Abstract

Abstract: This research is based on the teacher's strategy in managing class IV students at SDN 22 Muara Tanjung. The aim of the research is to detelmine teachers' strategies in managing class IV students at SDN 22 Muara Tanjung. The research method uses qualitative with a qualitative descriptive approach. The research subject was a foulth grade teacher at SD Negeri 22 Muara Tanjung. The object of research is teacher strategies in classroom management. Data collection techniques use intelviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis includes data reduction, data exposure and drawing conclusions. Checking the validity of the data uses triangulation techniques. The results of research on teacher strategies in classroom management show that the fourth grade teacher at SD Negeri 22 Muara Tanjung organizes the learning environment by creating a classroom that is fun and conducive to learning activities. Class teachers apply varied leaming strategies and use learning tools. Teachers regulate behavior and provide motivation to students in forming good attitudes and behavior of students in class IV in leaming, such as giving warnings and advice to students who dislupt the leaming process during leaming. The conclusion of the research is that the teacher's strategy in classroom management is to organize the leaming environment, implement varied leaming strategies, use leaming tools and provide motivation. Keywords: Strategy, Teacher, Classroom Management Abstrak: Penelitian ini didasari oleh strategi guru dalam pengelolaan kelas siswa kelas IV di SDN 22 Muara Tanjung. Tujuan penelitian mengetahui strategi guru dalam pengelolaan kelas siswa kelas IV di SDN 22 Muara Tanjung. Metode penelitian menggunakan kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriftif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian guru kelas IV SD Negeri 22 Muara Tanjung. Objek penelitian strategi guru dalam pengelolaan kelas. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisis data meliputi reduksi data, paparan data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Pengecekan keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi teknik. Hasil penelitian tentang strategi guru dalam pengelolaan kelas diketahui bahwa guru kelas IV SD Negeri 22 Muara Tanjung menata lingkungan belajar dengan menciptakan ruangan kelas yang menyenangkan dan kondusif bagi kegiatan pembelajaran. Guru kelas menerapkan strategi pembelajaran yang bervariasi dan menggunakan perangkat pembelajaran. Guru mengatur perilaku dan memberikan motivasi kepada siswa dalam membentuk sikap dan perilaku siswa yang baik di kelas IV dalam belajar seperti memberikan teguran dan nasehat kepada siswa yang mengganggu proses belajar pada saat pembelajaran berlangsung. Kesimpulan hasil penelitian adalah strategi guru dalam pengelolaan kelas adalah menata lingkungan belajar, menerapkan strategi pembelajaran yang bervariasi, menggunakan perangkat pembelajaran dan memberikan motivasi. Abstract

Abstract: This study was motivated by the increasing addiction to online games among students and its impact on learning outcomes. The research aimed to describe the influence of online gaming on fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 01 Nanga Pinoh. The study employed a descriptive qualitative method, with the main subjects being fourth-grade students and supporting subjects being classroom teachers. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the level of online game addiction among students was still within a reasonable range and could be managed through teacher guidance. However, some students experienced a decline in learning outcomes and reduced interest in studying due to excessive gaming. Teachers played an active role by providing advice and education to encourage responsible gaming behavior. In conclusion, online gaming has an influence on the learning outcomes of elementary school students. Keywords: Addiction, Online Games, Learning Outcomes. Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh meningkatnya kecanduan bermain game online di kalangan siswa dan pengaruhnya terhadap hasil belajar. Tujuan penelitian untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh game online terhadap siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 01 Nanga Pinoh. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan subjek utama siswa kelas IV dan subjek pendukung guru kelas. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kecanduan bermain game online siswa masih tergolong wajar dan dapat dikendalikan melalui bimbingan guru. Namun, beberapa siswa mengalami penurunan hasil belajar serta berkurangnya minat belajar akibat terlalu sering bermain game. Guru berperan aktif dengan memberikan nasihat dan edukasi agar siswa dapat menggunakan game secara bijak. Kesimpulannya, penggunaan game online memiliki pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa sekolah dasar. Kata Kunci: Kecanduan, Game Online, Hasil Belajar

