Abstract

The Qur'an was sent down to understand the instructions for humans towards clear goals and straight paths by upholding the principles of life based on faith. The purpose of this study is to analyze the method of interpreting the Qur'an by parable, verbal symbolism, demonstrations, and visuals in the Qur'an. The research method used is library research. The results of the study show that Majaz is using lafadz to mean something other than the original meaning because it has something to do with the original meaning and there is a qorinah that points to it. For example, using the word "lafadz asad" not for wild animals, namely lions, as the original meaning, but for "rajulun suja" (a brave man), because there is a relationship between them being brave. Majaz can be related to words independently, such as the word "asad," which has its meaning transferred from an animal called "king of the jungle" to mean a brave person, or the attribution of an activity, or something similar to it, to something other than the perpetrator because of a connection with him. Meanwhile, verbal communication is communication that uses verbal symbols, both orally and in writing. Symbols or verbal messages are all kinds of messages that use one or more words.

Abstract

Human nature is a truth-seeking creature. In seeking the truth, knowledge is needed which requires reason. Reason is a very important tool for humans that differentiates them from other creatures. Both reason and the Qur'an are interconnected in Islamic science because the Qur'an always has brilliant answers to problems that exist on this earth. In line with the development of knowledge, studies related to reason and verses of the Qur'an are needed especially in responding to educational challenges. The results of this research show that: first, reason is the power of thought which if used can lead each individual to understand and solve the problems that are in his mind, second, reason has major implications for the goals of Islamic education which determine the success or failure of educators in achieving the goals of Islamic education.

Abstract

The moral crisis is the fading of attitudes, character and behavior that are sustainable with the goodness of each individual. The moral crisis that occurred among elementary school students, for example, was the loss of the culture of saying the words "sorry, please, excuse me and thank you". This is a basic thing in ethics, and now this basic thing in ethics has faded and is almost never heard of again. This happens because elementary school students do not do enough literacy and filter foreign cultures that enter Indonesia. This paper applies a qualitative descriptive method with a type of research in the form of library research, namely collecting information or scientific papers that have a relationship with literary literature reviews. The main purpose of this research is for the reader to understand what happened regarding the moral crisis in the millennial era at the elementary school level in comprehensive scientific research. By conducting character education for elementary school students and helping them to improve their morals, the moral crisis that is currently being faced can be corrected little by little and the positive impact will greatly affect the future of young people.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to elaborate on the basic methods of arguing, discussion, debriefing, and dialogue in the Qur'an as important methods in Islamic education. The research method used was library research; data were collected through observation and documentation and analyzed based on qualitative analysis. The results of the study show that the values of Islamic education are found in Surah Al-Anbiya verses 51–56: that Allah has provided very clear instructions for humanity and that humans need to be careful in using human potential, especially the eyes, ears, and heart/mind. In the context of gaining knowledge, it must be used as much as possible, in addition to the obligation to fulfill scientific mandates. The knowledge obtained is not a suggestion of arrogance but a means of doing good deeds. The values of Islamic education in the story of Prophet Ibrahim, as found in Surah Al-Anbiyâ verses 51-72, include: (1) Aqidah values; (2) Ukhuwah/hablunminannas values; and (3) Tawhid values. The morals demonstrated in Prophet Ibrahim's story are noble morals, both in dealing with his disbelieving father and his infidel people.(3) The educational value of thinking and discussing, as Prophet Ibrahim AS did in conveying the truth and correcting the mistakes of his people in worship by means of dialogue using logic and not in a selfish and fanatical way, (4) The value of education is gentle and argumentative, without violence. Prophet Ibrahim put forward da'wah arguments to invite his father and people to the truth.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the methods of advice and proverbs contained in Q.S. Yusuf, verse 111. This research is in the nature of library research, that is, research whose primary object is literature or library materials related to the problems studied from various literatures. This article applies the descriptive analysis method. The results of the research show that the story method can be taken from the story of Yusuf and also from other prophets. From this story, an "ibrah" (teaching) can be taken, namely the transition from the obvious to something hidden. While in the learning process, it is ordered to use three methods: first, wisdom, namely putting something in its appropriate (wise) place; second, mauidzah hasanah, which should be conveyed with sincere intentions, not cornering, and not conveyed in public; and third, jidal (discussion/sharing), which is a debate on one issue where each party conveys their arguments in a good way, or gently, and without a harsh tone.

Abstract

Online learning has become an alternative learning system during the COVID-19 pandemic, but in reality, online learning raises many problems in its implementation. Online learning is not only viewed negatively by some people, but also shows a wide digital divide in society, especially the economically disadvantaged, which ultimately results in educational inequality. Poor students and those who live in rural areas find it difficult to access online learning due to the absence of ICT facilities and difficulty getting internet signals. Education in Indonesia, which has embraced the neoliberal paradigm of competition since the beginning, eventually results in unfair competition in online learning due to the digital divide. This research aims to find out the extent of the digital divide and the education model in online learning implemented at the State Vocational High School (SMK) 1 Beringin, which then results in inequality in competition between students. This study also wants to see the resolution of economic disparities, and evaluate the competition system in education that is always discriminatory and only benefits some people, then rethinking a more humane education model.
