Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of training and work motivation on employee performance at PT. Cita Cendera Mata (Omiyage Group F&B). The background of this research is based on the declining Key Performance Indicator (KPI) scores of employees over the past three years, indicating problems in the areas of training and motivation. This research uses a quantitative method with an associative approach. The sample consisted of 60 respondents from a total population of 150 employees, selected using the Slovin formula. Data collection was carried out through questionnaires, and data analysis was conducted using SPSS version 30, including validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, and multiple linear regression analysis. The results show that training and work motivation have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, both partially and simultaneously. Therefore, training and work motivation are important factors in improving employee performance at PT. Cita Cendera Mata

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of local business actors in encouraging the formation of the halal industry ecosystem in the tourist destination of Senggigi Beach, West Lombok. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods with data collection through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed that business actors have taken the initiative to provide halal services even though most of them are not certified. They realize the potential of the Muslim tourist market and begin to adjust food services, accommodation, and worship facilities. However, constraints such as lack of training, regulations and supporting infrastructure were also found. In conclusion, the role of local businesses is quite significant in building a halal ecosystem, but government support and institutional strengthening are still needed.

Abstract

Lack of understanding of basic financial concepts, less positive attitudes towards financial management and difficulty controlling oneself in financial matters lead to poor financial management. This study aims to determine the effect of financial literacy, financial attitudes and self-control on financial management in students of Muhadi Setiabudi University. This research was conducted using a quantitative descriptive approach. The population in this study were active students of Muhadi Setiabudi University in 2021-2024 totaling 1,033 people. The sampling technique used the Slovin formula with a 5% margin of error so that 289 people were obtained. The data used were primary data in the form of questionnaires. Data analysis techniques with multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS. The results of the study showed that the financial literacy variable has a positive and very significant effect on student financial management, the financial attitude variable has a positive and very significant effect on student financial management, the self-control variable has a positive and very significant effect on student financial management and simultaneously financial literacy, financial attitude and self-control have a positive effect on student financial management.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are one of the main pillars of the national economy, contributing significantly to the gross domestic product and employment absorption. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of education level, business size, and accounting comprehension on the recording of simple bookepping in Mitra Mandiri MSMEs in Brebes District. This study employs a quantitative approach, with data collected through questionnares, interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used include descriptive statistical analysis, instrumen testing (validity and reliability test), classical assumption test (normality, heteroscedasticity, and multicollinearity), linear regression analysis, hypothesus testing ( t-test ada F-test), and the coeficient of determination, using SPSS Statistic. The result of the partial test show that the education level has a significant influence on simple bookkeeping practices (significance value 0,001< 0,05). Meanwhile, business size (0,404 > 0,05) and accounting comprehension (0,899 > 0,05) do not show a significant individual effect. However, simultaneously, the three variables have a significant influence on bookkeeping practices (significance value 0,001 < 0,05).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of accountability and transparency on the realization of the Village Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBDes), with economic growth as an intervening variable. The research was conducted in Pejagan Village, Tanjung Subdistrict, Brebes Regency, with the study subjects comprising the entire population of Pejagan Village. A quantitative method was employed, involving both primary and secondary data collection. The research population included all married residents of Pejagan Village, based on family card records, totaling 1,422 individuals. The sample size was determined using the Slovin formula, resulting in 313 respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to the respondents and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The results reveal that accountability has a positive and significant effect on the realization of APBDes in Pejagan Village. Similarly, transparency also shows a positive and significant influence on APBDes realization. Furthermore, both accountability and transparency are proven to have a positive and significant impact on economic growth. In turn, economic growth has a positive and significant effect on APBDes realization. However, the findings also indicate that accountability and transparency simultaneously influence the realization of APBDes through economic growth. While the indirect effect of accountability on APBDes realization through economic growth is not significant, the indirect effect of transparency through economic growth is significant. These findings underscore the importance of enhancing accountability and transparency in village financial management as essential factors in ensuring effective budget realization and promoting local economic development.

Abstract

The main issue in employee performance is the lack of work productivity. Achieving good employee performance is imperative to address this challenge. However, not all employees meet the expected performance standards. This poses a particular challenge for BAZNAS Brebes, which in recent years has faced inconsistent employee performance issues. This study aims to investigate the influence of human relations and human resource development (HRD) on employee performance at BAZNAS Brebes. The research adopts a quantitative approach, collecting data through questionnaires from 36 respondents who are employees of BAZNAS Brebes. The study was conducted from February to July 2025. Data analysis employed multiple regression analysis to test the relationships between the variables. The results indicate that human relations significantly influence employee performance partially, with better interpersonal relationships among colleagues and supervisors correlating positively with performance improvement. HRD did not show a direct significant influence on employee performance, indicating the need for further evaluation of HRD strategies and implementation at BAZNAS Brebes. Simultaneously, both variables demonstrated a significant influence on employee performance, emphasizing the importance of a strategic combination to enhance organizational effectiveness.

Abstract

Employee performance is a crucial factor in determining the success of public sector organizations, particularly in personnel management. This study aims to analyze the influence of competence, motivation, and job satisfaction on employee performance at the Human Resources Development and Staffing Agency of South Tangerang City. A quantitative associative approach was employed, with data collected through questionnaires distributed to 50 respondents. The data were analyzed using multiple regression analysis with the assistance of SPSS version 25. The results show that the three independent variables competence, motivation, and job satisfaction have a significant influence on employee performance. These findings provide important implications for management in designing employee development policies and strategies aimed at enhancing overall organizational performance in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

The advancement of digital transformation has profoundly altered conventional business operations, including those conducted by Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). This research seeks to investigate the impact of digitalization, with a specific focus on internet usage, electronic money (e-money), and electronic commerce (e-commerce), on Indonesia’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and the circulating money supply (M2). The study utilizes a simultaneous equation modeling approach, employing the Two-Stage Least Squares (TSLS) estimation technique to analyze the interrelationships among variables. The empirical findings reveal that internet usage, the capital owned by MSMEs, and the volume of money in circulation exert a significant influence on the nation’s economic growth. Conversely, only internet usage is found to have a statistically significant effect on the money supply. These outcomes underscore the pivotal function of MSMEs within the digital economic ecosystem and emphasize the necessity for well-organized digitalization strategies. Consequently, the research advocates for robust governmental intervention and support to accelerate the digital transformation of MSMEs, aiming to maximize their role in driving Indonesia’s overall economic progress.

Abstract

This study analyzes the factors that influence the use of the Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS) among Generation Z in Surabaya, using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) approach extended with gender variables. With quantitative methods and PLS-SEM analysis, the results of the study indicate that perceived ease of use and usefulness of QRIS significantly influence attitudes toward use, behavioral intentions, and actual behavior. In addition, gender also has a positive effect on perceived ease of use and usefulness. These findings confirm that convenience, benefits, and gender differences play an important role in driving the adoption and use of QRIS by Generation Z

Abstract

This study focuses on analyzing the influence of family financial education and peer on students' financial management behavior with self-control as a mediating variable. The subjects studied were students of the 2021-2024 Economic Education undergraduate study program at Surabaya State University, with a sample size of 233 students. The method used was quantitative and the sampling technique was Convenience Sampling. The data analysis technique was in the form of a Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) test with WarpPLS software. The results showed that family and peer financial education had a positive and significant effect on financial management behavior. Other results stated that self-control did not have a significant effect as a mediating variable.
