Abstract

Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa dengan penerapan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) di kelas VII  SMP Negeri 3 Medan Tahun Ajaran 2022/2023. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII  SMP Negeri 3 Medan Tahun Ajaran 2022/20233 yang berjumlah 32 orang dan objek dalam penelitian ini adalah kemampuan berpikir kreatif  matematika siswa pada materi himpunan dengan model Problem Based Learning (PBL). Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh (1) skor kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik siklus I secara keseluruhan berada pada kriteria sedang dengan rata-rata skor 73,77 dan meningkat pada siklus II dengan rata-rata skor 81,47 berada pada kriteria tinggi.

Abstract

PowToon-based learning media is one of the media presented in video format that can be used as an effective learning medium. The purpose of this study was to develop a valid and practical Powtoon-based environmental mathematics lesson based on statistical data for Grade VII students of SMP Negeri 2 Percut Sei Tuan. The subjects of this study were 20 class VII students who were selected using a purposive sampling method. A 4D approach (Define, Design, Development, Dissemination) was used to develop this learning. To demonstrate statistical material in video format, the results of the research are used as learning media for statistical material. The product received a 0.85 score from 3 validators based on very valid criteria. The practicality of the product received a practicality rating of 82.91% with very practical criteria, as evidenced by the results of 20 students' answers regarding the use of a PowToon-based mathematics learning environment on statistics material. In addition, the PowToon-based learning environment is distributed via YouTube for easy access for students. Thus, it can be said that the PowToon-based mathematics learning environment is a valid and practical tool that can be used as a mathematics teaching tool.Keywords: Learning Media, Powtoon, Presenter

pembelajaran berbasis masalah. Penelitian ini akan menggunakan PTK (PTK). Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Negeri 7 Medan di Jl. Pangaribuan Medan, Kecamatan Medan, Kabupaten Tapanuli Utara, Sumatera Utara selama tahun pelajaran 2022/2023. Dalam penelitian ini, 36 siswa kelas 12 SMA Negeri 7 Medan diwawancarai. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu tes dan non tes, untuk bagian tes menggunakan  tes  pemahaman matematis dan Tes Berpikir Kreatif Matematis sedangkan non tes yaitu    Pengamatan Terhadap Kegiatan Pembelajaran. Hasil temuan dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan Berdasarkan hasil observasi dan analisis dari siklus I dan siklus II diperoleh informasi sebagai berikut. Setelah diberikan tindakan pada siklus I, jumlah siswa yang mampu berpikir lancar adalah 69%, jumlah siswa yang mampu berpikir luwes adalah 67%, dan jumlah siswa yang mampu berpikir orisinal adalah 6%. Setelah diakumulasikan, berdasarkan aturan penilaian jumlah siswa yang mampu berpikir kreatif pada siklus I sebanyak 18 (50%) siswa dari 36 siswa. Karena persentase jumlah siswa yang mampu berpikir kreatif belum mencapai indikator keberhasilan yaitu minimal 75% dari seluruh siswa mendapatkan nilai minimal 2,51 sehingga pembelajaran harus dilanjutkan pada siklus II. Setelah dilakukan tindakan pada siklus II, jumlah siswa yang mampu berpikir lancar adalah 92%, jumlah siswa yang mampu berpikir luwes adalah 86%, dan jumlah siswa yang mampu berpikir orisinal adalah 11%. Setelah diakumulasikan, berdasarkan aturan penilaian jumlah siswa yang mampu berpikir kreatif pada siklus I sebanyak 27 (75%) siswa dari 36 siswa. Walaupun tidak semua indikator dapat mencapai nilai minimal tetapi karena persentase jumlah siswa secara klasikal yang mencapai nilai minimal 2,51 lebih dari 75% dari seluruh siswa, maka penelitian dihentikan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) Meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa dengan menggunakan pembelajaran berbasis masalah pada siswa kelas X BKP SMK Negeri 14 Medan; 2) Mendeskripsikan peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa. Penelitian ini berbasis kelas. Peserta kelas X BKP SMK Negeri 14 Medan sebanyak 24 siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa kelas X BKP SMK Negeri 14 Medan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah. Berdasarkan analisis data setelah pemberian tindakan pada siklus I dengan pemberian tes kemampuan berpikir kritis matematika I, 16 dari 24 siswa (66,67%) mencapai ketuntasan belajar. Setelah tindakan II, 21 (87,5%) dari 24 siswa yang memiliki ketuntasan belajar (skor 65) diuji kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis II. Ketuntasan klasikal naik 20,83 persen. Kriteria ketuntasan klasik terpenuhi. Menurut penelitian, peneliti masa depan harus fokus pada pemikiran kritis dalam pembelajaran dan menerapkannya pada mata pelajaran yang berbeda.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the relationship between teachers and school conditions on school test scores. Correspondence and cluster analysis are the analytical methods used. For school conditions to be classified into 3 clusters, 4 clusters, and 5 clusters, cluster analysis is used. The variable is tested using the G test to determine the affect on school test scores. This study resulted in a variable that has an impact on school test scores, school conditions with a p-value < α, so a correspondence analysis plot was formed to show the correlation between school conditions and school test scores. Good school conditions will result in good school test scores. Meanwhile, a reasonably good school conditions will result in fairly good school test scores. The correlation of school test scores with teachers shows that good school test scores are resulted by teachers with very good quality. Fairly good school test scores are resulted by good and fairly good teachers. Meanwhile, poor school test scores are resulted by teachers with poor quality. Keywords: School test scores, teacher, school conditions, correspondence analysis, and cluster analysis.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' mathematical reasoning abilities at SMP Negeri 1 Percut Sei Tuan with a problem-based learning model. This type of research is class action research. The research was conducted in Class VII-1 of SMP Negeri 1 Percut Sei Tuan with a total of 32 students. This study uses data reduction and exposure. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the application of a problem-based learning model using LKPD can improve students' mathematical reasoning abilities in SMP Negeri 1 Percut Sei Tuan. This is based on the achievement of predetermined success indicators, where the average percentage of classical mastery of students' mathematical reasoning abilities has reached 85%, the results in cycle II are 90.6%, and student absorption is  68. Furthermore, the learning process by applying the approach of problem-based learning using LKPD is at least in the "good" category, where the score is > 2.5. In the results of this study, the average learning process in the second cycle was at a value of 3.52, which is in the "good" category.

