Jurnal Wilayah dan Kota Maritim adalah jurnal ilmiah yang dikelola dan diterbitkan oleh Departemen Perencanaan Wilayah dan Kota (PWK), Fakultas Teknik, Universitas Hasanuddin. Jurnal ini merupakan salah satu usaha nyata Universitas Hasanuddin melalui unit kerja Departemen PWK untuk mendiseminasikan hasil-hasil kajian, penelitian, perencanaan, pengabdian masyarakat, skripsi, tesis, dan disertasi yang berkaitan dengan bidang perencanaan wilayah dan kota dalam konteks kemaritiman kepada masyarakat luas dan pihak-pihak yang membutuhkan. Jurnal ini dimaksudkan pula sebagai sarana pertukaran pengetahuan dan informasi serta media pembelajaran bagi dunia akademisi dan praktisi utamanya mengenai penataan dan pengembangan kota tepi pantai (waterfront cities planning and development), perencanaan perumahan dan permukiman (housing and settlement planning), perencanaan dan perancangan kawasan perkotaan (urban planning and design), perencanaan infrastruktur dan transportasi (infrastructure and transportation), dan perencanaan wilayah dan mitigasi bencana (regional planning and disaster mitigation). Semoga sharing dan learning ini dapat memberi inspirasi atau bahkan lebih jauh daripada itu, dapat diaplikasikan dan karenanya  bermanfaat secara langsung kepada masyarakat luas dan tanah air tercinta. Abstract

Indonesia is currently focusing on handling urban areas that are very vulnerable to the effects of climate change. Therefore, the implementation of integrated spatial planning is an important element in creating a comfortable, productive and sustainable city. The City of Makassar has grown into a Metropolitan City with a population around 1.4 million people. Urban problems faced by The City of Makassar include, lack of Green Open Space (GOS), increasing amount of waste, congestion, flooding, management of wastewater that has not reached 100%, PDAM pipeline leakage is still very high and community participation in handling the environment is not optimal . This study aims to determine the existing conditions based on the Asian Green City Index (AGCI) in Makassar City, analyze the level of performance of Makassar City towards the Asian Green City Index (AGCI), and develop strategies to improve the Asian Green City Index (AGCI) in Makassar City. This study uses a qualitative and quantitative approach to assess the performance of Makassar City on the six attributes of the eight Green City attributes, which are, land use and building, transportation, water, waste, sanitation, and environmental governance. The results of this study are strategies for improving performance of each of the indicators of the Asian Green City Index (AGCI), which are based on priority scales in the form of additional open green space, the application of vertical building, and so on.

Abstract

The availability of inadequate parking facilities and the use of the road body as a parking lot cause traffic congestion along Jalan Sulawesi. This study aims to determine parking capacity, calculate parking requirements, and develop strategic directions to meet parking needs on Jalan Sulawesi. Data collection methods used were observation, interviews, and literature studies. The analytical method used is quantitative analysis, comparative analysis and descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that parking on Jalan Sulawesi on weekdays for cars and motorcycles respectively, 327 and 1,110 vehicles / hour. Parking capacity on holidays for cars and motorcycles respectively, 339 and 854 vehicles / hour. Furthermore, parking needs in the Sulawesi Road shopping corridor are based on parking patterns namely, 1,037 Parking Space Units (SRP) for 90º parking, 894 SRP for 60º parking, 819 SRP for 45º parking, 612 SRP 30º parking, and 399 SRP for parallel parking. Directions for meeting the needs of Sulawesi Road parking include, among others, providing parking pockets, applying parking patterns in accordance with parking capacity, conducting socialization related to rules in the parking system, and others.

Abstract

Malino is one of the tourist destinations known as the City of Flowers located in Gowa Regency. Research on private Green Open Space (RTH) that supports the Malino tourist area, analyzes infrastructure supporting flower tourism in private RTH, and develops a strategy for developing interest-based private RTH. Data collection methods used were observation, interviews, collection and study of literature. The analytical method used is descriptive qualitative analysis, quantitative analysis, comparative analysis, and SWOT analysis. The results of this study are, the percentage of houses without public open space is 34% while the shape of the interest in green open space is determined by the horizontal shape. Furthermore, the URL infrastructure is sufficient to support trade, clean air, public transportation, and others. As a strategy to develop Malino as the City of Flowers, it is by utilizing the ideal land area of ​​8-10% as Private Green Space, increasing accessibility to tourist sites, and increasing the type of flower vegetation, from various scents, clouds and shapes.

Abstract

Pambusuang Village is a village that has home industry activities, namely mandar weaving gloves (lipaq saqbe), sandeq boat industry, and salted fish industry. Households in Pambusuang Village, analyzed the support of productive supporting facilities and infrastructure related to households in Pambusuang Village, and formulated the principles of productive settlements related to home industries in Pambusuang Village. Data collection methods used were observation, questionnaires, interviews, documentation and literature studies. The Meotode analysis used was qualitative descriptive analysis of comparative analysis, and spatial analysis. The results of this study indicate that each industry has an area of ​​60-150 m2 including the type of simple house. The pattern of house grouping according to each type of industrial activity is the distribution pattern and grouping pattern. Related facilities and infrastructure that support housing including transportation for raw material distribution and production, utilization of home industries, and so on. Based on residential product principles related to home industry: 1) feasibility of housing; (2) waste treatment system; (3) facilities and infrastructure that are easy to obtain home industry support; and (4) home industry social community.

