Edumaspul: Jurnal Pendidikan focuses on the following topics: Curriculum development, teacher education and professional development, teacher training, cross-cultural studies, learning, evaluation, English language teaching, counseling, management, quality of education, and the use of communication and information technology, at various levels of education and how to deliver learning. It provides an academic platform for teachers, lecturers, and researchers to contribute innovative work in the field. Edumaspul: Jurnal Pendidikan is first published in March 2017 and covers much research in all levels of education (primary, secondary, and higher education). Edumaspul: Jurnal Pendidikan become a CrossRef Member since the year 2019. Therefore, all articles published will have a unique DOI number. Beginning from Vol. 1 No. 1 (2017), all articles will be published in the English version and Indonesia version. The publication frequency is twice a year in March and October. Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the extent to which the influence of the socio-economic status of parents on the learning outcomes of class students. The research method uses quantitative research with a descriptive correlative approach implemented at Madrasah Aliyah Persiapan Negeri 4 Medan. The population in this study were all students of class XI with a sample of 168 students. The data analysis technique in this study used a prerequisite test consisting of a normality test, a homogeneity test, a linearity test, and a multicollinearity test. Then continued with a hypothesis test consisting of a partial test (t test), a simultaneous test (F), multiple linear regression analysis, a determination coefficient test (R2) and a correlation coefficient test. The results showed that in the education level coefficient, the Tcount value <Ttable is 0.804 <1.97462, so H0 is accepted and Ha is rejected. This means that there is no influence of the level of parental education on student learning outcomes. In the income level coefficient, the Tcount value> Ttable is 2.348 <1.97462, so Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. This means that there is an influence of parental income level on student learning outcomes. While in the work coefficient, the Tcount value <Ttable is -1.616 <1.97462, so Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. This means that there is no influence of parental work on student learning outcomes. Then the probability value of significance (sig) <0.05 is obtained, namely 0.044 <0.05 and the Fcount value> Ftable is 2.762> 2.66, so Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. So it is obtained that there is an influence of parental socio-economic status on learning outcomes which can be shown from the value of the determinant coefficient (R square) of 0.048, meaning that the influence of the socio-economic status variable on learning outcomes is 0.048 or 4.8%. While the correlation value (R) is 0.220 or 22% which indicates a low level of relationship. From the above understanding, it can be concluded that there is an influence of parental socio-economic status on student learning outcomes (Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected).

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of cooperative learning models, namely Inside Outside Circle and Quis-Quis Trade, to improve the mathematics learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at UPT SDN 11 Makale. The research uses a qualitative descriptive method with a classroom action research design. The subjects of this study are 18 fifth-grade students. Data collection techniques include written tests, interviews, and observations. The results of this study indicate an improvement in student learning outcomes after implementing the Inside Outside Circle and Quis-Quis Trade models. The percentage of mastery in the first cycle reached 54.25%, which falls within the good criteria, while in the second cycle, it reached 83.75%, falling within the very good criteria.

Abstract

This research examines the implementation of environmental education at Pondok Pesantren Nurul Hakim Kediri, West Lombok. Environmental education has become increasingly important to be applied in Islamic educational institutions to shape an environmentally conscious generation. This case study employs a qualitative approach, utilizing interviews, observations, and document analysis. The research findings show that Pondok Pesantren Nurul Hakim has integrated environmental education concepts into the curriculum and daily activities of the students. Programs such as waste management, organic farming, and water conservation have become integral parts of education at this pesantren. These findings highlight the importance of a holistic approach to environmental education in Islamic educational institutions. However, challenges such as limited resources and lack of teacher training are still faced in its implementation. This study concludes that the integration of environmental education in pesantren can significantly contribute to shaping students' environmental awareness.

Abstract

The purpose of writing this article is to understand the different components of the Cambridge Curriculum and the Merdeka Learning Curriculum at Islamic Primary School so that it can make it easier for madrasas to be able to choose a curriculum that suits the needs of the Islamic Primary School. This research is qualitative research using a library study type of research. This research uses data collection techniques in the form of articles, books and notes from previous research results in both the Cambridge Curriculum and the Merdeka Belajar Curriculum. The data analysis technique in the research is analyzing the components, advantages and disadvantages of implementing the Cambridge Curriculum and the Merdeka Learning Curriculum in Islamic Primary School. The results of the research obtained by researchers are that the Merdeka Learning Curriculum and the Cambridge Curriculum have 12 (twelve) components, namely constituents, general & specific objectives, targets, learning approaches, focus, learning structure, teachers, students, emphasis, assessment, curriculum structure, language introduction, costs and recognition of the curriculum. The Cambridge Curriculum and the Merdeka Belajar Curriculum have their respective advantages and disadvantages. Therefore, a Islamic Primary School needs to consider the madrasah's vision & mission, student needs, existing resources and support from parents in selecting a curriculum that suits the Islamic Primary School's needs. The Cambridge Curriculum and the Merdeka Belajar Curriculum can be applied simultaneously at Islamic Primary School. The success of a curriculum is influenced by collaboration between teachers, parents and students.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the efforts of the Ministry of Education and Culture to improve the quality and relevance of graduates through the Independent Learning-Free Campus (MBKM) policy. The implementation of MBKM requires special attention to the development of the Islamic Religious Education Study Program (PAI) curriculum, including adjustments to Graduate Learning Outcomes (CPL), vision and mission, graduate profiles, courses, Body of Knowledge (BoK), and study language. The PAI curriculum development process also involves mapping courses according to categories, determining study materials, and descriptions to facilitate curriculum preparation. With an integrative approach, curriculum development at MBKM aims to achieve graduate competency standards from spiritual aspects and moral nobility. This document also highlights the importance of involving expert lecturers from various study programs in curriculum formulation, and emphasizes the need to determine courses to support the MBKM curriculum. Through a good curriculum development process, it is hoped that the PAI study program can produce graduates who are not only good at theory, but also able to excel in various other aspects.

