Abstract

Lately, the study of astronomy in Islamic boarding schools has been less attractive. One factor is the lack of media or instruments to support astronomy learning, one of which is at the Al-Firdaus YPMI Islamic Boarding School. This service aims to integrate theory and practice in astronomy through al-Murobba' media. This study uses the Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) method, which is to develop astronomical scientific assets that are owned by the Al-Firdaus YPMI Islamic Boarding School. Service results show that integrating theory and practice in learning astronomy using al-Murabba' can improve cognitive, psychomotor, and affective aspects. This can be seen from the participants' pre-test and post-test results.Akhir-akhir ini kajian ilmu falak di pesantren kurang diminati. Salah satu faktornya adalah kurangnya media atau instrumen untuk mendukung pembelajaran ilmu falak, salah satunya di Pondok Pesantren Al-Firdaus YPMI. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengintegrasikan teori dan praktik dalam ilmu falak melalui media al-Murobba'. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Asset Based Community Development (ABCD), yaitu mengembangkan aset keilmuan astronomi yang dimiliki oleh Pondok Pesantren Al-Firdaus YPMI. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa pengintegrasian teori dan praktik dalam pembelajaran astronomi menggunakan al-Murabba' dapat meningkatkan aspek kognitif, psikomotorik, dan afektif. Hal ini terlihat dari hasil pre-test dan post-test para peserta.

Abstract

Bumdes sebagai sebuah badan usaha milik desa memiliki tujuan utama untuk menggerakkan ekonomi desa sehingga mampu mewujudkan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Peraturan Pemerintah (PP) Nomor 11 tahun 2021 Pasal 1 mengamanatkan Bumdes untuk mengembangkan produktivitas dan investasi desa. Meskipun begitu, masih banyak Bumdes yang belum berkembang. Salah satunya adalah Bumdes di kabupaten Kendal Jawa Tengah, yakni Bumdes Rizki Amanah, Desa Tambahrejo kecamatan Pageruyung yang masih tergolong sebagai Bumdes rintisan (bintang 1). Padahal Bumdes Rizki Amanah memiliki beberapa unit usaha seperti pembayaran listrik dan air, toko kelontong, persewaan lapangan bulu tangkis, serta koperasi simpan pinjam. Tujuan utama dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan skala usaha (scale up) pada Bumdes yang berada di kabupaten Kendal. Metode pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) yang memberikan perhatian pada inventarisasi asset yang ada dalam sebuah masyarakat yang dianggap mendukung aktivitas pemberdayaan. Dari kegiatan pengabdian yang telah dilakukan, ditemukan bahwa faktor utama dari kurang berkembangnya Bumdes di kabupaten Kendal adalah kurang optimalnya menejemen SDM dan digitalisasi yang digunakan. Dengan demikian, pengabdian dilakukan dengan memberikan pengetahuan spesifik tentang pengelolaan yang optimal dan efektif dalam Bumdes. Kegiatan ini merupakan langkah awal dalam upaya optimalisasi SDM dan digitalisasi yang membutuhkan rangkaian kegiatan lanjutan untuk mendorong Bumdes di Kendal menjadi Bumdes berkembang (bintang 2). Village Owned Enterprises (Bumdes) as a village-owned business entity, aims to move the village economy so that it can realize community welfare. Government Regulation (PP) Number 11 of 2021 Article 1 mandates Bumdes to be able to develop village productivity and investment. However, many Villages Owned Enterprises (Bumdes) can’t develop well. One of them is that in Kendal district, Central Java, namely the Rizki Amanah Bumdes, in the village of Tambahrejo, Pageruyung district, which is still classified as stub Bumdes (1 star). Moreover, Rizki Amanah Bumdes has several business units such as electricity and water payments, grocery stores, badminton court rentals, and savings and loan cooperatives. The primary goal of this community empowerment activity is to scale up the Bumdes located in Kendal. The method used in this community empowerment activity is Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) which focused on inventorying assets belonging to the societies. From those activities, found some problems in developing Rizki Amanah Bumdes, which are the non-well-managed human resources and poor digitalization in promoting the Bumdes. Therefore, these activities are managed to give them some specific knowledge in empowering available resources and optimizing effective management. This is just the first step that needs more continued activities to support the Village Owned Enterprises (Bumdes) to encourage Bumdes to become a developing Bumdes (2 stars).