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the teacher’s efforts in implementing school rules for fourth-grade students at SDN 15 Emang Raya. The research uses a qualitative descriptive method. The subjects of the study include the classroom teacher, principal, and fourth-grade students, while the object is the teacher’s efforts in enforcing student discipline. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, using observation sheets, interview guides, and documentation forms as instruments. Data analysis involved data collection, reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing, while data validity was tested through source and technique triangulation. The results show that teachers play active roles as educators, instructors, guides, mentors, trainers, and evaluators in implementing student discipline. These efforts include fostering responsibility, orderliness, punctuality, and cleanliness. Overall, the implementation of school rules has been effective; however, the aspects of mentoring and training students still need to be improved. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan jenis deskriptif. Subjek penelitian meliputi guru kelas, kepala sekolah, serta siswa kelas IV, sedangkan objek penelitian adalah upaya guru dalam penerapan tata tertib siswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi dengan instrumen berupa lembar observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tahap pengumpulan, reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan, sedangkan keabsahan data diuji menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru berperan aktif sebagai pendidik, pengajar, pengarah, pembimbing, pelatih, dan evaluator dalam menerapkan tata tertib siswa. Upaya tersebut meliputi pembiasaan tanggung jawab, ketertiban, kedisiplinan, dan kebersihan. Secara keseluruhan, penerapan tata tertib berjalan efektif, namun pembimbingan dan pelatihan siswa masih perlu ditingkatkan. Kata Kunci: Upaya Guru, Tata Tertib, dan Siswa Sekolah Dasar.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the early reading skills of lower-grade students at SD Negeri 09 Tanjung Lay. Early reading is the fundamental stage in the process of learning to read in elementary school, serving as an essential foundation for mastering other language skills. This research employed a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The subjects consisted of one teacher and 18 first-grade students. Data were collected through observation and interviews focusing on students’ reading abilities. The results showed that out of 18 students, 13 were able to read fluently without spelling out words, while 5 students still faced difficulties in recognizing letters, distinguishing between uppercase and lowercase letters, and remembering words in a text. The main factors contributing to these reading difficulties included delayed letter recognition and limited reading instruction time at school. The teacher played an active role in addressing these challenges through repeated reading activities, providing individualized reading materials, and extending reading practice time. The study concludes that the early reading ability of students at SDN 09 Tanjung Lay is generally good, although more varied teaching strategies and parental involvement are needed to further support students’ reading development. Keywords: Reading Ability, Early Reading, Elementary School Students. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa kelas rendah di SD Negeri 09 Tanjung Lay. Membaca permulaan merupakan tahap dasar dalam proses belajar membaca di sekolah dasar yang menjadi fondasi penting bagi penguasaan keterampilan berbahasa lainnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas satu orang guru dan 18 siswa kelas I. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi dan wawancara yang berfokus pada kemampuan membaca siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari 18 siswa, 13 siswa telah mampu membaca lancar tanpa mengeja, sedangkan 5 siswa lainnya masih mengalami kesulitan mengenali huruf, membedakan huruf besar dan kecil, serta mengingat kata dalam bacaan. Faktor penyebab utama kesulitan membaca permulaan di antaranya keterlambatan pengenalan huruf dan keterbatasan waktu pembelajaran membaca di sekolah. Guru berperan aktif dalam mengatasi kesulitan tersebut melalui kegiatan membaca berulang, pemberian bahan bacaan individual, serta penambahan jam belajar membaca. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa di SDN 09 Tanjung Lay tergolong baik, namun masih diperlukan strategi pembelajaran yang bervariasi serta keterlibatan orang tua untuk mendukung keberhasilan siswa dalam belajar membaca. Abstract

