Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini berupa pelatihan public speaking dan pembuatan Power Point bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan guru PAUD dalam berbicara di depan umum dan memanfaatkan PowerPoint sebagai media pembelajaran yang efektif. Sasaran kegiatan ini adalah 24 orang guru PAUD dan kepala sekolah. Pelatihan dilaksanakan dengan metode ceramah, dialog interaktif, dan latihan yang diiringi sesi tanya jawab. Metode ceramah digunakan untuk menjelaskan dasar-dasar public speaking dan pembuatan Power Point, sedangkan latihan memberikan kesempatan peserta untuk mempraktikkan keterampilan tersebut. Metode dialog interaktif dan tanya jawab memungkinkan peserta berkonsultasi tentang kendala yang dihadapi. Kegiatan ini didukung oleh tim dosen Ilmu Komunikasi, antusiasme peserta, dan fasilitas dari kelurahan setempat. Kendala yang dihadapi antara lain kurangnya pengetahuan awal peserta tentang public speaking dan Power Point serta keterbatasan waktu. Manfaat yang diperoleh peserta antara lain kemampuan menyusun pidato, teknik berbicara yang baik, dan membuat media pembelajaran berbasis Power Point yang lebih menarik dan efektif.

Abstract

This article explores a podcast training initiative as a form of empowerment for diaspora women within the “Ibu Profesional Regional Asia” (IP Asia) community. This community comprises Indonesian women living across various Asian countries, with diverse backgrounds as wives, mothers, and professionals. A situational analysis reveals that diaspora women often face challenges such as social isolation, limited access to non-formal education, and gender stereotypes that hinder their participation in digital technology. In response to these issues, a community engagement program was conducted, offering basic podcast training with a specific focus on the introduction and practical use of Audacity software. The training was held online and attended by active members of IP Asia, particularly from the “Rumah Bermain Public Speaking & Broadcasting”. The results indicate that participants not only acquired fundamental technical skills in podcasting but also experienced increased confidence in self-expression and creative engagement in digital public spaces. This initiative contributed to expanding creative participation opportunities for diaspora women and supported community capacity building through voice-based media. The program highlights the importance of community-based and needs-driven approaches in empowering women in the digital era.

Abstract

Transformasi digital Indonesia menuntut penguatan literasi digital lintas segmen masyarakat. Penelitian ini mendokumentasikan implementasi webinar “Indonesia Makin Cakap Digital” sebagai narasumber, dengan fokus pada rancangan, pelaksanaan, luaran, serta pembelajaran yang selaras dengan 4 Pilar literasi digital yaitu Cakap, Aman, Budaya, dan Etika. Kurikulum 4 Pilar disusun dari modul resmi lalu dikontekstualisasikan dalam paparan dalam pelatihan dalam bentuk webinar. Pelaksanaan webinar dilakukan 2 kali oleh penulis pada September 2021 dan Juni 2022. Alur pelatihan dimulai dari pendaftaran, presensi, dan penilaian terintegrasi pada Event Management System (EMS). Narasumber atau penulis juga sudah lulusan TOT dari Kominfo. Sedang alur webinar mengikuti standar nasional. Luaran yang dikompilasi meliputi daftar hadir berikut skor pascates, dokumentasi foto atau rekaman, video rangkuman 3 menit dengan CTA, serta siaran pers dari pihak eksternal. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan penguatan pemahaman 4 Pilar dari peserta. Pada khususnya keamanan digital dan kesiapan bertindak preventif. Praktik pembuatan konten yang lebih aman, beretika, dan relevan dengan kebutuhan lokal juga dipaparkan. Pembelajaran kunci meliputi pentingnya desain pelatihan berbasis kebutuhan, metode partisipatif dengan praktik langsung, dan integrasi aspek keamanan dan etika selain keterampilan teknis. Model webinar Makin Cakap Digital efektif, skalabel, dan replikatif lintas wilayah bila dipadu pendampingan pasca-pelatihan dan pelibatan multipihak.

