Abstract

This study aims to analyze the process of state revenue from passport and visa services at the Makassar Class I Special TPI Immigration Office and its compliance with applicable regulations, identify obstacles faced by officers in recording and reporting state revenue, and evaluate the effectiveness of the use of technology in supporting reporting that ensures accountability and transparency. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation which were then analyzed thematically to obtain a comprehensive picture of the process, obstacles, and use of technology in reporting state revenue. The results of the study indicate that the process of state revenue from passport and visa services has been carried out according to regulations, but there are administrative and technical obstacles in recording and reporting. The use of information technology is quite effective in increasing accountability and transparency in reporting, although further development is still needed.

Abstract

The growth in the number of hospitals in Indonesia and the development of hospital products and services that are increasingly developing also encourage competition in the health industry. Marketing public relations (MPR) is a strategy that can encourage purchases with trustworthy communication. MPR is able to build relationships with stakeholders, increase awareness, build brands, increase loyalty and build corporate reputation. The purpose of this research is to describe the marketing public relations tactics used by hospitals in Bandung City in building brand awareness. The method used in this research is qualitative with a descriptive study with data collection techniques of literature study, observation, and in-depth interviews with the hospital's marketing team. The results showed that hospitals use various marketing public relations (MPR) tactics to build brand awareness, namely marketing promotions, health promotions, coaching, and collaboration. The marketing public relations media used by the hospital are internal media and digital media to reach a wider public.

Abstract

This study aims to identify marketing strategies to increase Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) through advertising on TVRI North Sumatra. This study adopts a qualitative descriptive method involving five respondents as study subjects. The collected data were analyzed using the SWOT approach to identify strategic factors that examine environmental elements both from within and outside the organization identified in the realm of capabilities, deficiencies, opportunities, and challenges faced by TVRI North Sumatra. The research data shows that in the internal context, the strengths of TVRI North Sumatra are slightly greater than its weaknesses, with an IFAS score of 6.076923077 and a positive difference of 0.076923077. Meanwhile, from the external side, threats are more dominant than opportunities, with an EFAS score of 5.946153846 and a negative difference of -0.25. Based on the results of the SWOT analysis, TVRI North Sumatra's position is in Quadrant II, which indicates that despite facing various obstacles, this institution still has internal strength. Internal strengths should be used optimally to explore long-term opportunities with a product diversification strategy.

Abstract

The potential of the workforce is an important element that determines the success of an organization, especially in facing the challenges posed by globalization. Although a company has facilities and other resources that are very helpful, without competent human resources, the operational activities of the agency will not operate properly. Thus, human resource management is a crucial factor that needs to be considered. The expected achievement of this study is to examine the influence of work discipline, leadership, and work environment on employee work habits at the Medan City Research and Innovation Agency. This study is associative, which means it aims to understand the relationship between variables. This study indicates that employee performance is positively and significantly influenced by the work environment (regression coefficient 0.768; tcount 3.829 > ttable 2.0369), leadership (regression coefficient 0.419; tcount 4.459 > ​​ttable 2.0369), and work discipline (regression coefficient 0.354; tcount 3.458 > ttable 2.0369). With a significance of 0.000 < 0.05 and high Fcount, the model is declared significant at 46.147 higher than Ftable 2.72, then the three factors collectively affect performance significantly. Therefore, employee performance at the Medan City Research and Innovation Agency is positively and significantly influenced by work discipline, leadership, and work environment together.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of the digital E-Performance Attendance System, also called Aku Hadir Application, and additional income for civil servants on employee performance at the Karanganyar Regency Public Works Agency, with job satisfaction as an intervening variable. In reaction to the government's efforts to improve governance through performance-based payments, this study examines the impact of implementing an ERP-based attendance and appraisal system on worker satisfaction and productivity. By adopting a quantitative explanatory method, data was collected from 50 civil servants with the help of a structured questionnaire and then analyzed by multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS. The results show that the E-Performance system has a positive effect on performance and job satisfaction, where job satisfaction partially mediates the relationship. In contrast, additional income has no significant direct or indirect impact on performance. The results emphasize the important role of open digital performance monitoring and job satisfaction in improving the productivity of civil servants, with important implications for policy makers to better manage government human resources.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how much influence investment knowledge, risk perception, and financial management skills have on students' interest in investing at the University of Muhammadiyah Jember. In the midst of the development of the digital era, investment has become an important issue that needs to be understood by the younger generation, especially students as future investors. Therefore, this study is important to identify factors that can encourage their interest in investing. The method used in this study is quantitative with a survey approach. Data were obtained by distributing questionnaires to students who have an interest or initial understanding of investment. The research sample was 100 students majoring in management at the University of Muhammadiyah Jember using the purposive sampling method. Data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS software. The research findings show that investment knowledge and financial management significantly and positively influence students' interest in investing. Meanwhile, risk perception has a negative but still significant effect on investment interest. This means that the better a person's understanding of investment and ability to manage finances, the higher the interest in investing. Conversely, if the risk is perceived as too high, the interest in investing will decrease. This research contributes to educational institutions and financial institutions to improve financial literacy and investment among students in order to create a younger generation that is more financially literate and ready to face future economic challenges.