Abstract: The research was motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in PKN subjects. The aim of the research is to determine the improvement in student learning outcomes using an explicit model of instruction in class IV of SD Negeri 01 Kiham Batang. The research method uses classroom action research with the Kemmis Mc Taggart model. This type of research uses empirical classroom action research. The research procedure includes four stages, namely: planning, action, observation and reflection. The research subjects were 6 class IV students at SD Negeri 01 Kiham Batang, consisting of 3 boys and 3 girls. The research object improves student learning outcomes using explicit instruction models. Data collection techniques is tests, observations and documentation. The research instrument used essay question sheets and lesson plan implementation sheets. The criteria for research success are reaching 85% of student scores above 70 (KKM). The research results show that using an explicit instruction model can improve student learning outcomes in class IV students at SD Negeri 01 Kiham Batang. The results of the research in cycle 1 were 3 students who completed with a percentage of 50% and 3 students who did not complete with a percentage of 50%. The results of the research in the second cycle of students who completed were 6 people with a percentage of 100%. The research results show that there is an increase in student learning outcomes in each cycle. The research conclusion is that the use of the Explicit Instruction model can improve student learning outcomes in PKn learning. Keywords: Explicit Instruction Model, Student Learning Outcomes, PKn. Abstrak: Penelitian didasari rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran PKN. Tujuan penelitian mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa menggunakan model explicit instruction di kelas IV SD Negeri 01 Kiham Batang. Metode penelitian menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan model Kemmis Mc Taggart. Jenis penelitian menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas empiris. Prosedur penelitian meliputi empat tahapan, yaitu: perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian siswa kelas IV yang berjumlah 6 orang. Objek penelitian meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa menggunakan model explicit instruction. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes, observasi dan dokumentasi. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan lembar soal dan lembar keterlaksanaan RPP. Hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa dengan menggunakan model explicit instruction dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 01 Kiham Batang. Hasil penelitian pada siklus 1 siswa yang tuntas sebanyak 3 orang dengan persentase sebesar 50% dan siswa yang tidak tuntas sebanyak 3 orang dengan persentase sebesar 50%. Hasil penelitian pada siklus II siswa yang tuntas sebanyak 6 orang dengan persentase sebesar 100%. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan terjadinya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada setiap siklusnya. Kesimpulannya adalah penggunaan model explicit instruction dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran PKn. Kata Kunci: Model Explicit Instruction, Hasil Belajar Siswa, PKn.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to improve students’ speaking skills through the implementation of the storytelling method in Indonesian language learning for third-grade students at SD Negeri 13 Meligai. The research employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) using the Kemmis and McTaggart model, conducted in two cycles consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The subjects were nine students. Data were collected through speaking skill tests, observations, and documentation, and analyzed using descriptive quantitative and qualitative methods. The results showed an improvement in students’ speaking skills from cycle I to cycle II. The average score increased from 67.22 with 55.6% mastery to 81.11 with 88.9% mastery. Therefore, the storytelling method proved effective in enhancing students’ speaking skills, particularly in aspects of confidence, fluency, and vocabulary use. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa melalui penerapan metode storytelling dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di kelas III SD Negeri 13 Meligai. Penelitian menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) model Kemmis dan McTaggart yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, masing-masing meliputi tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas 9 siswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes keterampilan berbicara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan berbicara siswa dari siklus I ke siklus II. Nilai rata-rata meningkat dari 67,22 dengan ketuntasan 55,6% menjadi 81,11 dengan ketuntasan 88,9%. Dengan demikian, penerapan metode storytelling terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa, terutama dalam aspek keberanian, kelancaran berbicara, dan penggunaan kosakata. Abstract

