Abstract

This study aims to develop Indonesian language listening instructional materials based on the Sunan Bonang folklore as local wisdom of Tuban Regency for third-grade students of SD Negeri Wadung, Jenu District, Tuban Regency, East Java. The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) design using the ADDIE model, encompassing five systematic stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Data were collected through classroom observation, teacher interviews, expert validation sheets for content and media, a four-aspect listening assessment rubric, and pre-test and post-test instruments administered to 24 third-grade students. Quantitative data were analyzed using validation score percentages and the Normalized Gain (N-Gain) formula, while qualitative data were derived from validator notes and recommendations. The results indicate that the instructional materials achieved a combined validation average of 91.0% (Very Valid), with content expert validation at 92.3% and media expert validation at 89.6%. The effectiveness of the materials was demonstrated by a significant increase in mean scores from 52.00 on the pre-test to 83.33 on the post-test, yielding an average N-Gain of 0.65 (moderate category), with all students (100%) achieving the minimum mastery criterion following implementation. The study concludes that Sunan Bonang folklore can be systematically transformed into valid and effective listening instructional materials through the ADDIE model, providing a replicable framework for local wisdom-based instructional material development in other regions of Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze technology-based adaptive curriculum design in Islamic Religious Education through the integration of artificial intelligence (AI), big data, and cyber-pedagogy. The study employs a library research method with a qualitative approach. The research data were sourced from 25 scientific books and journal articles accredited by SINTA, as well as reputable international journals from 2016-2025. Data collection was conducted through documentary studies and analyzed using content analysis and comparative analysis. The results indicate that AI plays a role in personalizing learning and assessment, big data is used to support data-driven decision-making, while cyber-pedagogy creates more interactive and flexible learning experiences. The integration of these three aspects into the PAI curriculum remains focused on strengthening students’ spiritual, moral, and character values. The study’s conclusion indicates that technology-based adaptive curricula are a vital component in the transformation of Islamic education in the digital age through learning that is more relevant, contextual, and aligned with students’ needs.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the persistent obstacles in teaching fantasy story writing at the junior high school level, particularly in understanding narrative structure and developing a coherent storyline. Teaching fantasy story writing requires teaching materials that can help students understand the elements of story building concretely and systematically. This study aims to describe the narrative structure in the video "Prince of the Fish" on the YouTube channel Indonesia Fairy Tales based on the actan scheme and Greimas' functional model and assess its suitability as teaching material for writing fantasy stories for seventh-grade junior high school students. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with content analysis. The research data in the form of narratives, dialogues, and events in the video were collected through documentation techniques by listening, transcribing, and noting important parts of the story. Data analysis was carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results show that the story "Prince of the Fish" has a complete actantial structure including subject, object, sender, recipient, helper, and opponent. In addition, the functional model of the story develops systematically through the stages of the initial situation, transformation, and final situation. Based on linguistic, psychological, and cultural aspects, this story is considered suitable for use as teaching material for writing fantasy stories for seventh grade junior high school students.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the concept of youth education that has been conveyed by Sheikh Musthofa Al-Ghalayaini through a study of the book Idzatun Nasyi'in. The focus of this research is to reveal educational values, principles of character development, and their relevance to the education of today's teenagers. This research uses a qualitative approach method with the type of library research. The main data source is the book Idzatun Nasyi'in and its translation, while secondary data comes from relevant literature such as books, journals, articles and documents related to research. Data analysis techniques are carried out through text identification, theme classification, and inductive interpretation of meaning. Apart from that, this research also emphasizes the importance of moral education as the main foundation in forming teenagers' personalities with character and responsibility. The educational values contained in the book are not only theoretical, but also applicable in everyday life. The results of the research show that the concept of education according to Sheikh Musthofa Al-Ghalaya emphasizes the formation of morals, strengthening faith, self-control and social responsibility. These values are very relevant to the challenges of modern adolescent education which tends to experience a moral crisis. Therefore, Sheikh Musthofa Al-Ghalaya's thoughts can be used as a basis for developing character education based on Islamic values.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model and analyze the improvement of science learning outcomes on energy transformation material among fourth-grade students at SDN Sumur Welut III/440. The research method used was Classroom Action Research (CAR) with the Kemmis and McTaggart design model, conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consisted of planning, action, observation, and reflection phases. The research subjects were 29 fourth-grade students. Data collection techniques included learning outcome tests, observation, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted descriptively using both qualitative and quantitative approaches. The results showed a significant improvement in learning completeness: from an initial 45%, increasing to 62% in Cycle I, and reaching 90% in Cycle II. The class average score also improved from 72 in Cycle I to 85 in Cycle II. Therefore, the implementation of the PjBL model proved effective in improving IPAS learning outcomes on energy transformation material in elementary school.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the use of sentence types as persuasive language strategies in the captions of lip cream posts on the Instagram account @itsomgbeauty and to analyze the ideational, interpersonal, and textual metafunctions based on Systemic Functional Linguistics (SFL) theory. This study employs a qualitative descriptive approach, with data sources consisting of eight captions for lip cream posts uploaded to the Instagram account @itsomgbeauty in 2025. Data were selected through purposive sampling and collected using documentation techniques. Data analysis was conducted through the stages of identification, classification, analysis, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that persuasive language strategies in subtitles are constructed through the use of declarative, imperative, interrogative, and exclamatory sentences. Declarative sentences are the most dominant type used because they serve to convey information about the product’s advantages. Imperative sentences are used to encourage the audience to take specific actions, interrogative sentences are used to increase audience engagement, while exclamatory sentences are used to reinforce the emotional aspect of the promotional message. Additionally, the ideational, interpersonal, and textual metafunctions are used in an integrated manner to construct persuasive messages. The ideational metafunction represents the product and user experience; the interpersonal metafunction builds a relationship between the brand and the audience; and the textual metafunction organizes the message for easy understanding. Thus, the persuasion strategy in digital cosmetic promotions is built through a combination of informative, interactive, and persuasive language functions.

