Abstract

An analysis of the development of 4Cs-oriented learning for elementary school teachers in the post-COVID-19 pandemic needs to be carried out to determine the level of success in implementing learning during the Covid-19 pandemic while maintaining the quality of learning outcomes oriented to 4Cs skills. These four skills form the basis of student readiness in dealing with the rapid development of science and technology that is occurring in the 21st century. The results of a preliminary study by researchers on nine SD Gugus Raden Intan Kec. Candipuro, South Lampung Regency, Indonesia, found three main problems (1) the learning objectives represented in the learning outcomes of students were not 4Cs oriented: (2) teachers in implementing online learning during the pandemic were not oriented towards achieving 4Cs skills. (3) teachers have not made professional development demands to develop interactive media, interesting methods, and several learning systems that accommodate 4Cs skills oriented learning effectiveness during a pandemic. The sample in this study involved 27 lower grade teachers who taught grades 1, 2, and 3 at SD Gugus Raden Intan Kec. Candipuro, South Lampung Regency, Indonesia. The focus of learning development analysis in this study aims to obtain an intervention that can help improve teacher competence in developing learning that is oriented towards the achievement of the 4Cs skills after the Covid-19 Pandemic.

Abstract

Development of Jumping Task-Based Lkpd to Improve Student Achievement of Learning Outcomes. This study aims to develop Jumping Task-based worksheets that can be used to improve student achievement. This research is a research and development research and development (R&D) using the ADDIE research model. Collecting data using the method of observation, interviews, and questionnaires. Observations were made during the analysis of the school environment. Interviews are needed to determine the needs of teachers, students, and problems in the learning process. Questionnaires were used to assess the validity of the LKPD from the aspect of material, media, use of LKPD, and implementation of learning, and were used in trials to students to measure the feasibility of LKPD based on Jumping Task. The subjects of this study were 46 students of class VI. This research produces LKPD based on Jumping Task in the solar system science subjects. The results showed the average pretest 69,71 and the average posttest 79,49. The results of the calculation of the achievement of affective aspects obtained the final value of class VIA, namely 87.92 with very high criteria, class VIB getting a score of 85,46 with very high criteria. While the results of the calculation of the achievement of psychomotor aspects at the end of class IVA, namely 86,25 with very high criteria, class VIB got a score of 82,08 with very high criteria. So it can be concluded that the developed LKPD can improve student achievement.

Abstract

This study aims to develop the professionalism of rural area elementary school teachers based on TPACK. The subject of this research is the Teacher Professional Education (PPG) Participants at the University of Lampung in 2020 in the field of study for elementary school teachers from rural areas in Lampung Province. The research sample amounted to 49, which were determined purposively. This study uses qualitative research with a Narrative Study Approach. The focus of this research is to produce a hypothetical model that can overcome the obstacles of PPG participants from rural areas so that it can be a solution to increase professionalism while supporting UKMPPG Graduation. Data collection techniques are used in the form of questionnaires, interviews and documents. The results showed that PPG participants were proven to have problems in the form of weak internet signals and a lack of mastery of technology, which impacted their unpreparedness to participate in PPG in terms of technology and content. Based on these conditions, the hypothetical model includes three scaffolding levels. Thus, theoretically, scaffolding can develop teacher professionalism.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a Problem-Based Learning-oriented worksheet to improve students' higher-order thinking skills in magnetics at elementary school. The research subjects were 23 fourth-grade students at SDIT Pelita Khoirul Ummah. The development stages used the ADDIE model, which consists of five steps: analyze, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research data types used were quantitative and qualitative. This product was tested using a Likert scale scoring system. The data analysis technique for product effectiveness used the N-gain score, with a pre-test score of 71.04 in the high category and a post-test score of 88.39 in the high category. The conclusion of this research on the development of Problem-Based Learning-based worksheets in elementary schools is that they are suitable for use in improving the higher-order thinking skills of fourth-grade elementary school students.

Abstract

The problem in this study is the low mathematics learning outcomes of fourth grade students at SD Negeri 2 Panjang Utara. This study aims to determine the effect of the Make a Match cooperative learning model assisted by matching cards on mathematics learning outcomes, as well as the difference between this model and the STAD cooperative model. The method used was quasi-experimental with a quantitative approach and saturated sampling technique involving 61 students. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and tests, and analyzed using simple linear regression. The results showed that the Make a Match model assisted by matching cards had an effect on mathematics learning outcomes. The STAD model also had an effect on mathematics learning outcomes. In addition, there were differences between the two learning models. Thus, the Make a Match model assisted by matching cards was more effective in improving mathematics learning outcomes than the STAD model.

Abstract

The problem in this study is the low learning outcomes of students grade VI at SD Negeri 3 Rajabasa Jaya. The purpose of research is to analyze the influence of applying of mind mapping learning model in improving students thematic learning outcomes. The research method used in this study was quasi-experimental group design, which the type used was nonequivalent control group design. The sample in this study was 52 students. The sample was determined using non-probability sampling technique. Then, the data were collected through test technique, documentation, and observation. The data is in the analysis using simple linear regression test to get r hitung 0,888 with n = 26 for α = 0,05 to get rtabel 0,374, so that rhitung > rtabel = 0,888 > 0,374.

Abstract

The main problem in this study was the low mathematics learning outcomes of the fourth grade elementary school students. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of parental attention on the mathematics learning outcomes of the fourth grade elementary school students. This research used quantitative research with ex-post facto method. The population in this study was 218 students and the research sample was 73 students at SD Negeri Gugus Pattimura Tanjung Bintang. This study used a probability sampling technique, namely proportional random sampling. Data collection technique used was a questionnaire. Data analysis used a simple linear regression formula. The results showed that there was a significant influence of parents attention on mathematics learning outcomes with Fcount ≥ Ftable (19.194 ≥ 3.976). This means that the higher the attention given by parents to students, the higher the learning outcomes will be. Vice versa, if the attention given is low, the learning outcomes of students will also be low.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and implement Creative Problem Solving (CPS)-based Student Worksheets (LKPD) to improve students' creative thinking skills on fractions in fifth grade at SDN 1 Langkapura. In the context of the Independent Curriculum, teachers have the freedom to design innovative and contextual learning. However, the use of LKPD or interactive media has not been widely implemented in several schools in Bandar Lampung. This study is based on the view that concrete and interactive learning media can improve student creativity more effectively than conventional methods. Data from the Ministry of Education and Culture's School Education Report Card shows a decline in literacy and numeracy skills of students at SDN 1 Langkapura in the last three years. The implementation of CPS is expected to address this problem by providing more meaningful and problem-solving-based learning. Analysis of previous research results shows that the CPS learning model can improve students' learning outcomes and creative thinking skills. This study uses an experimental approach by comparing learning outcomes between the experimental class using CPS-based LKPD and the control class using conventional learning methods. The research method used is the ADDIE model development research. The research results are expected to contribute to improving the quality of learning in elementary schools and inspire the application of the CPS method in various educational contexts.
