Abstract

This study was motivated by the low fine motor skills of early childhood group B in RA Al Patwan, such as children who have not been able to do writing, holding pencils and scissors. The objectives of this study are 1.) to determine the fine motor skills of group B children in RA Al Patwa using diorama media (Experimental Group), 2.) to determine the fine motor skills of Group B children in RA Al Patwa using flannel board media (Control Group), 3.) to determine the difference in the use of diorama media and flannel board on fine motor skills of group B children in RA Al Patwa. This study used a quantitative approach through experimental methods with nonequivalent control group design. The subjects in this study were group B children in RA Al Patwa with a sample of 30 children. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques use validity tests, reliability tests, normality tests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis tests. The results showed that the fine motor skills of group B children in RA Al Patwa after using diorama media showed an average score in the experimental group when pretest 39 with failed qualifications and posttest of 75 with good qualifications. While the average score of the control group during the pretest was 41 with failed qualifications and posttest in the experiment was 69 with sufficient qualifications. The results on the t-test show a calculated t value of 17.789 greater than the table t of 2.048 which means Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. This shows that there is a significant effect with the use of diorama media on the fine motor skills of group B children in RA Al Patwa.

Abstract

The results of the preliminary study in Group B RA Al-Kautsar show that, there is a gap between the high STEAM-based learning activity and the quality of independence in some children. On the one hand, when carrying out STEAM-based learning activities children are motivated to learn independently, confidently. However, on the other hand there are some children who are still lacking in developing the quality of their independence. This situation can be seen when the child conveys the phrase "can't do it mom" or "how can mom" and even "I don't want to do it until it's finished mom". This study uses a quantitative approach and correlation method. Data collection techniques in this study through observation and documentation. The results of data analysis on the STEAM-Based Learning Activity variable (Variable X) obtained an average value of 74. This value is in the 70-79 interval with a good category. While the data analysis on the variable Quality of Early Childhood Independence (Variable Y) obtained an average value of 77. This value is in the 70-79 interval with a good category. The relationship between STEAM-Based Learning Activities and the Quality of Early Childhood Independence obtained the correlation coefficient through the Spearman Rank formula of 0.64. This correlation coefficient number is in the high category because it is in the interval 0.600-0.799. The results of the significance test obtained the price 𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑡𝑢𝑛𝑔 = 3.32 > 𝑡𝑡𝑎𝑏𝑒𝑙 = 2.12 at a significance level of 5% and db = 16 of 2.12. That is, Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, in other words, there is a positive and significant relationship between STEAM-based learning activities and the quality of early childhood independence.

Abstract

This research is based on the problems found, namely that there is a gap between the high activity of children using the kibar method and the low ability to read hijaiyah letters. This can be seen from the enthusiasm of the children when they took part in learning the Koran using the waving method in Group A RA At-Taqwa, Rajapolah District, Tasikmalaya Regency. The purpose of this study was to find out: 1) Children's activity in using the kibar method; 2) The ability to read hijaiyah letters for early childhood; 3) The relationship between children's activities in the use of the waving method and the ability to read hiajiyah letters in early childhood. This study uses a quantitative approach with the correlation method. The subjects in this study were 29 children of group A RA At-Taqwa, Rajapolah District, Tasikmalaya Regency. Data collection techniques used are observation, performance, and interviews. The results of the data analysis showed that the child's activity in the use of the kibar method obtained an average value of 78 in the very good category. Meanwhile, the ability to read hijaiyah letters for early childhood obtained an average value of 66 in the sufficient category. The relationship between children's activities in the use of the waving method and the ability to read hijaiyah letters in early childhood obtained a value of 0.6 in the strong/high category. The contribution given by variable X to variable Y is 36%.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the gap between high creativity in drawing through finger painting with low fine motor skills in early childhood. It can be seen that the creativity of drawing through finger painting basically already has the skills in drawing through fingers well. But in contrast to fine motor skills, children still have difficulty in developing fine motor skills when carrying out finger painting activities. This study aims to find out: (1) Creativity in drawing through finger painting in Group A of RA Az-Zahra Bandung Regency, (2) Fine motor skills of early childhood in Group A of RA Az-Zahra Bandung Regency and (3) The relationship between creativity in drawing through finger painting with fine motor skills of early childhood in Group A of RA Az-Zahra Bandung Regency. The research method used by researchers is quantitative research and the approach used is product moment correlation. The subjects of the study were group A RA Az-Zahra with a total of 18 children. Observation, interview and documentation data collection techniques. The data analysis techniques carried out are validity tests, reliability tests, normality tests, linearity tests, and hypothesis tests. Based on the results of the study that creativity in drawing through finger painting in Group A RA Az-Zahra Bandung Regency, has an average value of 77, is in the interval 70-79 which has good criteria. Early childhood fine motor skills in Group A RA Az-Zahra, Bandung Regency, have an average score of 74 being in the interval 70-79 which has good criteria. The results of the product moment correlation analysis, which obtained a correlation result of 0.593, at a significant level of 5% obtained a result of 0.593>0.468, the calculated r value was in the interval 0.400-0.599 the level of the relationship (moderate). Thus, it can be concluded that there is a (moderate) relationship between the creativity of drawing through finger painting with the fine motor skills of early childhood in Group A RA Az-Zahra, Bandung Regency.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the difference between the high drawing activity and low fine motor skills in early childhood in group B RA Al-Patwa Cicukang Bandung. This can be seen from the child’s response when doing drawing activities that are so enthusiastic. Meanwhile his fine motor skills are still not well developed. This can be seen when children do pre-writing activities, some children still have difficulty moving their hands flexibly. This study aims to determine: 1) Drawing activities on kite media; 2) Fine motor skills in early childhood; 3) The relationship between drawing activity on kite media and fine motor skills of early childhood in group B RA Al-Patwa Cicukang Bandung. This study also used a quantitative approach with the correlation method, with the research subjects being children in group B RA Al-Patwa Cicukang Bandung with a population of 15 children. Data collection techniques using observation and dokumentation. The result obtained in drawing activities in early childhood obtained an average value of 77. Meanwhile, fine motor skills obtained an average value of 80, both of wich are intended to develop as expected (BSH). Drawing activities on kite media also have an influence on fine motor skills of early childhood by 86,5%

