Abstract

Insekta pohon berperan penting bagi keberlangsungan ekosistem di kebun campuran, sehingga persebaran insekta pohon perlu dijaga. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui spesies insekta pohon, yang dilihat dari indeks keanekaragaman, dan indeks dominansi insekta pohon di kebun campuran Gampong Meunasah Raya, Kecamatan Jangka Buya, Kabupaten Pidie Jaya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode survei langsung dan pendekatan secara kuantitatif deskriptif. Tekhnik pengambilan sampel menggunakan bait trap dan hand collecting. Analisis data menggunakan rumus indeks keanekaragaman Shannon-Wiener dan indek dominansi Simpson. Hasil penelitian ditemukan 10 spesies insekta pohon yaitu Camponotus compressus, Dolichoderus thoracicus, Camponotus sansabeanus, Oecophylla smaragdina, Camponotus barbaricus, Solenopsis invicta, Lasius niger, Poecilus versicolor, Chilocorus renipustuatus dan Scutiphora pedicellata. Indeks keanekaragaman insekta pohon di kebun campuran yaitu (H’) = 1,411-1,936 dan indeks dominansi yaitu (C) = 0,148-0,269. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan bagi petani dalam mengelola kebun campuran dengan cara yang ramah lingkungan tanpa merusak ekosistem. ABSTRACT Tree insects play an important role in the sustainability of mixed garden ecosystems, so their existence must be well maintained. This study aims to determine the species of tree insects, diversity index, dominance index in Gampong Meunasah Raya, Jangka Buya District, Pidie Jaya Regency. This study used a survey method with a bait traps and hand collecting. Tree insects were analyzed using the Shannon-Wiener diversity index formula and Simpson dominance index. The results of the study found 10 species of tree insects, namely Camponotus compressus, Dolichoderus thoracicus, Camponotus sansabeanus, Oecophylla smaragdina, Camponotus barbaricus, Solenopsis invicta, Lasius niger, Poecilus versicolor, Chilocorus renipustuatus and Scutiphora pedicellata. The diversity index of tree insects in mixed gardens is (H’) = 1,411-1,936 and the dominance index (C) = 0,148-0,269. The result ot this studi are expected to be for farmer in managing mixed gardener in an environmentally frendly the ecosystem.

Abstract

Teknologi geospasial berperan penting dalam pembelajaran geografi karena mendukung pengembangan kemampuan berpikir spasial peserta didik. Namun, pemanfaatannya bergantung pada kompetensi guru dalam memahami dan menguasai teknologi tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pemahaman, penguasaan, pemanfaatan, serta kendala guru geografi SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Bireuen dalam penggunaan teknologi geospasial. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman dan penguasaan guru terhadap teknologi geospasial masih terbatas, terutama pada penggunaan peta digital dan citra satelit sebagai media pembelajaran. Pemanfaatannya belum terintegrasi secara optimal dalam proses pembelajaran dan masih berfokus pada penyampaian materi. Kendala utama meliputi terbatasnya pelatihan, sarana dan prasarana, serta waktu untuk pengembangan profesional. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pelatihan berkelanjutan dan dukungan institusional guna meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam mengimplementasikan teknologi geospasial secara efektif. ABSTRACT Geospatial technology plays a crucial role in geography education because it supports the development of students’ spatial thinking skills. However, its utilization depends on teachers’ competence in understanding and mastering this technology. This study aims to analyze the understanding, mastery, utilization, and challenges faced by high school geography teachers at public high schools in Bireuen Regency regarding the use of geospatial technology. The study employed a descriptive qualitative approach, using interviews and observations as data collection techniques. The results indicate that teachers’ understanding and mastery of geospatial technology remain limited, particularly regarding the use of digital maps and satellite imagery as teaching aids. Their utilization has not been optimally integrated into the learning process and remains focused on the delivery of subject matter. The main constraints include limited training, facilities and infrastructure, and time for professional development. Therefore, ongoing training and institutional support are needed to enhance teachers’ competencies in effectively implementing geospatial technology.