Abstract

Abstrak: Masalah degenerasi moral mahasiswa telah lama berkembang di Indonesia. Peraturan Presiden Nomor 2017 tentang Penguatan Karakter Pendidikan adalah salah satu solusi masalah degenerasi moral yang dihadapi oleh sekolah sebagai unit pendidikan, memainkan peran penting dalam proses membangun karakter pendidikan bagi peserta pendidikan. Hal ini sesuai dengan persyaratan manajemen untuk memperkuat pendidikan karakter yang sangat baik di sekolah. SD Fajar Harapan dipilih sebagai objek dalam penelitian ini karena memiliki tingkat heterogenitas yang tinggi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menilai administrasi pendidikan peningkatan karakter di SD Fajar Harapan. Penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah: Merencanakan dan berkolaborasi antara pemerintah, unit pendidikan, dan masyarakat sekitar SD Fajar Harapan dalam menyusun kegiatan pendidikan karakter yang diselenggarakan, SD Harapan telah menetapkan jadwal dan sumber daya personil yang tepat dalam pelaksanaan penguatan pendidikan karakternya. Aktif, memperkuat pendidikan karakter di SD Fajar Harapan telah dilakukan baik dalam kegiatan intra- maupun ekstracurricular. Kontrol dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah, instruktur, staf, dan orang tua siswa.Abstract: The issue of declining moral values among students has long been a concern in Indonesia. President's Regulation No. 2017 on Strengthening Character Education is one of the solutions to address this problem in schools, playing a crucial role in shaping the character of students. This is in line with the management's requirement to strengthen character education in schools. This study focuses on evaluating the administration of character education improvement at SD Fajar Harapan, which was chosen due to its high level of heterogeneity. The research is qualitative and descriptive in nature. The findings of the study indicate that SD Fajar Harapan has collaborated with the government, educational institutions, and the local community to organize character education activities. The school has also established appropriate schedules and staffing resources to strengthen its character education program. SD Fajar Harapan has been actively promoting character education through both intra- and extracurricular activities. Oversight is conducted by the school principal, instructors, staff, and parents.

Abstract

The phenomenon of fatherlessness in Indonesia is an issue that cannot be ignored, considering the importance of the role of fathers in character formation, emotional well-being, and family economic stability. The figure of the father not only functions as a breadwinner, but also as an educator, role model, and the main supporter in the development of children. Active father involvement contributes to the child's psychological balance, preventing negative impacts such as low self-confidence, difficulties in building social relationships, and an increased risk of mental problems. In addition, the role of men in society also contributes to community strengthening and inclusive social development. This service activity aims to increase public awareness of the importance of the presence and involvement of fathers and men in family and social life. One form of implementation of this program is the organization of a letter writing competition for fathers as a medium of reflection and appreciation. This activity is expected to be able to build collective awareness about the importance of the father figure, strengthen emotional relationships in the family, and encourage the community to appreciate the role of men in various aspects of life. Thus, this activity contributes to building a culture of appreciation for the role of fathers and encourages the active participation of men in forming a more harmonious family and community.

Abstract

Education is closely related to the process of organizing to fully achieve educational goals. Using appropriate learning methods in the learning process is one of the keys to the success of the learning process. Good learning methods need to be adapted to the age of students, because there are many learning techniques in learning methods that educators can apply to achieve what they want to achieve. Learning to draw with practice with finger painting technique is a form of adapting teaching and learning techniques used by TK Kusawa Hanagiri by taking into account the age level of students. Based on this, the writer then carried out qualitative descriptive activities and finger painting which was supported by data analysis using the triangulation stage using data collection techniques in the form of observations, interviews, and library searches. The following are the results of the analysis of the mean of finger painting learning in Kusawakagiri Kindergarten. Based on these results, there is some debate. 1) Finger painting develops students' imagination. That is, the child's imagination, which is mainly influenced by the environment, is acquired in the process of observing the child and in himself. Through this process, the head that is built will be able to foster children's creative thinking and develop their intelligence, enabling them to think critically. 2) Finger painting fosters student creativity. In short, learning finger painting allows children to create new conditions based on existing data, information and elements (creativity). 3) Painting with fingers as a source of inspiration, painting with fingers as a source of implied inspiration is a detailed practice process for students.

