Abstract

This study aims to describe the cross-sector collaboration process in fulfilling the protection rights of child victims of violence which includes face-to-face dialogue, building trust, commitment to the process, mutual understanding and the final results achieved. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations and documentation with key informants from the P3A Service, and other informants, namely the Resort Police, Social Service, Education Service, Health Service, District Attorney's Office, Population and Civil Registration Service, Yabiku and paralegals. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. This study is guided by five research indicators, namely face-to-face dialogue proven by case titles, building trust proven by the regent's decree and also the strategic plan of the P3A Service, commitment to the process proven by a clear flow of handling child violence cases, shared understanding proven by joint meetings, and temporary impacts proven by decreasing cases of child violence. The results of this study indicate that collaborative governance in resolving cases of child violence has obtained quite satisfactory results, but there are still obstacles that the community does not fully understand the importance of child protection. The recommendation from this study is to increase the capacity of human resources through periodic socialization to the community and encourage active community involvement as pioneers and reporters related to child violence.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the moderating role of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in the relationship between Good Corporate Governance (GCG) and firm value. Good Corporate Governance in this context is proxied by managerial ownership, institutional ownership, and the proportion of independent commissioners. The research employs a sample of mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2021–2023 period, resulting in a final sample of 66 firm-years. Data were analyzed using SPSS software. The findings reveal that, partially, managerial ownership, institutional ownership, and independent commissioners have a significant positive effect on firm value. Furthermore, the moderation analysis indicates that Corporate Social Responsibility moderates the effect of managerial ownership on firm value. However, CSR does not moderate the relationship between institutional ownership or independent commissioners and firm value.

Abstract

The fulfillment of basic needs is essential for individuals to ensure the well-being of themselves and their families. As members of the workforce, individuals possess skills that serve as a form of capital enabling them to work and fulfill these needs. Both the fulfillment of needs and the development of skills can be facilitated through organizations. In carrying out its activities, an organization requires employee support, as employees are a critical factor in determining its success. An organization that is able to create a positive work climate and provide job satisfaction in all aspects can influence employee performance in a positive direction. This, in turn, is expected to help the organization grow and achieve its goals. Good employee performance has a direct positive impact on organizational success. Creating comfort in the workplace can be achieved in various ways, such as addressing employee needs, appreciating employees, and fostering good cooperation. In addition to comfort—also referred to as a positive organizational climate—job satisfaction plays a key role in motivating employees to work optimally. Job satisfaction can be achieved through adequate salary, recognition, and fair treatment. Based on this rationale, the researcher conducted a study entitled “The Influence of Organizational Climate on Employee Performance with Job Satisfaction as a Mediating Variable.” The population of this study consisted of non-academic employees at a private higher education institution “X.” The sample included 50 non-academic employees with a minimum tenure of 20 years, selected using purposive sampling. To test the hypotheses, Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was applied using AMOS 16.0 to examine the mediating role of job satisfaction. The findings reveal that organizational climate has a significant effect on employee performance (p = 0.000). However, organizational climate does not significantly affect job satisfaction (p = 0.154). Job satisfaction significantly influences employee performance (p = 0.000), but job satisfaction does not mediate the relationship between organizational climate and employee performance (p = 0.214).

Abstract

This study explores the transformation of community-based public services as a paradigm shift from traditional bureaucracy toward collaborative governance in Indonesia. Grounded in the theories of New Public Service (R. B. Denhardt & Denhardt, 2003), Co-Production (Alford, 2016), and Public Service Logic (Osborne et al., 2018), this research emphasizes that citizens are not merely recipients of services but active partners in creating public value. The study aims to understand the collaborative practices between government and communities in public service delivery and the social factors influencing their success. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, the research was conducted in Makassar City through in-depth interviews, field observations, and document analysis focusing on innovative programs such as Lorong Wisata (Tourism Alley), Community Waste Bank, and Jagai Anakta’ (Child Protection Program). The findings reveal that community participation has reshaped the relationship between government and citizens into an equal partnership that produces more adaptive, inclusive, and sustainable services. Beyond administrative efficiency, this transformation strengthens social solidarity, economic independence, and public trust in government institutions. The key success factors lie in social capital—mutual cooperation, a sense of belonging, and networks of trust within the community. Nevertheless, challenges persist in bureaucratic capacity, uneven participation, and program sustainability. The study concludes that community-based public service transformation represents not merely an administrative innovation but a social process that deepens participatory democracy at the local level.

