Abstract

This study aims to describe students’ attitudes towards Indonesian language learning in class VIII of SMP Negeri 2 Wadaga, West Muna Regency. A quantitative descriptive method was used with data collected through a structured Likert-scale questionnaire and classroom observations. The questionnaire included four response options: strongly agree, agree, disagree, and strongly disagree. The results revealed that most students expressed a strongly positive attitude toward learning Indonesian. Their responses indicated high enthusiasm for lessons, appreciation for teachers’ teaching methods, and recognition of the relevance of the learning materials to daily life. These findings demonstrate that students’ attitudes are shaped by the teacher’s instructional approach, engaging learning media, and meaningful content. In general, students’ strong agreement reflects a positive emotional and cognitive connection to the subject. The implication of this study is that teachers should maintain and strengthen interactive and contextual learning strategies to foster students’ positive attitudes and motivation toward Indonesian language learning.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the personality structure of Cakra in the novel Not Me by Cahya Maharani reviewed from Jung's archetype. The expected benefits of this study are that the results of this study are expected to broaden the author's knowledge and insight in analyzing the personality structure of characters in novels, are expected to provide understanding to readers so that they are always active in reading and exploring the personality structure of characters presented in literary works, and are expected to be a reference for other researchers who research similar objects. The method used is a qualitative descriptive method. The data source for this study is the novel Not Me by Cahya Maharani with a total of 300 pages published by PT Moka Media in 2021. Data collection was carried out using analytical reading techniques. This study uses a literary psychology approach. The results of this study indicate that the personality structure of Cakra in the novel Not Me by Cahya Maharani reviewed from Jung's archetypes, namely: (1) persona in the form of encouragement, strong image, cheerful child; (2) anima in the form of caring, empathy, compassion, attention, support, responsibility, sincerity, nurturing, and affection; (3) shadow in the form of trauma, wounds, loneliness, bullying, lack of self-confidence, darkness, fear, helplessness, loss of freedom, feeling insecure, anxiety, feeling left out, sadness, difficulty accepting oneself, painful memories, avoidance, anger, rejection, doubt, fragility, and hallucinations; (4) self in the form of reflection, acceptance, self-confidence, honesty, compassion, strong independence, awareness, empathy, and balance.

Abstract

The problem of this research is how is the level of resilience of Javanese language field vocabulary in the transmigration area of Wonua Raya Village, Toari District, Kolaka Regency. The purpose of this study is to describe the resilience of Javanese language field vocabulary in Wonua Raya Village, Toari District, Kolaka Regency. The type of research used is field research using qualitative analysis methods and supported by quantitative analysis. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and interviews. The results of the study showed that from 80 vocabularies submitted to 50 respondents, namely respondents of late adolescence (17-25) years and early adulthood (26-35) years regarding the resilience of Javanese language field vocabulary in Wonua Raya Village, Toari District, Kolaka Regency, data was obtained on the total number of vocabularies still known by respondents as many as 3,518 vocabularies with a percentage of 87.95% while the total number of unknown vocabularies was 482 vocabularies with a percentage of 12.05%. With this percentage, the Javanese vocabulary in the transmigration area of Wonua Raya Village, Toari District, Kolaka Regency is still considered to be resilient.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the values ​​of Sufism morals in the novel Bumi Cinta by Habiburrahman El-Shairazy. This study uses a literature study. A series of activities related to how to collect library data, reading and research materials in the process. Literature studies can be done with journals, books or other print/digital media related to previous research. The results of the study show that in the Bumi Cinta Novel there are Sufi moral values, including (1) Al-Taubah (Confession and regret for sins), (2) Al-Wara’ (Careful attitude or avoiding matters of subhat), (3) Al-Zuhud (Prioritizing the interests of the afterlife, (4) Al-Sabru (Resistance in facing trials or the nature of accepting fate), (5) Al-Faqir (Sense of need), (6) Al-Tawakal (Submitting matters to Allah, (7) Al-Ridha (Willing or Accepting), (8) Al-Mahabbah (Deep Love), (9) Al-Ma’rifat (Knowing Allah with all your heart).

Abstract

This thesis discusses the plot structure in the novel "Lelaki yang Membunuh Kenangan" by Faisal Tehrani. The problem in this research is how is the plot structure in the novel "Lelaki yang Membunuh Kenangan" by Faisal Tehrani? This research aims to describe the plot structure contained in the novel "Lelaki yang Membunuh Kenangan" by Faisal Tehrani. The data in this research is written data containing the plot structure in the novel "Lelaki yang Membunuh Kenangan" by Faisal Tehrani. The data source in this research is the novel "Lelaki yang Membunuh Kenangan" by Faisal Tehrani, published by Bentang Publisher (PT Bentang Pustaka) in 2019 with a thickness of 277 pages. The data collection techniques used in this research are reading techniques and note-taking techniques. Data analysis in this research uses an objective approach. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique uses the stages of data identification and data analysis. Based on the research conducted, the plot structure was found. Based on the data analysis, the following conclusions can be drawn. First, the situation stage. Second, the stage where the conflict arises for the characters. Third, the stage where the conflict escalates. Fourth, the climax occurs when the conflict reaches its optimal point. Fifth, the final resolution (ending) of all conflicts presented.

