Abstract

Service learning has gained recognition as an effective pedagogical approach that bridges academic learning with community service. This study examines the integration of service learning in higher education, evaluating its impact on students’ academic performance, personal development, and community engagement. The research aimed to explore how service learning can enhance students’ practical skills, critical thinking abilities, and social responsibility, while also contributing to the community’s well-being. A mixed-methods approach was employed, combining quantitative surveys to assess students’ academic performance and qualitative interviews to understand their personal experiences with service learning. The results indicate that students who participated in service learning programs showed significant improvements in their ability to apply theoretical knowledge in real-world contexts, with 75% of students reporting an increase in problem-solving and teamwork skills. Additionally, service learning fostered a greater sense of civic responsibility, with students expressing a stronger commitment to community service and social justice. The study concludes that integrating service learning into higher education curricula promotes holistic student development and contributes to community-based solutions. The findings suggest that service learning should be further incorporated into educational frameworks to provide students with meaningful opportunities for engagement and personal growth.

In emerging economies, marginalized communities face significant barriers to entrepreneurship, including limited access to resources, markets, and technology. Creative technology entrepreneurship offers an innovative solution to these challenges, empowering local entrepreneurs to create impactful businesses that drive social change. This study explores the role of creative technologies, such as mobile apps, digital media, and virtual reality, in enhancing community-based entrepreneurship and fostering inclusive development. The research aims to understand how these technologies enable marginalized entrepreneurs to overcome barriers, increase market access, and create sustainable business models. A mixed-methods approach was employed, combining qualitative case studies and quantitative surveys to assess the impact of technology adoption on business performance and social outcomes. The findings reveal that entrepreneurs who integrated creative technologies into their businesses saw significant improvements in customer engagement, market reach, and operational efficiency. Furthermore, social capital and local community networks played a crucial role in supporting technology adoption and fostering business success. The study concludes that creative technology entrepreneurship is a key driver of inclusive development, offering a pathway for marginalized communities to participate in the digital economy. These findings suggest that policymakers and development organizations should support the integration of creative technologies into entrepreneurship programs to promote sustainable economic and social growth.

Abstract

The increasing complexity of global challenges such as poverty, climate change, and inequality has pushed marginalized communities to seek innovative solutions through entrepreneurship. Creative technologies like virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and mobile applications offer novel opportunities for socio-preneurship, enabling entrepreneurs to develop solutions that promote social, environmental, and economic sustainability. This study explores how creative technologies serve as a catalyst for socio-preneurship by examining the experiences of entrepreneurs in underserved regions who have integrated these technologies into their business models. The research aims to understand how these technologies empower entrepreneurs to overcome systemic barriers and create scalable solutions to global challenges. A mixed-methods approach was utilized, combining qualitative interviews and quantitative surveys to gather insights from 20 entrepreneurs across diverse sectors, including education, healthcare, and agriculture. The findings suggest that creative technology enhances business performance, expands market access, and strengthens community ties. Moreover, social capital was identified as a crucial factor in amplifying the impact of technology adoption. The study concludes that creative technology is essential for inclusive socio-preneurship, offering a pathway to address global challenges while fostering local economic and social development. Policy recommendations include supporting technological infrastructure and social networks for marginalized entrepreneurs to ensure sustainable growth.

Abstract

High-velocity markets are increasingly characterized by radical disruptions that challenge traditional organizational strategies and operational frameworks. Firms face continuous technological shocks, volatile customer demands, and competitive uncertainty, necessitating mechanisms that enable both rapid adaptation and sustained resilience. Understanding how organizations navigate these conditions is critical for maintaining competitiveness and long-term viability. The study aims to examine the interplay between dynamic capabilities and organizational resilience, focusing on the mediating role of digital pivot execution in high-velocity contexts. It seeks to elucidate the mechanisms through which sensing, seizing, and transforming capabilities are operationalized to enhance adaptive performance and strategic flexibility. A mixed-method research design was employed, integrating quantitative surveys from 112 organizations across technology, financial services, and e-commerce sectors with qualitative case studies and semi-structured interviews. Statistical analyses, including regression and structural equation modeling, were complemented by thematic coding of interview data to ensure contextual depth and triangulation. Results indicate that dynamic capabilities significantly enhance organizational resilience, with digital pivots functioning as a critical mediator. Sectoral differences reveal that technology firms leverage capabilities more effectively, whereas other industries require deliberate alignment strategies. Findings suggest that capability integration and strategic digital initiatives collectively drive adaptive performance. The study concludes that resilience is emergent from coordinated capability deployment and digital execution. Firms adopting integrated approaches demonstrate higher agility, operational continuity, and responsiveness to radical disruptions.
