Abstract

AbstractThe roles of the teacher in internalizing the values of local wisdom can be seen from the extent of the efforts made by the teacher in developing the values of local wisdom in the learning process. This study aims to describe the roles of teachers and the factors that influence them in internalizing the values of the local wisdom of Cirebon in learning at the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (Islamic elementary school). A qualitative descriptive study with an ethnographic approach was combined with a quantitative descriptive survey method in this research. Questionnaires, observation, and interviews were utilized to collect data for this study. The findings revealed that instructors' roles in instilling local wisdom values in Islamic elementary school children in Cirebon City had not been fully utilized in the classroom. This can be seen in how the abilities and competencies of teachers who are considered still inadequate to be able to internalize the values of local wisdom in madrasah learning. Local wisdom has so far only been used in the classroom to invite students to tour historical sites, make traditional arts an extracurricular activity, and convey stories about Cirebon's history. Government regulations stating that local wisdom is crucial to its survival and preservation are examples of supporting elements. Teachers, family support, curriculum load, and the cost of visiting cultural sites were discovered to be the most constraining factors.Keywords: teachers’ roles; local wisdom; cirebon city; madrasa. AbstrakPeran guru dalam menginternalisasikan nilai-nilai kearifan lokal dapat dilihat dari sejauh mana upaya yang dilakukan guru dalam mengembangkan nilai-nilai kearifan lokal dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran guru dan faktor yang mempengaruhinya dalam menginternalisasikan nilai-nilai kearifan lokal Cirebon dalam pembelajaran di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif pendekatan etnografi dikolaborasikan dengan deskriptif kuantitatif metode survei. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah angket, observasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran guru dalam menginternalisasikan nilai-nilai kearifan lokal kepada siswa Madrasah Ibtidaiyah di Kota Cirebon belum maksimal diterapkan dalam pembelajaran. Hal tersebut terlihat pada bagaimana kemampuan dan kompetensi guru yang dinilai masih belum mumpuni untuk dapat menginternalisasikan nilai-nilai kearifan lokal pada pembelajaran di madrasah ibtidaiyah. Selama ini penerapan kearifan lokal dalam pembelajaran hanya sebatas mengajak siswa kunjungan ke tempat bersejarah, menjadikan kesenian tradisional sebagai salah satu ekstrakulikuler dan bercerita mengenai sejarah cirebon saat pembelajaran. Faktor yang mendukung diantaranya adanya kebijakan pemerintah yang menyatakan bahwa kearifan lokal penting untuk dijaga eksisitensi dan kelestariannya. Adapun faktor yang menghambat ditemukan berasal dari guru, dukungan orangtua, beban kurikulum dan juga biaya kunjungan situs budaya.Kata kunci: peran guru; kearifan lokal; Cirebon; madrasah.

Abstract

AbstractThe study aims to analyze the students' higher order thinking skills (HOTS) in Science subjects at Islamic Elementary School in Salatiga, Indonesia. It is descriptive qualitative research. Using the nonprobability sampling with convenience sampling method, this study involved 120 students as the sample. The data were gathered using tests, questionnaires, Focus Group Discussions (FGD), and documentations. The descriptive analysis with percentile formula was used to analyze the data. The results indicated that the students' HOTS abilities were still at the low level. In Low Order Thinking Skills (LOTS) questions category, the students' ability to answer questions ranged from 0.6 to 0.9 (good). In Middle Order Thinking Skills (MOTS) questions category, the index of the students' abilities was 0.35 to 0.65 (the medium category). In HOTS questions category, the index of the students’ abilities was 0.075 to 0.45 (the low category). Therefore, it is necessary to make efforts in improving the HOTS ability of Islamic Elementary School students.Keywords: higher order thinking skills, Islamic elementary school students, science subject. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi (HOTS) siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA di Madrasah Ibtidayah Kota Salatiga, Indonesia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Dengan menggunakan nonprobability sampling dengan metode convenience sampling, penelitian ini melibatkan 120 siswa sebagai sampel. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan tes, angket, Focus Group Discussion (FGD), dan dokumentasi. Analisis deskriptif dengan rumus persentil digunakan untuk menganalisis data. Pada soal kategori LOTS, kemampuan siswa untuk menjawab soal berkisar antara 0,6 sampai dengan 0,9 (baik). Pada kategori soal MOTS, indeks kemampuan siswa adalah 0,35 sd 0,65 (kategori sedang). Pada kategori soal HOTS, indeks kemampuan siswa adalah 0,075 sd 0,45 (kategori rendah). Oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan usaha untuk meningkatkan kemampuan HOTS siswa di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah.Kata kunci: keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi, siswa madrasah ibtidaiyah, pelajaran IPA.

