Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of quality of work life on employee performance with job satisfaction as a mediating variable for employees at the Lowokwaru District Office, Malang City. Quality of work life is one of the important factors that can influence employee satisfaction and performance in a bureaucratic work environment. This study uses a quantitative approach with an explanatory research type to explain the causal relationship between variables. The population in this study were all 37 employees of the Lowokwaru District Office, and all of them were used as research samples through a total sampling technique. Data collection techniques were carried out through distributing questionnaires, direct interviews, and observations to obtain more comprehensive and in-depth data. Data analysis was carried out using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method based on Partial Least Square (SmartPLS) to test the structural model and research hypotheses. The results showed that quality of work life had a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction and employee performance. Job satisfaction was also proven to have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. In addition, job satisfaction was proven to significantly mediate the relationship between quality of work life and employee performance. Thus, these findings reinforce the importance of creating a supportive, fair work environment that provides a work-life balance to enhance job satisfaction and encourage overall employee performance. The implications of this research suggest that government agency management, particularly at the sub-district level, needs to prioritize efforts to improve the quality of work life as a strategy to encourage optimal employee performance. Improving aspects such as working conditions, participation in decision-making, career development, and work-life balance should be prioritized in managerial policies.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the influence of job satisfaction, occupational health and safety (OHS), and work stress on turnover intention among employees of PT. Daya Surya Sejahtera Ponorogo. The high turnover rate is a phenomenon that has the potential to hamper the smooth operation of the company and increase the costs of recruiting and training new employees. Therefore, understanding the factors that influence the intention to leave the company is important in order to maintain workforce stability and productivity. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method through distributing questionnaires to respondents. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling, with the Slovin formula, resulting in 72 respondents from a total population of 250 employees. The data obtained were then analyzed using multiple linear regression methods with the help of SPSS version 25 software. The results of the analysis show that the three independent variables, namely job satisfaction, OHS, and work stress, simultaneously have a significant effect on turnover intention. Partially, job satisfaction and OHS have a negative effect on turnover intention, meaning that the higher the job satisfaction and good OHS implementation, the lower the employee's intention to leave the company. Conversely, job stress showed a positive effect, meaning that the higher the level of job stress, the greater the employee's intention to resign. This finding indicates the importance of management attention to working conditions, employee well-being, and stress management in the workplace. Companies are advised to consider providing competitive compensation, creating a healthy and safe work environment, and providing career development paths as strategies to sustainably reduce employee turnover intentions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Minister of Home Affairs Regulation No. 20 of 2018 concerning village financial management, with a case study in Jatimekar Village, Jatiluhur District, Purwakarta Regency. The regulation was issued as a guideline to enhance transparency, accountability, and efficiency in managing village funds, which are vital for supporting rural development and community welfare. The research employs a qualitative approach using interviews and documentation techniques to gather relevant data on the application of financial management principles in Jatimekar Village. Findings indicate that the village government has implemented the regulation in accordance with established procedures, covering stages such as planning, implementation, administration, reporting, and accountability of village finances. The use of the village financial system application (SISKEUDes) has been instrumental in ensuring systematic management, accurate documentation, and efficient reporting of financial activities. Moreover, the adoption of this application supports compliance with regulatory standards while also strengthening transparency for stakeholders, particularly the community. Although challenges such as limited human resource capacity and the need for continuous technical training remain, the overall implementation demonstrates alignment with the regulatory framework. This research highlights the importance of strengthening institutional capacity and digital literacy to maximize the effectiveness of SISKEUDes and ensure sustainable governance practices. Therefore, the study concludes that the application of the Minister of Home Affairs Regulation No. 20 of 2018 in Jatimekar Village reflects a positive step toward improving accountability, transparency, and efficiency in village financial management, which may serve as a model for other villages in Indonesia.

Abstract

Culinary tourism has emerged as a key driver in strengthening destination competitiveness, particularly in regions such as Lahat where authentic local cuisine is central to the visitor experience. This research explores how social media, tourist experiences, and brand awareness contribute to the development of culinary tourism in Lahat’s hospitality sector. A quantitative, explanatory approach was employed, involving 100 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Data were obtained via structured questionnaires distributed both directly at culinary venues and through online platforms, and subsequently analyzed using descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and multiple regression with SPSS.The analysis indicates that social media engagement, tourist experience, and brand awareness all exert significant positive effects on culinary tourism. Among these, tourist experience proved to be the strongest predictor, demonstrating the importance of food quality, ambience, and service encounters in shaping visitor satisfaction and loyalty. Social media was found to be effective in influencing travel decisions by showcasing user-generated and visually appealing content, while brand awareness enhanced destination recognition and encouraged word-of-mouth promotion. Together, the three variables accounted for 62% of the variance in culinary tourism outcomes, reflecting their combined influence in shaping tourist behavior and destination appeal.The study enriches the academic discourse by providing empirical evidence from an emerging culinary destination, illustrating how digital interaction, experiential value, and brand identity converge to promote sustainable tourism. From a managerial standpoint, the results emphasize the need for stakeholders to adopt digital storytelling, cultivate authentic culinary experiences, and strengthen Lahat’s gastronomic branding to secure its position as a distinctive culinary tourism destination.

