Abstract

This study holds significant academic and practical utility as it contributes to nurturing a generation with strong ethical character amid the declining morality of students. The primary objective is to examine the application of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) values and their subsequent impact on student quality and moral development at SDN 2 Kedung. Using a qualitative approach, the research identifies core values such as honesty, discipline, tolerance, and compassion, while simultaneously exploring pedagogical challenges encountered by educators in consistenly instilling these values. The empirical findings reveal that systematic operationalization of Islamic values not only deepens students’ religious understanding but also plays a crucial role in catalyzing character formation and moral literacy, particularly specific barries at the public elementary school level. Policy implications include evidence-based recommendations such as enhacing PAI teacher  training, designing synthesized values-based instructional modules, and establishing ongoing regulation supervision by municipal education authorities to systematically institutionalize religious values in students’ daily lives.

Abstract

Manhaj tafsir is one aspect in the discipline of Tafsir Al-Qur'an which is used to see the tendency of a book of interpretation.This study attempts to see the tendency of the Book of Tafsir Fath Al-Qadir in QS.Al-Hajj by Imam Al-Syaukani, both in terms of its general method and its special method.This study is considered important to be carried out because it is intended to determine Al-Syaukani's tendency in interpreting the Qur'an in his tafsir work, because it is known that he came from a Shiite background.This study is a qualitative study with the presentation of descriptive analysis whose data collection uses literature studies.The author concludes that Al-Syaukani in his general method, he uses the tahlili method and predominantly uses bi al-ra'y sources, while his special method is always consistent with his eleven steps, such as presenting verses and grouping them into certain groups of verses, analyzing language, mentioning related narrations, etc. As for the alleged Shiite tendency, the author did not find it in Al-Syaukani's interpretation in QS. Al-Hajj.

Abstract

This research discusses the ambiguity and distortion of meaning contained in letters in the Al-Qur'an. In semantic studies, ambiguity or unclear meaning can be caused by several things, including words that have general characteristics or sentences that are never one hundred percent homogeneous. Meanwhile, distortion occurs due to a lack of knowledge or action on the part of each individual who wants to understand the verse according to his wishes and wants to stimulate other people to deviate from understanding the meaning of the verse of the Qur'an. By using the literature review method, the researchers tried to collect material systematically about the ambiguity and distortion of meaning contained in several verses of the Qur'an from previous studies. In this research, the researchers describe examples of ambiguity and distortion of meaning in the Qur'an. There is ambiguity in the meaning of surah al-Baqarah verse 228 and an-Nisa verse 43 from Kamaluddin Abunawas' research, surah al-Baqarah verse 223 and an-Nisa verse 34 in Iswah Adriana's research, surah al-Baqarah verse 220 in Salman et al.'s research. And there is a distortion of meaning in surah al-Baqarah verses 191 and 255 from Septiani et al.'s research, surah Thaha verse 121, an-Nisa verse 164, al-A'raf verse 179 from AN's Nirvana research. And in this research the researchers also try to provide an attitude towards facing ambiguity and distortion of meaning in the verses of the Qur'an.

Abstract

This research examines social and psychological factors on the ability to speak Arabic. The object of this research is the 4th grade students of the Intensive Pondok Modern Daarul Hikmah Tangerang. The aim of this research is to find out how social and psychological factors influence the ability to speak Arabic. The research method uses case studies with qualitative descriptive research, with data collection techniques; observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of data analysis state that there is a relationship between social and psychological factors on the ability to speak Arabic.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the denotative and connotative meanings in the poem Al-I'tiraf by Abu Nawas based on Roland Barthes' semiotic theory. The research employs a qualitative method, with data collection techniques including observation and documentation. The data analysis utilizes Barthes' semiotic approach to identify denotative and connotative signs present in the poem. Denotative meaning reflects the direct meaning of the words, while connotative meaning encompasses deeper layers of meaning, illustrating a universal inner experience of faith, expressing regret, fear, humility, complete dependence, hope, and trust in Allah's mercy. The findings indicate that Al-I'tiraf is not merely an aesthetic literary work but also a medium of communication rich in social messages and philosophical reflection. This study provides new insights into understanding Arabic literary works through the lens of modern semiotics and enriches literary studies by employing Barthes' semiotic theory as an analytical tool.