Abstract: This study aimed to determine the effect of the Jigsaw cooperative learning model on the mathematical communication skills of third-grade students at SDN 16 Landau Siling. The research was motivated by students’ low mathematical communication skills, particularly their lack of confidence in expressing mathematical ideas both orally and in writing. This study employed a quantitative approach with an experimental method using a one-group pretest–posttest design. The population consisted of all 18 third-grade students at SDN 16 Landau Siling, selected using a saturated sampling technique. The instrument used was a questionnaire measuring mathematical communication skills. Data were analyzed using the Method of Successive Interval (MSI), the Shapiro–Wilk normality test, and a paired sample t-test. The results showed that the average pretest score was 67.72, while the average posttest score was 78.66. The normality test indicated that the data were normally distributed. The paired sample t-test yielded a sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.004 < 0.05, indicating that Ha was accepted and H0 was rejected. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Jigsaw cooperative learning model has a significant effect on students’ mathematical communication skills. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa kelas III SDN 16 Landau Siling. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa, seperti kurangnya keberanian dalam menyampaikan ide-ide matematika baik secara lisan maupun tertulis. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian eksperimen menggunakan desain one group pretest–posttest. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas III SDN 16 Landau Siling yang berjumlah 18 orang, dengan teknik sampling jenuh. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa angket kemampuan komunikasi matematis. Analisis data dilakukan melalui transformasi Method of Successive Interval (MSI), uji normalitas Shapiro–Wilk, dan uji hipotesis menggunakan paired sample t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa skor rata-rata pretest sebesar 67,72 dan skor rata-rata posttest sebesar 78,66. Hasil uji normalitas menunjukkan bahwa data berdistribusi normal. Hasil uji paired sample t-test menunjukkan nilai sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,004 < 0,05, sehingga Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa kelas III SDN 16 Landau Siling. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the enforcement of school rules as a means of moral education at State Elementary School 27 Kenual, Melawi Regency. The research employed a qualitative method with a descriptive qualitative approach. The research subjects included the principal, teachers, and students. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, then analyzed using the stages of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, and their validity was tested through technique triangulation. The results show that the enforcement of school rules at SDN 27 Kenual has been implemented consistently and in a structured manner. Teachers play an active role in supervising, reprimanding, and providing educational sanctions, such as requiring students who arrive late to clean the school yard. Teachers’ exemplary discipline further strengthens students’ character formation. The main supporting factors are teacher consistency and parental support, while the inhibiting factors include the low awareness of some students and environmental influences. It is concluded that school rules are effective as a means of moral education, but they still need to be strengthened through synergy among the school, parents, and the community. ABSTRAK: Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis penegakan tata tertib sekolah sebagai sarana pendidikan moral di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 27 Kenual, Kabupaten Melawi. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian meliputi kepala sekolah, guru, dan siswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis dengan tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan, serta diuji keabsahannya melalui triangulasi teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penegakan tata tertib di SDN 27 Kenual telah dilaksanakan secara konsisten dan terstruktur. Guru berperan aktif dalam mengawasi, menegur, dan memberikan sanksi yang bersifat mendidik, seperti membersihkan halaman sekolah bagi siswa yang terlambat. Keteladanan guru dalam bersikap disiplin turut memperkuat pembentukan karakter siswa. Faktor pendukung utama ialah konsistensi guru dan dukungan orang tua, sedangkan faktor penghambat meliputi rendahnya kesadaran sebagian siswa dan pengaruh lingkungan. Disimpulkan bahwa tata tertib efektif sebagai sarana pendidikan moral, namun masih perlu diperkuat melalui sinergi sekolah, orang tua, dan masyarakat. Kata Kunci: Tata Tertib, Pendidikan, Moral.