Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement of motivation and student learning outcomes during the implementation of learning using learning model think pair share assisted images media. The subject were students of the fourth grade at Sd Inpers Mangga Dua Merauke. The analysis technique used descriptive analysis. Data collections teqniques used: observation, questionnaires, and tests. The result of this study showed that the implementation of learning model think pair share and images media was effective to improve motivation and learning outcomes. The implementation of learning model think pair share and images media can improve average score of learning motivation from 74.91% in cycles 1 into 87.27% in cycles 2. The improvement of student learning outcome was 68,81% in cycle 1 and 86.36% in cycles. The results indicate that implementation learning model of think pair share and images media can improve motivation and learning outcomes.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to produce instructional media such as video clips that feasible as a supplements implement on Nation Cultural Variety matter. This study uses a five-step development refers to the model developed by Lee & Owens. Test subjects in this study were students and teachers of SD N Nogotirto Gamping Sleman. The results showed that video clips media meet the criteria of very valid with an average of 81.85% product validity. The level of practicality and attractiveness of the products based on user trials are respectively 96.38% and 94.39%. Activities of students acquire 89.00% rate of attainment. Based on the results of the product analysis can be concluded that the video clip is very well worth to be used as an instructional supplements implement on Nation Cultural Variety matter.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop the appropriate treatment instrument and measurement instrument of concept mastery. This research use approach of research and development of ADDIE model. Data obtained from expert validator and student of SMAN 1 Blitar. The validation results of both expert validator obtained 17 items valid and test results obtained 15 items valid question. The reliability of the con-cept mastery measurement instrument has a very high category with coefficient value α = 0.682. The difficulty level of the item consists of 2 item in easy category questions, 8 item in medium category, and 7 item in difficult category questions. Different problem of item consists of 1 item of bad category, 4 item of good category, and 12 item of excellent category.

Abstract

Scientific reasoning skills help students to explain concepts and argumentations, which is it’s beneficial for student. This article aims to identification pattern of scientific reasoning student that used to solving problems in heat and temperature material. Type of research is descriptive quantitative with 97 students. Instrument is used 4 item essay test of scientific reasoning with reliability 0.726. the scientific reasoning analyze with the rubric that level and category from pattern of correlational reasoning, proportional reasoning, and probabilistic reasoning. Results of research shows that scientific of reasoning skills in correlational reasoning 44.3% students into category of NR (no relationship). Then, in proportional reasoning 24.7% students into category of AD (Additive). In the last, in probabilistic reasoning 62.8% students into category of AP (Approximate). So, the conclusion of the research is students still in low level of category of scientific reasoning skills.

Abstract

This study is aimed to develop English course-book for second grade of kindergarten. The method used in this study is Research and Development (R&D). The steps of this study consist of needs analysis, material development, expert validation, first revision, try out, second revision, and final product. The result of this study indicates that the developed product is applicable for young learners. Additionally, the product is attractive and fun to be used.

Abstract

This study tried to describe the principal in managing conflict of the application negative impact of the implementation of the Full Day School this research was conducted using qualitative approach with a phenomenological method. These results indicate that the principal can perform a variety of strategies to fix conflict so as not to interfere with the performance of teachers, child's comfort, and confidence of parents.

Abstract

This study aims to implement of Problem Based Learning combined Think Pair Share in order to improve critical thinking and science process skills of students at XI IPA SMA. This research was classroom action research. The subjects were 28 students of classroom XI IPA 1 SMAN 1 Kasiman Bojonegoro 2016/2017. This research was conducted in two cycles. The research data consists of the learning realized by observation, the results of the critical thinking paper and pencil tests, and the science process skills by observation. Data were analyzed by descriptive qualitative technique. The results showed that the combined PBL and TPS learning model can improve the ability of critical thinking, and science process skills students of classroom XI IPA 1 SMAN 1 Kasiman Bojonegoro.

Abstract

Ficus racemosa L., is a species of Ficus who found in National Parks Bantimurung Bulusaraung Kab. Maros. Ficus racemosa L., and belongs to the family Moraceae. This research present an anatomical study concerning the leaf structure of Ficus racemosa L., and the potential contained in these plants. In this research showed that Ficus racemosa L., have stomata with diasitik type contained on the lower side of leaves (hipostomata) and trichomes shaped non-glandular unicellular, it found on both sides of the leaves (adaksial and abaksial). Anatomical structures of Ficus racemosa L., there litosit cells that characterizes of family Moracea, it has a rounded shape and it’s found upper of epidermis cells. Ficus racemosa L., has the potential to treat diabetes, antioxidants, anti-inflamantory, hpatopro-tective, anti-diuretic, and it contained phytochemicals.

Abstract

This study was aimed to identify the significant differences of social studies learning result between a group of students who used local genius based contextual approach and a group of students who used conventional learning approach. The design of this study was quasi experiment with non equivalent pretest-posttest only control group design. The population of this study was students of all grade eight which consists of 97 students. Purposive sampling technique was used to get the samples for this study. The experimental group was class VIII C and the control group was class VIII D. The researcher got the data of the students learning result by administering test which consisted of 20 questions of multiple choices. Independent sample t-test was used to analyze the data. From the result of this study, the researcher concluded that there was significant differences of students learning result between students who used local genius based contextual approach and students who used conventional learning approach. It can be seen from the result of t-test which used independent sample t-test.T-value was higher than T-table, (2.811>1.679).

Abstract

This research aims at developing economic literacy learning materials. This development research employed Design Based Research (DBR) which have particular characteristics. It aims at developing product based on the necessity and collaborateing with development result user (practitioners). Descriptive quantitative analysis was used to analyze the data regarding material validation score. The analysis was conducted to determine whether the learning material developed fulfills the criteria of validity. The validity was obtained from expertise validator. Validity data were analyzed using descriptive quantitative. The result of trials analysis obtained 80.25%. It indicates that picture based learning materias developed is appropariate. In addition, the learning material could improve the learning motivation of the students. It was showed by the result students’ response which obtained 78.91% (categorized as good). Supplementary, picture story based learning materials could improve students understanding on economic literacy. It indicated by the result of students’ response which obtained 75.35% and categorized as good.
