Abstract

This research is motivated by the existence of problems in learning Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in class IV UPTD SD Negeri 12 Guguak VIII Koto, namely in learning PAI teachers still teach conventionally have not utilized technology in learning so that learning becomes monotonous and outdated, teachers also have not applied a varied learning model, enthusiasm and motivation to learn PAI students are still lacking and the initiative to ask is still low. These problems resulted in low PAI learning outcomes of students. So that action is taken to overcome these problems by applying the Problem Based Learning model. The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement of PAI learning outcomes through the Problem Based Learning Model on the material of welcoming the age of puberty in class IV UPTD SD Negeri 12 Guguak VIII Koto District Guguak Kab Lima Puluh Kota. This type of research is a Classroom Action Research (PTK), which was conducted in two cycles. The subjects in this study were students of class IV SDN 12 Guguak VIII Koto in the 2024/2025 school year, totaling 13 people. The research success indicator determined is if the percentage of PAI learning outcomes is more than 75% of students get more than or equal to the Criteria for Achieving Learning Objectives (KKTP), namely 75. The results showed that teacher activities carried out in cycle I amounted to 75%, student activities were 78%, and the percentage of students' PAI learning outcomes was 62%. Although there was an increase in learning outcomes, it had not yet reached the predetermined success indicators so the research continued to cycle II. In cycle II, the teacher's activity was 100%, the students' activity was 96%, and the percentage of students' PAI learning outcomes was 92%. In cycle II, the success indicators were achieved so that the research did not need to be continued to the next cycle. The conclusion that can be drawn in this study is the increase in PAI learning outcomes through the Problem Based Learning model in class IV UPTD SD Negeri 12 Guguak VIII Koto Guguak District, Lima Puluh Kota Regency.

Abstract

Education aims to improve the quality and quantity of students. The selection of the right learning model in the learning process greatly affects the high and low learning outcomes of students. The learning model is an approach that can be taken by educators so that the teaching and learning process runs effectively so that educational goals are achieved. The problem in this study is the low learning outcomes of students in Islamic Religious Education subjects because the learning model used is still not varied and conventional. To overcome these problems, researchers applied the Problem Based Learning (PBL) Model with the aim of improving Islamic Education learning outcomes in class VII UPTD SMPN 2 Suliki District. This research uses the type of classroom action research (PTK). The subjects in this study were students of class VII UPTD SMPN 2 Suliki District, totaling 10 students consisting of 6 male students and 4 female students. Classroom action research was carried out in two cycles, each cycle consisting of one meeting. In this study there are four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Data collection was carried out using observation and written tests. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the average learning outcomes of students have increased. It is known that the KKTP value that has been determined from the school is 70. In pre-research, it is known that 4 students have reached KKTP with a percentage of 40% and 6 students have not reached KKTP with a percentage of 60%. In cycle I, it has increased as many as 6 students have reached KKTP with a percentage of 60% and 4 students have not reached KKTP with a percentage of 40%. Furthermore, in cycle II there has been an increase of 10 students with a percentage of 100%.

Abstract

Academic dishonesty is a phenomenon that is often encountered in the world of education and is considered normal and ignored by many people. Acts of cheating are certainly not in line with the values ​​instilled in character education which is the ultimate goal of education, namely to produce positive individuals. Two of the factors that can influence academic dishonesty are self-control and the level of moral reasoning. This study aims to determine the relationship between self-control and moral reasoning at the pre-conventional, conventional, and post-conventional levels, with academic dishonesty in students at SMAN X, Tambang District. The subjects of this study were 271 students in grades X and XI. The sampling technique was probability sampling with cluster random sampling. The data collection method used a scale of academic dishonesty, self-control, and moral reasoning. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study showed that together there was no significant relationship between self-control and moral reasoning at the pre-conventional, conventional, and post-conventional levels with academic dishonesty in students at SMAN X, Tambang District. Furthermore, there was no negative relationship between self-control and academic dishonesty in students at SMAN X, Tambang District. There is no negative relationship between pre-conventional level moral reasoning and academic dishonesty in students at SMAN X, Tambang District. There is no negative relationship between conventional level moral reasoning and academic dishonesty in students at SMAN X, Tambang District. There is no negative relationship between post-conventional level moral reasoning and academic dishonesty in students at SMAN X, Tambang District. This research on self-control and level of moral reasoning has not been proven to have an effect on reducing students' academic dishonesty.