Abstract

Adolescence usually begins with an interest in the type of behavior that indicates courtship behavior. The number of negative impacts caused by deed behavior as an act that must be avoided because it approaches adultery. As a solution so that teenagers avoid the tendency of dating behavior, it is necessary to build awareness through training. The Points of You card-assisted training can help a person in building his awareness which can contain cards that can bring out a person's deepest awareness so that it is considered to reduce the tendency of dating in teenagers. This service research was carried out at MAN 1 Enrekang. The number of participants involved in this service research was 42 students. Data collection used a self-introduction scale that was prepared by the researcher himself. The results showed that there was an average difference between scores before using the You card in reducing the tendency of dating in adolescents. The results of the NGain Score calculation show that self-introduction training using the Points of You card is in the category that is quite effective in reducing the tendency of dating in adolescents. Masa remaja biasanya diawali dengan adanya ketertarikan dengan lawan jenis yang berpotensi perilaku pacaran. Banyaknya dampak negatif yang diakibatkan oleh perilaku pacaran menjadikannya sebagai perbuatan yang harus dihindari karena mendekati zina. Sebagai solusi agar remaja terhindar dari kecenderungan perilaku pacaran, maka diperlukan membangun kesadaran melalui pelatihan. Pelatihan berbantu kartu Points of You dapat membantu seseorang dalam membangun kesadarannya karena berisi kartu-kartu yang dapat menggali kesadaran terdalam seseorang sehingga dianggap dapat mengurangi kecenderungan pacaran pada remaja. Penelitian pengabdian ini dilaksanakan di MAN 1 Enrekang. Jumlah partisipan yang terlibat dalam penelitian pengabdian ini sebanyak 42 peserta didik. Pengumpulan data menggunakan skala pengenalan diri yang disusun sendiri oleh peneliti. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan rata-rata antara skor sebelum dengan sesudah penggunaan kartu of You dalam mengurangi kecenderungan pacaran pada remaja. Hasil perhitungan NGain Score menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan pengenalan diri menggunakan kartu Points of You berada pada kategori cukup efektif dalam mengurangi kecenderungan pacaran pada remaja.

Abstract

The spread of the Covid-19 virus requires human interaction to be mediated by information and communication technology, including education. Educators must adapt to this change to become role models quickly. However, not all educators can use technology in online learning. For educators in the village who had never used information and communication technology for education, this adaptation process needed guidance in the acceleration, as a necessity of educators with ICT mastery capabilities in the information age and amid the pandemic situation. It takes a mentoring program for educators to improve their ability and competence on digital technology for learning management both luring and online. This program is intended for educators in MI Al-Hikmah Source of Simo Boyolali through a participatory approach. The training began by doing a pretest and continued FGD to map the potential and problems faced by the teacher. Based on the pretest and FGD,  we decided to conduct digital literacy training to improve educator competencies in managing online learning and luring. Penyebaran virus Covid-19 mengharuskan interaksi manusia termediasi oleh teknologi informasi dan komunikasi termasuk dalam bidang pendidikan. Pendidik dituntut untuk beradaptasi dengan cepat terhadap perubahan ini agar tetap mampu menjadi role model. Namun demikian belum semua pendidik mampu memanfaatkan teknologi dalam pembelajaran daring. Bagi pendidik yang berada di desa yang sebelumnya tidak pernah menggunakan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi untuk pembelajaran, bimbingan dalam percepatan proses adaptasi ini perlu dilakukan. Sebagai sebuah keniscayaan pendidik dengan kemampuan penguasaan TIK di era informasi dan ditengah situasi pandemic.  Dibutuhkan program pendampingan bagi pendidik untuk meningkatkan kemampuan dan kompetensi pendidik terhadap pemanfaatan teknologi digital untuk pengelolaan pembelajaran baik luring maupun daring. Program ini ditujukan untuk pendidik di MI Al Hikmah Sumber Simo Boyolali melalui pendekatan partisipatoris. Pelatihan dimulai dengan melakukan pretes dan dilanjutkan FGD untuk memetakan potensi dan masalah yang dihadapai guru. Abstract

This service aims to increase women's awareness and capacity in managing the function of an economy-based mosque through Zakat, Infak, Shodaqoh, and Waqf (Ziswaf) funds. This departs from the fact in the community around the assisted mosque that in every majlis of women-based religious activities there is an economic sector that is built and developed with a savings and loan cooperative system. especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, the community's need for social institutions like this is very high, this can be seen from the number of borrowers at one of the women's ta'lim majlis which has increased sharply. Therefore, it is important to help increase their role and capacity, in the process of social change and improving people's welfare. Thus, institutionally mosques and mosque congregations as a community of the nation-state can contribute optimally in the national development process. The ability to master mosque empowerment strategies by developing zakat, infaq, shadaqah, and waqaf (ZISWAF) instruments is important to be mastered by mosque welfare officials and women driving economic activity in majlis ta'lim. The method applied in this program is Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) which prioritizes critical dialogue using object/community-based disclosure, to obtain a real perspective in the minds of the target object and at the same time fulfil the paradigmatic alignment as mentioned above. The approach taken in this program is a social entrepreneurship approach, which combines increasing the value of resources economically and streamlining social goals and missions. This approach aims to improve social aspects, as well as implement strategies that are integrated between social and economic aspects.

