Abstract

This study aims to map the impact of Augmented reality in biology learning and to identify factors influencing variations in research findings. The study employed a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method following the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines. Research data were collected from Google Scholar and Scopus databases with a publication range from 2020 to 2025. The data collection process involved article identification, duplicate removal, title and abstract screening, and full-text review using the Covidence software. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and thematic synthesis of studies that met the inclusion criteria. The results show that among the 18 analyzed studies, 15 studies reported positive effects of Augmented reality on students’ conceptual understanding, while 3 studies showed limited effects. The findings also indicate that the effectiveness of Augmented reality is influenced by several factors, including three-dimensional visualization, students’ motivation and engagement, teachers’ roles, ease of technology use, and technological infrastructure support. Therefore, Augmented reality has strong potential as an innovative learning medium that can enhance conceptual understanding in biology learning.

Abstract

This study evaluates the effectiveness of Quran tahfizh programs in three integrated Islamic high schools (SMAIT) in Palopo City (Insan Madani, Ibnu Sina, Wahdah Islamiyah) using the CIPP model, addressing challenges like time constraints, informal curricula, and varying student abilities in regular classes. The objective is to comprehensively and comparatively assess context, input, process, and product aspects. A qualitative evaluative-comparative approach was employed, with the population comprising program stakeholders and purposive samples including principals, tahfizh teachers, and students. Instruments of interviews, observations, and documentation were analyzed via Miles and Huberman's interactive model with triangulation. Findings reveal very good context and process, adequate input and product; SMAIT Wahdah Islamiyah excels across aspects. It is concluded that the program is overall effective but requires curriculum and facility improvements.

