Abstract

Physics learning, especially for abstract material such as momentum and impulse, often faces challenges related to the limitations of conventional teaching media that hinder in-depth exploration and active student participation. This practical research aims to describe the practical strategy of introducing a Multimodal Approach Integrated E-Student Worksheet (e-LKPD) and analyze its potential as a driver of student engagement at SMAN 1 Mataram. The method applied was a practice-based approach, integrated with the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model, conducted through stages of Preparation, Implementation, and Practical Reflection on students of Class XI IPA 1. Observational results indicate that the activity ran smoothly and received a very positive response. The Multimodal e-LKPD, with the integration of features such as PhET Interactive Simulation, contextual videos, and text and infographics, proved to be an effective strategy serving as a strong catalyst for active participation. This was evident from the increased enthusiasm and student initiative to attempt experimental scenarios beyond the guidelines. In conclusion, this e-LKPD successfully transformed static teaching media into a trigger for curiosity and support for self-directed learning, proving its role as a superior contextual solution in line with the demands of the Merdeka Curriculum.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of ethnoparenting socialization at PAUD Al-Hidayah, North Lombok, aimed at evaluating parents’ understanding of the importance of integrating local cultural values into early childhood care. A qualitative descriptive approach was applied through participatory observation, documentation study, and group discussions. Findings indicate that the program successfully enhanced parental awareness of core values such as religiosity, cultural identity, connection with nature, communal cooperation, and the father’s role in child-rearing. These results align with various ethnoparenting studies across Indonesia, including those in Kapuas Hulu, Madura, Sundanese, Minangkabau, and Pamona communities, which emphasize the importance of local wisdom in shaping children’s character. Therefore, ethnoparenting socialization can be considered an effective strategy to strengthen family education in frontier, outermost, and disadvantaged regions.

Abstract

Writing scientific articles is an important skill for students. Students must publish their completed community service activities (KKN) in a journal system. However, field findings indicate that many students still experience obstacles and lack a profound understanding of writing and publishing scientific articles. This activity was presented with the aim of providing students with an understanding of writing scientific articles and publications. Participants were general students from various universities. The training was conducted online using the Google Meet platform. The training lasted two days, with an additional day to receive the articles that had been written and published. Data collection techniques used triangulation (observation, interviews, and documentation) with the additional assistance of a questionnaire. The results of the activity indicated that the training participants experienced an increased understanding of writing scientific articles. Participants felt helped and were enthusiastic about writing scientific articles without significant anxiety. Many of their articles were published in nationally accredited journals.

Abstract

Digital transformation in education requires elementary school teachers to have the skills to design interactive, game-based learning media. This community service activity aims to empower teachers through intensive training and mentoring in creating PowerPoint-based learning media integrated with game-based learning principles. The training consisted of four main sessions covering digital literacy, utilizing PowerPoint features, designing game elements, and interactive media simulations and demonstrations. The results of the activity demonstrated an increase in teacher competency, with an average score increase of 40–50% from pre-test to post-test. All participants successfully produced interactive learning media, and a satisfaction rating of 4.6/5. This program also encouraged the formation of teacher learning communities and the continued development of innovative learning media. This activity had a positive impact on improving teacher digital literacy and student engagement in learning, and has the potential to be replicated in other schools.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to enhance the spiritual understanding of the Jamaah Tarekat at Majelis Zikir Miftahul Bayan in Gapura Village, Pujut District, Central Lombok Regency. The activity was conducted on September 14, 2025, at Ponpes Miftahul Bayan, involving approximately 100 participants. Before implementation, coordination was established with the leaders of Tarekat Naksabandiyah to finalize the program’s model, schedule, and venue. The session commenced with opening remarks from the Chairperson of the Universitas Mataram service team and the leader of Tarekat Naksabandiyah. The core activity consisted of lectures preceded by zikir, selawatan, and zikir ngaji. The lectures focused on tasawuf (Sufism) teachings, which are characterized by expressions rich in symbols and metaphors, necessitating specialized interpretation for the jamaah. This is particularly significant given that the Jamaah Tarekat Naksabandiyah possesses a heterogeneous socio-cultural background, comprising farmers, traders, laborers, and the unemployed, alongside generally low levels of formal education. In this context, the lecture via zikir ngaji was delivered through pepaosan, the traditional recitation of lontar (palm-leaf) manuscripts containing tasawuf doctrines. A distinct feature of Sasak Sufi literature is its highly aesthetic and metaphoric linguistic style, which carries profound spiritual depth. Due to the complexity of such language and its inherent sufistic aspects, a competent teacher is required to provide comprehensive explanations to the congregation.