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran TGT berbantuan short card dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian eksperimen dengan metode kuantitatif desain Nonequivalent Control Group Design. diawali dengan perencanaan dan penyusunan instrumen,kemudian validasi instrumen dilanjutkan pemberian pretest pada kedua kelompok, kemudian perlakuan diberikan pada kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol. diikuti posttest pada keduanya, lalu data dianalisis untuk melihat pengaruh perlakuan. Populasi penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas X MAN 3 Parigi dan sampel yang digunakan sebanyak dua kelas yaitu kelas Xb dan Xc dengan jumlah 22 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. hasil penelitian menunjukkan data nilai rerata kelas eksperimen setelah diuji terdapat perbedaan yaitu, posttest kelas kontrol 77.63 dan posttest kelas eksperimen 80.45. sedangkan nilai signifikan berdasarkan rumus kolmogrov-smirnov (sig 2-tailed) sebesar 0,0188<0,05. Maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima artinya terdapat peningkatan signifikansi sebelum ada perlakuan dan sesudah ada perlakuan menggunakan model pembelajaran TGT. keseluruhan indikator berpikir kreatif mengalami peningkatan sebesar 87,74% dan respon siswa terhadap penerapan model TGT menunjukkan 94% tanggapan yang positif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran TGT dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa kelas X pada pelajaran geografi mengalami perubahan yang signifikan. ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the TGT learning model assisted by short cards in improving students' creative thinking skills. This study used an experimental research design with a quantitative Nonequivalent Control Group Design method. It began with planning and preparing the instruments, followed by instrument validation and a pretest for both groups. The treatment was then administered to the experimental and control groups, followed by a posttest for both groups. The data was then analysed to determine the effect of the treatment. The population of this study consisted of Grade X students at MAN 3 Parigi, and the sample used consisted of two classes, namely Class Xb and Class Xc, with a total of 22 students as the experimental and control classes. The results of the study showed that there was a difference in the average scores of the experimental class after testing, with the control class post-test score being 77.63 and the experimental class post-test score being 80.45. Meanwhile, the significant value based on the Kolmogorov-Smirnov formula (sig 2-tailed) was 0.0188<0.05. Therefore, H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted, meaning that there was a significant increase before and after the treatment using the TGT learning model. Overall, creative thinking indicators increased by 87.74%, and student responses to the application of the TGT model showed 94% positive responses. The results of the study indicate that the use of the TGT learning model in improving the creative thinking skills of Year 10 students in geography lessons has undergone significant changes.

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan salah satu faktor utama dalam pembangunan sumber daya manusia yang berkelanjutan dan menjadi bagian penting dalam konsep Education for Sustainable Development (ESD). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis partisipasi dan keberlanjutan pendidikan masyarakat desa di wilayah 3T dalam perspektif Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) untuk mendukung pencapaian SDG 4. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei deskriptif. Lokasi penelitian mencakup lima desa di Kabupaten Simeulue dan Aceh Singkil. Data dikumpulkan melalui dokumentasi sensus pendidikan desa yang meliputi jumlah penduduk serta partisipasi pendidikan pada jenjang SD, SMP, SMA, dan perguruan tinggi. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan statistik deskriptif berupa persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa partisipasi pendidikan pada jenjang SD dan SMP tergolong tinggi, namun menurun pada jenjang SMA dan perguruan tinggi. Penurunan ini dipengaruhi oleh keterbatasan ekonomi, akses pendidikan, dan pilihan bekerja. Disimpulkan bahwa keberlanjutan pendidikan di wilayah 3T masih menjadi tantangan dalam mendukung SDG 4, sehingga diperlukan intervensi kebijakan yang berkelanjutan. Kata kunci: Partisipasi Pendidikan, Keberlanjutan Pendidikan, Wilayah 3T, Education for Sustainable Development (ESD), SDG-4 ABSTRACT Education is a fundamental factor in the development of sustainable human resources and constitutes an essential component of Education for Sustainable Development (ESD). This study aims to analyze educational participation and sustainability in rural communities within 3T (underdeveloped, frontier, and outermost) areas from an ESD perspective to support the achievement of SDG 4. The study employs a quantitative approach using a descriptive survey method. The research was conducted in five villages located in Simeulue and Aceh Singkil Regencies. Data were collected through documentation of village educational census records, including population data and educational participation at primary, junior secondary, senior secondary, and higher education levels. Data analysis was performed using descriptive statistics in the form of percentages. The results indicate that educational participation at the primary and junior secondary levels is high, but declines at the senior secondary and higher education levels. This decline is influenced by economic constraints, limited access to education, and the decision to enter the workforce. It is concluded that educational sustainability in 3T areas remains a challenge in supporting SDG 4, thus requiring sustained policy interventions. Abstract