Abstract

Teaching manners to early childhood is very important. In Indonesian government regulations, the character of manners for early childhood has been contained in the form of indicators that must be mastered by children at a certain age. But unfortunately there are several indicators of polite character that have not been mastered by group B children in RA Darul Makmur, namely 1.) Children are not used to shaking hands with teachers or friends, 2.) Children like to swear, 3.) The child likes to mock his friends, 4.) The child is not used to saying please, sorry and thank you, 5.) Children are not used to asking permission when borrowing 6.) The child likes to interrupt the teacher's whispering. The purpose of this study was to determine the application of playing akhlakul karimah snakes and ladder to improve the character of manners in group B children in RA Darul Makmur, as well as to determine the improvement of children's character manners after the implementation of the game. The type of research used is classroom action research. Data collection techniques use observation, documentation, and treatment. Data analysis techniques use descriptive qualitative and descriptive quantitative. The subjects in this study were group B children totaling 14 children. The results of this study show that the application of the snake and ladder game akhlakul karimah for grade B children in RA Darul Makmur is carried out in four stages, namely 1.) preparation, 2.) implementation, 3.) evaluation, 4.) observation of changes in children's behavior. Through the application of the snake and ladder game akhlakul karimah, the character of the manners of group B children in RA Darul Makmur has improved. This can be seen from the number of children who achieved completion in the pre-cycle stage as many as 5 children (35.71%), cycle 1 as many as 8 children (57.14%), and cycle 2 as many as 12 children (85.71%).

Abstract

Food is an important requirement for growth and development as an intermediary for the intake of nutrients needed by the body. Parents' perceptions greatly determine the provision of nutritional intake to children. This study observed how parents' perceptions based on education level and income towards providing nutrition through healthy food supplies. The research method uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews. Simple random sampling of 22 parents in Group B TK Alizah Surabaya. Data analysis techniques are described descriptively. The results showed that parents' perceptions based on their level of education were still low in fulfilling nutritional intake through healthy food supplies. It also shows the similarity of income-based perceptions of a lack of purchasing power for healthy food due to a lack of income.

Abstract

Children are very active learners and have their own world that is different from the adult world by building their own knowledge. The child's growth and development is greatly influenced by environmental conditions that create characteristics in children that must be understood by a teacher. Children's understanding and the development of the times also affect the mathematics learning system that becomes one of the competencies of a teacher to be able to help determine learning strategies and optimize them. The purpose of this study is to determine the strategies of mathematics learners based on the characteristics of children. The method used in this study is the study of literature. The results showed that the application of mathematics learning strategies in early childhood education starts from planning, namely understanding the characteristics of early childhood, deciding learning objectives, determining materials, and environmental settings. The implementation of education is supported by learning media and evaluation is carried out according to development indicators

Abstract

One of the early childhood social-emotional problems that often occur in school is shyness. Shyness tends to cause children to become less skilled, less confident, less able to interact socially and unable to adjust to their environment. So it takes the role of teachers in overcoming the shy nature of children at school. The purpose of writing the article is to illustrate the role of teachers in dealing with children's shyness through jumping rope games. This research uses a qualitative approach with a type of case study research (case study) and is descriptive. Data collection techniques in this study are interviews, observation and documentation. The results of this study showed that one shy child in group B saw an increase in his social-emotional development, the presence of painstaking teachers to overcome shy children through jumping rope games fostered self-confidence in children.

Abstract

Abstract Parents have an obligation to guide, direct and educate children. Therefore, parents must take care to raise and prepare for the future to come. Authoritarian parenting is a way in which parents educate children to continue to obey, not argue and to follow the directions that have been strictly determined by the parents. In this article, we will review the authoritarian parenting style of teenagers in the process of starting a family, where daily life activities are carried out firmly and swiftly, with obedience that must be carried out in starting a family. This research is a type of literature review research. Authoritarian parenting in adolescents is a parental method in which adolescent children are required to be bound by the rules applied within the family sphere. Adolescents are individuals aged 10-19 years who are divided into two terminations, namely early adolescents in the age range 10-14 years and late adolescents 15-19 years. Family is a small group in society consists of father, mother and children. Kata Kunci: Authoritarian Parenting, Teengers, Having A Family
