Abstract

This study aims to find, describe, predict and verify the theory. Type of survey research with quantitative approach. Sampling technique was done gradually with Cluster Sampling or Sampling Area at High School as many as 100 schools from 105 schools. Data collection using questionnaire. This research consists of two variables, namely exogenous latent variable in this research is the Managerial ability of headmaster (x1) and School Committee (x2). Endogenous latent variables in School Organization Culture (η1) and School Effectiveness (η2). Data analysis techniques used Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Based on the results of descriptive statistical analysis both exogenous and endogenous latent variables included in good category. Theoretical model expressed fit. The magnitude of the effect of each exogenous variable on the endogenous variable and the contribution of the construct indicator are: (1) School effectiveness is not determined directly by the Managerial ability of headmaster, (2) The School Organization Culture is determined by the Managerial ability of headmaster, (3) School Effectiveness is determined not (4) School effectiveness is not defined by the School Committee, (5) School Organization Culture is not determined by the School Committee, (6) School Effectiveness is not determined directly by the School Committee through School Organization Culture, (7) School effectiveness is determined directly by the School Organization Culture. The contribution of each indicator to the construct is: (1) Managerial ability of headmaster variable is the M3 (Technical Skill) dimension, with a value of R² of 0.76 or 76%., (2) School Committee variable is the K3 dimension (Advisory Agency ), with a R2 value of 0.92 or 92%, (3) School Organization Cultural variable is the dimension of B4 (Philosphy), with an estimated value of 0.67, (4) School Effectiveness variable is the dimension E4 (Standards of Teachers) with an estimated value of 0.99.

Abstract

This research aims to identify the madrasa head's strategy for managing change in creating superior madrasas and to analyze the success of change management in creating superior madrasas. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of change management in madrasahs, especially Madrasah Aliyah (MA) needs to be implemented and the principal plays a key role in the success of leading change in realizing superior madrasahs by implementing change management, including Awareness, namely motivation and monthly meetings; Desire, namely a personal approach and giving rewards; Knowledge, namely discussion and socialization activities; Ability, namely workshop activities; and Reinforcement, namely monitoring and controlling. Indicators of superior madrasahs include Input, namely the acceptance of new students; Process, namely teacher abilities, learning facilities, curriculum, learning methods, extracurricular activities, and cooperation networks; and Output, namely intellectual competence, emotional competence, and spiritual competence.

Abstract

Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan rekonstruksi filsafat pendidikan Islam sesuai tujuan penciptaan dan tujuan risalah. Pendekatan dalam peneltian ini adalah penelitian kepustakaan. Hasil  penelitian  ini adalah bahwa pada   hakekatnya,    Islam diturunkan ke dunia ini tidak lain  adalah untuk  memberikan tuntunan    kebahagian   bagi ummat manusia. Eksistesi Islam adalah rah}matan li al-’a>lami>n, penebar kedamaian bagi semesta alam. Yang secara teologis kemudian  kita pahami sebagai tujuan risalah Islam. Filsafat Pendidikan  Islam adalah landasan filosofis dalam implementasi pendidikan Islam.  Dalam hal ini,  filsafat pendidikan Islam harus berorientasi pada dua hal, yakni tujuan penciptaan  manusia, yakni sebagai hamba dan sebagai khalifah. Kedua, tujuan risalah islam, yakni menjadi rahmat bagi semesta dan menyempurnakan akhlak yang mulia. kata kunci:  rekonstruksi,   filsafat  pendidikan, Islam, tujuan risalahTHE RECONSTRUCTION OF  ISLAMIC EDUCATION PHILOSOPHY (RESTORING THE ISLAMIC EDUCATION OBJECTIVE  BASED ON THE CREATION AND PURPOSE TREATISE). This study aims to describe the reconstruction of Islamic education  philosophy  in accordance  with the  purpose  of treatise creation and purpose. The approach of this study is library research. The result of this study is that in fact, Islam was revealed to the world is none other than to provide the happiness guidance for Moslems. The  existence  of Islam  is  rah}matan li  al-’a>lami>n, the  diffuser of peace for the Earth. That theologically we understand as the Islamic treatise destination. Islamic education philosophy is the philosophical grounding in Islamic education implementation. In this case, Islamic education philosophy must be oriented in two ways, i.e. the purpose of the human  creation, i.e. as a servant and as the Caliph. Second, the purpose of the Islamic treatise, i.e. be a mercy to the universe and improve the noble morals.Keywords:  reconstruction, islam, education, philosophy, the goal of the treatise