Gempa bumi merupakan salah satu bencana alam yang menimbulkan dampak besar terhadap aspek kemanusiaan, ekonomi, dan lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan memetakan perkembangan riset global mengenai manajemen bencana gempa bumi melalui analisis bibliometrik berbasis data Scopus periode 2014–2024. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan bibliometrik kuantitatif. Data dikumpulkan dari basis data Scopus menggunakan strategi pencarian TITLE-ABS-KEY pada publikasi periode 2014–2024, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan VOSviewer versi 1.6.20 dan Biblioshiny untuk mengidentifikasi tren publikasi, penulis dan negara kontributor utama, kolaborasi penulis, serta struktur tematik penelitian. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan publikasi yang signifikan terutama pada tahun 2023–2024. Jepang, Tiongkok, Amerika Serikat, dan Indonesia menjadi negara kontributor utama. Analisis tematik mengidentifikasi tiga klaster utama, yaitu respons sosial, pendekatan teknis dan analitis, serta perspektif bahaya dan lokasi. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa riset manajemen bencana gempa bumi berkembang ke arah pendekatan multidisipliner dengan pola kolaborasi dan struktur tematik yang semakin terorganisasi. ABSTRACT Earthquakes are among the most destructive natural hazards, causing substantial human, economic, and environmental losses worldwide. This study aimed to map global research trends in earthquake disaster management using a bibliometric analysis of Scopus-indexed publications from 2014 to 2024. The analysis identified publication trends, leading authors and countries, collaboration networks, and thematic structures. The findings demonstrated a significant increase in publication output, particularly during 2023–2024. Japan, China, the United States, and Indonesia emerged as the leading contributing countries. Thematic analysis revealed three major clusters encompassing social response, technical and analytical approaches, and hazard and location perspectives. The results indicate that earthquake disaster management research has evolved toward a multidisciplinary field characterized by increasingly structured thematic development and international collaboration.

Abstract

Fenomena Blood Moon merupakan gerhana Bulan total yang dipengaruhi oleh kondisi atmosfer Bumi. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis proses terjadinya Blood Moon serta keterkaitannya dengan kondisi atmosfer dan cahaya langit malam. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi literatur dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Populasi sumber data penelitian berupa publikasi ilmiah tentang Blood Moon, atmosfer Bumi, dan cahaya langit malam, dengankan sampel dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui penelusuran Google Scholar dan sumber resmi lainnya menggunakan instrumen berupa jurnal ilmiah, artikel penelitian, dan dokumen resmi. Analisis data dilakukan melalui identifikasi, seleksi, reduksi, interpretasi, dan sintesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Blood Moon terjadi akibat pembiasan dan hamburan cahaya Matahari oleh atmosfer Bumi sehingga Bulan tampak merah saat gerhana Bulan total. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa kondisi atmosfer menentukan warna Bulan dan kecerahan langit malam. Pada penelitian selanjutnya disarankan menggunakan data observasi langsung dan data meteorologi untuk meningkatkan akurasi analisis. ABSTRACT The Blood Moon phenomenon is a total lunar eclipse influenced by conditions in Earth’s atmosphere. This study aims to analyze the process by which a Blood Moon occurs and its relationship to atmospheric conditions and night sky brightness. This study employs a literature review using a qualitative descriptive approach. The population of data sources consists of scientific publications on the Blood Moon, Earth’s atmosphere, and night sky light, with samples selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected through searches on Google Scholar and other official sources using instruments such as scientific journals, research articles, and official documents. Data analysis was conducted through identification, selection, reduction, interpretation, and synthesis. The results show that a Blood Moon occurs due to the refraction and scattering of sunlight by Earth’s atmosphere, causing the Moon to appear red during a total lunar eclipse. It can therefore be concluded that atmospheric conditions determine the Moon’s color and the brightness of the night sky. For future research, it is recommended to use direct observational data and meteorological data to improve the accuracy of the analysis

