International Conference on Islamic Studies (ICoIS) is a journal that published biannuaally every June and December by Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam Darul Ulum Banyuanyar Pamekasan The scope and focus of this journal is covers language issues researched in the branches of applied linguistics, such as sociolinguistics, discourse analysis, critical discourse analysis, pragmatics, stylistics, corpus linguistics, translation and others. In the area of literature, it covers literary history, literary theory, literary criticism and others, which may include written texts, movies and other media. And this journal also contains many varians of Isamic Studies, among others: Islamic thought, and other Islamic Studies.

Abstract

الإدارة التعليمية في التدريس، فيه الإدارة المنهج، الإدارة جودة المعلمين، الإدارة الجودة التعليمية، وما أشبه ذلك. في التعليم يوجد مرافق أي الوسائل التعليمية التي سيستخدمها المدرس أثناء التعليم لسهولته في بيان المواد التعليمية. للإدارة التعليمة أهمية كما للإدارة العامة أهمية، ولكن أهمية الإدارة التعليمية تتبع من الأهمية الحيوية للتعليم كقطاع خدمي لايستغنى المجتمع من خدماته. لاسيما في عصر الإضطراب أن مبادئ الإداري بجميع عملية التكاملية التعليمية في الجامعة فعليها أن تهتم القنون والنظوم والارشادات والمقرر الفعالي من الحكومة. كما اختيار في التطبيق أن جميع المشؤلية التكاملية التعليمية و يعلن لجميع أعضاء الجامعية التي تساعدها. أما التعليم هو نظام من الأعمال المقصودة، والنشاطات الهادفة، إلى إحداث التعليم، وهو عمليات التفاعل المتبادل بين الأفراد المعلمين والمدرسين. ومن المهم عن المعلقة بحالة المرافق و الخزائن كفاءة الناس الذي يعاملها و يستخدمها المرافق في التربية الإسلامية لايزال نقصا، المقصد من كفاءة الناس هي الكفاءة و المهارة و القدرة والسلوكية والدوافع التعهد.

Abstract

Covid 19 ruined the feel of my Ramadan Worship to be gloomy. On March 17, 2020, which coincided with the graduation of STKIP Harapan Bima students, they were exposed to government announcements regarding the lockdown in each region in Indonesia, which we previously heard from the president of the Republic of Indonesia if the corona virus that hit neighboring countries would not reach Indonesia. This announcement rings in the ears of the corona virus pandemic that exists in this country, it won't last long. In my opinion, it turns out that this virus has ruined all the plans that have crossed our minds since the end of 2019. The unfortunate thing that happened in all of these plans was with the presence of corona which we didn't or wanted to arrive. -Suddenly attacked and paralyzed my country, especially the NTB area.

Abstract

In Madurese society, university graduates still have a position that is considered. It is proven by the fact that there are still many people who are interested in continuing their studies to university level. Of course the main reason is to seek knowledge, but it is undeniable that an academic degree is no less important. This article discusses several things including, what is the meaning of academic degrees in Madurese society? what is the ideal profile of a college graduate? From the characteristics of a college graduate, what aspects are most expected by society? This is a qualitative research by applying phenomenology to find the hidden meaning of a phenomenon. Data were collected from observations and interviews with several community leaders, representatives of the general public, and also college students. For the concept of phenomenology, researcher will refer to Alfred Schutz's thinking who built a theoretical bridge connecting science and subjectivity. He agreed with Weber's view that human actions become social relations when humans give certain meanings to their actions, and other people also understand their actions as meaningful. One of the offers of the consequences of the method that it is offered through an observation model, that is divided based on direct and indirect method. Technically, the observation method in collecting this data can be done by using a list of questions or an interview guide to obtain the results of self-observation of the respondent's actions. In addition, interviews can be conducted more flexibly in an informal way. This article found that academic degrees are considered important for the Madurese community, especially to facilitate careers and gain legitimacy in society. Meanwhile, the ideal profile of a college graduate is to have competence in the field of science, good performance, and good character. However, of these characteristics, the Madurese community most expects is a good character. On the other hand, if a graduate has a bad character then he is considered to have failed to practice his knowledge and is not appreciated in society.