Abstract

AbstractScience learning does not only involve facts and concepts but also ways of thinking, explaining scientifically, and doing a practicum. Unfortunately, existing e-learning and/or social media have not been able to facilitate the implementation of online practicums. Therefore, an e-scaffolding website based on scientific explanations is needed as teaching media and materials since learning is mostly conducted online during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study aims to describe the development process and the validity and legibility of the e-scaffolding website to develop scientific explanations for elementary school pre-service teachers. The development of this e-scaffolding website refers to the development model developed by Lee and Owens (2004). The instrument of this study was a questionnaire using a Likert scale. There are 3 kinds of questionnaires used, including the material validation questionnaire by the expert validator, the media validation questionnaire by the expert validator, and the student readability test questionnaire. The results showed that the average product validation results on the website aspect were 84% and, on the e-scaffolding aspect was 86.67%. While the results of the product readability test were 82.29%. This means that the development of the e-scaffolding website based on scientific explanations is very valid and very feasible to use in developing the scientific explanation abilities of elementary school pre-service teachersKeywords: website e-scaffolding, scientific explanation, teaching materials. AbstrakDalam pembelajaran sains tidak hanya melibatkan fakta dan konsep, tetapi juga cara berpikir dan menjelaskan secara ilmiah. Selain itu, dalam pembelajaran sains juga membutuhkan praktikum. Sayangnya, e-learning atau media sosial yang ada belum dapat memfasilitasi pelaksanaan praktikum online. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan website e-scaffolding berbasis penjelasan ilmiah sebagai media dan bahan ajar di masa pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses pengembangan dan kevalidan serta keterbacaan website e-scaffolding untuk mengembangkan scientific explanation calon guru sekolah dasar. Pengembangan website e-scaffolding ini mengacu pada model pengembangan yang dikembangkan oleh Lee & Owens. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa angket dengan menggunakan skala likert. Angket yang digunakan ada 3 macam, yaitu angket validasi materi oleh validator, angket validasi media oleh validator, dan angket uji keterbacaan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata hasil validasi produk pada aspek website sebesar 84% dan pada aspek e-scaffolding sebesar 86,67%. Sedangkan hasil uji keterbacaan produk sebesar 82,29%. Hal ini berarti bahwa pengembangan website e-scaffolding berbasis penjelasan ilmiah sangat valid dan sangat layak digunakan dalam mengembangkan kemampuan penjelasan ilmiah calon guru sekolah dasar.Kata kunci: website e-scaffolding, penjelasan ilmiah, bahan ajar.

Abstract

AbstractThe goal of this study is to describe the career adaptability profile of the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education students, as well as their developmental issues and alternatives. This is a quantitative study with a population of all the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education students at one of Cirebon City's universities, and a sample size of 70 individuals. Questionnaires and interview guides were utilized as research tools. The research data was then examined utilizing descriptive-analytic approaches, both quantitative and qualitative. The results revealed that the students of the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education had a modest career adaptability score, with a percentage of 47.14 percent. In terms of gender, female students' average career adaptability score was greater than male students' average career adaptability score. Elements of career concern, career curiosity, career self-control, and elements of career contribution are all positive aspects of career adaptability. However, there is still room for improvement in terms of career self-confidence, career collaboration, and professional continuity. Conducting mentorship programs for students in preparing career plans, determining and selecting careers, enhancing the role of academic supervisors, and establishing a student career development center are all options for improving student careers.Keywords: career adaptability, alternative career development, students. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan secara komprehensif profil adaptabilitas karir mahasiswa Pendidikan Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah beserta masalah dan alternatif pengembangannya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan populasi seluruh mahasiswa Pendidikan Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah di salah satu perguruan tinggi di Kota Cirebon dan sampelnya berjumlah 70 mahasiswa. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa angket dan pedoman wawancara. Data hasil penelitian kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa skor rata-rata adaptabilitas karir mahasiswa Pendidikan Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah tergolong sedang, dengan persentase sebesar 47.14%. Ditinjau dari jenis kelamin, skor rata-rata adaptabilitas karir mahasiswa perempuan lebih tinggi dibandingkan skor rata-rata adaptabilitas karir mahasiswa laki-laki. Dari tujuh aspek adaptabilitas karir, aspek kepedulian karir, keingintahuan terhadap karir, pengendalian diri terhadap karir dan aspek kontribusi dalam karir sudah baik. Namun demikian, pada aspek keyakinan diri terhadap karir, kerjasama dalam membangun karir dan keberlanjutan karir masih harus ditingkatkan. Alternatif yang dapat dilakukan dalam mengembangkan karir mahasiswa adalah dengan melakukan program pendampingan kepada mahasiswa dalam menyusun rencana karir, penetapan dan pemilihan karir, peningkatan peran dosen pembimbing akademik, serta pendirian pusat pengembangan karir mahasiswa.Kata kunci: adaptabilitas karir, alternatif pengembangan karir, mahasiswa.

