Abstract

This research was conducted based on problems, namely, teachers do not use learning media during learning activities, teachers lack understanding and skill in developing technology-based learning media, teachers do not understand how to make learning media appropriate to learning, teachers do not use various learning models in the learning process. , students become passive because learning activities still focus on the teacher's explanation. The aim of this research is to determine the validity of the appropriateness of the material, the appropriateness of the media, to determine the practicality of the media, to determine the effectiveness of Case Method-based learning media using Google Slides which was developed for elementary school students in class IV SDN 158490 Aek Tolang 2 T.P 2023/2024. The research method used is the 4D development model, which consists of Define, Design, Development and Dissemination. The results of the validation research for material experts, media experts and practicality experts were 81%, 87%, 86% with qualifications that were very feasible and practical to use without revision. The results of the pre-test and post-test carried out in class IV showed that the results of the 16 students who took the pre-test were 11 students who had not completed it and 4 students who had completed it with a percentage of 57.8%, while the results of the post-test were 16 students. which is 89% complete. Based on class completeness calculations, the media effectiveness presentation was 87.5% with completeness criteria of 81%-100% categorized as very effective.

Abstract

Mathematics lessons in elementary schools tend to be less than optimal, this is due to the choice of learning models used which are not student-centred. This attracted the attention of researchers so that they could determine the effect of the STAD type cooperative learning model on the mathematics learning outcomes of class V students at SD Negeri 104607 Sei Rotan T.A 2023/2024. This research is quantitative research using quasi-experimental research. The instrument used is a multiple choice test with a total of 20 questions. Research findings say that learning outcomes by applying the STAD type cooperative learning model get an average score of 82.10, while conventional learning outcomes get an average score of 68.42. Based on the results of hypothesis testing using the t-test, it shows that at the 0.05 significance level it was found that 𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑡𝑢𝑛𝑔 > 𝑡𝑡𝑎𝑏𝑒𝑙 (5.412 > 1.684), then H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted, meaning that there was an influence on the learning outcomes of students who were taught using the STAD Type Cooperative learning model. Abstract

The low memorization capacity of students in the mathematics subject of multiplication material is caused by several factors, such as learning activities that are still teacher-centered and do not involve students actively, and the learning methods used are less varied. Efforts to improve students' memorization ability are by applying the Jarimatika learning method. This research aims to improve the ability to memorize mathematical multiplications for class III students using the Jarimatika learning method. The method used in this research is quantitative research with Quasi Experimental. From the results of the pretest and posttest for the two research classes, namely the experimental class which was given treatment and the control class which was not given treatment, it can also be seen in the attachment for the scores for each research class, the improvement and the differences between classes given treatment and not given treatment t_count > t_table namely 7.529 > 1.678, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. This shows that there is an influence of using the Jarimatika learning method on increasing memory for memorizing multiplications with the average increase obtained being 42.45% before the Jarimatika learning method was carried out, and 84.85% after the Jarimatika learning method was carried out. Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the flipped classroom teaching model of procedural text material on the learning outcomes of class V of SDN 1 Turpuk Limbong. This study uses the Pre-Experimental method with one group pretest “ posttest Design. The subjects used in this study in this study are class V which totals 22 people. The tool used to collect data in this study is the results of student learning tests in the form of multiple choice as many as 25 questions. The data analysis techniques used are normality tests and hypothesis tests, namely t-tests. The results of the study showed that there was a comparison of the average pretest score of 55 and the posttest score of 81.182. Based on the results of the hypothesis test carried out with a significant α = 0.05, a table of 1.717 was obtained. Therefore, it can be concluded that Ha is accepted with the statement that there is an influence of the use of the Flipped classroom learning model of procedural text material on the learning outcomes of class V of SDN 1 Turpuk Limbong.

Abstract

This research was carried out with the aim of finding out the effect of the CIRC learning model on reading comprehension skills in class V students at SD Negeri 106456 Bantan Village.  This research uses a quantitative pre-experimental approach type one group pretest-posttest design. Researchers use observation, tests, and documentation in collecting data. The subjects in this research were 27 class V students of SD Negeri 106456 Bantan Village, 12 men and 15 women. The low reading comprehension ability of students is the reason researchers conducted this research, this can be seen from the learning achievements of students who have not yet reached the KKM. This is because the learning activities carried out are not optimal. Students just read the text without any activities that enable them to understand the content of the reading. The learning model applied is also monotonous and results in students being less interested. Therefore, researchers will apply the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) learning model. The research results show that students' reading comprehension abilities have increased after using the CIRC learning model. This can be seen from the average student pretest score of 49.26 and the average student posttest score of 80.00 after the CIRC learning model was implemented. During the pretest, only 7.4% of students were classified as complete. However, at the time of the posttest, 81.48% of students were classified as complete.Keywords: Reading Comprehension, Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) Learning Model, Indonesian