Abstract

This study aims to enhance early childhood speaking skills at TK Melati Indah through the implementation of the story-retelling method. This research employs Classroom Action Research (CAR) using the Kemmis and McTaggart model, involving 17 children aged 4-5 years over two cycles. Data were collected through observation and documentation, then analyzed using quantitative and qualitative data analysis techniques. The results indicate an improvement in children's speaking skills, with an average percentage reaching 55.01% in cycle I and increasing to 76.81% in cycle II. Thus, the story-retelling method has proven effective in enhancing the speaking skills of early childhood learners.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the low ability to count in children aged 5-6 years in group B at Tunas Jaya Kindergarten, Balam Jaya Village, Tambang District, Kampar Regency. The purpose of this study was to improve counting skills with the use of natural media in group B children aged 5-6 years at Tunas Jaya Kindergarten, Balam Jaya Village. The research design used in this research is class action research (PTK). This research was carried out in 2 cycles, in each cycle there were 2 meetings, which consisted of the following activities: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research was conducted from May 20 to May 30, 2024. The instruments used in this research are observation sheets and documentation. The population and sample in this study were children aged 5-6 years in group B, totaling 15 children, 8 boys and 7 girls. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation and documentation. The data analysis technique in this research is quantitative descriptive technique. The results showed that there was an increase in children's counting ability starting from cycle I 40%, when carried out in cycle II to 86.7%.It can be concluded that the use of natural media can improve counting skills in children aged 5-6 years in group B at Tunas Jaya Kindergarten, Balam Jaya Village is said to be successful by reaching 86.7% in the very well developed category.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low speaking ability of group B children at Garuda 005 Sawah Kindergarten, North Kampar District, Kampar Regency. The formulation of the problem in this study is “Can the application of the storytelling method in front of the class improve the speaking ability of children in kindergarten 005 Sawah?”. The purpose of this classroom action research is to improve children's speaking ability with the application of storytelling in front of the class at 005 Sawah Kindergarten. This research was conducted in 2 cycles and in each cycle consisted of two meetings consisting of the following activities: planning, implementation, observation, reflection. The research time was carried out from May 20 to May 28. The population and sample in this study were group B which amounted to 18 children, 9 boys and 9 girls. The data analysis technique in this research is quantitative descriptive technique. Data collection was done using observation sheets, and documentation. The results showed that the development of children's speaking ability starting from cycle I with a percentage of 55.54%. When carried out in the second cycle it increased to 94.99%. Based on the results obtained in cycle I and cycle II, it can be concluded that the development of children's speaking ability in storytelling activities in front of the class can improve speaking ability in children aged 5-6 years at Garuda 005 Sawah Kindergarten.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the low level of fine motor skills in group B children at Garuda 005 Sawah Kindergarten, fine motor skills are fine movements involving certain parts that are carried out by small muscles and wiping is the guidance of drawing activities through a touch of color and artistry of shape. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of smudging activities on children's fine motor skills. The method used in this research is Classroom Action Research (PTK). This study amounted to 18 children consisting of 9 boys 9 girls. The instrument used is an observation sheet that is adjusted to the indicators. Data collection techniques used observation and documentation. Data analysis is calculating data to verify and interpret with the formula P = F / N X 100%. The percentage results increased starting from pre-study, cycle I and cycle II, it can be said that the ability of fine motoriuk in children's wiping activities has reached the criteria for success, namely reaching 88.9% which is said by researchers and teachers to be successful.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya cara pembelajaran dan rendahnya nilai agama dan moral pada anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan perkembangan nilai agama dan moral pada anak TK Qurratul Aini Dusun Ujung Padang Kecamatan Tambang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa TK Qurratul Aini yang berjumlah 17 orang. Sedangkan objek dalam penelitian ini adalah metode bercerita dan perkembangan nilai agama dan moral. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus, setiap siklus dilaksanakan 2 kali pertemuan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian bahwa sebelum tindakan terdapat 10 anak (59%) pada kategori belum berkembang, 6 anak (35%) pada kategori mulai berkembang dan 1 anak (6%) pada kategori berkembang sesuai harapan, kemudian dilakukan tindakan korektif dengan menggunakan metode bercerita, pada siklus I jumlah anak pada kategori belum berkembang 7 anak (41%), pada kategori mulai berkembang berjumlah 7 anak (41%), dan pada katergori berkembang sesuai harapan terdapat 3 anak (18%). In cycle II, the development of children's religious and moral values experienced a significant increase. There were no more children in the undeveloped category. 3 children (18%) in the category of starting to develop, 3 children (18%) in the category of developing as expected, and there were 11 children (64%) in the category of developing very well. Thus, it can be concluded that the storytelling method can improve the development of religious and moral values of children at Qurratul Aini Kindergarten Ujung Padang Hamlet, Tambang District.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the low language in group B children at Garuda 005 Sawah Kindergarten, North Kampar District, Kampar Regency. The purpose of this class action research is to improve children's language aspects through the storytelling model in early childhood at Garuda 005 Sawah Kindergarten. This research was carried out in 2 cycles, in each cycle there were 2 meetings, which consisted of the following activities: planning, implementation, observation, reflection. The research time was carried out from May 22 to May 30. Population and samples in this study in group B which amounted to 18 children, 9 boys and 9 girls. The data analysis technique in this research is quantitative descriptive technique. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation and documentation. The results showed that there was an increase in children's language aspects starting from 6% preaction, in cycle I 56%, when carried out in cycle II to 83%. It can be concluded that through the storytelling model can improve children's language aspects in group B at Garuda 005 Sawah Kindergarten said to be successful by reaching 83% in the very well developed category.

Abstract

This research aims to increase children's creativity through smart box media at Adzkyah Bangkinang Kindergarten, Kampar Regency. This research was motivated by the low creativity abilities of children in games. The type of research used was classroom action research, in this case the research subjects were children aged 4-5 years. Meanwhile, the object of this research is a smart box media game. This research was carried out in 2 cycles, each cycle held 2 meetings. The data collection techniques used in this research are observation, interviews and documentation. Based on the results of the research, before the action, 2 children or 13.3% of their creativity had developed according to expectations, 6 children or 40% of their creativity had begun to develop, and 7 children or 46.6% of their creativity had not yet developed. In cycle I there was an increase in creative abilities, 2 children or 13.3% of children's creativity developed according to expectations, 9 children or 60% of children's creativity began to develop, and 4 children or 26.7% of children's creativity had not yet developed. Meanwhile, in cycle II children's creative abilities increased, 2 children or 13.5% of children's creativity developed very well, 8 children or 55.2% of children's creativity developed as expected, and 5 children or 33.4% of children's creativity began to develop. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of smart box media can increase the creative abilities of children at the Adzkyah Bangkinang Kindergarten, Kampar Regency.