Abstract

AbstractThis research is motivated by the low self-efficacy of elementary school students with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) that impact on their academic failure. This study aims to describe the behaviorally based intervention approach in improving the self-efficacy of ADHD students in elementary school. This case study involved five students of an elementary school in Cirebon city. The data were gathered via observations, interviews, and documentation and then analyzed using the descriptive qualitative technique.  The results showed that the use of a behavior-based intervention approach could enhance the students' self-efficacy in the aspects of academic achievement, adjustment, social relations, and self-assessment. Therefore, the behavior-based intervention approach can be used as an alternative in increasing the self-efficacy of students with ADHD.Keywords: behaviorally based intervention approach, self-efficacy, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. AbstrakPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya efikasi diri siswa sekolah dasar dengan Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) yang berdampak pada kegagalan akademik mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pendekatan intervensi berbasis perilaku dalam meningkatkan efikasi diri siswa ADHD di sekolah dasar. Studi kasus ini melibatkan 5 siswa sekolah dasar di kota Cirebon. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi dan kemudian dianalisis dengan teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan pendekatan intervensi berbasis perilaku dapat meningkatkan efikasi diri siswa, baik pada aspek prestasi akademik, aspek penyesuaian diri, aspek hubungan sosial, maupun aspek penilaian diri. Untuk itu, pendekatan intervensi berbasis perilaku dapat menjadi alternatif dalam meningkatkan efikasi diri siswa ADHD.Kata kunci: pendekatan intervensi berbasis perilaku, efikasi diri, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.

Abstract

AbstractThe need to develop higher order thinking skills (HOTS) for prospective primary school teachers in facing society 5.0 has been motivating this research. This development process requires valid data regarding the HOTS description of prospective primary school teachers. The research is aimed to determine the HOTS ability of prospective primary school teachers in facing society 5.0. This is a qualitative descriptive study involving 125 senior students in the department of primary school teacher education. The data collection instrument utilized the validated mathematical HOTS test questions. The resulting score is then converted to an ideal score and mapped. The average score attained by prospective primary school teacher students was 57.01, according to the findings. This score indicates that prospective teachers' HOTS ability is in the fairly good category. The findings of this study can be used to improve HOTS for future teachers.Keywords: HOTS, prospective primary school teacher, mathematics. AbstrakPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi pentingnya pengembangan HOTS calon guru sekolah dasar (SD) dalam menghadapi era society 5.0. Proses pengembangan ini diperlukan data valid mengenai gambaran HOTS calon guru SD. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menggambarkan kemampuan HOTS calon guru SD pada pembelajaran matematika dalam menghadapi era society 5.0. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatitif dengan melibatkan sebanyak 125 mahasiwa akhir di jurusan pendidikan guru sekolah dasar. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan soal test HOTS matematis yang telah divalidasi. Skor yang didapatkan kemudian di tranformasi ke skor ideal dan kemudian dipetakan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa skor rata-rata yang diperoleh oleh mahasiswa calon guru SD adalah 57,01. Skor ini membuktikan bahwa kemampuan HOTS mahasiswa calon guru berada pada kategori cukup baik. Implikasi penelitian ini dapat dijadikan landasan dalam pengembangan HOTS calon guru ke depan.Kata kunci: HOTS, calon guru SD, matematika.