Abstract

Education serves not only as a medium for transferring knowledge but also as a process of shaping values and character that are manifested in real behavior. One of the fundamental character traits that must be nurtured in higher education is discipline, particularly in the context of globalization and the competitive tourism industry that demands professionalism. This study aims to analyze the achievement of students’ discipline character in the Cultural Tourism Department through the Travel Industry Practicum, based on five key indicators: obedience, compliance, loyalty, regularity, and orderliness. The research employed a quantitative descriptive approach using a questionnaire instrument adapted from Patmawati (2013). The population consisted of 75 students from the 2021 cohort, with a sample of 43 respondents determined through Slovin’s formula and convenience sampling. The findings reveal that during the initial phase of the practicum, several weaknesses were observed in students’ discipline, such as tardiness, uniform neatness, and consistency in task completion. However, after completing the practicum over one semester, all discipline indicators showed significant improvement, reaching the “very good” category with an average score of 4,66. These results indicate that practical field experience combined with institutional guidance effectively strengthens students’ internalization of discipline values. In conclusion, the Travel Industry Practicum is not only a vehicle for applying academic theory, but also serves as an effective strategy for character building. The results of this study make an important contribution to strengthening Thomas Lickona's noble character education framework through its application in higher education, particularly in the field of tourism. These findings can serve as a strategic basis for policy formulation and curriculum development oriented towards the formation of disciplinary character, so that higher education can produce graduates who are not only academically competent but also excel in work ethic and character values.

Abstract

This research aimed at developing material of English for tour guiding enriched with Balinese local wisdom, providing contextual and suit with culture and local wisdom value of Bali Island. This research employed R&D with ADDIE. The syllabus and lesson plan were meticulously checked in analysis phase, teachers and the available teaching-learning situation were involved in this phase. then, the product was formulated into an e-book with Bali local wisdom, in design stage. The utility and validity of the recent product in development stage were assessed by validity tests and practicability tests. Validity tests done by 5 experts confirmed the recent product was in valid category in terms of language, layout, and content. Result of Focus Group Discussion test showed e-book was categorized in good category, respectively score 1.182 (86%) for content, score 1.069 points (89%) for layout, and score 725 points (85%) for language. The study was conducted to accommodate educators in higher education a better teaching material, specifically for the English for Tour Guiding course

Abstract

This community service activity examined the role of the green and clean movement within the context of ecotourism development in Subak Uma Lambing, located in Abiansemal District, Badung Regency. Ecotourism has become a central focus of sustainable development efforts in the region, with Subak Uma Lambing emerging as one of its primary destinations. The objective of this study is to explore how the green and clean concept contributes to the growth and sustainability of ecotourism in this area. A mixed-methods approach was employed, combining field research with literature analysis. Primary data were collected through interviews with key stakeholders, including subak adminitrator (pekaseh), subak farmers, and environmental activists operating in the surrounding area. Secondary data were sourced from academic and policy literature related to ecotourism, environmental management, and the green and clean initiative. The findings showed that the green and clean concept plays a significant role in the development of ecotourism in Subak Uma Lambing. Initiatives such as plastic and organic waste management, nature conservation, environmental education, and community participation have been instrumental in raising awareness about the importance of environmental and cultural preservation. Moreover, the green and clean movement has contributed to the creation of new economic opportunities through the establishment of sustainable, community-based enterprises. The collaboration between the green and clean movement and ecotourism has yielded positive outcomes in preserving the environmental and cultural integrity of Subak Uma Lambing. In the long term, these sustainable efforts are expected to ensure the continued viability of ecotourism in the region, grounded in strong principles of sustainability while simultaneously delivering economic and social benefits to the local community.