Abstract

Communication is a daily activity in academic or non-academic activities within the university. This study aims to explore the lecturer perspective on the ethics of verbal communication students. This study is a qualitative research with a phenomenological study method. To simplify the design of the research, the qualitative research stages chosen were Spradley's. This research data collection technique is through interviews conducted with lecturers who served in a number of universities in East Java Province. While the data collection instruments used are structured interview guidelines and unstructured interview guidelines. Sampling in this study was conducted using non-probability sampling techniques. More precisely by using the type of purposive and snowball sampling. The data generated is in the form of secondary primary data. Primary data in the form of conversations with appointed lecturers. Whereas secondary data is obtained when interviewing key informants. One of the results of this study is that it is known that the current use of telephones for communication between students and lecturers is declining. One reason is the reluctance of lecturers to receive phone calls from students who are sudden. With these findings it is hoped that there will be student attention to their ethics in communicating with lecturers.

Abstract

SPIRITUALIST CHARISMATIC EDUCATOR AND FIGHTER (Sosio-Historic Study on K.H.R. As'ad Syamsul Arifin). This research aims at finding out how the portraits of an educator named K.H.R. As'ad Syamsul Arifin journey which full of spirituality value. In the implementation of the study, it focused more on the study of socio historical by using library approach. The sources of the data are in the form of primary and secondary data which is strengthening by conducting interviews with the informants. The results of this study shows a portrait of an educator and a figther's journey at once. Stage by stage, he developed the pesantren ancestral heritage and fix it in accordance with the situation and progress of the present education without leaving the old traditions. Some of the steps undertaken are included the establishment of SDI and SMPI, SMAI and SMEAI, Ma'had 'Ali came to the level of the Institute/college which the reputation cannot be denied. In the process, a spiritual education applied at Pesantren Sukorejo has pioneered the existing of social laboratory where the students, pupils, and university students can learn to be socialized.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the importance of character education based on Javanese cultural values and the implementation of character education construction based on Javanese cultural values. The objects of this research were Madrasah Aliyah Al Islam Surakarta, MAN 2 Semarang, and Madrasah Aliyah Al Manshur Popongan. In its implementation, qualitative research was used with phenomenological and naturalistic approaches. Data collection techniques were through observation, interviews, and documentation. The discussion in this article leads to the conclusion that Javanese culture is vital since it can be used as a medium and means of forming students' character, containing the fundamental beliefs and knowledge sources in harmony with Islamic teachings. The implementation process is through the construction of approaches, values, methods, media, strategies, and evaluations reflected in the 2013 curriculum and Central Java Regional Regulation Number 9 of 2012, which are integrated into every subject, extracurricular activities, school culture, habituation and exemplary, and school regulations.

Abstract

Islam was originally used as a living joint manifested in the customs of the Acehnese people who then switched to following the system of government that resulted in the decline of the religious adaptation of Islam. Shifting of Islamic values to Syari'ah enforcement regions resulted in conflict. Aceh is able to rise to prioritize the syari'ah of Islam to be a mecca in the case and make a custom in life. Gayo which is one of the areas in Aceh to develop the Aceh Gayo Traditional Assembly so that the value of Islam and customs in line in educating the community into a khalifah. This paper reviews the concept of MAANGo in preparing a dignified society on the aspects of life in Islamic and customary hasanah law. and to know the results of institutional tasks in educating people based on Islamic and customary law. MAANGo as an institution in tradition establishing  by breathing Shari'ah in accordance with the condition of the region that prioritizes Islamic values. The concept in dealing with the behavior of society that in fact is changing is by making education as the front guard to doctrine mindset and behavior according to custom syariat through the field of customary law, the field of assessment, education and development, conserving library or guidance of customs and empowerment of women. The result in carrying out the mandate as an tradition institution to build the smoothness of government duties, conservation of customary law values and to maintain harmony in social matters.
Exploring Graduate Students’ Motivations and Institutional Challenge in Conducting Interdisciplinary Islamic Research at Higher Education