Abstract

This study is motivated by concerns over the moral degradation of adolescents, making the internalization of religious values an essential need in educational institutions. The study aims to describe the processes of externalization, objectivation, and internalization of students’ religious character through schoolculture from the perspective of Berger and Luckmann’s social construction theory. A descriptive qualitative method was employed using a case study and phenomenological approach, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that the internalization of religious character at SMAN 3 Purwokerto is effectively implemented through routine activities such as Qur’anic literacy, congregational prayers, almsgiving, and religious organizations. Religious values are expressed by the school community, institutionalized into binding rules and traditions, and ultimately internalized by students, shaping disciplined, obedient, and responsible character traits. This study emphasizes that school culture based on social construction plays a significant role in fostering sustainable religious character development among students in public schools.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between scientific attitude and science process skills of fifth-grade students in Islamic elementary schools in the West Ungaran District. The study uses a quantitative approach with a correlational method, designed to test the relationship between two variables in an educational phenomenon. Data were collected through scientific attitude questionnaires and science process skills tests that had met validity and reliability criteria. Data analysis was carried out using the Pearson Product Moment correlation test. The analysis results show a correlation coefficient of 0.245 with a significance value of 0.006 (< 0.05). These findings indicate a positive and significant relationship between scientific attitude and science process skills, thus the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. Based on the guidelines for interpreting correlation coefficients, the value of 0.245 falls into the weak relationship category. Thus, it can be concluded that scientific attitude has a positive relationship with students' science process skills, although the level of the relationship is considered low.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education learning, especially the subject of Aqidah Akhlak, has a strategic role in fostering the behavior of students in madrasas. The phenomenon of student delinquency that is still found in the Madrasah Tsanawiyah environment shows the need to strengthen a learning approach that is not only oriented to cognitive aspects, but also to the formation of attitudes and morals. This study aims to analyze the role of Aqidah Akhlak learning in fostering student behavior and identify strategies used by teachers in overcoming student delinquency. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type of research. Data collection techniques are carried out through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study show that learning Aqidah Akhlak plays a role as a preventive and curative approach in fostering student behavior through teacher examples, habituation of moral values, personal approach, and strengthening faith and moral values in students' daily lives. Learning Aqidah Akhlak not only functions as a transfer of religious knowledge, but also as a means of building sustainable Islamic character. This finding confirms the importance of strengthening the learning of Aqidah Akhlak in Islamic Religious Education as the foundation for fostering the behavior and character of students in madrasas.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of teachers as motivators, guides, and facilitators in developing children's self-awareness, as well as to portray the condition of self-awareness among early childhood students at RA Annisa 2 Palangka Raya. The background of this study is based on initial observations indicating that some children had not demonstrated independence in choosing activities, had difficulty controlling emotions, lacked self-confidence, had not consistently followed rules and discipline, showed little persistence, and lacked pride in their own abilities. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach. Research informants consisted of one Class A teacher, the school principal, and 18 Class A children. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, with source triangulation and technique triangulation applied to ensure data validity. The findings indicate that teachers carried out their roles in three forms: (1) as a motivator, by providing praise, star rewards, and verbal reinforcement; (2) as a guide, by offering direct instruction and persuasive guidance to children experiencing difficulties; and (3) as a facilitator, by providing varied learning media such as emotion cards and rule boards, and by creating a safe and conducive classroom environment. Children's self-awareness development was observed across aspects of independent activity selection, emotional regulation, self-confidence, adherence to rules and discipline, persistence, and pride in their own work. These findings suggest that the active integration of teacher roles is closely associated with the development of self-awareness as a foundation for children's social-emotional intelligence.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the suboptimal writing skills of fourth grade elementary school students. The purpose of this study was to develop a Quartet Card media design using the Think Talk Write method, to test its feasibility, and to test its effectiveness in improving fourth grade students' procedural text writing skills at Jatisari Elementary School. The research used was Research and Development (R&D). The development model used refers to the Borg and Gall model, simplified into eight stages: 1) research and information gathering; 2) planning; 3) developing the initial product; 4) limited testing; 5) revising the initial product; 6) field testing or large-scale testing; 7) revising the final product; 8) dissemination and implementation. Data collection techniques include tests (pretest and posttest) and non-tests (observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation). Data analysis techniques consist of initial data analysis using the Normality test and final data analysis using the paired sample t-test and the N-Gain test. The results of the feasibility test obtained a percentage of assessments from material expert validators of 98.3% and media experts of 95%, so it is categorized as very feasible. The effectiveness of the Quartet Card media through the Think Talk Write method is proven through a T test which shows a significance value of 0.000 (p <0.005) which means there is a significant difference between the ability to write procedural texts before and after treatment, in addition the N-Gain value also shows a value of 0.6389 on a small scale and 0.6976 on a large scale which indicates a moderate category. From these results, it can be concluded that the Quartet Card media through the Think Talk Write method is stated to be very feasible to use in learning to write procedural texts. Thus, the development of Quartet Card media through the Think Talk Write method is feasible and effective for improving the procedural text writing skills of fourth-grade students at Jatisari Elementary School.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has brought significant changes to the interaction patterns and behavior of adolescents, including in moral and moral aspects. An open and minimal control digital environment has the potential to affect the formation of students' character, thus demanding the active role of educators in moral development. This study aims to analyze the role of Akidah Akhlak teachers in fostering the morals of female students in the digital era at SMA Majlis Tafsir Al-Qur'an Surakarta. This research uses a qualitative approach with a type of field research. Data was obtained through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation, then analyzed using data reduction techniques, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results of the study show that Akidah Akhlak teachers play a role as value educators, moral role models, spiritual guides, and social controllers in facing the challenges of the digital era. The coaching strategy is carried out through strengthening moral materials, habituating religious behavior, personal approach to students, and supervision of the use of digital media. Moral development is not only carried out in the classroom, but also through religious activities and character development in the school environment. This research emphasizes that the role of Akidah Akhlak teachers is becoming increasingly strategic in the digital era, because it not only transmits religious knowledge, but also forms moral awareness and character resilience of students in facing social and technological challenges.

Abstract

The low level of decision-making ability among Madrasah Ibtidaiyah students indicates the need for a learning approach that provides decision-making experiences which do not only emphasize physical aspects, but also develop the ability to think quickly and accurately. One relevant alternative is the use of the traditional game Rangku Alu combined with the cooperative learning model Teams Games Tournament (TGT). This study aims to describe the implementation of the Rangku Alu game based on the TGT cooperative model in physical education learning, identify the supporting and inhibiting factors of its implementation, and analyze its contribution to the development of decision-making abilities of students at MI NU Nurul Haq. The research employed field research using a qualitative approach through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman model, and data validity was ensured through source and technique triangulation. The results show that the Rangku Alu game was implemented in a structured manner, supported by students’ enthusiasm, active teacher involvement, and school facilities. Students demonstrated improvement in decision-making abilities as indicated by several indicators: (1) the ability to imitate others’ movements (imitation), (2) performing movements accurately and precisely (precision), and (3) executing high-quality movements reflexively (naturalization). The traditional Rangku Alu game contributes to the development of motor skills and students’ psychomotor aspects, and serves as an appropriate medium for developing decision-making, cooperation, and communication skills. The implementation of traditional games in physical education provides enjoyable and meaningful learning experiences while supporting the objectives of physical education learning.