Abstract

This study aims to find out: (1) what efforts are being made to improve the mathematical problem-solving skills of students in class XI, IPS 1, of Medan 7 State Senior High School through a problem-based learning model; and (2) how to improve students' mathematical problem-solving skills in class XI, IPS 1, of Medan 7 State Senior High School after applying the problem-based learning model. This type of research is called "classroom action research," which is carried out in two cycles, each of which is carried out in two meetings. The subjects in this study were 35 students in class XI at Medan 7 State Senior High School. The data collection techniques used were teacher and student observation sheets and tests of mathematical problem-solving abilities. The test was carried out three times: the initial test, the ability test to solve mathematical problems I, and the ability test to solve mathematical problems II. The findings of this study show that: (1) students' mathematical problem-solving abilities were assessed before being given action, with as many as 3 students (8.57%) achieving learning mastery and 32 students (91.42%) not achieving learning mastery. (2) After being given action in cycle I, it was found that 19 students (54.28%) had achieved learning mastery and 16 students (44.71%) had not reached the learning mastery level. (3) In cycle II, 31 students (88.57%) achieved mastery learning, while 4 students (11.429%) did not achieve mastery learning, resulting in a 34.29% increase from cycle I to cycle II.

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) obtain learning tools developed using an open-ended approach using hypercontent that meet validity, practicability, and effectiveness to improve students' creative thinking skills; and 2) describe how to apply learning tools developed using an open-ended approach using hypercontent to improve students' creative thinking skills. This study is concerned with development. The ADDIE development paradigm was used in this study. 1) The development of learning tools based on an open-ended approach using hypercontent meets the criteria of validity, practicability, and effectiveness of learning tools; 2) In trial I and trial II, the ability to improve creative thinking skills using learning tools based on an open-ended approach using hypercontent increased from 0.22 with low criteria to 0.39 with moderate criteria.

Abstract

The study aims to: 1) develop valid, practical, and effective quality learning materials for class VII SMP Berastagi 1 Program that focuses on the contextual teaching and learning model with the Karo cultural context (CTL-KCC); and 2) examine the enhancement of students' math problem-solving abilities as a side effect of using CTL-KCC learning materials. This research is development research using a 4-D development model consisting of four stages: define, design, develop, and disseminate. This research yielded learning materials such as learning implementation plans, student books, student worksheets, and mathematical problem-solving ability tests.The following conclusions were uncovered as a result of the research:1) In regards to their respective criteria, CTL-KCC learning materials had also met the valid, practical, and effective criteria.2) The N-gain value during the first trial of 0.30 for the "medium" criteria enhanced to 0.47 for the "moderate" criteria in the second trial, indicating an improvement in students' ability to solve mathematical problems using CTL-KCC learning materials.

Abstract

This study was carried out with the aim of determining whether the improvement in mathematical problem solving ability of students taught by the PBL learning model was higher than students that taught using the DL learning model. In this study, the population was all class XI science students at Markus High School Medan. The type of research used is quasi experimental research. The research samples were selected using purposive sampling techniques (selection of samples based on certain characteristics). Furthermore, randomization was carried out on the two classes selected to be designated as experimental class I and experimental class II. Class XI IPA 1 was selected as a PBL experiment class with 30 students and class XI IPA 2 was selected as a DL experimental class with 30 students. This study used the Anakova test. Based on the results of the study, it can be said that: Students who are taught using the PBL models are higher than students who are taught using the DL model with F_count > F_table shows that in student’s mathematical problem solving ability there are differences, is 5.936 > 4.01.
