Abstract

Clean and healthy behavior for early childhood is carried out for the benefit of children and their families. Children are very vulnerable to transmission of the virus, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. The role of parents as the main actors to familiarize and set an example for children to always live clean and children's school teachers as counselors for children at school. This study aims to briefly describe the role of counselors in children's clean and healthy living behavior during the COVID-19 pandemic and in this new normal era. The research method uses the library method. The object of this research is obtained from scientific journals, theses, books, articles and other documents. The results showed that the role of counselors, parents, and teachers is needed to always give the best to children by maintaining cleanliness, always washing hands after carrying out any activities, utilizing individual defensive gear by continually wearing a veil, and expanding the youngster's resistant framework by giving nutritious food, counseling a nutritionist, taking kids to rest consistently and practicing routinely. Also, consistently cause youngsters to feel glad despite the fact that learning at school is redirected to internet learning, so kids don't feel exhausted.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the differences in children's listening skills before and after being treated with the storytelling method using pop-up book media and to determine whether or not there was an effect of storytelling method using pop-up book media on children's listening ability in Mentari Kindergarten, Kabupaten Mentari. Takalar. The approach in this research is quantitative with the type of research is Quasi Experimental Design. The population in this study were groups A and B in Mentari Kindergarten, Takalar Regency totaling 26 children and the sampling used was purposive sampling with 14 children, 7 children as the experimental group and 7 children as the control group. Data collection techniques used are tests, observations and documentation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis and nonparametric analysis. The results showed that there were differences in children's listening skills before and after being treated with the storytelling method using pop-up book media and there was an effect of storytelling using pop-up book media on children's listening skills in Mentari Kindergarten, Takalar Regency.

Abstract

The development of BMK (Basic Mathematics For Kids) media is very influential on the learning process of early childhood. The purpose of this study is to describe valid, practical, interesting, and effective BMK media through learning mathematics. Researchers used the type of Research and Development (R&D) method used to reveal qualitative and quantitative data (mix method) using data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and instruments. The results of the study were seen from media experts 89.7% with the feasibility test classified as valid, material experts 91.2% with the conformity test classified as very suitable, the responsive assessment of students 93.8% with observations classified as very responsive, and the development of learning outcomes from the assessment evaluation. based on 5 indicators including KB1 90%, KB2 91%. KC1 71%, and KC2 77%. This research can be concluded that product development through the trial phase shows the success of the media used in the mathematics learning process is varied-innovative. Also, the ability of the media has a major influence on children's thinking patterns logically-mathematically.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to describe use of role playing methods in developing early childhood social skills. This article uses a literature study method, data is collected through literature study from various references such as books and previous research result, then the data is analyzed descriptively. Early childhood is in the golden age where at that time all aspects of growth and development can grow and develop significantly, during the golden age it is necessary to provide appropriate stimulation acording to the phase of development, one of which is providing stimulation to the social-emotional aspect of early childhood. Social skills have a very big role in children’s lives because good social skills possessed by children will make it easier for children to interact with people around them. The results showed that role playing can develop early childhood social skills because in role playing there is interaction between individual with individual and individual with group where the interaction is part of social skills and these interaction activities can be used as a provision for children to socialize in the future.

Abstract

This research on the implementation of ethnoparenting has a crucial urgency in the uniqueness that exists in the archipelago. This study raises an interesting issue regarding the upbringing applied by the Baduy culture to children with the customary belief system adopted. Cultural values ​​that are in the area of ​​the Baduy-Lebak Banten tribe have become a hereditary tradition that is realized by parents to children with local customs. The purpose of this study was to determine the application or application of parenting culture in the Baduy tribe. The research method uses a literature study with a qualitative descriptive approach that is studied based on a description of the state of the nature or nature of the value of an object and certain symptoms. The results of the literature study reviewed by researchers describe the parenting applied by Baduy tribal parents implementing local cultural values ​​that have been carried out from generation to generation. This study illustrates that the application of parenting for early childhood in the Baduy Tribe still maintains the ancestral mandate, although the Outer Baduy has begun to adapt to the world of developments, the ancestral mandate is still maintained and preserved. Abstract

This title was chosen because the researcher wanted to know more about the process carried out by the teacher to develop children's social behavior through cat and mouse games in class B4 of Mendo Barat Pembina Kindergarten, where traditional cat and mouse games are usually played by elementary school children. This study used a qualitative descriptive method, with data sources obtained from primary data and secondary data. The data collection technique in this research used interview, observation and documentation techniques. While the data analysis technique uses data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. Based on the results of the study that the teacher's efforts in the cat and mouse game, namely applying the habituation method and the role-playing method from the teacher's efforts, children are able to develop social behavior with children being able to play together with friends, children are able to play their roles as cats, mice and cage players to games. ends, the child is able to show an attitude of responsibility, and the child is able to show an honest attitude and the child is able to cooperate with his friends while playing.

