Edumaspul: Jurnal Pendidikan focuses on the following topics: Curriculum development, teacher education and professional development, teacher training, cross-cultural studies, learning, evaluation, English language teaching, counseling, management, quality of education, and the use of communication and information technology, at various levels of education and how to deliver learning. It provides an academic platform for teachers, lecturers, and researchers to contribute innovative work in the field. Edumaspul: Jurnal Pendidikan is first published in March 2017 and covers much research in all levels of education (primary, secondary, and higher education). Edumaspul: Jurnal Pendidikan become a CrossRef Member since the year 2019. Therefore, all articles published will have a unique DOI number. Beginning from Vol. 1 No. 1 (2017), all articles will be published in the English version and Indonesia version. The publication frequency is twice a year in March and October. Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pendekatan konkrit yang diterapkan oleh kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kondisi lingkungan kerja di sekolah. Kepala sekolah harus memahami karakteristik individu dan dinamika kelompok di lingkungan sekolah untuk menentukan pendekatan yang efektif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMK Negeri 4 Kota Jambi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus, dimana peneliti mencoba menggambarkan kondisi atau fakta berdasarkan kasus yang terjadi di lapangan. Studi kasus dilakukan sebagai upaya untuk memperoleh solusi atas permasalahan yang terjadi di lapangan. Teknik pengumpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, terdapat beberapa aspek yang menjadi fokus utama dalam menciptakan iklim kerja yang kondusif. Pendekatan kepemimpinan yang efektif dan inklusif dari kepala sekolah, komunikasi yang terbuka dan saling pengertian antar seluruh warga sekolah, serta pemberian masukan yang konstruktif terhadap kinerja guru menjadi poin penting dalam menciptakan iklim kerja yang kondusif. Dalam upaya menciptakan iklim kerja yang kondusif, diperlukan peran aktif dan kolaboratif antara kepala sekolah, guru, dan siswa. Kepala sekolah berperan besar dalam memfasilitasi kolaborasi ketiga aspek tersebut melalui pendekatan kepemimpinan inklusif dan proaktif.

Abstract

This research explores future educational leadership models with a focus on communication and human relations based on religious, philosophical, psychological, and sociological approaches. Using descriptive qualitative methods, data were collected through observation and in-depth interviews in several schools in Tangerang. The results showed that educational leaders who integrate spiritual values and ethical principles in their leadership practices are able to create a positive learning environment and support students' character development. Open and inclusive communication between leaders, staff and students contributes to improved motivation and performance. In addition, a deep understanding of psychological and sociological aspects assisted leaders in building healthy interpersonal relationships and creating fair policies. This study recommends the importance of continuous professional training for educational leaders to implement leadership models that are holistic and responsive to complex social dynamics. The findings are expected to contribute to the development of more effective and relevant educational leadership practices in the future.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan budaya lokal tabe pada siswa kelas V di SD Negeri 211 Attangbenteng Kecamatan LIliriaja Kabupaten Soppeng. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Informan pada penelitian ini yaitu kepala sekolah, wali kelas V, siswa kelas V dan orangtua siswa kelas V. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan peneliti adalah dengan melakukan wawancara mendalam, menggunakan data dan informasi yang diperoleh langsung dari informan. Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan yaitu Penerapan budaya tabe’ di SD Negeri 211 Attang Benteng sudah bersinergi antara kepala sekolah, guru dan orangtua dalam rangka untuk membudayakan tabe’ pada siswa di sekolah maupun di rumah.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the formation of religious character of students at SMP Bhakti Pertiwi through the habituation method, by instilling religious values in everyday life. The approach used is qualitative with a case study method, where data is collected through observation and interviews. The results of the study indicate that the religious character of students is formed through various religious activities, such as learning the Qur'an, praying in congregation, tausiah, sunnah prayers, istighosah, and monthly motivational Quranic gathering activities. The factors that influence the formation of religious character include the family environment, school environment, social environment, and the influence of social media. Character formation through the habituation method also has a positive impact on students, so that they are able to internalize religious values, both in the school environment and outside of school.