Abstract

This study aims to formulate a corporate strategy for small-scale industry (MSME) producers of kerupuk (traditional crackers) in Tlasih Village, Tulangan District, Sidoarjo Regency, East Java. The research object is an MSME with a formal organizational structure, where corporate decision-making is carried out through managerial considerations. The general objective of this study is to identify the internal conditions of the MSME in order to determine its strengths and competitive advantages, as well as its relative weaknesses. In parallel, the study identifies changes in the external environment so that the MSME can detect both the opportunities and threats it faces. Through this analysis, the MSME Kerupuk Tlasih can formulate appropriate strategies from various strategic alternatives to remain competitive under such conditions. The specific objective of the study is to provide recommendations for the most effective corporate strategy that will enable the MSME Kerupuk Tlasih to sustain its operations amid environmental and competitive changes. The selection of MSME Kerupuk Tlasih as the research object given its formal organizational structure aims to allow for a clear assessment of its relative condition and the extent of its strengths and weaknesses in responding to environmental dynamics. This MSME is expected to leverage its strengths to capitalize on external opportunities and mitigate threats arising from environmental shifts. The analytical models employed in this study include the Internal Factor Analysis Summary (IFAS), External Factor Analysis Summary (EFAS), and SWOT analysis. The results indicate that the SWOT analysis places MSME Kerupuk Tlasih in Quadrant II, illustrating that the enterprise is currently facing significant external threats while maintaining relatively strong internal capabilities. Consequently, the most appropriate strategies for MSME Kerupuk Tlasih are market development and product development strategies.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the needs of facilities, policies, leadership support, and work-life balance on the performance of female workers at the Pertamina IHC Clinic. This study uses qualitative and quantitative methods (Mix Method) using data analysis using SEM_PLS version 3.0. Data were collected through a survey involving 384 female workers at the Pertamina IHC Clinic, the sampling technique using simple random sampling. The results of the study indicate that facilities and policies have positive and significant implications for the performance of female workers. However, leadership support does not have a significant direct impact. Through the mediation of work-life balance, policies and leadership support are proven to significantly improve performance, while facilities do not show a significant effect. Facilities such as lactation rooms, break rooms, and access to training are considered supportive, as are special leave policies, gender equality, and protection from harassment. Leadership support that includes work flexibility, career development, and appreciation is also an important factor. The main challenges faced include the limited implementation of facilities and policies evenly, as well as the low representation of women in leadership. Therefore, an evaluation of facilities, gender-based leadership training, and a fair policy monitoring system are needed to improve the performance of female workers sustainably.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze development strategies based on local potential and community participation in Kading Village. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with a purposive sampling technique to identify key informants capable of providing in-depth information regarding social phenomena and village development. Data collection was conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis followed the Miles and Huberman model, including data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing/verification. The research results show that Kading Village possesses diverse local potential, including natural resources, human resources, social assets, and cultural heritage. However, asset mapping remains administrative in nature and does not optimally involve community participation, resulting in underutilization of economic and social potential. The local economic sector is dominated by traditional agriculture and livestock, with low-value-added home-based business initiatives. Village economic independence is suboptimal due to dependence on external assistance, and the role of Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) has not fully promoted community productivity. Local innovation is also limited to traditional practices and the adoption of simple technologies, while community participation in development planning, monitoring, and evaluation remains symbolic. This research emphasizes the need for a development strategy based on participatory mapping of local assets, strengthening economic institutional capacity, and local innovation involving collaboration between the government, community, academics, and the private sector. Through a participatory approach and community empowerment, Kading Village has the potential to achieve inclusive, sustainable, and locally potential-based development

Abstract

Public service at the sub-district level serves as the frontline of government in ensuring citizens’ basic rights, particularly for vulnerable groups such as persons with disabilities, the elderly, and underprivileged families. This study analyzes governance practices in Banjarmasin Utara Sub-district by focusing on policy integration, staff capacity, collaboration among actors, and local cultural dynamics. A qualitative case study was conducted through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document review. The findings indicate that although regulations and standard operating procedures for priority services exist, their implementation is constrained by limited budgets, insufficient staff training, and uneven digital infrastructure. Community support, staff improvisation, and informal social networks help bridge institutional gaps, but may also lead to inequities. A hybrid model combining digital and face-to-face services emerges as an adaptive strategy to reach vulnerable groups. The study contributes by showing that the effectiveness of inclusive governance at the sub-district level depends on the synergy between formal policy, operational capacity, collaboration, and cultural sensitivity.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the determinants of green innovation culture on the successful implementation of Green Human Resource Management (Green HRM) in environmentally oriented manufacturing organizations. A quantitative research design was employed through a survey of 210 respondents (HR managers and staff) from green manufacturing firms in West Java. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The results demonstrate that green innovation culture has a significant influence on the success of Green HRM (β = 0.62; p < 0.001). The most dominant dimensions identified were green creativity and sustainable orientation. These findings suggest that green innovation culture is a key factor driving the effectiveness of Green HRM. The implications highlight the need for organizations to cultivate values, norms, and work practices that are oriented toward sustainable innovation.

Abstract

This study analyzes the implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) in non-population administrative services in Pisugi District, Jayawijaya Regency, Papua Pegunungan, using a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving nine key informants, consisting of the district head, service officials, and service users. The analysis applied the SERVQUAL framework (tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy) to examine gaps between service expectations and realities. The findings indicate that SOP implementation in Pisugi District faces major challenges. Service facilities are available but limited, and SOPs are not publicly accessible, undermining transparency. Service reliability is low due to inconsistent completion times, while responsiveness is constrained by limited staffing and non-standardized communication, despite officials’ efforts to explain procedures. The assurance dimension is weakened since SOPs serve only as internal guidelines, leading citizens to question service legitimacy. Empathy is demonstrated through friendliness and use of local languages, but remains inconsistent due to human resource constraints. The novelty of this research lies in its focus on non-population administrative services in remote Papua, a context rarely explored in prior studies. It extends SERVQUAL theory by showing that in remote areas, service quality is not only shaped by physical facilities and officials’ behavior but also by SOP transparency, institutional capacity, and socio-geographic conditions. The study highlights the need for greater procedural transparency, publication of SOPs, and bureaucratic adaptation to local contexts.