Abstract

Stunting merupakan gambaran status gizi kurang yang bersifat kronik pada masa pertumbuhan dan perkembangan sejak awal kehidupan. Stunting merupakan masalah gizi yang cukup serius di Indonesia, yang dapat berdampak jangka panjang terhadap pertumbuhan fisik dan perkembangan kognitif anak. Berdasarkan data, banyak anak di Indonesia yang mengalami kekurangan gizi pada usia dini, yang dapat menghambat perkembangan optimal mereka. Berdasarkan Studi Kesehatan Dasar 2018 bahwa persentase stunting di Indonesia sebanyak 30,8%. Salah satu faktor utama penyebab stunting adalah asupan gizi yang tidak seimbang dan kurangnya pengetahuan orang tua dalam menyediakan makanan yang bergizi untuk anak-anak mereka. Salah satu cara yang efektif untuk meningkatkan kualitas gizi anak adalah dengan memberikan bekal makan siang yang bergizi setiap harinya. Salah satu bentuk makanan penting dalam makanan sehari-hari masyarakat Jepang adalah “bento”. "Bento" merujuk pada kotak makan siang yang biasanya berisi porsi makan lengkap seperti nasi, lauk, sayuran, dan kadang-kadang buah. Pembuatan bento dapat membantu orang tua untuk memastikan anak-anak mendapatkan nutrisi yang cukup dan seimbang.

Abstract

This community service program aims to improve the quality of education through in-depth learning training for teachers in South Sulawesi. The program is implemented by the South Sulawesi Teacher Training Center in collaboration with universities, with the main target being teachers at various levels of education. The methods used to carry out the activities include interactive lectures, group discussions, learning simulations, and assistance in developing collaborative inquiry-based learning plans. The training material focused on strengthening growth mindset, deep learning frameworks, learning planning and implementation, assessment, and reflection on pedagogical practices. The results of the activity showed an increase in teachers' understanding and skills in designing and implementing meaningful, conscious, and enjoyable learning. In addition, teachers are better able to holistically integrate aspects of thinking, feeling, tasting, and exercising in the teaching and learning process. Thus, this training contributes to improving teacher professionalism and is one of the effective strategies in efforts to improve the quality of education in South Sulawesi.

Abstract

The hospitality industry faces challenges in improving staff performance to maintain optimal service standards. This Community Service Program (PKM) aimed to enhance the quality and performance of Hotel Morissey Jakarta staff through training in technical skills and soft skills. The methods used in this program included interactive training, group discussions, and case studies relevant to the hospitality industry. This program involved 25 participants from various departments, and the results indicated a significant improvement in their understanding of time management, conflict resolution, and effective work strategies. Evaluation results showed that 85% of participants gained new insights applicable to their daily tasks. Additionally, the collaboration between academia and the industry in this training opened opportunities for further partnerships in hospitality human resource development. This program demonstrated that a practice-based and participatory training approach effectively enhances staff skills and work motivation. For sustainable results, continuous training and evaluation are needed to ensure ongoing improvements in hospitality service quality

Abstract

The issue of food waste in Linggoasri Village remains high due to the lack of an adequate management system, which has the potential to cause environmental disturbances. This community service activity aims to introduce and implement Biopori technology as a solution to reduce organic waste accumulation and produce useful compost. The methods used included observation, lectures, discussions, and hands-on practice in making Biopori with the involvement of the Women Farmers Group. The results of the activity demonstrated an increase in the community's understanding of the function of Biopori and the construction of Biopori holes, which serve as a means of water absorption, organic waste decomposition, and compost production. The application of Biopori has proven effective as a simple and practical technology in addressing household organic waste issues. Moving forward, the community is expected to routinely manage organic waste through Biopori to ensure its benefits are sustainable