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aimed to describe strategies for preventing verbal bullying behavior at SDN 1 Nanga Pinoh. The research employed a qualitative method with a descriptive approach and used a case study design. The main subject of the study was the third-grade classroom teacher, while the supporting subjects were third-grade students and the school principal. The object of the study was strategies for preventing verbal bullying behavior in an elementary school. Data were collected through interviews and observations using interview guides and observation sheets as research instruments. The validity of the data was ensured through technique triangulation and source triangulation. The results showed that the strategies for preventing verbal bullying at SDN 1 Nanga Pinoh consisted of several efforts. Preventive efforts included early detection of bullying behavior, providing education, and creating a positive school environment by establishing strict anti-bullying rules. Promotive efforts were carried out by providing good role models and teaching students how to stand up against bullying. Repressive efforts involved imposing sanctions on perpetrators and implementing disciplinary actions. Curative efforts included providing support for victims and conducting mediation between victims and perpetrators. In addition, efforts to increase self-confidence were made by helping victims of verbal bullying improve their self-esteem and their ability to defend themselves. In conclusion, the prevention of verbal bullying behavior at SDN 1 Nanga Pinoh is implemented through a combination of preventive, promotive, repressive, and curative strategies. Keywords: Teacher Strategy, Prevention, Verbal Bully. Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian mendeskripsikan strategi pencegahan perilaku bully vebal di SDN 1 Nanga Pinoh. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Jenis penelitian studi kasus. Subjek utama penelitian guru kelas III. Subjek pendukung siswa kelas III dan kepala sekolah. Objek penelitian strategi pencegahan perilaku bully verbal di Sekolah Dasar. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara dan obsevasi. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan lembar wawancara dan lembar observasi. Pengecekan keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi teknik dan sumber. Hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa strategi dalam mencegah perilaku bullying vebal di SDN 1 Nanga Pinoh dengan upaya preventif seperti mendeteksi tindakan bullying sejak dini, memberikan edukasi dan membangun lingkungan sekolah yang positif dengan membuat peraturan yang tegas tentang bullying. Upaya promotif dengan memberikan teladan atau contoh yang baik dalam mengatasi bullying mengajarkan siswa untuk melawan bullying. Upaya represif yaitu melibatkan sanksi bagi pelaku dan tindakan disiplin. Upaya kuratif dengan memberikan dukungan pada korban, mediasi bagi korban dan pelaku. Peningkatan kepercayaan diri dengan membantu siswa yang menjadi korban bullying verbal untuk meningkatkan kepercayaan diri dan kemampuannya untuk membela diri. Kesimpulan penelitian stategi pencegahan perilaku bullying verbal di SDN 1 Nanga Pinoh dengan berbagai upaya preventif, represif, dan kuratif. Kata Kunci: Strategi Guru, Pencegahan, Bully Verbal.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the relationship between the school and the community in the learning process at SD Negeri 16 Landau Siling, Sayan District, Melawi Regency. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach with participants consisting of the principal, teachers, students’ parents, and community leaders selected purposively. Data were collected through questionnaires, in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation, and were analyzed interactively through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was ensured through triangulation of sources, techniques, and time. The results show that the relationship between the school and parents as well as the community is socially good, but it has not yet been structured and sustained institutionally. Communication remains reactive and focuses mainly on academic aspects, while learning support at home has not developed into comprehensive pedagogical assistance. School–community collaboration is still incidental and has not been supported by formal partnership programs. This study emphasizes the importance of strengthening planned and sustainable partnerships to improve the quality of learning.Keywords: School and Community Relations, Learning Process. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan sekolah dengan masyarakat dalam proses pembelajaran di SD Negeri 16 Landau Siling, Kecamatan Sayan, Kabupaten Melawi. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan subjek kepala sekolah, guru, orang tua siswa, dan tokoh masyarakat yang dipilih secara purposive. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket, wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi, serta dianalisis secara interaktif melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Keabsahan data dijaga melalui triangulasi sumber, teknik, dan waktu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hubungan sekolah dengan orang tua dan masyarakat tergolong baik secara sosial, tetapi belum terstruktur dan berkelanjutan secara kelembagaan. Komunikasi masih bersifat reaktif dan berfokus pada aspek akademik, sementara dukungan pembelajaran di rumah belum berkembang menjadi pendampingan pedagogis yang komprehensif. Kolaborasi sekolah–masyarakat masih insidental dan belum didukung program kemitraan resmi. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya penguatan kemitraan yang terencana dan berkelanjutan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran.Kata Kunci: Hubungan Sekolah dan Masyarakat, Proses Pembelajaran.
