Abstract

This article reviews the literature on the development of artificial intelligence (AI) and automation technologies, and the accompanying regulatory efforts in the digital era. AI and automation have progressed rapidly, bringing benefits such as higher operational efficiency, cost reduction, and innovation in various sectors. However, these developments also bring significant challenges including privacy issues, algorithm bias, and labour impacts. Regulation plays a key role in guiding these technological developments, with the aim of protecting personal data, increasing transparency and accountability, and preventing discrimination. This article highlights the importance of creating responsive and proactive policies so that the benefits of AI and automation can be optimised, while the risks are minimised.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the challenges and opportunities of sociology in the digital society in the contemporary era. Digital society, characterized by advances in information and communication technology, faces various significant challenges including digital inequality, privacy and data security issues, and disruption of social values. Inequality in access to technology deepens social and economic disparities, while privacy and data security issues raise concerns about the misuse of personal information. Disinformation and polarization exacerbated by social media also complicate social and political dynamics. However, digital society also offers great opportunities, such as increased access to information that empowers individuals and groups, and the formation of virtual communities that support solidarity and social innovation. Digital technology facilitates more inclusive political participation and enables new economic and educational models that are more flexible and equitable. This study concludes that despite the complex challenges, the wise use of digital technology can support the formation of a more just, inclusive, and participatory society. Therefore, it is important for stakeholders to manage and optimize digital technology in order to achieve a balance between mitigating risks and utilizing existing potential.

Abstract

This research analyzes existing literature regarding women's involvement in politics from a gender anthropology perspective. This study aims to understand the dynamics, obstacles and progress faced by women in carrying out political roles in various social and cultural contexts. Using a qualitative approach, this research examines findings from various sources such as books, journal articles and previous research reports. The analysis shows that women still face significant structural inequalities in politics, which are exacerbated by traditional gender norms and systemic discrimination. However, affirmative policy initiatives such as gender quotas have seen an increase in women's representation in legislative councils. Additionally, the importance of social networks, mentorship, and political education are recognized as key factors that can increase women's participation in politics. In the digital era, information technology offers new opportunities for women's political participation, although challenges such as online harassment are also a serious concern. In conclusion, this research confirms that increasing women's involvement in politics requires a holistic and collaborative approach. Change must occur at structural, social and individual levels, supported by just and sustainable policies. In this way, a more inclusive and representative political future can be realized.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the social welfare services provided to street children, with a focus on basic needs such as education, health, social protection and economic empowerment. Data was collected through literature review. The results of the analysis show that existing social welfare services are still not comprehensive and not well coordinated among various stakeholders such as the government, NGOs, and health and education institutions. In addition, social stigma towards street children is a significant obstacle to the effectiveness of existing programs. To overcome this problem, it is recommended to strengthen multi-stakeholder collaboration networks, increase capacity and service infrastructure, as well as develop programs based on data from monitoring and evaluation results. With a comprehensive and sustainable approach, it is hoped that social welfare services can be more effective in improving the quality of life of street children and increasing their opportunities for a better future.