Abstract

The development of social media and digital technology has driven changes in shopping behavior, especially among Generation Z. TikTok Shop is present as a platform for e-commerce that combines entertainment and shopping activities through live shopping features and various discount offers. This study aims to examine each contribution of some of the variables to be tested. This study applies a quantitative type. With a population of Generation Z who shop at TikTok Shop. through purposive sampling and a survey of 100 buyers. Purposive sampling is used as a technique to obtain samples. Data will be obtained from Google Form. Then analyze it from Partial Least Squares - Structural Equation Modeling assisted by SmartPLS 3.0. The resulting discounts and live shopping contribute to shopping decisions from simultaneous or partial. The implications of the results of this study provide an understanding for business actors and digital platform managers in designing an approach to increasing marketing efficiency and in accordance with the characteristics of today's digital consumers.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Current Ratio and Working Capital Turnover on Return on Equity at PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk. Return on Equity (ROE) is a key indicator used to measure a company's efficiency in generating profits from shareholders' equity. The Current Ratio measures the company’s ability to meet its short-term obligations, while Working Capital Turnover reflects the company’s efficiency in utilizing working capital to generate revenue. This research uses a quantitative approach with descriptive and verification methods. Secondary data was obtained from the annual financial reports of PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk for a specified period. Data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS software. The results show that partially, the Current Ratio has a negative and insignificant effect on Return on Equity. Meanwhile, Working Capital Turnover has a positive and significant effect on Return on Equity. Simultaneously, both independent variables have a significant effect on Return on Equity. These findings indicate that effective working capital management contributes more to improving company profitability than liquidity alone. Therefore, the company is advised to continue improving the efficiency of working capital utilization to provide added value to shareholders through increased return on equity.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a strategic role in national economic development, including in the rapidly growing bakery sector in Banyuwangi Regency. However, in facing increasingly intense competition, many business actors continue to encounter challenges such as weak managerial capacity, low entrepreneurial competence, and suboptimal utilization of digital technology. This study aims to analyze the influence of business capability, entrepreneurial competence, and digital capability on the development of bakery businesses in Banyuwangi Regency. The research employed a quantitative approach with an explanatory research design. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 115 bakery business owners located in three districts Bangorejo, Jajag, and Purwoharjo using the total sampling technique. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression with SPSS version 20. The results show that business capability and entrepreneurial competence have a significant effect on bakery business development, while digital capability does not show a significant influence. These findings highlight the importance of strengthening managerial and entrepreneurial aspects in enhancing the competitiveness of bakery MSMEs, as well as the need for strategic assistance to optimize the integrated use of digital technology. This research provides implications for business actors, training institutions, and local governments in formulating more effective and sustainable MSME empowerment programs and policies.

Abstract

Business success is the primary goal that every company strives to achieve, with all activities focused on reaching it. In general, success reflects a condition that is better than before. MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) play a crucial role in supporting national economic growth, particularly through meeting the needs of local communities. This study aims to analyze the influence of Social Media, Creativity, and Entrepreneurial Motivation on the business success of coffee shop entrepreneurs in the Jember area. The research employs a descriptive quantitative approach with a saturated sampling method, involving 100 respondents who are MSME actors in the food and beverage sector, specifically coffee shops. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed through validity and reliability tests, multiple linear regression, as well as t-test and F-test. The results indicate that all three independent variables have a positive and significant effect on business success, both partially and simultaneously. Based on these findings, it is recommended that MSME actors actively utilize social media as a promotional tool and continue to enhance their creativity and entrepreneurial motivation through training to improve managerial and marketing capabilities.