Abstract

This research investigates the character values found in the animated film Lorong Waktu and the film’s possible use in fourth-grade elementary school drama lessons. Applying qualitative content analysis on the selected episodes: Rantang Amanah, Terima Kasih Guru, Tolong Menolong, Koruptor, Malas Belajar, and Ngeprank, I found ten important character values: religiosity, honesty, discipline, hard work, independence, curiosity, love of reading, caring for the environment, social care, and responsibility. Among these, religiosity and responsibility are predominant. Because Lorong Waktu conveys important moral messages, the film is suitable for drama lessons. As drama activities, Ayo Bermain Peran and Ayo Mengamati can help students attitudinally and morally in a more integrated way. In conclusion, this research verifies the use of animated films in strengthening character education to other elementary school subjects.

Abstract

Media literacy has become a crucial competency, particularly for elementary school students, to effectively comprehend and evaluate information from diverse sources. The integration of media literacy into Indonesian language learning at the elementary level can enhance not only students’ communication skills but also their critical and creative thinking abilities. This study highlights the significance of embedding media literacy in Indonesian language education, focusing on its implementation through platforms such as television, video, and social media. By adopting this approach, students are encouraged to develop the capacity to identify, access, and assess relevant, high quality information while making wise use of media. Employing a descriptive qualitative method with a literature review, this research explores the role of media literacy in elementary education. Findings from the literature analysis and observations at SDN Cukanggalih II reveal that media literacy enriches Indonesian language learning, fosters creativity, and deepens students’ comprehension of texts and information. Moreover, media literacy contributes to nurturing students’ character, preparing them to be intelligent, discerning, and responsible in navigating the vast and dynamic flow of information in today’s digital environment.

Abstract

Peran guru dalam meningkatkan minat literasi siswa menjadi aspek fundamental dalam menciptakan ekosistem pendidikan yang berorientasi pada penguatan kemampuan berpikir kritis, kreatif, dan komunikatif. Literasi tidak hanya terbatas pada kemampuan membaca dan menulis, tetapi juga mencakup pemahaman, analisis, dan penerapan informasi dalam konteks kehidupan nyata. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran sentral guru dalam menumbuhkan budaya literasi di sekolah melalui pendekatan pembelajaran yang terarah bagi siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif, yang berfokus pada upaya memahami dan menafsirkan fenomena sosial melalui pengumpulan data naratif serta analisis deskriptif. Guru memiliki peran strategis sebagai fasilitator, motivator, perancang strategi, serta teladan dalam membentuk kebiasaan literasi yang berkelanjutan. Guru tidak hanya mengajarkan keterampilan teknis membaca dan menulis, tetapi juga menciptakan lingkungan belajar literatif melalui kegiatan seperti membaca bersama, menulis reflektif, serta diskusi berbasis teks. Selain itu, guru turut mengembangkan media pembelajaran inovatif, termasuk pemanfaatan teknologi digital untuk memperluas akses dan partisipasi siswa dalam kegiatan literasi. Kolaborasi antara guru, sekolah, dan orang tua terbukti menjadi faktor penting dalam menumbuhkan budaya literasi yang kuat. Dengan profesionalisme dan dedikasi guru, sekolah dapat melahirkan generasi pembelajar yang melek literasi, cerdas, dan adaptif terhadap tantangan global.

Abstract

Edutainment program Ruangguru Clash of Champions sebagai tayangan edukasi fenomenal dinilai memiliki citra positif yang berdampak terhadap pengembangan motivasi dan prestasi pelajar Indonesia. Tuturan mahasiswa berprestasi sebagai peserta program tersebut perlu dikaji untuk lebih banyak mengungkap pemaknaan tuturan implisit yang berdampak terhadap penguatan motivasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan mengidentifikasi fungsi implikatur mahasiswa berprestasi program Ruangguru Clash of Champions. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kualitatif. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian dilakukan dengan metode Simak yang didampingi Teknik SBCL (Simak Bebas Libat Cakap). Analisis data dilakukan dengan metode padan pragmatis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tuturan mahasiswa berprestasi dalam Ruangguru Clash of Champions mengandung berbagai fungsi implikatur, seperti asertif, ekspresif, direktif, komisif, dan deklaratif. Tuturan mengandung fungsi implikatur seperti harapan, permohonan, dan motivasi yang disampaikan peserta memberikan nilai positif, mendorong pemirsa untuk terus berusaha dan memperbaiki diri ketika menghadapi tantangan, serta mengajarkan pentingnya mengambil keputusan yang rasional dalam setiap situasi.
