Abstract

The main challenge is now the ASEAN free trade area or Asean Economic Community for education, to prepare quality human resources. Guru is one of the parties, which are crucial for preparing human resources to compete and adapt to global developments. Teachers are required to meet the standards of competence, namely: pedagogical, professional, and social personalities in addition, teachers must actively for training, seminars, research, and continuing education. In an effort to provide the best learning experience for students, one of the effective models that should be controlled by the teacher, is learning inquiry, which has four methods that can be applied in accordance with the demands of teaching material competence, namely; confirmation of the investigation, structured, guided and open inquiry. Methods of investigation are very suitable to be applied to the material abstract and mathematical formulas though, experience researching the problem, improve the ability to think critically and creatively and expanding the horizons of students. Abstract

The research titled Analysis Efforts Artisans Weaving Songket In Maintaining Business Continuity In the village Sudimampir Indralaya Ogan Ilir subdistrict. The aim after doing this study is to determine what efforts are being made by the songket weavers in the village Sudimampir in maintaining business continuity. The benefits of research that songket weaving craftsmen doing various strategic efforts to improve the quantity and quality of weaving songket. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach. The population in this study is the songket weavers in the village Sudimampir total of 120 artisans, samples taken as many as 25% of the population that is numbered 30 craftsmen. The technique of collecting data using interviews and observation. From the results of research through interviews stated that efforts songket weaving a going concern by: 1) improving the production quality of weaving songket, 2) The craftsmen manage their finances through loans and also profits. 3) Custom songket reduce expenses that are not so needed and more priority to produce the goods ordered especially goods orders already given an advance, for the wages according to job workers. 6) Varying color of thread and the type of thread used for weaving, woven songket motifs goods on display usually craftsmen produce only a few fruits and function only as examples of goods. 4) Provide the offer price is lower but still did not lose money. 5) Reduce the employees so that it can continue to provide so no appeal to buyers. 7) Following the training of weaving songket held by the government. 8) They have any other skills besides typical Palembang songket weaving. 9) Want to maintain the cultural heritage of Palembang that persisted into the typical Palembang songket weaving.

Abstract

This research titled Differences between Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) and Learning Styles of Visual, Auditory and Kinesthetic to the Accounting Education Study Program Faculty of Teacher Training and Education PGRI University of Palembang. The problem in this research was “whether or not differences between Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) and Learning Styles of Visual, Auditory and Kinesthetic to the Accounting Education Study Program Faculty of Teacher Training and Education PGRI University of Palembang?”. The objective of this research was to find out whether or not Differences between Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) and Learning Styles of Visual, Auditory and Kinesthetic to the Accounting Education Study Program Faculty of Teacher Training and Education PGRI University of Palembang. The method used comparative test over two averages and the approach used a quantitative approach. The data were collected by the documentation and questionnaires. The population of this research was 129 students were taken from the eighth level students PGRI University of Palembang academic year 2014/2015 and the sample of this research was 98 students. The data analysis used the comparative test over two averages.The result of this research was obtained a visual learning style 3.29, auditory learning style 3.23, and kinesthetic learning style 3.23. Hypothesis test used comparative over two averages Fcount 1.36 with standard error Ftable α 0.05 find out 3.10. so 1.36 < 3.10 then Ha was rejected and Ho was accepted so no differences between Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) and Learning Styles of Visual, Auditory and Kinesthetic to the Accounting Education Study Program Faculty of Teacher Training and Education PGRI University of Palembang.

Abstract

This research aims to improve the activity and students learning outcomes in the learning of microeconomics with the material demand and supply through the scaffolding approach oriented problem solving (problem solving). The subjects of this study were 36 students of Economics Education FKIP Sriwijaya University second semester of academic year 2014/2015. The method used in this research is a classroom action research method that consists of four activities, planning, action, observation, and evaluation-reflection using scaffolding learning methods implemented in the third cycle. Data were collected through tests, observations, questionnaires and documentation. To ensure the validity of the data used data triangulation technique. The results showed in teaching microeconomics matter of supply and demand are increased activity and students learning outcomes in each cycle using scaffolding approach.

Abstract

Formulation of the problem in this researh is how the values of the specific skills of students learning the creative economy through project based learning can see values on specific skills of students. The variables of this study are life skills that are restricted to specific skills and focused on values. the subject were SMAN 15 Palembang X. IPS 2 grade students and one teacherof the creative economy. observational data used to determine the values of the specific skills of the students, a quetionnaire used to determine students respons to learning the creative economy and the interview is used to determine the creative economy concept of learning through projrct based learning. the result showed that the values of the specific skills students consisting of academy pretty good. Result for the value of academic skill was 68,7% in the category is quite good and the value of vocational skills is 69,7% and can be quite good. It shows that with in the students have the values of the good life skills so that these values can be used as the procces of formation student skill.