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh menurunnya pemahaman masyarakat dan generasi muda terhadap makna simbolisme upacara panggih pada pernikahan adat Jawa. Penelitian ini bertujuan menginventarisasi spesies tumbuhan yang digunakan dalam upacara panggih di Kecamatan Bosar Maligas, Kabupaten Simalungun, serta menyusun hasilnya sebagai buku saku materi keanekaragaman hayati SMA. Pendekatan penelitian secara kualitatif, data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara semi-terstruktur, dan dokumentasi terhadap 30 responden (dukun manten, kepala desa, masyarakat) di tiga desa. Hasil penelitian menemukan 12 spesies tumbuhan dari 11 familia yang digunakan dalam enam tahapan ritual: temu pengantin, balangan gantal sirih, wiji dadi, sindur binayang, saling menyuapi, dan sungkeman. Bagian tumbuhan yang dimanfaatkan meliputi biji, daun, batang, bunga, dan rimpang, yang menyimbolkan doa, nasihat, serta pengharapan bagi mempelai. Buku saku berbasis kearifan lokal ini diharapkan dapat mendukung pelestarian budaya sekaligus meningkatkan pemahaman siswa. ABSTRACT This study was motivated by the declining understanding of the community and younger generations regarding the meaning and symbolism of the panggih ceremony in Javanese traditional weddings. The purpose of this study was to inventory the plant species used in the panggih ceremony in Bosar Maligas Subdistrict, Simalungun Regency, and to use the results as data in the preparation of teaching materials on biodiversity at the high school level. The research used a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. The research population included the entire community in Bosar Maligas District, while the sample was taken from three villages consisting of 30 respondents with the criteria of being a traditional healer, village head, and community member. The results showed that there were 12 plant species from 11 families used in six stages of the panggih ceremony, namely the meeting of the bride and groom, balangan gantal sirih, wiji dadi, sindur binayang, mutual feeding virtual, and sungkeman. The parts of the plants used include seeds, leaves, stems, flowers, and rhizomes, each of which has a specific symbolic meaning, such as prayer, advice, and hope for the bride and groom. The research results are inventoried in a pocket book based on local wisdom, which is expected to support cultural preservation while increasing students' understanding of biodiversity in a cultural context.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perubahan penggunaan lahan di Gampong Lamkeuneung, Kecamatan Darussalam, Kabupaten Aceh Besar menggunakan Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG), serta mengetahui pola dan faktor pendorong perubahan penggunaan lahan yang terjadi dari tahun 2004 hingga 2025. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan analisis spasial berbasis SIG. Pengolahan data dilakukan melalui tahapan interpretasi citra satelit, digitasi on-screen, klasifikasi penggunaan lahan, dan overlay peta menggunakan perangkat lunak Global Mapper 21.0. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa analisis citra satelit multi-temporal yang diperkuat dengan observasi lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, pada masing-masing jenis penggunaan lahan terjadi perubahan luas yang bervariasi, yaitu pemukiman mengalami pertambahan luas terbesar dari 40.980 m² menjadi 88.700 m² (116%), sementara sawah mengalami penyusutan terbesar sebesar 32%, diikuti kebun sebesar 19%, dan lahan kosong sebesar 14%. Perubahan penggunaan lahan di Gampong Lamkeuneung dinilai belum terkendali secara optimal, diantaranya konversi lahan sawah, kebun, dan lahan kosong menjadi pemukiman yang didorong oleh pertumbuhan penduduk, keberadaan fasilitas pendidikan, dan faktor ekonomi. ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze land use changes in Gampong Lamkeuneung, Darussalam District, Aceh Besar Regency using Geographic Information System (GIS), as well as to determine the patterns and driving factors of land use change that occurred from 2004 to 2025. This study uses a quantitative descriptive approach with GIS-based spatial analysis. Data processing is carried out through the stages of satellite image interpretation, on-screen digitization, land use classification, and  map overlay using Global Mapper 21.0 software. The data collection technique is in the form of multi-temporal satellite image analysis  which is strengthened by field observation. The results showed that, in each type of land use, there was a variation in area, namely settlements experienced the largest increase in area from 40,980 m² to 88,700 m² (116%), while rice fields experienced the largest shrinkage by 32%, followed by gardens by 19%, and vacant land by 14%. Changes in land use in Gampong Lamkeuneung are considered to have not been optimally controlled, including the conversion of rice fields, gardens, and vacant land into settlements driven by population growth, the existence of educational facilities, and economic factors.