Abstract

The aim of this research is to reveal the influence of the role of parents on student independence. This research will discuss the role of parents and student independence. This type of research is quantitative using the ex post facto method. The population in this study were fifth grade students at SD Gugus 35, Onanrunggu District, Samosir Regency with a sample size of 40 students. The sampling technique uses simple random sampling. Data collection techniques used questionnaires and interviews. Data was collected using a questionnaire directly in the field using a shift system, which consisted of a statement of the parental role variable (X) and a statement of the independence variable (Y). Then the data was processed using SPSS version 2.0. The phenomenon that occurs at SD Gugus 35, Onanrunggu District, Samosir Regency is that there are students who are able to make decisions and solve the problems they face themselves. However, there are also students who are still afraid to make decisions and solve their own problems, and to solve these problems students are assisted by their parents. The role of parents is the method used by parents so that later they can become a guide for their children. The role of parents is to help students develop student independence. of 0.133 or 13.3%in the quite strong category. For every additional 1!^ value of the role of parents as a variable (X), student independence (Y) will decrease by 0.021 and vice versa. Looking at the ANOVA table, it is known that Sig is 0.021. So 0.021 <0.05, it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning that there is a significant influence of the parental role variable on the independence variable of class V students at Gugus 35 Elementary School, Onanrunggu District, Samosir Regency.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of the web-based wordwall application media on learning science and science material, My Indonesia is Rich in Culture to improve the learning outcomes of class IV students at SD N 104204 Sambirejo Timur T.A 2023/2024. The population in this study was class IV students at SD N 104204 East Sambirejo, consisting of 2 classes, namely class IV-A and IV-B, each of which class IV-A had 22 students and class IV-B had 22 students. The research sample used the Total Sampling technique, namely using the entire existing population. This type of research is a quasi experimental design using a Pretest-Posttest Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Before conducting research, the research instrument was tested, namely testing the validity, reliability, distinguishability and difficulty of the instrument. The next stage the two sample classes will be given a pretest (initial test), then the experimental class will be given treatment using the wordwall application media and the control class will use the conventional method (lecture) and the next stage will be given a posttest (final test). Based on the results of the normality test, the significance result was 0.130, followed by the homogeneity test, the significance result was 0.832 and the results of the hypothesis test stated that there was an influence with a significance value of 0.001. So it can be concluded at the final stage through hypothesis testing that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of powtoon-based learning media on the mathematics learning outcomes of class V students at public elementary school 177076 Lumban Nabolon T.A 2023/2024. This type of research is Pre-Experimental Design in the form of One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. In this research, the research subjects were 32 students in class V of SD Negeri 177076 Lumban Nabolon. During the research, the researcher gave a pre-test to the subjects after which the subjects were given treatment using powtoon-based learning media. Research data was obtained from test results and analyzed using immersion analysis tests and hypothesis testing using the t-test. The average pre-test result was 53.28 and the average post-test result was 75.62. These results indicate that there is an influence of learning media on the mathematics learning outcomes of class V students at SD Negeri 177076 Lumban Nabolon. The results of the pre-test post-test t-test obtained a p value of 0.001 < 0.05. These results indicate that the learning media applied has a significant influence on improving student learning outcomes, where student learning scores using Powtoon-based learning media are higher.

Abstract

This research was carried out with the aim of finding out the effect of the quantum learning model on the learning outcomes of Natural and Social Sciences in the livelihood material of the population in Class IV of SD Negeri 106810 Sampali. The type of research used is Pre-Experimental with a One Group Pretest-Posttest research design. The subjects in this research were 40 students in class IV. The data collection techniques used were interviews, test questions and documentation. Data analysis was carried out using normality tests, homogeneity tests and hypothesis tests. The results of the research show that the average of the pre-test scores is 61,875 and the average of the post-test data is 72,625. Based on the students' scores on the post-test data it is known There were 20 students who got grades in the complete category after being given treatment. In the hypothesis test, it was obtained 6,254>1,684 and according to the t test criteria, namely > . It can be concluded that this proves that the application of the Quantum Learning learning model has an influence on the learning outcomes of Natural and Social Sciences in the subject of population livelihoods in class IV of SD Negeri 106810 Sampali.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out whether or not there is an influence and effectiveness of the use of the show and tell method on the speaking skills of grade IV students of SDN 104208 Cinta Rakyat. This study is a quantitative research with pre-experimental design (nondesigns) and one group pretest posttest form. The research population is all grade IV students of SDN 104208 Cinta Rakyat totaling 65 people divided into three classes. The experimental class used is class IVB. The technique for determining samples is by purposive sampling, where samples are determined through certain requirements and criteria. Through data analysis, it was shown that the results of students' speaking skills were categorized as good, meaning that students' speaking skills were influenced by the show and tell learning method, which occurred due to the increase in the average score of students' speaking skills.Based on the average pre-test score obtained by grade IVB students, which was 43.35 and the average post-test score of 86.53, there was an improvement in speaking skills. Supported by hypothesis testing the t-test shows Asymp.Sig.( Two-Sided)= 0.001 is smaller than α=0.05. Through the N-Gain Test with the calculation of N-Gain, the minimum score of 0.60 and the maximum score of 1.00 resulted in a mean score of 0.7721 so that it is in the high or increasing category. Therefore, it can be concluded that the show and tell method has an effect and is effective on the speaking skills of grade IV students of SDN 104208 Cinta Rakyat.