Abstract

The study of this problem is about the use of IT-based learning media (information & technology) in SD Negeri 02 Nata, Bima Regency. This research aims to: 1) describe teachers' abilities in the use of technology-based learning media; 2) what media are used by teachers in the teaching and learning process; 3) problems and solutions made by teachers to overcome the problems of using IT-based learning media in PAI learning in schools. This research is a field research that uses a qualitative descriptive method, namely by describing the research object as it is. The data collection method uses observation, interviews, and documentation studies. In checking the validity of the data, the researcher used triangulation techniques, namely: triangulation of sources, techniques and time. The findings of the study show that: 1) teachers are able to adapt to the times in using IT-based learning media, but their application is still not optimal; 2) in learning tools, teachers have used technology-based media even though it has not varied, but in reality, in the learning process teachers only teach conventionally; 3) Problems faced by teachers include several factors such as the lack of knowledge and skills of teachers, the geographical condition of the area that is included in the medium-weak internet power zone, to the personal factors of teachers who still have the habit of teaching without using learning media. However, teachers at SD Negeri 02 Nata can carry out their obligations well even though they are not fully supported by technology-based learning media to the maximum.

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan hal yang sangat penting sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia. Kemampuan berpikir kritis mendasari kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi termasuk di dalamnya berpikir kreatif pemecahan masalah dan pengambilan Keputusan sehingga wajib dikuasai terlebih dahulu. Kemampuan pemahaman matematis adalah kemampuan peserta didik yang dapat memahami suatu konsep dengan baik. Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kemampuan berpikir kritis dan pemahaman matematis siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal system persamaan linear dua variable (SPLDV). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di MTS EX PGA UNIVA dengan menggunakan metode adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Teknik tes dan non tes. Instrumen penelitian meliputi instrument tes : kemampuan awal matematis, kemampuan berpikir kritis, intrumen tes pemahaman matematis, dan pedoman wawancara. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan adanya interaksi berkelanjutan antar guru dan siswa, secara data hasil nilai yang diperoleh siswa pada test awal mengalami peningatan setelah siswa di mendapatkan pembelajaran dengan model pemahaman matematis siswa, dimana nilai awal siswa sebelum melakukan pendekatan ini, nilai rata-rata siswa hanya 69,42 setelah melakukan pendekatan model pembelajaran pemahaman matematis siswa meningkat menjadi 80,76,berarti bahwa Model pembelajaran Pemahaman matematis siswa berpengaruh terhadap terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa.

Abstract

This article discusses Character Education in Two Countries with different cultural backgrounds, conditions and ideologies, namely China and Indonesia. For this reason, this analysis was made as a comparison of the implementation of character education in China and Indonesia with the aim that it can later be applied in character education planning that can be applied in schools. This analysis uses qualitative literature techniques, where information is collected from various cultural education journals and other sources related to the topic of discussion. The analysis found that two countries place character education as the main pillar in forming the education curriculum. However, there are differences in curriculum content, character interpretation, and implementation methods. China implements character education with Di Zi Gui literacy, which strengthens morals and character. And Indonesia implements character education through the values ​​of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project.

Abstract

Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan keterampilan guru MTs Islamiyah YPI Batang Kuis dalam merancang dan menggunakan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis nilai-nilai keislaman dalam mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Pelatihan ini dirancang untuk memperkenalkan para guru pada berbagai teknik dan aplikasi teknologi yang dapat mendukung penyusunan media pembelajaran yang relevan dan menarik bagi siswa. Metode kegiatan meliputi ceramah, demonstrasi, serta praktik langsung dalam pembuatan media pembelajaran. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa guru yang terlibat berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan dalam menciptakan media interaktif yang tidak hanya menyampaikan materi akademik, tetapi juga mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai keagamaan. Hal ini terbukti meningkatkan motivasi dan keterlibatan siswa dalam pembelajaran, serta memudahkan internalisasi nilai agama dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Meskipun terdapat kendala seperti keterbatasan sarana teknologi, pelatihan ini memberikan dampak positif dan signifikan terhadap kualitas pembelajaran di sekolah. Untuk pengembangan lebih lanjut, disarankan adanya pendampingan dan peningkatan sarana teknologi untuk mendukung penerapan media interaktif di kelas.
