Abstract

The scarcity and high price of subsidized fertilizers have become major obstacles to farmer productivity in Senanggalih Village. This study aims to educate the community on organic fertilizer production as an independent alternative solution by utilizing local waste. The method used was participatory training (learning by doing) involving 20 representatives of farmers and livestock breeders from each hamlet on January 19, 2026. The activity stages included theoretical socialization, practical demonstrations using livestock manure, burnt husks, EM4, and molasses, as well as an evaluation stage. The results showed a paradigm shift among farmers in viewing organic waste and an improvement in technical skills regarding the fermentation process. Based on evaluation data from questionnaires, this program achieved a very high level of satisfaction (100% on the agree and strongly agree scales) across all success indicators. In conclusion, this education is effective in increasing farmer independence and providing a concrete solution to the dependency on chemical fertilizers in Senanggalih Village.

Abstract

The implementation of the Village Information System (SID) represents a strategic step in enhancing the quality of administrative services through the digitalization of population data management. Prior to the SID implementation, Aikmel Village encountered various obstacles, including non-digitalized data management and manual administrative processes, which led to potential delays and recording errors. This article aims to describe the implementation of an OpenSID-based system to support administrative service efficiency through the Community Service Program (KKN) of the University of Mataram. The methodology employed includes participatory observation, population data updating and digitalization, technical assistance for village officials, and the evaluation of correspondence services. The results demonstrate a significant transformation from the initial absence of a digital database to an integrated system with 9,499 successfully digitalized population records. The utilization of SID supports administrative services with an average of seven documents processed per workday, while simultaneously improving service time efficiency, digital archiving organization, and data access accuracy. The success of this implementation is influenced by the quality of data digitalization, infrastructure readiness, and the active involvement of village officials in system management. The implementation of SID contributes to the strengthening of data-based village administrative governance and holds sustainable potential in supporting transparency and more effective village development planning.

Abstract

Tanak Beak Village possesses abundant potential in candlenut and Sacha Inchi bean commodities; however, their utilization remains suboptimal due to the community's dependence on selling raw materials at low market prices. This study aims to transform these local commodities into flagship products through processing training programs and digital marketing strategies to improve the community's economic welfare. The community service method was implemented through the University of Mataram's KKN PMD program over 45 days, encompassing preparation (surveys and interviews), implementation (product diversification and seminars), and evaluation stages. Research instruments included observation sheets, interviews, and pre- and post-test questionnaires. The results indicate that food technology intervention successfully processed candlenuts into "Packaged Roasted Candlenuts" and Sacha Inchi Bean into snack products. Evaluation via n-gain scores showed a significant increase in participants' knowledge, rising from an average of 50.30 to 94.03, with an effectiveness value of 0.88 (high category). From an economic perspective, a 10-day market trial demonstrated high interest, with sales exceeding 50 product packages. Furthermore, graphic design training using Canva and social media marketing proved effective in expanding market reach. This program has successfully provided concrete solutions for the community in increasing the added value of local products and fostering digital-based economic independence.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the efficiency of the distribution chain and marketing margin of subsidized fertilizers from distributors to farmers in Kayangan District, North Lombok Regency. The research used a quantitative descriptive approach with a case study method. Data were collected through structured interviews, observation, and documentation involving 9 fertilizer retail kiosks selected using purposive sampling. Data analysis was conducted using marketing margin analysis, price efficiency ratio at the retailer level compared to the government's Highest Retail Price (HET), and business efficiency (R/C ratio). The results show that the subsidized fertilizer distribution chain involves distributors, retail kiosks, and farmers, following the RDKK system and the government's Highest Retail Price (HET) regulation. The marketing margin is relatively low, ranging from IDR 68.2 to IDR 218.2 per kg. The average R/C ratio of 5.50 indicates that the fertilizer retail business is economically efficient and highly profitable. The price efficiency ratio at the retailer level shows that most kiosks sell at prices close to or in line with the government's HET, indicating a transparent margin structure. Overall, the subsidized fertilizer distribution chain in the study area can be considered efficient based on marketing margin, price transparency, and business efficiency indicators.