Abstract

Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan pemasaran produk UMKM di Dusun Besek, Desa Hargomulyo melalui pelatihan digital marketing sebagai bagian dari implementasi Program PPK Ormawa Universitas PGRI Madiun. Metodologi yang digunakan meliputi pendekatan deskriptif dengan tahapan persiapan, pengumpulan data, pelatihan, pendampingan, dan evaluasi. Data diperoleh melalui observasi dan wawancara yang dianalisis secara tematik. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan pelaku UMKM dalam memanfaatkan media sosial (Instagram, TikTok, WhatsApp Business) dan marketplace (Shopee) sebagai sarana promosi. Peserta juga mampu membuat konten digital yang lebih menarik dan mulai beralih dari pemasaran konvensional menuju strategi kombinasi offline–online. Selain itu, pelatihan turut meningkatkan kepercayaan diri pelaku UMKM dalam mengelola pemasaran digital secara mandiri. Rekomendasi yang diberikan mencakup perlunya pendampingan berkelanjutan, peningkatan fasilitas digital, serta pelatihan lanjutan terkait manajemen usaha dan inovasi produk.

Abstract

Abstrak Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kesiapan angkatan kerja muda dalam membangun identitas profesional, terutama dalam menghadapi tantangan dunia kerja yang semakin kompetitif di era digital. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan generasi muda dalam membangun personal branding yang efektif melalui pelatihan interaktif. Metode pelaksanaan mencakup penyampaian materi, diskusi, praktik langsung, dan simulasi wawancara kerja, penyusunan CV, serta pembuatan profil LinkedIn profesional. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dalam empat pertemuan dengan pendekatan partisipatif dan aplikatif. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam skor post-test peserta dibandingkan pre-test, dari rata-rata 86,87 menjadi 92. Peserta juga menunjukkan perubahan positif dalam membangun dokumen profesional serta kehadiran digital. Antusiasme peserta dan respon mitra menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan ini tepat sasaran dan berdampak langsung. Kegiatan ini terbukti mampu menjembatani kesenjangan antara teori personal branding dan praktik kesiapan kerja generasi muda. Diperlukan keberlanjutan program dengan cakupan yang lebih luas serta pengembangan materi lanjutan seperti portofolio digital dan soft skills. Kata kunci : Personal Branding, Kesiapan Kerja, Identitas Profesional, Angkatan Kerja Muda, Pengembangan Karir Abstract This Community Service activity was motivated by the low level of readiness among young workers in building their professional identity, especially in facing the challenges of an increasingly competitive job market in the digital age. The purpose of this activity was to improve the understanding and skills of the younger generation in building effective personal branding through interactive training. The implementation methods included material delivery, discussions, hands-on practice, and job interview simulations, CV preparation, and professional LinkedIn profile creation. The activity was carried out in four meetings with a participatory and applicative approach. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in the participants' post-test scores compared to the pre-test, from an average of 86.87 to 92. Participants also showed positive changes in developing professional documents and digital presence. The enthusiasm of the participants and the response of partners indicate that this activity was on target and had a direct impact. This activity has proven to be able to bridge the gap between personal branding theory and the practical work readiness of the younger generation. There is a need for program continuity with broader coverage and the development of advanced materials such as digital portfolios and soft skills. Abstract

This community service activity aims to increase educators' and students' understanding of the concept of deep learning as a strategic approach in efforts to improve the quality of education. Deep learning is considered important because it emphasizes conceptual understanding, the development of critical and reflective thinking skills, and the relevance of learning to real-life contexts. This activity was conducted in the form of an online seminar via the Zoom Meeting platform on November 26, 2025. There were 178 participants consisting of students, educators, and the general public from various universities and educational institutions in South Sulawesi and its surroundings. The methods used in this activity included the delivery of material by speakers who are competent in the field of education, interactive discussions between the speakers and participants, as well as reflections and feedback from participants on the material presented. The seminar material focused on the basic concepts of deep learning, its urgency in responding to current educational challenges, and its differences from conventional learning, which is still oriented towards memorization. The interactive discussion provided a space for participants to ask questions, share experiences, and reflect on the learning practices that have been implemented so far. The results of the activity showed an increase in participants' conceptual understanding of deep learning and an increased awareness of the importance of critical, reflective, contextual, and meaningful learning. The enthusiasm and active participation of the participants during the activity were indicators of the success of this community service program. This activity is expected to make a real contribution to strengthening the capacity of educators and students and encouraging their readiness to implement deep learning sustainably in the educational environment.