Abstract

The lack of conceptual clarity among students about electrical energy sources is a direct result of the continued dominance of the lecture technique and textbooks in the classroom, which in turn leads to students' poor grasp of the subject. The purpose of this research was to design and test the Miniature of Electrical Energy Sources (MISEL) as a teaching tool for third graders at UPT SD Negeri Prantaan in order to establish its efficacy, validity, and practicability in the classroom. Researchers used the R&D approach in this investigation. Twelve third graders, six of whom were male and six of whom were female, served as the research subjects. Information was gathered by means of examinations, surveys, and records. Pre- and post-test results, teacher and student surveys, and validation from experts in the fields of material, media, and language provided the data. The N-Gain test and descriptive quantitative analysis were used to analyze the data. Based on the results, the MISEL media received a very valid score of 94% for material validation, a media validation score of 93%, and a valid score of 66% for language validation. Both the teachers' and students' responses were deemed very practical, with a practicality test percentage of 96% and 92.22%, respectively. According to the efficacy test, the average score went up from 75 on the pretest to 85 on the posttest. The average result from the N-Gain analysis was 0.70, which is considered high. Based on these findings, the Miniature of Electrical Energy Sources (MISEL) learning media is considered valid, practical, and effective for use in elementary school science and social studies (IPAS) learning, particularly on the topic of electrical energy sources for third-grade students.

Abstract

Perilaku social withdrawal dapat muncul pada berbagai kelompok usia, termasuk remaja, dan sering kali terlihat dalam lingkungan pendidikan melalui kecenderungan siswa menjauh dari interaksi dengan teman sebaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran perilaku social withdrawal pada salah satu siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 1 Takalar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus (case study). Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan studi dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa RAP memperlihatkan perilaku social withdrawal berupa kecenderungan menyendiri dalam berbagai situasi, kurang terlibat dalam aktivitas kelompok, menghindari komunikasi dengan teman sebaya, memiliki sensitivitas emosional yang tinggi, serta menunjukkan rasa malu dalam situasi sosial tertentu. Perilaku tersebut dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal dan faktor eksternal. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengalaman interpersonal yang kurang menyenangkan dapat mempengaruhi perkembangan sosial dan emosional peserta didik sehingga mendorong munculnya perilaku menarik diri di lingkungan sekolah.

Abstract

This study aims to describe three things, namely the structure, content, and linguistic characteristics of observation report texts of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 15 Padang. The type of research used is qualitative research using descriptive methods. The data analyzed are observation report texts written by class VIII students of SMP Negeri 15 Padang totaling 33 texts. The instrument in this study was the researcher herself. Data collection techniques used fishing techniques and documentation techniques. The data validation technique used was triangulation (cross-check). Data analysis consists of, namely data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. Based on the results of the study, the following three things can be concluded. First, overall 24 texts have a complete structure and 9 texts do not have a complete structure. Second, the content of the observation report texts of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 15 Padang shows that of the 33 texts analyzed, 24 observation report texts have complete content. Third, the linguistic characteristics found in the observation report texts of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 15 Padang are 21 texts that have complete linguistic characteristics and 12 texts do not have complete linguistic characteristics. In general, students' ability to write observation report texts is classified as good, but still needs improvement, especially in the aspect of linguistic characteristics.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas e-learning dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI), mengidentifikasi platform digital yang digunakan, serta mengkaji kelebihan dan kendala implementasinya dalam konteks Kurikulum Merdeka. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kajian pustaka (literature review) dengan menganalisis berbagai artikel ilmiah yang relevan dari tahun 2019 hingga 2025. Data diperoleh melalui database seperti Google Scholar dan Garuda, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis isi melalui tahapan pengelompokan tema, perbandingan hasil, dan penyusunan sintesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa e-learning efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar, keterlibatan, dan kemandirian siswa. Pemanfaatan platform digital seperti Google Classroom, Learning Management System (LMS), dan Edmodo berperan dalam mendukung proses pembelajaran yang lebih fleksibel dan interaktif. Selain itu, e-learning memiliki kelebihan dalam hal aksesibilitas, variasi media pembelajaran, serta mendorong kreativitas guru. Namun demikian, implementasinya masih menghadapi kendala berupa keterbatasan infrastruktur, rendahnya literasi digital, serta berkurangnya interaksi langsung antara guru dan siswa. Dalam konteks Kurikulum Merdeka, e-learning memiliki kesesuaian dengan prinsip pembelajaran yang berpusat pada peserta didik. Meskipun demikian, terdapat kesenjangan antara konsep dan praktik yang memerlukan upaya optimalisasi melalui peningkatan kompetensi digital dan dukungan fasilitas. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi berupa sintesis yang integratif mengenai efektivitas e-learning dalam pembelajaran PAI sebagai bagian dari transformasi pendidikan di era digital.