Abstract

While offering the advantage of addressing complex problems, interdisciplinary researchers still face a range of significant challenges. This study investigates graduate students' motivations and challenges in conducting interdisciplinary Islamic research. This study employed a quantitative survey method using a Likert-scale questionnaire distributed to 106 purposively master's and doctoral students elected at Graduate School of UIN Jakarta, with data analyzed through descriptive statistics. The study found that the primary motivation for students to conduct interdisciplinary research in Islamic studies is the desire to solve complex societal problems, followed by the pursuit of practical solutions and self development, while the motivation for obtaining funding or advancing academic careers rank lowest. Students face challenges, such as differences in scientific disciplines, limited methodological grasp, and knowledge gaps with lecturers and peers. This research contributes to enhance academic curricula and institutional support for fostering effective interdisciplinary research in Muslim-majority contexts.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui  evaluasi hasil belajar Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI). Melalui  library research, evaluasi diketahui dengan  menggunakan pengukuran informasi dan informasi hasil penilaian. Hasilnya diukur dengan memberikan skor (angka). Kemudian, skor tersebut dinilai dan ditafsirkan oleh aturan tertentu untuk menentukan tingkat kemampuan pribadi. Selain itu, hasil dari proses penilaian ini selanjutnya dievaluasi untuk menentukan tingkat pencapaian pribadi atau terprogram. Secara umum, ada dua teknik penilaian pendidikan,  yaitu tes dan  non-tes.  Berdasarkan hasil  penelitian   kualitatif  dengan memanfaatkan sumber berupa data atau dokumen, penelitian ini menggambarkan  bagaimana persiapan instrumen berdasarkan kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotor  evaluasi domain. Suatu set tes dan non-tes yang baik sebagai pengukur prestasi harus memiliki kriteria;  validitas, kepraktisan, kehandalan,  dan   ekonomi. Selanjutnya, analisis tes yang sesuai pada evaluasi pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) terdiri dari tingkat kesukaran soal atau indeks kesulitan, daya pembeda, analisis pengecoh, analisis homogenitas item soal, dan efektivitas fungsi opsi.Kata kunci: Pendidikan  Agama Islam (PAI), belajar,evaluasiEVALUATION OF LEARNING RESULT ON ISLAMIC RELIGIOUS EDUCATION:  IDEALS AND  REALITY:  This study was conducted to know the studying result evaluation of Islamic Religious  Education.  The  evaluation  used  by using  information measurement  and asessment  result  information.   Through  library research, the result was measured by giving scores (number) then the score was assessed and interpreted by the rules to determine personal ability  level.  Moreover, the result of the  assessment  process is next evaluated to determine the personal or programmed achievement level. Generally, there are two educational  assessment techniques, namely test and non-test. This qualitative study used some data or document. Afterward, this study described how the preparation of the instrument, based on cognitive, affective, and psychomotor evaluation domains. A set  of good  tests  and non-tes  as achievement  measurer  should have these criteria; validity,  practicability, reliability, and economy. Furthermore, the analysis of test items which is appropriate for Islamic Religious Education  learning evaluation  consists of difficulty index, discriminating power, spieler analysis, item homogeneous analysis, and optional functioning effectiveness.Keywords: Islamic Religious Education, learning outcome evaluation

Abstract

 This article is a research on brand building strategies in private Islamic colleges in coastal areas, namely the IAINU Tuban and the IAI TABAH Lamongan. The purpose of this study is to analyze the strategies of Islamic colleges in coastal areas in building their institutional brands. This research is a case study using a descriptive qualitative approach. The results of this study are the strategies used by IAINU and IAI TABAH in building a brand in accordance with Hermawan Kertajaya's PDB Triangle strategy: 1) Positioning is clarifying campus icons; 2) Differentiation is making the campus characteristic, IAINU Tuban as a religious social entrepreneur campus and having the character of ahlussunnah wal jama'ah an nahdhiyah. Meanwhile, IAI TABAH Lamongan as a center for the development of Islamic science and competitiveness; 3) Brand is making the motto of each institution. The IAINU Tuban brand is a religious social entrepreneur, and the IAI TABAH brand is superior, religious, competitive.
