Abstract

This research focuses on developing educational games as interactive learning media for children, with the aim of exploring the potential of games as an effective and fun learning tool. Through a game design and development approach, this research combines educational concepts with game elements to create an interesting learning experience for children. The research methodology includes needs analysis, game design, prototype development, and user evaluation involving children as participants. The research results show that the educational games developed have succeeded in increasing children's motivation and involvement in the learning process. User evaluations show increased understanding of concepts and retention of information in children using educational games compared to traditional learning methods. In addition, feedback from children and parents indicates that the integration of game elements in learning enriches children's learning experiences, making the learning process more interactive and enjoyable. This research concludes that educational games can be used as an effective interactive learning medium for children. It is hoped that further development and application of educational games in formal and informal education contexts can provide creative and innovative alternatives in supporting children's learning processes. This research also opens up opportunities for further exploration of educational game design that adapt to children's various needs and learning styles.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how compensation and work discipline influence the performance of teachers (teachers). The population in this study were all civil servants (teachers) at Taman Siswa Tebing Tinggi School totaling 51 people, consisting of 19 people from SMK Business Management and 32 people from SMK TSM. The sample taken was 51 respondents using census techniques, namely the entire population was sampled. The regression analysis method used is multiple linear regression and to test the hypothesis the t test and f test are used at the significance level or alpha = 5%. The research data were analyzed or processed using the SPSS version 17 program. Based on the research results thatof 0.696 or 69.6%. This shows that the compensation variable (X1) and work discipline variable (X2) can explain the performance variable (Y) by 69.6%, the remaining 30.4% (100% - 69.6%) is explained by other variables outside this research model. In the results of the multiple linear regression test, the following regression equation is obtained:Y = 3.975 + 0.620X1 + 0.245X2 + e. The results of the hypothesis test state that: H1 is accepted, this can be seen from the tcount value of 4.479 > ttable 2.009 and with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, compensation has an effect on the performance of the tutor (teacher). H2 is accepted, this can be seen from the tcount value which is 2.375 > ttable 2.009 and with a significance value of 0.022 <0.05 then work discipline influence the performance of tutors (teachers). H3 is accepted, this can be seen from the Fcount value which is 58.346 > Ftable 3.19 with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, so compensation and work discipline have a joint (simultaneous) effect on performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of the counseling guidance approach to student behavior in the classroom. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method by collecting data based on factual information, where the data is in the form of readable text that can be analyzed. The conclusion that can be drawn from this research is that teachers who teach counseling guidance have a very important role in the development of student morals in the classroom, specifically teachers as educators act as role models and examples that students will follow. In addition, religious-based counseling guidance is provided to students in a thoughtful way through various methods, including discussions, interviews, and private teachers.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the effectiveness of the mind mapping method on the ability to write biographical texts in class X SMA Negeri 5 Soppeng. The population in this study was 249, while the sample selected in this study was34 students divided into 12 men and 22 women using purposive sampling techniques. Due to the limited sample size, the research design used was a pre- test and post-test group design. The instruments used to collect data are test sheets and observations. Then, data collection techniques were carried out using test and non-test techniques. The data analysis techniques applied in this research are non-parametric descriptive and inferential statistics because the prerequisite tests were not met. The results of data analysis in this study showed that the average student score was 74.91 at the pre-test stage and there was an increase at the post-test stage to 80.05. Then, at the pre-test stage the number of students who completed was only 16 students or 52.94% and there was a change at the post-test stage to 91.17% or 31 students who completed. The results of hypothesis testing also show significant differences between the pretest and posttest stages. NThe significance value in this study is (0.000) smaller than the generally chosen significance level (usually 0.05). This means that there is a significant difference in performance or test results between before (pretest) and after (posttest) a particular intervention or event in the sample being analyzed. Based on this, it can be concluded that the Mind Mapping method is effectively applied in learning Indonesian, especially the subject of biographical texts.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the implementation of group guidance using modeling techniques can affect the tendency of academic procrastination of students of the Pattimura University Guidance and Counseling Study Program, this research is located at Pattimura University, Ambon. The population amounted to 97 students using purpose sampling technique totaling 18 respondents. The research design used Pre- experimental One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design with Paired sample test data analysis techniques used to test the research hypothesis. Researchers also conducted validity, reliability and prerequisite tests. The results showed a difference in the average score before treatment and after with a paired sample t-test value of sig. 0.000 <0.05 which means Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted where the provision of group guidance treatment using the Modeling Technique has a significant effect on reducing student procrastination, although in the category is still in the moderate category.

Abstract

In the face of fierce competition to enter college, students often seek support from tutoring institutions to strengthen their learning abilities. However, LBB has limitations in providing learning programs. To understand students' preferences in choosing subjects, data mining methods can be used, which is the process of gathering information from large databases with statistical, mathematical, and artificial intelligence techniques. This research uses data from 40 students as samples that will be analyzed using the Apriori Association method. The search for support values is limited to three sets of elements because no combination meets the minimum support value requirement, so the procedure is stopped. The search for confidence values is carried out using a combination of two sets of potential items (L2). There are three association rules that can be useful for understanding students' preferences in choosing subjects. The first rule is "If you choose Math, you will choose English" with a confidence of 0.6, the second rule is "If you choose English, you will choose Math" with a confidence of 0.6, and the third rule is "If you choose Biology, you will choose Mathematics" with a confidence of 0.70. The results of the analysis in this study can be applied by Tutoring Institution "A" in the future to develop programs that are suitable for deepening the understanding of certain subjects.

Abstract

Blockchain in education in today's digital age has paved the way for innovative technologies that have the potential to revolutionize various aspects of life, including the education sector. Blockchain, as one of the leading technological breakthroughs, offers the possibility to transform the way academic recording and certification are done in the education system. This article aims to identify and analyze potential applications of blockchain in education, in relation to academic recording and certification management, as well as highlighting the key challenges to be addressed for successful implementation. The research method used is literature using the theory in accordance with the context of research. Research findings suggest that the potential for blockchain use in education lies mainly in its capacity to provide a safe, transparent, and irrevocable way to store academic records. Using this technology, educational institutions can guarantee the integrity and authenticity of academic documents, facilitate verification processes by third parties, and improve operational efficiency. Furthermore, the adoption of blockchain can strengthen the recognition of academic credentials globally and support the development of new teaching techniques through the reliability and security it provides. However, the adoption of blockchain in the education sector also poses a series of challenges. These include technical barriers related to the necessary infrastructure development, training needs for human resources, issues of privacy and compliance with existing regulations, as well as significant initial costs for implementation. In addition, acceptance from various stakeholders in the education sector should be considered to ensure smooth adoption of technology. To address these challenges and maximize the potential of blockchain technology in education, the study suggests strategic steps that include developing supportive regulations, investing in training and capacity- building for faculty and students, pilot projects to test the effectiveness of implementation, and adopting adaptive and flexible approaches by educational institutions. Through collaborative efforts between governments, educational institutions, and industry, blockchain has the potential to transform the way the world views academic registration and certification, making the process more efficient, secure, and globally recognized.