Abstract

This study examines the role of Bugis women in the pre-Islamic era as strengtheners of local wisdom culture in South Sulawesi. Bugis women not only function as family members, but also as the main movers in various aspects of religion and culture. As the main madrasah for their children, through their expertise in oral traditions and cultural customs that they uphold, women play an important role in preserving and transmitting cultural values ​​to the next generation. In addition, they are active in managing natural resources, organizing social life, and involving themselves in traditional ceremonies that are markers of community identity. Thus, Bugis women make a significant contribution to maintaining and strengthening local wisdom, which is the foundation for the life of the Bugis community. This study uses qualitative methods with analysis of historical documents, interviews, and direct observation. The results of the study show that Bugis women have a significant contribution to strengthening cultural identity, both through ritual practice and in managing natural resources. Therefore, this article highlights the importance of the role of women in building and maintaining local wisdom that is characteristic of the Bugis community.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan makna denotasi dan konotasi dalam syair kematian sebuah bangsa karya Kahlil Gibran dalam buku Al 'Awasif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Data yang dikumpulkan menggunakan teknik pustaka, dengan mengutip data yang relevan untuk dianalisis, serta teknik membaca dan mencatat untuk menyoroti poin-poin penting dari data penelitian. Setelah data terkumpul, dilakukan analisis dengan mereduksi data yang dianggap relevan untuk disajikan, serta menyimpulkan dan memverifikasi data yang dianggap relevan dengan penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 10 kalimat dalam syair kematian sebuah bangsa karya Kahlil Gibran dalam buku Al 'Awasif yang mengandung makna denotasi dan konotasi. Makna denotasi dan konotasi tersebut terdapat dalam kalimat-kalimat yang menggambarkan air mata, darah, sinar matahari, bayang-bayang, kelaparan, sebutir gandum, seekor burung, madu, dan susu.

Abstract

This study examines the Utilization of the Statue Building Museum as a Learning Resource for Batak Literature. The purpose of this study is as a medium to find out the usefulness of museums as a source of learning. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The informants in this study are museum heads, academics, students/students. Data collection is carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that the history of the establishment of the North Sumatra State Museum located on Jl. H.M. Joni No.51 Daoed Joesoef, Minister of Education and Culture, on April 19, 1982. However, President Ir. Soekarno laid the first stone, a pair of ceremonies, in 1954. Since then, the museum has also been called the Sculpture Building. The building of this museum is shaped like a traditional house of North Sumatra. The front roof is decorated with ornaments from the Batak Toba, Simalungun, Karo, Mandailing, Pakpak, and Nias tribes. The use of the collection at the North Sumatra State Museum as a source of learning about Batak Literature for researchers can be seen from the use of these historical sources as the main source and has the main goal, namely to improve previous research. The collections in the museum contribute greatly to research, so that many meanings are revealed about the study of Batak literature.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the dynamics of cooperation and conflict in the context of education based on Religion, Philosophy, Psychology and Sociology (AFPS) in primary and junior secondary schools in Indonesia. A descriptive qualitative approach was used in this study with data collection methods through semi-structured interviews with key personnel, including principals, teachers and students, as well as direct observation in the classroom. The results showed that AFPS-based education successfully increased students' engagement and cooperation through group discussions, collaborative work, as well as the development of critical thinking skills. However, conflict challenges arise as a result of students' different religious backgrounds, philosophical values and academic abilities, which can hinder the learning process if not managed well. Teachers play a key role in facilitating cooperative dynamics and managing conflicts that arise in the classroom. This study also found that factors such as the role of the teacher, school culture, and students' social and cultural backgrounds have a significant effect on the success of AFPS-based education. The implications of this study include the importance of continuous teacher training, managerial support from schools and strengthening inclusive school culture to support open dialogue and effective cooperation in the classroom. The findings are expected to guide the development of a more holistic and inclusive curriculum in Indonesia.

Abstract

A problem that still often occurs in the Arabic learning process is the lack of Arabic mufrodat vocabulary in students, this is because the methods used by teachers are conventional only centered on teachers, so this affects the grades of students who have not reached the KKM on average. This study aims to determine the influence of the Take and Give method to improve mastery of Arabic mufrodat. Research method, this study is an action research with a quantitative approach in this study the facilitator is the researcher, the researcher took a sample of class IV A MI al-Huda Karangnongko, Maguwoharjo which amounted to 22 people by looking at the results of the cycle. The data collection technique in this study is by using observation and test results. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that the mastery of the Arabic mufrodat using the Take and Give learning method in the process of its application has increased, where in the first cycle the final result was found to be 69%, while in the second cycle it increased to 87%. This shows that there is a significant influence on the application of the Take and Give method in mastering the Arabic mufrodat in grade IV A students of MI al-Huda Karangnongko, Maguwoharjo.

Abstract

Education is a deliberate process aimed at developing the potential of students. The principal's significant role in educational institutions ensures the achievement of quality education. The purpose of this research is to explore various leadership styles and strategies implemented by the principal to improve the quality of education at SMP Birrul Walidain Muhammadiyah Plupuh, Sragen Regency, Central Java. Field research methods were used to collect data through interviews, observations, and documentation, with a qualitative descriptive approach. The results found that inclusive, democratic leadership with a family-oriented approach successfully created a conducive school environment for growth and innovation. An effective principal can integrate the educational vision with daily practices at the school, foster strong collaboration between staff and students, and build an environment that supports innovation and continuous learning.