Abstract

Nowadays, character education in schools has received special attention by the government through the Ministry of Education and Culture Research Technology. The character of the education promoted by the government is integrated with formal education from the elementary schools, junior high schools and senior high schools levels, the presence of character education is expected to have a positive impact on the development of students in schools. According to Ryan & Bohlin (1999) character is a pattern of individual behavior, if the individual has good character, he has an understanding of goodness, likes goodness and does good. This research was conducted at the Integrated Islamic Elementary School (SDIT) Al Uswah Pamekasan with a sample of 42 parents, the method used in this research is descriptive quantitative research method using percentages. Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that the parents perception of the character building development of students was 90%. It is concluded that the parents perception is tremendous on the character building development of the Al Uswah Pamekasan Integrated Islamic Elementary School (SDIT) students. From these results, it is concluded that the character of Al Uswah Integrated Islamic Elementary School (SDIT) students has independence, has good behavior towards teachers and peers, maintains cleanliness and speaks politely.

Abstract

The university as an educational institution has a role in the intellectual life of the nation and state. The role of the university as an educational institution is how to build the character of students, so that the purpose of character education for universities, namely encouraging the birth of ethical, personality, honest, intelligent, and tough people can be realized. Therefore, the cultivation and process of character building must be considered by a university. The way that can be done is by giving courses that can build student character, one of which is by giving citizenship courses. Through the provision of citizenship courses, it is hoped that the concept of citizenship which focuses on the formation of a diverse self in terms of religion, sociocultural, language, age and ethnicity, to become Indonesian citizens who are intelligent, skilled, and with character, in accordance with what is mandated by Pancasila. and the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia. Thus, the focus of this paper is: first, regarding the curriculum material in the civics learning plan to support the character building of students as the younger generation. The second is planning a civics learning program to create intelligent characters for students as the younger generation.The research method used is a literature study method by reviewing library sheets from various criteria ranging from books, journals or articles. Literature research itself emphasizes the efforts of researchers in using sources in a professional and observant way from making research notes to bibliographies.

Abstract

Darul Ulum Banyuanyar Islamic College was one of the new colleges that used the established curriculum. The Arabic language in the college is taught at the first level with the four language skills, which are listening, speaking, reading and writing. The researcher would like to seek in this research and focus on the types of topics that are suitable in this regard, speaking of speaking skill on the basis of situations that control their selection and arrangement, and the researcher uses the appropriate educational materials in them. This research is conducted using the development approach, Burg and Gall stated that research and development. The results of the research are: 1) Needs analysis, planning and development, material development, expert arbitration, modification and correction, field experiment, recent modifications and corrections. 2) New teaching materials are effective in improving students' ability when performing their oral expression. This appears when the researcher compared the results in the pre-test and the post-test, and that the degree of t-account (t0) in this research (93,3) is greater than the degree of t-table at the level of 99% (2.83).

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the role of family education and its relation to the children politeness in Mataram. This research study was motivated by the views of the researchers regarding the manners of children, especially teenagers, are now increasingly deteriorating. This deterioration of manners has afflicted almost all walks of life in Indonesia. It was not only an economic crisis, and crisis of confidence, but also crisis of morals and manners. This research was descriptive qualitative approach. This method was to reveal the reality and actuality of teenagers’ politeness from the roles performed by parents. In collecting of the data, I used three methods, namely the interview, observation, and also documentation method. Based on the research, the description of the role was obtained family education implemented by parents in Mataram was to instill belief values ​​in the form of faith and piety by using the method of habituation and exemplary, maintain and care for the physical and spiritual health of children, educate children with the method of reward and punishment, and educate children to have morals and good manners. The method of teaching education in the family has a role applied by the family was the formation of politeness to the children itself. This can be proven in the daily lives of children used good speech when talking to other people, respect others, and cherish younger people, as well respect elders.

