Abstract

This research used one group pre-test-post tes design with 69 students of semester I Departement of Chemistry-FMIPA-UM. The sample were divided into three groups i.e upper, middle and lower groups and given a treatment with chemical bond learning materials with POE strategy. Five misconceptions from upper, middle, and lower groups were found in pre-test. Results of post-test showed that there were no misconceptions in upper and middle groups but two misconceptions were still found in lower group.

Abstract

This study is aimed to investigate students’ difficulties in learning wave based on research literatures. They consist of eleven international and two national research articles. The study has identified students’ difficulties in understanding mechanical wave, such as wave propagation, superposition, wave characteristic, refraction, and sound. Regarding the difficulties revealed in the literature study, it is suggested to employ alternative ways of teaching by modelling.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is (1) to produce a media product of social science learning traditional game Gaprek Kempung by utilizing the existing facilities in the surrounding environment, (2) to determine the effectiveness of the development of instructional media of social science traditional games Gaprek Kempung to improve learning outcomes on economic subjects grade VII SMP N 1 Tumpang. Based on the analysis testing the effectiveness of instructional media traditional game Gaprek Kempung by using software IBM SPSS 24 with the formula t-test, t-hitung obtained from posttest control class and experimental class SMP N 1 Tumpang amounted to 2,763 with t-table value is 2.005 thus t-hitung> t-tabel which means an increase in the economic value of learning outcomes experimental class is better than the control class. Furthermore, gained a significance value of 0.007 <α (0.05), indicating that H1 accepted meaning experimental class is better than the control class. This study showed that media learning traditional games Gaprek Kempung further enhance the economic value of student learning outcomes compared with no use of instructional media. This means media learning traditional game Gaprek Kempung is worthy to be used to improve students’ learning outcomes and media learning traditional game Gaprek Kempung is effectively to improve students’ learning outcomes.

Abstract

In recent past, futsal field development in Indonesia is rapidly growing since this sport is getting popular among the people. Futsal is a one kind of football with different rules of playing. Similarly, futsal aims at shooting a ball to the opponents goal post. Additionally, in futsal also referee serves to determine the eligibility of goal made by the players and command the whole game. Conventionally, in determining the goal made by the players relies on the eyes movement skill in overseeing the ball. However, it claims to be inaccurate and ineffective. Thus, this research deals with the development of Optimization Accuracy System in Goal Detection using Square Grid Model in Laser and Photodiode and using additional validation through pixy camera which can work hand in hand with the referee in taking a decision of a goal made. Data Validation of PIXY CMU CAM in the form of color detection and referee decision data will be sent through bluetooth to the system. The system trials showed that the accuracy level of ball detection using square grid method was 80%. It indicated that the improvement of efficiency reaches 30% compare to the manual one.

Abstract

This study aims to know the relation between religiousity (X1) and psychological well being (Y), the relation between optimism (X2) and psychological well being (Y), as well as the relation between social support (X3) and psychological well being (Y) of students of MAN in the entire Malang city. This study was a non-experimental study with causal relationship study plan. The result of this research showed that there was a positive significant between X1 and Y, X2 and Y, X3 and Y; X1, X2, X3 had strong linear relation with Y; the influence of the three independent logical well being (Y), optimism (X2) dan psychological well being (Y), social support (X3) and psychological well being (Y) student of MAN se-Kota Malang.

Abstract

Asplenium is one genus ferns aspleniaceae tribal members. Identification of the classification of the species can be determined by one of the morphological characteristics of the spores. Spore morphological characteristics include the shape, size, and type aperture ornamentation. The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the species based on morphological characters spores. The method used is descriptive explorative to explore ferns Asplenium. The research found that five types of Asplenium is Asplenium nidus, Asplenium robustum, Asplenium salignum, Asplenium tenerum, and Asplenium unilaterale. The difference of 5 species Asplenium lies in the type of ornamentation characteristic morphology and size of the spores, whereas the equation is the shape, size and type categories aperture spores.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to produce module based on three phase learning cycle model for thermochemistry at chemical engineering course, to determine the validity of module development results through the test of readibility and expert validation, and to assess the effectiveness of module. The analysis using independent data T test with SPSS 16.0 for windows with p – value < 0.05. The results of this study showed that there was an influence of thermochemistry module based of three phase learning cycle on learning outcomes of university students.

Abstract

Mathematical connection is an interconnection among concepts in a similar topic and an interconnection among materials in a particular topic with other topic in mathematics. When students can connect mathematical ideas, their understanding is deeper and more lasting. This research studies about the structure of mathematical connection of the students with a high mathematical abilities in solving problem on Linear Equation System Two Variable (LESTV) by giving individual worksheet and interviewing one subject with a high mathematical abilities. The structure of mathematical connection is studied by linking the indicators of mathematical connection that are: (1) recognizing and utilizing the relationship between mathematical ideas, and (2) understanding how the mathematical ideas are connected and built each other resulting the ideas thoroughly and coherently.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the learning process with the approach of Realistic Mathematics Education (RME), which can increase the motivation to learn mathematics student in materials Systems of Linear Equations in Two Variables on VIII-C students of SMP IT Ash-Shadhili. This research was a Classroom Action Research consisting of four stages, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. In the RME approach, teachers initiate learning by giving realistic problems. Students are asked to understand the problem and then solve it by discussing based on their knowledge and experience on teacher guidance. Students are then asked to discuss and compare answers through presentation activities during class discussions. Teachers motivate students to ask questions, give feedback or feedback. At the end of the learning the students are given the opportunity to deduce the material they have learned. The results showed that the RME approach learning can increase student motivation. This was proven by the percentage of observation results of students' learning motivation classically reached 83.33%, while the average percentage of observation results every meeting of two observers reached 80.37% in either category.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to produce and know the quality of quantum learning based economics pocket book. In developing economics pocket book the research uses design based research. The result of study show that the matter experts, education and education practtioners provide ratings that economics is a very decent to be used without revision. Besides design experts provide decent ratings with the revition. The result of the field test showed positive responses from students with the acquistion of a persentage of 90% in addition to the field tes results II also earn a percentage of 87,4%. Based on the result above, economics pocket book is very decend for be used without revision.