Abstract

AbstractThis study describes the initial ability of teachers in carrying out online learning activities. This research was conducted through survey research involving 154 elementary school teachers in Pelalawan and Rengat Regencies, Riau Provinces as the research samples were taken by purposive sampling. Research data were obtained through a survey using google forms and distributed via WhatsApp. Data analysis was carried out descriptively and inferentially using SPSS version 26. Based on the data analysis, it was identified that 97 teachers (63%) choose a combination learning model between offline and online as the most frequently learning model used during the covid-19 pandemic. In carrying out the learning process, 93 teachers (60.4%) chose schools as teaching locations. Regarding the quality of the internet in schools, 110 teachers (71.4%) assessed that the quality of the internet in schools was good and could support learning activities. Furthermore, teachers also apply various ways of teaching online learning, for example, 50 teachers (32.5%) choose to provide interactive material through online media and 45 teachers (29.2%) ask students to learn to use textbooks and give assignments to students in the form of assignments on worksheets, projects, books, etc. The main obstacle for teachers during online learning is that they find it difficult to observe student progress and have difficulty communicating with parents. The efforts made by teachers to adapt online learning is by providing materials/tasks and establishing basic competencies according to student needs.Keywords: teacher ability, online learning, covid-19 pandemic. AbstrakPenelitian ini mendeskripsikan kemampuan awal guru dalam melaksanakan kegiatan pembelajaran online. Penelitian ini dilakukan melalui penelitian survei yang melibatkan 154 guru SD di Kabupaten Pelalawan dan Rengat, Provinsi Riau sebagai sampel penelitian yang diambil secara purposive sampling. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui survei menggunakan google form dan disebarluaskan melalui WhatsApp. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif dan inferensial menggunakan SPSS versi 26. Berdasarkan analisis data diketahui bahwa 97 guru (63%) memilih model pembelajaran kombinasi antara offline dan online sebagai model pembelajaran yang paling sering digunakan selama masa pandemi covid-19. Dalam melaksanakan proses pembelajaran, 93 guru (60,4%) memilih sekolah sebagai lokasi mengajar. Terkait dengan kualitas internet yang ada di sekolah, 110 guru (71,4%) menilai bahwa kualitas internet yang ada di sekolah sudah baik dan dapat mendukung kegiatan pembelajaran. Selanjutnya, guru juga menerapkan berbagai cara dalam mengajar pembelajaran online, misalnya 50 guru (32,5%) memilih memberikan materi interaktif melalui media online dan 45 guru (29,2%) meminta siswa belajar menggunakan buku teks dan memberikan tugas kepada siswa berupa tugas pada LKS, proyek, buku, dan lain-lain. Kendala utama guru selama pembelajaran online adalah mereka menemukan kesulitan dalam mengamati perkembangan siswa dan kesulitan dalam berkomunikasi dengan orang tua. Adapun upaya yang dilakukan guru untuk menyesuaikan pembelajaran online adalah dengan menyediakan materi/tugas dan menetapkan kompetensi dasar sesuai kebutuhan siswa.Kata kunci: kemampuan guru, pembelajaran online, pandemic covid-19.

Abstract

AbstractThe readiness of elementary school teachers during the COVID-19 pandemic to engage in distance learning is the basis for developing a training mode for teachers. This study aims to ensure the readiness of elementary school teachers to participate in distance learning and training during the COVID-19 pandemic. In this study, descriptive quantitative is used with online survey techniques. The research subjects were 85 elementary school teachers in Indonesia who voluntarily filled out a questionnaire. The data were collected through a questionnaire instrument with a Likert scale and open-ended questions. The data were analyzed by calculating the average of each item and making a percentage. Research findings indicate that 37.22% of the respondents were ready to engage in distance learning and training with a blended mode. They used various applications such as WhatsApp, Google Classroom, Google Form, and YouTube.Keywords: teachers’ readiness, elementary school, distance learning, training. AbstrakKesiapan guru SD di masa pandemi COVID-19 untuk mengikuti pembelajaran jarak jauh menjadi dasar pengembangan model pelatihan bagi guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memastikan kesiapan guru sekolah dasar untuk mengikuti pembelajaran dan pelatihan jarak jauh selama pandemi COVID-19. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan teknik survei online. Subyek penelitian adalah 85 guru sekolah dasar di Indonesia yang secara sukarela mengisi angket. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui instrumen angket dengan skala likert dan pertanyaan terbuka. Data dianalisis dengan menghitung rata-rata setiap item dan membuat persentase. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 37,22% responden siap untuk terlibat dalam pembelajaran dan pelatihan jarak jauh dengan mode campuran. Abstract