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Pemahaman kesiapsiagaan mitigasi bencana penting untuk dipahami bagi mahasiswa asrama Universitas Syiah Kuala. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menyelidiki kesiapsiagaan penghuni Asrama Mahasiswa Universitas Syiah Kuala terhadap bencana gempa bumi. Populasi penelitian terdiri dari 1.500 penghuni asrama, dengan 316 orang diambil sebagai sampel. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif dengan rumus indeks kesiapsiagaan mitigasi bencana. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa tingkat kesiapsiagaan parameter pengetahuan dan sikap (Knowledge) pada kategori sangat siap (91%). Tingkat kesiapsiagaan parameter rencana tanggap darurat (Emergency Preparedness) pada kategori siap (79%). Tingkat kesiapsiagaan parameter sistem peringatan bencana (Warning System) pada kategori siap (78%). Tingkat kesiapsiagaan parameter mobilisasi sumber daya (Resource Mobilization Capacity) pada kategori sangat siap (80%). Secara keseluruhan keempat parameter berada pada kategori sangat siap (88%). Dengan ini diharapkan berbagai pihak yang berada pada lingkungan Asrama Mahasiswa Universitas Syiah Kuala dapat terus meningkatkan edukasi mengenai kesiapsiagaan mitigasi bencana gempa bumi. The aim of this study is to investigate the preparedness of dormitory residents at Syiah Kuala University towards earthquake disasters. The study population consists of 1,500 dormitory residents, with 316 individuals sampled. Data collection was conducted using questionnaires and analyzed descriptively using the disaster mitigation preparedness index formula. Based on the research findings, it was concluded that the preparedness level for the knowledge and attitude parameter (Knowledge) is categorized as very prepared (91%). The preparedness level for the emergency response plan parameter (Emergency Preparedness) is categorized as prepared (79%). The preparedness level for the disaster warning system parameter (Warning System) is categorized as prepared (78%). The preparedness level for the resource mobilization capacity parameter (Resource Mobilization Capacity) is categorized as very prepared (80%). Overall, all four parameters are classified as very prepared (88%). It is hoped that various parties within the Syiah Kuala University dormitory environment will continue to enhance education regarding earthquake disaster mitigation preparedness. Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan memetakan potensi geowisata di Kota Sabang melalui pendekatan Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG). Kajian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif-kuantitatif dengan menerapkan analisis spasial berbasis overlay dan pembobotan kriteria geowisata yang meliputi aspek geologi, estetika lanskap, aksesibilitas, dan nilai edukatif. Lokasi penelitian mencakup seluruh kawasan Kota Sabang, sementara pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara purposif  berdasarkan keunikan geologi dan ketersediaan data spasial. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi lapangan, wawancara terstruktur, serta pemanfaatan peta geologi, citra satelit, dan data administratif. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa beberapa lokasi, seperti Gunung Api Jaboi, Air Panas Pria Laot, dan Pantai Anoi Itam, memiliki potensi geowisata tinggi berdasarkan skoring kuantitatif. SIG berperan penting dalam integrasi data dan penyusunan peta tematik, sehingga dapat digunakan sebagai dasar dalam pengambilan keputusan pengembangan geowisata yang berkelanjutan. Temuan ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya pelibatan masyarakat lokal, konservasi sumber daya geologi, dan perencanaan berbasis spasial dalam pengelolaan potensi wisata geologi Kota Sabang. Kata Kunci: Geowisata, SIG, Kota Sabang, Pemetaan Spasial, Potensi Geologi ABSTRACTThis study aims to identify and map geotourism potential in Sabang City using a Geographic Information System (GIS) approach. This study uses a descriptive-quantitative method by applying overlay-based spatial analysis and weighting of geotourism criteria that include geological aspects, landscape aesthetics, accessibility, and educational value. The research location covers the entire Sabang City area, while sampling was conducted purposively based on geological uniqueness and the availability of spatial data. Data were collected through field observations, structured interviews, and the use of geological maps, satellite imagery, and administrative data. The analysis results indicate that several locations, such as Jaboi Volcano, Pria Laot Hot Springs, and Anoi Itam Beach, have high geotourism potential based on quantitative scoring. GIS plays an important role in data integration and the preparation of thematic maps, so that they can be used as a basis for decision-making for sustainable geotourism development. These findings underscore the importance of local community involvement, geological resource conservation, and spatial-based planning in managing Sabang City's geological tourism potential.