Abstract

There are various ways to improve early childhood memory, one of which is by memorizing the Qur'an. There are so many methods of memorizing the Koran that were developed to make it easier to memorize the Koran, including in Indonesia itself there are various methods, one of which is the One Day One Verse Method. The One Day One Verse method itself was first introduced by Ustadz Yusuf Mansur as the founder of Darul Qur'an. This study aims to identify the effect of the One Day One Verse method on improving the memory of children aged 5-6 years in TK MALIMPUNG. This study uses a quantitative approach with experimental methods, and the type of experiment used is quasi-experimental with a nonequivalent control group design. The population in this study were all students of group B TK MALIMPUNG. The sampling of this research used random sampling technique. The sample of this study were 36 children, 18 children as the experimental group and 18 children as the control group. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation, test, and documentation techniques. The data analysis technique used is the help of IBM SPSS Statistics 22. The data analysis method used is the t-test. Based on the results of the significance level, the results obtained are 0.767> 0.05. Based on the results of the data analysis, it can be concluded that there is no effect of memorizing the Qur'an using the One Day One Verse Method on the Memory Improvement of children aged 5-6 years

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of number lotto media to develop the ability to recognize numbers in children in group A1 at RA Khadijah 50 Sumberasri for the academic year 2021/2022, supporting factors and inhibiting factors for implementing number lotto media to develop ability to recognize numbers in children in group A1 in RA. Khadijah 50 Sumberasri for the academic year 2021/2022. This type of research uses descriptive qualitative research. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used Miles and Huberman. As for the validity of the data using Source Triangulation. The results showed that the number lotto media was very effective in developing the ability to recognize numbers in children in indicator 1) the child was able to say/mention a sequence of numbers 1-10. 2) the child is able to number by pointing to objects (recognize the concept of numbers with objects 1-10). 3) the child is able to show the order of objects for numbers 1-10. 4) the child is able to connect/pair number symbols with objects 1-10. The stages carried out by the teacher include: 1) Planning. 2) Implementation. 3) Evaluation. Of the 17 students of class A1 RA Khadijah 50 Sumberasri overall everything has improved, 14 children are developing very well in each indicator, 2 children are developing as expected in almost every indicator, 1 child is starting to develop in almost all indicators.

Abstract

Pre-mathematical classification is one aspect of cognitive development. Classification is important to introduce to train children to think logically from an early age and hone children's thinking power in managing information, namely observing the similarities and differences of objects so that they can add new knowledge for children. The purpose of this study was to stimulate children's pre-mathematical classification skills through color sorting games. Based on observations made at Khadijah Kindergarten 150, it was found that children's pre-mathematical classification abilities were still low because of the assumption that the compulsory learning in schools was reading, writing, and arithmetic. So that in learning activities the teacher only uses thematic books as the main learning resource, while the color sorting game is only used as a safety activity and is rarely applied. In this study using descriptive qualitative research from the data generated through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique uses the Miles and Huberman model. As for the validity of the data using Source Triangulation. The subjects in this study were principals and teachers of class A2, and children aged 4-5 years in group A2 at Khadijah 150 Kindergarten. Based on the results of research and data analysis carried out collaboratively between teachers and researchers resulted in the conclusion that the color sorting game can stimulate pre-mathematical classification skills (geometric shapes and colors) in children aged 4-5 years at Khadijah Kindergarten 150 in the 2021/2022 academic year optimally .

Abstract

This research is based on the idea that play activities are a necessity for children. Playing ball relay is a game that affects various factors including kinesthetic intelligence, because this game uses gestures. This research was motivated by the gap between the high activity of playing ball relay and the low kinesthetic intelligence. It can be seen from the response of children who like to follow the game and the child's ability is still not optimal in processing the body simultaneously. This study aims to determine: (1) Children's activities in playing ball relay; (2) Early childhood kinesthetic intelligence; and (3) The relationship between children's activities in playing ball relay with kinesthetic intelligence in group B RA Al-Hasanah, Bandung Regency. This study used quantitative correlation method, the subjects used were 22 people consisting of 12 men and 10 women, data collection techniques using observation. The results obtained by playing ball relay with an average score of 77 are well interpreted while kinesthetic intelligence with an average score of 75 is also well interpreted. Furthermore, the relationship between activity in ball relay play and early childhood kinesthetic intelligence obtained a correlation coefficient of 0.51 moderate correlation. In addition, there is a 26% contribution made by football relay activities to kinesthetic intelligence.