AbstractThis study aimed to develop the representative material of Islamic education management. The teaching materials using education management theories and thinking were enriched with articles using Mendeley reference management. Modified research and development designs method were used. Data were collected using a Google form. The population and sample were Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education (PGMI) IAIN Pontianak students of the academic year 2020/2021. Findings reported that teaching materials developed from online journals have a high level of usefulness and are easy to use. The students can get the latest references published in online journals, making it easier to understand and learn about the course topic. This study suggests that lecturers and students use Mendeley to look for references and write scientific papers.Keywords: Islamic education management, teaching material, scientific journal, mendeley. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan materi representatif manajemen pendidikan Islam. Materi ajar yang menggunakan teori dan pemikiran manajemen pendidikan diperkaya dengan artikel dengan menggunakan referensi manajemen Mendeley. Metode penelitian dan pengembangan yang dimodifikasi digunakan. Pengumpulan data menggunakan google form, populasi dan sampel dari mahasiswa Pendidikan Guru Madrasah Ibtiadiyah (PGMI) IAIN Pontianak tahun ajaran 2020/2021. Hasil penelitian dilaporkan bahwa bahan ajar yang dikembangkan dari jurnal online memiliki tingkat kegunaan yang tinggi dan mudah digunakan. Mahasiswa dapat memperoleh referensi terbaru yang telah dipublikasikan di jurnal online, sehingga lebih mudah dipahami dan mudah dipelajari sesuai dengan topik mata kuliah. Penelitian ini menyarankan dosen dan mahasiswa menggunakan Mendeley untuk mencari referensi dan menulis karya ilmiah.Kata kunci: manajemen pendidikan Islam, bahan ajar, jurnal ilmiah, mendeley.

Abstract

AbstractWith rapid advances in technology and information and child attachment to digital media, integrated digital literacy in the teaching and learning process is crucial. This study aims to determine the integrated digital media literacy in the teaching and learning process developed by the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah in DKI Jakarta and its impact on the prevention of vulnerability of the students' deviant behavior. This research used a qualitative method. The sample was taken randomly. The data were collected through virtual interviews –Zoom Meeting, WhatsApp Voice Call, virtual observation, Google form questionnaires, and documentation. Then, they were analyzed descriptively. This study found that Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) in DKI Jakarta has integrated digital media literacy through 4 strategies. They are the literacy of special programs, integrated to the learning material, learning sources provision, and literacy of teachers' and staff's exemplariness. The benefit of literacy to students is that they can prevent themselves from deviant behavior. It includes the ability to prevent bullying, avoid access to harmful content, and intercept cybercrime.Keywords: integrated learning, digital literacy, deviant behavior. AbstrakSeiring dengan pesatnya teknologi dan informasi serta keterikatan anak dengan media digital, integrasi literasi digital dalam pembelajaran merupakan keniscayaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pola integrasi literasi media digital dalam pembelajaran yang dikembangkan di tingkat Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Provinsi DKI Jakarta dan dampaknya terhadap pencegahan kerentanan perilaku menyimpang pada peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara acak dan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara virtual menggunakan platform zoom, watshap voice call, observasi virtual, kuesioner melalui google form serta studi dokumen. Analisis dalam penelitian dilakukan secara deskriptif.  Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa pola integrasi literasi media digital yang dikembangkan Madrasah Ibtidaiyah di Provinsi DKI Jakarta melalui 4 strategi yaitu literasi melalui program khusus, terintegrasi dalam materi pembelajaran, penyediaan sumber belajar dan literasi melalui keteladanan guru dan tenaga kependidikan. Manfaat literasi pada peserta didik mampu menumbuhkan efek cegah dari penyimpangan perilaku pada peserta didik diantaranya; mencegah bullying, menghindari akses konten negatif dan mencegah kejahatan siber.Kata kunci: integrasi pembelajaran, literasi digital, perilaku menyimpang.