Abstract

The formulation of problem for this research is “what is the different of Aurora 3 Dimention Presentation impact with powerpoint multimedia impact against the studying student motivation in learning economic at high school of number one palembang ?”. This research is the kind of experiment research. Samples are taken to the tune of 80 students which have severally 40 students for control class and experiment class. The taking sample technique is cluster random sampling. The data accumulation techniques are observation and questionnaire. This research variables are Aurora 3 Dimention Presentation multimedia as the first free variable, powerpoint multimedia as the second free variable and the studying students motivation as the variable banded. This research subject is high school of number one palembang. The result of questionnaire data analysis mean before using Aurora 3 Dimention Presentation multimedia is 53,7% and The result of questionnaire data analysis mean after using Aurora 3 Dimention Presentation multimedia is 66,8%. Whereas, The result of questionnaire data analysis mean before using powerpoint multimedia is 53,5 % and The result of questionnaire data analysis mean after powerpoint multimedia is 63,7%. The result of hypothesis test is tcount = 2.0529 > ttables = 1,991 .So, there is the diference of Aurora 3 Dimention Presentation impact with powerpoint multimedia impact against the studying student motivation in learning economic at high school of number one palembang.

Abstract

This study discussed about the students creative thinking ability to use the environment on economic subject at SMA Negeri 6 Palembang. The problem of this study was how the students creative thinking ability to use the environment on economic subjects at SMA Negeri 6 Palembang ?. The variables of this study were creative thinking and the environment. This study used descriptive method. The sample was 53 students at SMA Negeri 6 Palembang. The data were collected by observation, interview, and documentation. The result from observation showed that the creative thinking of students consisted of five indicators, they were fluent skill with the very well criteria (83.76%), flexible skill with the very well criteria (89.1%), original skill with the good criteria (79.25%). It was suggested to economic teachers to develop the detail skills that had good criteria became very good criteria, so that students were able to develop an idea in detail which was further improved.

Abstract

This study attempts to: (1) described the difficulties of teachers in the implementation of scientific learning in social studies (IPS) in Junior High Schools Palembang, and (2) know the efforts in do teachers in overcome difficulties in the implementation of scientific learning in social studies (IPS) in Junior High Schools Palembang. This research is research of population to technique with drawal sample is sampling area. The Regions select are Ilir Barat I. In Kecamatan Ilir Barat I there are junior high schools 17 and junior high schools 33. Sample in this research was teachers social class junior high schools 17 and teachers social class junior high schools 33 the city of palembang which consisted of 14 people. Technique data collection in use is chief and interview. Test validity using formulas product moment of pearson and reliability test using formulas cronbach’s alpha. Technique analysis the data in use is analysis statistik-deskriptif who later in interpretation into the form of the percentage. The research results show that: (1) teachers in implementing learning rendering on the subjects of social class included in the category quite challenging in activities create or gather information. (2) difficulty in learning activities scientific is in overcome teachers by seeking information / the necessary data through reading books in a library and to find information with discuss fellow other teachers.

Abstract

This study was aimed to prove: The Effect of emotional intelligence towards students’ finacial accounting achievment of eleventh graders of vocational school numbers 5 Palembang academic year 2015/2016. This study was a causal associative study. The population was the elevent grade students of eccounting major of vocational school number 5 palembang academik year 2015/2016 who belong to three diffrent classes with 122 student as the total number. To choose the sample, random sampling technique was used, so there were 61 students as the sample. In collecting the data, questionnaire and documentation were used. Based on the result, the emotional intelligence of the eleventh grade students manjoring accounting was 63,93% which was in a moderate category. Statistically, the result showed that F calculate ≥ F table ( 18,77 ≥ 4,00) which meansh that there was a significant correlation between emotional intelligence an students’ finacial accounting achievement. The writer hopen that this study might encourage onther writers to figure out onother factor which influences the students’ finacial accounting achievement.

Abstract

The purpose of this research to prove the difference influence between technique Reading Quiz with Question Student Have tolearning’s outcomes of students in social studies lesson at SMPN 1 Palembang. This research uses the quantitative method. The research population was the whole class VIII SMPN 1 Palembang second semester of the 2015/2016 academic year. The research sample using cluster sampling.Data collection techniques in the form of tests and observation. The result from analysis there are differences of impact that technique Reading Quiz higher than technique Question Student Have to learning’s outcomes of students in learning social studies at SMPN 1 Palembang. The results of the analysis of experimental observations on the class-1 can be interpreted in learning activities direct from learning is very strong and the other one on eksperimen-2 is strong. Advice relating to the use of techniques Reading Quiz can foster self-confidence for student to face learners and Reading Quiz. While the technique of Question Student Have if the classroom allows the better position of learners should be circular.
