Abstract

This study investigates the effectiveness of Instagram as an online platform in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning at SMAN 2 Sarolangun. Employing a qualitative approach with a case study design, this research involved 30 students of class XII F3 and PAI teachers as research subjects. Data were collected through observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation, then analysed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model with source and technique triangulation to ensure validity. The findings reveal three dominant patterns of Instagram utilization: passive content consumption, active content creation, and interactive digital discussion. Several supporting factors were identified, including students' pre-existing familiarity with the platform, the abundance of Islamic educational content, and the flexibility of the Kurikulum Merdeka framework. Instagram positively impacted students' learning motivation by presenting PAI material in visually engaging and contextually relevant formats. Furthermore, guided Instagram engagement cultivated key dimensions of Islamic digital literacy character, including tabayyun (information verification), tasamuh (tolerance), and adab (digital ethics). However, risks of distraction and unequal internet access remain critical challenges requiring structured pedagogical intervention.

Abstract

This study investigates the effectiveness of the Jigsaw cooperative learning model in improving students' learning interest in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at SMK Negeri 7 Tanjung Jabung Barat. Employing a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design based on the Kemmis and McTaggart cycle model, the study was conducted in two cycles involving 30 XI-students during the 2025/2026 academic year. Data were collected through Likert-scale questionnaires, classroom observation sheets, formative tests, interviews, and documentation. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques and the qualitative analysis model of Miles and Huberman. The findings revealed significant improvements across all measured dimensions. The average learning interest score increased from 52.4 in the pre-cycle stage to 82.5 in Cycle II, representing a cumulative improvement of 57.4%. Student activity levels rose from 30.0% to 85.3%, while the percentage of students achieving the Minimum Completeness Criterion (MCC) increased substantially from 30.0% to 90.0%. Student responses also indicated a highly positive perception of the Jigsaw model, with an average positive response rate of 86.0%. These findings demonstrate that the Jigsaw cooperative learning model effectively promotes autonomy, competence, and social connectedness the three fundamental components of intrinsic motivation thereby making it an effective, evidence-based, and pedagogically sound instructional strategy for Islamic Religious Education in vocational secondary schools.

Abstract

The integration of interactive multimedia in education has gained considerable attention, yet its practical application in Indonesian vocational settings remains limited. This study examines the effectiveness of Powtoon-based interactive learning media on students' learning interest in ICT subjects at MA Darusshiddiqien NW Mertak Paok, Central Lombok. Employing a quantitative approach with a one-group pretest-posttest design, data were collected from 26 students of class XI-IPS using a 22-item Likert-scale questionnaire. The chi-square test yielded a calculated value of 19.774, which exceeded the table value of 9.488 at a 5% significance level with df = 4. These results indicate a statistically significant effect, leading to the rejection of the null hypothesis. The findings suggest that Powtoon-based interactive media contributes positively to enhancing students' learning interest in ICT education. However, the small sample size and single-group design limit the generalizability of the results. Future research should consider larger samples and comparative designs to validate these findings across diverse educational contexts

Abstract

The growing coffee consumption culture in urban society and the increasing use of digital platforms have changed how coffee shops identify customer demand, manage inventory, and maintain service consistency. In this context, supply chain performance has become an essential managerial concern because coffee shop businesses must respond to fluctuating demand, short product life cycles, intense competition, and customer expectations for fast and reliable service. This study aims to examine the effect of market orientation on supply chain performance, with supply chain integration as a mediating variable. This research employed a quantitative explanatory approach using survey data collected from coffee shop owners or managers in Jabodetabek. The respondents were selected through purposive sampling, resulting in 66 coffee shops that met the research criteria. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The findings show that market orientation positively affects supply chain integration and supply chain performance. Supply chain integration also improves supply chain performance and partially mediates the relationship between market orientation and supply chain performance. These findings indicate that market orientation is not merely a marketing activity, but also a managerial capability to interpret changes in urban digital consumer behavior and translate them into operational coordination, procurement, inventory management, and supplier collaboration. The study implies that coffee shop managers should integrate digital market insights with supply chain practices to maintain product availability, freshness, service speed, and service consistency.