Abstract

The majority of education today are adapted from well-develop countries such as western world. The western world is a world that fostering the knowledge and science that not suitable with the Islamic live and values. The primary education is the starting education for the human live in their education. The students of Primary education are fresh minded so the knowledge they receive will root in their mind. English language teaching is one of the few subjects which is taught in Primary Education, this subject is crucial and need more attention for the teachers who are teaching in primary education because the originality of this language is from the western world. Therefore, the integration of Islamic values to teach this subject is highly recommended for the teachers of ELT in Primary Education

إن من المعاهد بمادورا الذي اعتبر ناجحا في تنشئة متعلميه ذوي كفاءة اتصالية عربية وإعقاد عملية تعليم اللغة العربية معهد دار اللغة والدراسات الاسلامية مستدلا أن المعهد قد أنتج عدة الخريجين وكذلك ماكان بقليل من هؤلاء عدد المواصلين دراستهم بالجامعات في الشرق الأوسط نحو جامعة الأحقاف وجامعة الأزهر وجامعة أم القرى. ولعل مايجعل التعليم ناجحا أن اللغة العربية فيه علمت على وظيفتها الأصلية وهي للاتصال بعضهم بعضا. فالغة العربية مستخدمة كاللغة التمهيدية عند عملية التعليم يشرح بها المعلم ويلقي بها المادة التعليمية. استخدم الباحث في كتابة هذا البحث بمدخل الكيفي بمنهج دراسة الحالة. واستخدم طريقة جمع البيانات نحو طريقة المقابلة والملاحظة والتوثيق. واستخدم الباحث طريقة تحليل البيانات في هذه البحث لنموذج ميسلس وهوبرمان. أما نتائج البحث فهي على النحو التالي: (أ) تخطيط برنامج تعليم اللغة العربية على ضوء نظرية جيورج ر. تاري يتكون من : (1) تعيين الأهداف (2) وتعيين أنشطة التعليم (3) وتعيين المواد التعليمية (4) وتعيين المدخل والطرق التعليمية (5) وتعيين الوسائل التعليمية. (ب) تنظيم برنامج تعليم اللغة العربية على ضوء نظرية جيورج ر. تاري احتوى (1) وضع الهيكل الإداري (2) وتنصيب المدبرين والمسؤولين (3) وتعيين جداول التعليم للمعلمين (4) وتوظيف المعلمين. (ج) تنفيذ برنامج تعليم اللغة العربية على ضوء نظرية جيورج ر. تاري يتكون من (1) إدارة الصف (2) وتنفيذ عملية التعليم (3) وتوجيه المعلمين. (د) مراقبة برنامج تعليم اللغة العربية على ضوء نظرية جيورج ر. تاري تتم بنوعي المراقبة أي (1) المراقبة المباشرة (2) والمرقبة بالتقويم. وإن هذه الوظائف الإدارية الأربعة طابقت وناسبت بمبادئ الإدراة وعناصرها عند جيورج ر. تاري. وأما العوامل الداعمة والعائقة تبعا لما يلي: العوامل الداعمة تحتوي على عدم استخدام اللغة الإندونسية وتنفيذ برنامج تعليم اللغة العربية والمراقبة أو المرافقة المتوالية وتوفر الوسائل التعليمية المعاصرة ووجود برنامج تحفيظ القرآن الكريم. وأما العوامل العائقة من أهمها قلة المعلمين وتحول همة الطلبة وتقلبها وعدم اقتناء البيئة اللغوية العربية وعدم الناطق الأصلي.

Abstract

This study focused on three cases such as (a) Increasing students’ speaking ability in expressing their needs willingness or to communicate directly with their friends in school. (b) To enable students communicate in English correctly. (c) to know how the process of the technique and the result of students’ speaking ability after taught by using guessing game technique.The study problems were: 1) How does the process of guessing game technique increasing students; speaking ability? 2) To what extent the guessing game technique increase the students’ speaking ability? 3) How does teacher implements the guessing game technique in teaching speaking in order to increase students’ speaking ability?. This study was classroom action research. The subjects of the study were students at Eight grades of MTs NW 02 Rensing. the numbers of students are 42. The technique of collecting data used observation, non observation and documentation. The technique of data analysis used individually and classically.The result of study regarded to the minimum completeness criteria (KKM) which dicided by government on 2013 curriculum. The KKM is devided into three level such as A) Complexity: High=1, Medium=2, Low=3. B) Carrying capacity: High=3, Medium=2, Low=1. C) Intake: High=3, Medium=2, Low=1. The result at the first cycle showed there were only 28 students who met the criteria of completeness with HIGH category. In the second cycle there was an improvement of students who passed namely 37 students with percentage of 80.76 with 3.38 % of impovement. Thus, it could be concluded by implementing the guessing game technique in teaching English could increase students’ speaking ability.
