The coverage of UCI villages or ward according to the Community Health Center in Ketapang Regency in 2021, the Air Upas Health Center is in 7th place (75% coverage) which has not met the target. As for immunization coverage complete basic measles and basic immunization in infants from Ketapang Regency, Air Upas was ranked 13th, namely the fulfillment of measles immunization by 73% and basic immunization by 74%. There are many reasons why they don’t immunize their babies. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between parents perceptions and the completeness of basic immunizations in infants aged 12-24. The research is a type of korelasional analytic design. The population in this study were parent who had babies aged 12-24 months. The sampling technique uses total sampling where the number of samples is the same as the population which later the population that enter is the same as the number of samples needed, namely as many as 33 people. Data were collected using questionnaires and basic immunization completeness assessment sheets, and then analyzed using chi-square statistical analysis with p < 0,05. The results of the analysis most of the respondents (60,6%) had positive perceptions, and 18 respondents (54,5%) or most of them had babies with complete immunization. The results of the statistical test using che-square show the results of the value X2 – 18,992a and p = 0,000 the value of p < α where p < 0,05 means that the results showed that parent had a positive perception of basic immunization in infants aged 12-24 months. Researches hope that health workers will continue to increase their motivation, ability, and knowledge related to complete basic immunization. In addition, it can increase education about complete basic immunization and the importance of completeness of basic immunization for Posyandu cadres, parents and families so that it can increase immunization coverage and change negative parental perceptions of immunization for infants.

Abstract

Adolescent girls will lose blood which can cause a decrease in hemoglobin levels during menstruation. The function of iron is needed by the body to produce blood. Consumption of foods containing vitamin C plays a role in accelerating the absorption of iron so that it can increase hemoglobin levels during menstruation. Red guava (Psidium guajava l.) has a high vitamin C content of 87 mg/100 grams. This study aims to determine the effect of giving red guava juice on hemoglobin levels during menstruation in adolescent girls at Lirboyo Al-Mahrusiyyah Islamic Boarding School's female dormitory, Kediri, East Java. This research is a true experiment with a randomized pretest-posttest control group design with a sampling technique using simple random sampling. The samples were divided into 4 groups, namely 1 control group (no treatment), and 3 treatment groups with 200 mL/person/day of red guava juice, 250 mL/person/day), and 300 mL/person/day of guava juice. given for 5 days of menstruation. Hemoglobin levels were measured using the Ouik-Check Hemoglobin testing system. The results of the study stated that there was an effect of red guava juice on hemoglobin levels during menstruation (p=0.000). The results of the Tukey HSD test proved that there were differences in hemoglobin levels between groups, namely for the control group with P1 (p=0.004), the control group with P2 (p=0.000), the control group with P3 (p=0.000), P1 and P2 (p = 0.000), and P1 with P3 (p = 0.000). So it can be concluded that giving red guava juice can affect hemoglobin levels during menstruation in adolescent girls.

Abstract

Spatial visual intelligence is intelligence related to visual (vision) and the use of space and making models or images based on the results of observations made before. According to a survey found by researchers in March, 13 children had delayed spatial visual intelligence and 11 were able to recognize images but still needed stimulation. This study aims to determine the influence of animated video media on the development of spatial visual intelligence in children aged 4-5 years at Al Hidayah Bakung Kindergarten, Blitar Regency in 2023. This research uses a pre-experimental design of one group pre test post test design technique carried out at Al Hidayah Bakung Kindergarten, Blitar Regency. The study population of all students aged 4-5 years was 24 respondents. With the technique of sampling the total population. The independent variable of the study was animation media, while the dependent variable of spatial visual intelligence development was measured by the Stanford Binet test. The data were then analyzed by testing Wilcoxon's hypothesis with α = 0.05.The results of the development of spatial visual intelligence before the provision of animation media from 24 respondents, most of the 13 respondents in the category of children need to get more intensive stimulation and after being given animation media almost all of them, namely 22 respondents are categorized as intelligent children and can develop quite well. The results of the Wilcoxon test show ρ value = 0.000 ≤ α = 0.05 so that H1 is accepted. In conclusion, there is an influence on the development of spatial visual intelligence in children aged 4-5 years. So mothers are expected to be able to maximize the use of animation media as a facility to develop spatial visual intelligence in children aged 4-5 years. Animation media can be given every day for 15 – 20 minutes.

Abstract

The World Health Organization (WHO) shows that there are 170 million malnourished children worldwide. One of the effects is not to provide breast milk (breast milk) first, namely colostrum as initial immunity in children. A preliminary study at the Tiron Health Center in April 2023 found that only 10% of babies were breastfed after the first birth. This study wants to prove whether there is a relationship between postpartum maternal knowledge about the importance of colostrum with maternal interest in giving colostrum to infants This study is a relational analytical research using a cross sectional approach. The population in this study was 180 people with incidental sampling techniques. The variable measured is Post Partum Mother's Knowledge of the Importance of Colostrum as an independent variable, while the dependent variable is the mother's interest in giving colostrum to her baby. The results obtained from this study are that almost all (80%) maternity mothers have good knowledge and only a small percentage (10%) of mothers have sufficient knowledge and (10%) mothers have less knowledge about colostrum. The statistical test used in this study is the Spearman Rho test obtained calculation results with a significant value of ρ value = 0.000 while α = 0.05. Since the significant value is smaller than α = 0.05, H1 is accepted, thus There is a relationship between the mother's postpartum knowledge of the importance of colostrum and the mother's interest in giving colostrum to the baby.As a health teanaga who knows the importance of breastfeeding (breast milk) the first is colostrum. Let's make the 0-6 month breastfeeding program a success for babies, so that they can give birth to more qualified future generations.
