Abstract

Keragaman karakteristik siswa merupakan salah satu tantangan dalam proses pembelajaran di sekolah dasar. Perbedaan kemampuan akademik, minat belajar, serta gaya belajar siswa menuntut guru untuk merancang pembelajaran yang mampu mengakomodasi kebutuhan belajar setiap siswa. Dalam konteks implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka, pembelajaran yang berpusat pada siswa menjadi salah satu prinsip utama yang perlu diterapkan dalam proses pembelajaran. Salah satu pendekatan yang dapat digunakan untuk mendukung implementasi tersebut adalah pembelajaran berdiferensiasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pembelajaran berdiferensiasi sebagai strategi implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka dalam mengakomodasi keragaman belajar siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi literatur. Data penelitian diperoleh dari berbagai sumber pustaka berupa artikel jurnal ilmiah, buku, serta dokumen kebijakan pendidikan yang relevan dengan topik penelitian. Proses pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penelusuran literatur pada beberapa basis data ilmiah, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif melalui proses pengkajian, pengelompokan, dan sintesis temuan penelitian. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dapat menjadi strategi yang efektif dalam mendukung implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka karena mampu menyesuaikan proses pembelajaran dengan kebutuhan belajar siswa yang beragam. Selain itu, penerapan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi juga dapat meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran serta menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang lebih inklusif dan adaptif. Oleh karena itu, pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dapat menjadi salah satu strategi pembelajaran yang penting dalam mengakomodasi keragaman karakteristik siswa di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to analyze the role of self-regulated learning in improving learning motivation and independent learning among elementary school students. This research employed a systematic literature review (SLR) approach using a qualitative descriptive method to examine studies related to self-regulated learning, learning motivation, and independent learning. Data sources were obtained from accredited national journals and international journals published between 2020 and 2025 through academic databases such as Google Scholar, Scopus, and Science Direct. Data analysis was conducted through identification, selection, and synthesis of research findings relevant to the research topic. The results indicate that self-regulated learning plays an important role in enhancing students’ learning motivation through the ability to plan learning goals, monitor learning progress, and evaluate learning outcomes independently. Self-regulation skills also contribute to the development of students’ independent learning, reflected in their ability to manage study time, complete learning tasks independently, and take initiative in seeking additional learning resources. These findings suggest that the development of self-regulated learning in the learning process can encourage students to become more active, independent, and responsible learners. Therefore, learning strategies that support the development of self-regulation should be emphasized in elementary school education. Abstract

This study aims to explore the experiences of Elementary School Teacher Education (PGSD) students regarding yoga practices in improving learning concentration and physical health. This study uses a qualitative approach with a phenomenological method. The research subjects were PGSD students who had participated in yoga practices in lectures. Data collection techniques were carried out through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model which includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that yoga practices have a positive impact on improving learning concentration, reducing academic stress, improving physical health, and increasing students' self-awareness. Students experienced increased focus, peace of mind, and a fitter body condition after participating in yoga regularly. This study concludes that yoga education can be an effective holistic learning strategy in supporting students' academic success and well-being.

Abstract

The Society 5.0 era demands the integration of digital technology in various areas of life, including higher education. English proficiency for PGSD students is no longer merely a supplement, but a core competency, along with the return of English to the elementary school curriculum. Students of the Elementary School Teacher Education (PGSD) Study Program, as future educators, need to have adequate basic English language competency and the ability to utilize digital technology in the learning process. This study aims to analyze effective digital-based basic English teaching strategies for PGSD students at UHN Sugriwa Denpasar. This study used a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The research subjects were PGSD students taking the Basic English course. Data collection techniques were carried out through learning observations, interviews, and documentation of the use of digital platforms. The results of the study indicate that digital-based learning strategies that utilize media such as Learning Management Systems, language learning applications, interactive videos, and digital quizzes can increase student engagement, enrich the learning experience, and help students understand vocabulary and language structures more contextually. In addition, the use of digital technology also improves students' learning motivation and communication skills. This study concludes that digital-based English teaching strategies are a relevant and effective approach to supporting learning in the Society 5.0 era, particularly for prospective elementary school teacher students.

Abstract

Critical thinking skills in mathematics constitute a fundamental competency that requires development at the elementary school level. However, existing learning practices often remain suboptimal due to insufficient reinforcement of character values. This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of integrating Tri Kaya Parisudha (TKP) values into the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model on students' mathematical critical thinking skills. Utilizing a quantitative approach with a Quasi-Experimental Pre-test Post-test Control Group Design, the research involved fourth-grade elementary students in Cluster I, Buleleng District. Cluster random sampling was employed to select State Elementary School 1 Anturan (28 students) as the experimental class and State Elementary School 2 Anturan (36 students) as the control class. A validated and reliable essay test was utilized as the instrument to measure critical thinking skills. The Independent Sample t-test results yielded a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05) with a t-value of 8.247, indicating a significant effect. The experimental class achieved a mean post-test score of 78.45, substantially surpassing the control class's score of 62.18. The improvement in critical thinking skills within the experimental class was categorized as moderate (N-Gain 0.59), whereas the control class showed low improvement (N-Gain 0.28). In conclusion, the PBL model enriched with TKP values is proven to be more effective in enhancing mathematical critical thinking skills compared to conventional learning.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the use of life-based digital media in Pancasila Education learning among elementary school students in the era of globalization. The study employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive method, with analysis grounded in Media Richness Theory (MRT), which emphasizes the effectiveness of media in conveying information through message clarity, interactivity, and the ability to reduce ambiguity. Data were collected through interviews and observations in the elementary school setting. The findings indicate that digital media, such as interactive learning videos and simulations, possess a high level of media richness, thereby enhancing students’ understanding, motivation, and engagement. Additionally, such media facilitate the connection between learning materials and real-life contexts, supporting the contextual internalization of Pancasila values. However, its implementation still faces challenges related to teacher readiness, the availability of facilities, and instructional planning. This study contributes to strengthening the application of Media Richness Theory in life-based Pancasila Education learning, suggesting that the use of digital media can serve as an effective strategy to improve the quality of learning and reinforce students’ character development in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of Game-Based Learning using dice games in improving sixth-grade elementary students’ understanding of probability concepts. The study employed Classroom Action Research conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The participants were 28 students. Data were collected through concept understanding tests and observation sheets of student activities. The data were analyzed using both quantitative and qualitative approaches to provide a comprehensive description of students’ learning outcomes and engagement. The results indicate a significant improvement in students’ conceptual understanding of probability. The mean score increased from 73.32 in the pre-cycle to 78.79 in Cycle I and further improved to 85.29 in Cycle II. In addition, classical learning mastery reached 100% in Cycle II. Student activity also improved from moderately active to active and highly active, reflecting enhanced behavioral, emotional, and cognitive engagement during the learning process. These findings suggest that the implementation of Game-Based Learning using dice games creates an interactive, contextual, and meaningful learning environment. This approach effectively supports students in understanding abstract probability concepts through direct experience and enhances their overall engagement in mathematics learning.