Abstract

This study analyzes the role of collateral quality in the settlement of non-performing financing at Bank NTB Syariah. The study is motivated by the importance of collateral as a risk mitigation instrument in Islamic banking, which plays a crucial role in determining the success of financing recovery. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation involving financing officers and risk management staff and were analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing techniques. The findings show that collateral quality significantly influences the effectiveness of non-performing financing settlement. High-quality collateral characterized by clear legal certainty, complete documentation, stable value, and high liquidity can accelerate the settlement process and reduce losses, while weak collateral tends to slow down liquidation and increase financing risk. Several obstacles were identified, including incomplete legal documents, ownership disputes, declining asset values, low market demand for certain assets, and limited collateral appraisal capability. The bank addresses these issues through improved verification processes, inter-unit coordination, periodic valuation, prioritization of restructuring before collateral execution, and staff training. This study concludes that effective collateral quality management is essential to optimize non-performing financing settlement and maintain financing risk stability in Islamic banking.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the Quote Creator application in poetry writing activities and to describe the results of composing poems using the application for second-semester students. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, involving 28 second-semester students from the English Education Department at Universitas Islam Madura, Indonesia. Data were collected through observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that the implementation of Quote Creator went through three stages: feature exploration, guided writing, and publication. Students developed multimodal awareness by combining text and visual elements such as colors, backgrounds, images, and fonts to strengthen the meaning of their poems. Students wrote about personal themes including family affection, simplicity, nature, hope, and love, using simple yet communicative English. Increased student confidence was reported because the digital format produced neat and visually appealing results. However, challenges in arranging words in English indicated the need for continued pedagogical guidance. This study suggests that Quote Creator, when used with appropriate teacher guidance, can serve as an effective offline digital tool for creative writing instruction.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the characteristics and levels of heavy metal content of Cadmium (Cd), Chromium (Cr), Cobalt (Co), Copper (Cu), Iron (Fe), Manganese (Mn), and Zinc (Zn) in soil at various locations in Hila village, Romang Island, and to evaluate its safety based on the applicable soil quality standards by comparing it with the Regulation of the Minister of Environment Number 128 of 2003, concerning Soil Quality Standards for Agricultural and Residential Activities. Sampling was carried out randomly in a stratified manner at several points representing coastal areas, lowlands, and highlands. Analysis of heavy metal content was carried out using the atomic absorption spectrophotometry method using the Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry (AAS) atomic absorption spectrometer Buck Scientific 205 version 3.94C. The results of the study showed that the element Iron (Fe) had the highest levels compared to other elements in all sampling locations, ranging from 12,450 – 18,920 mg/kg, followed by Manganese (Mn) with a range of 320 – 680 mg/kg. Meanwhile, the element Cadmium (Cd) showed the lowest levels, which were below 0.5 mg/kg in all locations. Comparison of the measurement results with soil quality standards for agricultural and residential purposes showed that all measured heavy metal levels were still below the safe threshold, except for the elements Iron and Manganese, which had high levels but were natural conditions and not pollution. These results serve as important baseline data for environmental management and sustainable land use in Hila Village, Romang Island.

Abstract

The low environmental and digital literacy levels of Indonesian students, as well as the suboptimal integration of local potentials such as Lombok educational tourism into science learning, are the main backgrounds of this research. This study aims to explore the potential of integrating the Contextual Inquiry Learning model with Virtual Reality (VR)-assisted educational tourism in order to improve environmental and digital literacy in junior high school students. The method used is a systematic literature study with bibliometric analysis of 1,000 Google Scholar indexed documents for the period 2010-2025. Data collection techniques were carried out through the Dimensions.ai and Google Scholar databases using Publish or Perish software, with document selection following PRISMA guidelines. Data analysis techniques include bibliometric analysis assisted by VOSviewer to visualize trends, networks, and keyword density, as well as content analysis to identify key themes. The results show that publication trends on this topic fluctuate with a significant spike in 2021 (5,411 publications), dominated by publications in the form of book chapters (18,831 publications). The primary research sources come from the fields of education, psychology, and information technology. The keywords with the highest density include "students," "learning," "inquiry," and "education," while "metacognition" and "general models" have high relevance. Network visualization reveals six main clusters emphasizing technology integration, problem-based approaches, collaboration, and the development of critical thinking skills. The discussion confirms that the integration of educational tourism, STEAM approaches, and VR can create immersive and contextual learning experiences that strengthen conceptual understanding while building ecological awareness and digital competencies. The conclusion of this study is that the Contextual Inquiry Learning model integrated with VR-assisted educational tourism has a significant impact on improving students' environmental and digital literacy. Consequently, this study provides a foundation for the development of a more innovative, relevant, and locally-based science curriculum, and encourages the need for teacher training in integrating VR technology and contextual inquiry approaches into 21st-century learning.

Abstract

The development of digital learning has encouraged a re-examination of various theoretical foundations in education, including the relevance of tabula rasa theory, which views knowledge as developing through learning experiences. This study aims to synthesize research findings on tabula rasa theory in the context of digital learning and to examine its implications for instructional design and the development of educational technology. The method employed is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) conducted through stages of identification, screening, eligibility assessment, and systematic synthesis of the literature to identify research trends, major themes, and forms of conceptual implementation in technology-based educational practices. The results of the review indicate that tabula rasa theory remains relevant, particularly in emphasizing the importance of learning experiences, interaction with the learning environment, and instructional designs that are adaptive to learners’ needs. Flexible, interactive, and data-driven digital learning further reinforces the importance of learner-centered instructional design that prioritizes meaningful learning experiences. The findings suggest that tabula rasa theory continues to hold conceptual value in understanding experience-based learning processes; however, it needs to be integrated with contemporary learning theories to remain relevant to the complexity of digital learning and the ongoing development of educational technology.