Abstract

This study examines the crucial role of tolerance in shaping social interactions as an effort to establish peace within Indonesia’s multicultural society, characterized by cultural, religious, and ethnic diversity. Such diversity represents a valuable social asset; however, if it is not managed with mutual respect, it may lead to conflicts and divisions among community members. In this context, tolerance serves as a key mechanism for maintaining social harmony, strengthening cohesion among citizens, and fostering an inclusive environment that genuinely respects differences. The research method employed is library research, compiling various sources including literature, books, journals, and previous scientific studies that are relevant and support a deeper understanding. This approach allows the researcher to gain comprehensive insights into the concept of tolerance, its forms of implementation, and its impacts on social interaction and societal stability. Data analysis is conducted qualitatively by examining patterns of social relationships formed through tolerant attitudes, including how individuals and groups can cooperate effectively despite having different backgrounds. The findings indicate that tolerance significantly contributes to mitigating potential conflicts, enhancing cooperation among individuals and groups, fostering mutual respect, and strengthening social solidarity. Moreover, tolerance helps in shaping an inclusive national identity, where differences are viewed as collective assets rather than sources of division. Therefore, tolerance is not only a moral value but also a strategic foundation for building a harmonious, peaceful, and sustainable society. Its implementation can be reinforced through character education, intergroup dialogue, positive social interactions, and public policies that promote inclusivity and equality. Thus, tolerance becomes a primary instrument in realizing a safe, harmonious social life that respects and appreciates diversity throughout Indonesia.

Abstract

In this study, three research variables were analyzed: service, price perception, and facilities as independent variables that influence the dependent variable, namely service user interest in users of the Gojek online-based taxi service in Semarang. The formulation of the problem, research objective and hypothesis in this study is to analyze the positive and significant influence individually between the independent variables, namely service quality, perception of risk and promotion on the dependent variable, namely the interest of online study taxi service users on Gojek customers in Semarang. The objects taken were users of the online Gojek based taxi service in Semarang. Data sources include primary and secondary data. The results of the multiple linear regression equation show that there is a positive and partially significant influence between service quality on service user interest (t-count 2.163 > t-table = 1.98447), perception of risk on service user interest (t-count = 5.657 > t-table = 1.98447 ), promotion of service user interest (t count = 4.859 > t-table = 1.98447) while the coefficient of determination gets an R square value of 0.547.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of psychological factors (X1), promotion (X2), personal (X3), and service quality (X4) on purchasing decisions (Y) using the Gojek application featuring Gofood in MagelangRegency. The research used in the preparation of this research is quantitative. The population in this study are users of the Gojek application with Gofood features, with a sample of 97. Data collection method with a questionnaire. The methods used validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, t test, and the coefficient of determination. The results of the multiple regression study showed that there was a partial positive effect of Psychological Factors on Purchasing Decisions (tcount 4.221 > ttable 1.98609), then Promotional Factors on Purchasing Decisions (tcount 2.561 > ttable 1.98609), Personal Factors on Purchase Decisions (tcount 2.400 > ttabl 1.98609), and Service Quality Factors on Purchasing Decisions (tcount 4.481 > ttable 1.98609). The influence of the four research variables is very strong with a correlation value of Adjusted R^2 = 0.626.. The results of this study indicate that psychological, promotional, personal, and service quality factors simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions using Gofood

Abstract

Indonesia, situated within the Pacific Ring of Fire, faces a high susceptibility to seismic activity. This geographical vulnerability presents significant challenges for the tourism sector, especially concerning supporting infrastructure such as hotels, resorts, tourist bridges, and public facilities. Tourist safety is not only a primary concern but also a critical element in achieving sustainable tourism development. This study explores the application of earthquake-resistant structural concepts in tourism infrastructure construction, emphasizing technical planning aspects and their relevance to destination sustainability. The methodology includes a literature review of earthquake-resistant building standards (SNI 1726:2019 and international regulations), case study analysis of tourism areas vulnerable to earthquakes in Indonesia, and an evaluation of the integration of civil engineering principles with sustainable tourism development. The findings indicate that implementing earthquake-resilient engineering not only enhances safety but also supports long-term cost efficiency, environmental protection, and improved tourist comfort. Therefore, developing earthquake-resistant tourism infrastructure is a vital strategy for maintaining Indonesia’s competitiveness in the global tourism market

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine and examine the impact of Work-Life Balance on the performance of PT Buana Samudra Lestari employees, the impact of the work environment on the performance of PT Buana Samudra Lestari employees, the impact of compensation on the performance of PT Buana Samudra Lestari employees, and the simultaneous impact of Work-Life Balance, work environment, and compensation on the performance of PT Buana Samudra Lestari employees. The sample of this quantitative study was ninety respondents. Multiple linear regression analysis was conducted using IBM SPSS Statistics. The findings of this study indicate that Work-Life Balance affects the performance of PT Buana Samudra Lestari store employees, that the work environment significantly affects the performance of PT Buana Samudra Lestari store employees, that compensation significantly affects the performance of PT Buana Samudra Lestari store employees, and that Work-Life Balance, work environment, and compensation all have an impact on the performance of PT Buana Samudra Lestari store employees at the same time.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to understand and analyze the impact of content marketing on purchasing decisions for Hanasui skincare products through the TikTok application, to understand and analyze the long-term impact of online customer reviews on purchasing decisions for Hanasui skincare products through the TikTok application, to understand and analyze the long-term impact of prices on purchasing decisions for Hanasui skincare products through the TikTok application, and to understand and analyze the impact of content marketing, online customer reviews, and prices on purchasing decisions for Hanasui skincare products through the TikTok application. This study uses a quantitative approach with a sample of 100 respondents. Data were analyzed using multiple regression line analysis using IBM SPSS Statistics. The study findings show that, directly, content marketing has a significant impact on purchasing decisions for Hanasui skincare products through the TikTok application, online customer reviews have a significant impact on purchasing decisions for Hanasui skincare products through the TikTok application, and prices have a significant impact on purchasing decisions for Hanasui skincare products through the TikTok application. In addition, content marketing, online customer reviews, and prices simultaneously influence purchasing decisions for skincare products.