Abstract

Majene Regency is located in West Sulawesi Province, which is one of the areas with coastal tourism potential, one of which is Dato Beach. Dato Beach has the beauty of a tropical beach that is divided into two parts, namely, sandy beaches and coral reef beach tourism. This study aims to identify potential and problems and formulate direction for ecotourism planning. Data collection methods used are observation and literature study. While the analytical method used is, descriptive analysis of the potential and problems of Dato Beach, scoring analysis, and spatial analysis. The results of this research show the potential of Dato Beach, namely, the potential of tourist attractions such as natural scenery, swimming, fishing, snorkeling, diving, boating and other activities. However, the problems that hamper the development of Dato Beach as a tourist area, namely, the lack of adequate infrastructure such as clean water, public toilets, trash bins and also access roads that are not yet URL. The direction of ecotourism planning for Dato Beach focuses on four components, namely, tourist attractions, zoning, infrastructure, and accessibility.

Abstract

Pangkep Regency, especially the Maccini Baji Hamlet, is one of the areas that has the potential to be developed as a minapolitan area. Therefore, in its development it is necessary to increase the facilities and infrastructure supporting the Minapolitan area. The purpose of this study was to analyze the feasibility of the infrastructure URL in Dusun Maccini Baji and formulate a strategy to improve the infrastructure. Data collection methods used are, observation, interviews, and literature studies. The analytical methods used are qualitative descriptive analysis, quantitative analysis, SWOT analysis, Internal Factor Evaluation (IFE) Analysis, External Factor Evaluation (EFE) Analysis, and Quantitative Strategy Planning Matrix (QSPM) Analysis. The results of this study indicate that the IFE value is 1.97 (positive) and EFE 1.3 (positive). The coordinate point in the Kuandran I contest is growth. Based on the QSPM table, the alternative strategy has a typical TAS. The first alternative is TAS 10.28, while the second alternative is TAS 10.53. Based on the total results of each alternative, the most appropriate alternative strategy to be implemented in the Minapolitan area is the Fast Growth Strategy.

Abstract

The rapid growth of the population in Makassar causes various problems, one of which is congestion. Congestion occurs because of the imbalance in the growth of road geometric conditions with the volume of existing vehicles. Mass transportation is one solution to congestion problems. Rail-based public transportation mode is an effective mode of transportation for carrying large numbers of passengers. One mode of rail-based mass transportation is the tram. This study aims to determine the ideal tram transportation system, the potential for the application of trams in Makassar and recommend the concept of tram transportation for Makassar. The analytical method used is descriptive qualitative analysis, synthesis of literature studies, comparative analysis and spatial analysis. Based on the results of the analysis of aspects 1) of the economy, 2) social and 3) the environment, the potential for the implementation of tram technology in Makassar City is very large. Recommendations for applying tram transportation in Makassar City include vehicle recommendations, route recommendations and station recommendations and stops.

Abstract

Drainage is one of the basic infrastructure which is an important component in urban planning. This study aims to determine the condition of existing drainage, identify the location of inundation, and arrange direction for drainage infrastructure development in Lappa Village. Data collection is done through direct observation, interviews, documentation and literature studies. The analytical methods used include, hydrological analysis, descriptive qualitative and quantitative, and geographical analysis using ArcGis 10.4 software. The results of this study indicate that there are 2 out of a total of 17 overflowing drainage on Jalan Sunu and Squid. Furthermore, the results of the comparative discharge plan and excisiting there are 6 drainage networks that are not able to accommodate the flow of water which will eventually cause inundation. The efforts made to improve the performance of the drainage network system are structuring a structured maintenance operation system so that maintenance operations are carried out regularly, forming a drainage management institution so that authority and responsibility can be coordinated in a directed manner and making clear management system regulations.

Abstract

The existence of pedestrian ways in the central area of ​​Makassar City is expected to be able to provide optimal services to the community. The diversity of land use around Lapangan Karebosi as the city center triggered the pedestrian activities on the Jalan R.A. Kartini, Jalan Kadjaolalido, Jalan Ahmad Yani, and Jalan Jenderal Sudirman. But the function of the road space as a public space is disrupted due to misuse of land use. The purpose of this study is to identify the quality of the pedestrian path based on government policy, analyze the performance of the pedestrian path and prepare directions for pedestrian development that will be applied. The location of this study includes four road segments around the Karebosi Field in Makassar City. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method to determine the quality of pedestrian lines based on governmental policy and analysis of Level Of Service (LOS) to determine the level of pedestrian line services. The results of this study show that the Jalan Kadjaolalido and Jalan Jenderal Sudirman segments are a line in the criteria of LOS A, Jalan R.A. Kartini segmens are line in the criteria of LOS A and B, and Jalan Ahmad Yani are a line in the criteria of LOS F. Completeness of supporting facilities in all pedestrian lines is still lacking and needed an increasing in services.

Abstract

To support the Vision of Gowa Regency, it is necessary to develop botanical edu-garden in improving the quality of society by improving the quality of the environment and public awareness of sustainable environmentally friendly infrastructure. The research and conservation strategies of Botanic Edu-Garden are used to provide direct benefits to regional, national and international communities in supporting community thinking about the need for equality and social responsibility around issues of plant conservation and climate change. This study aims to explore the concept of ideal botanic edu-garden planning in the best cities in the world, identify the potential of Pattalassang District in the implementation of the edu-garden botanic planning concept and make the concept of botanic edu-garden planning in Pattalassang District. The analytical method used is descriptive comparative analysis, analysis of the proportion of population, spatial analysis and analysis of economic, social and environmental potential to formulate the concept of edu-garden botanic planning. The results of the analysis indicate the purpose of edu-park botany development affects the facilities to be built. Pattalassang District is very strategic as the location of the Botanic Edu-Garden development site. The concept of planning that was formulated was a botanical edu-park which was mostly adapted from the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens.