Abstract

Finance is one of the resources that directly support the effectiveness and efficiency of Islamic boarding school education management. The independence of Islamic boarding schools is also one of the priority programs of the Ministry of Religious Affairs in 2021. This can be achieved by improving the quality of management/management of Islamic boarding schools, especially professional, effective, efficient, transparent, and accountable financial management. Financial Management Training for Santri towards independence of Islamic Boarding Schools using Participatory Action Research (PAR). That is, all stakeholders actively review current actions to make changes and improvements for the better. The results of community service that have been carried out are that the stages of Islamic boarding school financial management are planning (budgeting), implementation (Accounting), and evaluation (Auditing). Boarding schools of Islamic boarding schools receive assistance in the preparation of the RKAPP (Islamic Boarding School Activity and Budget) or RAPBPP (Islamic Boarding School Revenue and Expenditure Budget Plan) in 2022. It is hoped that the financial management of Islamic Boarding Schools will be more transparent and accountable. The author's suggestion is that it is necessary to improve the RKAPP and evaluation of financial management this year as a reference for the preparation of the RKAPP in the following year. Keuangan/Financial menjadi salah satu sumber daya yang secara langsung mendukung efektifitas dan efisiensi pengelolaan pendidikan pondok pesantren. Kemandirian Pondok pesantren juga menjadi salah satu program prioritas Kementerian Agama tahun 2021. Hal ini dapat dicapai dengan peningkatan kualitas manajemen/pengelolaan pesantren khususnya pengelolaan keuangan yang profesional, efektif, efisien, transparan dan akuntabel. Pelatihan Manajemen Keuangan bagi Santri menuju kemandirian Pondok Pesantren menggunakan Participatory Action Research (PAR). Artinya, semua pihak yang berkepentingan (stakeholders) secara aktif meninjau tindakan saat ini untuk membuat perubahan dan perbaikan ke arah yang lebih baik. Hasil pengabdian masyarakat yang telah dilaksanakan adalah beberapa tahapan manajemen keuangan pondok pesantren yang harus dilaksanakan yakni perencanaan (budgeting), pelaksanaan (Akunting) dan evaluasi (Auditing). Pengurus pondok pesantren mendapat pendampingan penyusunan RKAPP (Rencana Kegiatan dan Anggaran Pondok Pesantren) atau RAPBPP (Rencana Anggaran Penerimaan dan Belanja Pondok Pesantren) tahun 2022. Harapannya pengelolaan keuangan Pondok Pesantren semakin transparan dan akuntabel. Saran penulis, perlu penyempurnaan mengenai RKAPP dan evaluasi pengelolaan keuangan di tahun ini sebagai acuan penyusunan RKAPP di tahun berikutnya.

Abstract

One of the food-product halalness indicator is the absence of alcohol. In this case, traders as business actors must know about the contamination of khamr and alcohol in food ingredients that are traded so as not to endanger themselves and consumersas a condition when applying for halal certification. Because the content of khamr and alcohol besides endangering health, the Qur'an also clearly forbids them.Therefore this community service aims to increase the knowledge of shop owners around IAIN Surakarta regarding the contamination of khamr and alcohol in food as an effort to prepare for halal certification. This activity is carried out using the socialization method, namely by giving lectures and questions and answers to 10 food stall owners. Activity evaluation is carried out by providing a pre-test and post-test on the topic presented. From this community service activity, there was an increase in knowledge which could be seen from the pre-test and post-test scores, which were respectively 36 and 86. Specifically, the increase in knowledge about the definition of alcohol and khamr was 50%, the rules of the beverage trade. alcohol in Indonesia is 50%, types of alcoholic drinks are 60%, and the law of alcohol and khamr in Islam is 30%.

Abstract

These community service activities were held on March 14-31, 2021, which were attended by 20 participants who joined the tahfidz program under the auspices of Al-Islam, Kemuhammadiyahan, dan Bahasa Arab (ISMUBA) and several students of Ikatan Pelajar Muhammadiyah (IPM) Muhammadiyah 1 Palembang High School. This training is carried out based on the needs of partners related to the evaluation of the implementation of the tahfidz program, namely the lack of attention of students to the quality Quran readings in memorized letters. To get maximum results, this training is done by participatory methods with service learning models. This training activity runs well and smoothly by the stages arranged in the schedule of implementation of activities. This is evident from the achievement of the training objectives and the enthusiasm and activeness of participants in training activities. The results achieved through this training are very significant towards increasing the knowledge and skills of participants in reading the Quran by tajwid rules, as well as increased motivation in memorizing the Quran by paying attention to the quality of Quran readings. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 14-31 Maret 2021, yang diikuti oleh 20 peserta yang tergabung dalam program tahfidz di bawah naungan Bidang Al-Islam, Kemuhammadiyahan, dan Bahasa Arab (ISMUBA) dan beberapa siswa Pengurus Ikatan Pelajar Muhammadiyah (IPM) SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Palembang. Pelatihan ini dilakasanakan atas dasar kebutuhan mitra terkait dengan evaluasi pelaksanaan program tahfidz, yaitu kurangnya perhatian siswa terhadap kualitas bacaan Al-Quran pada surat-surat yang telah dihafal. Untuk menadapatkan hasil yang maksimal, pelatihan ini dilakukan dengan metode partisipatoris dengan model service learning. Kegiatan pelatihan ini berjalan dengan baik dan lancar sesuai dengan tahapan-tahapan yang disusun dalam jadwal pelaksanaan kegiatan. Hal ini terlihat dari ketercapaian terhadap tujuan pelatihan dan antusiasme serta keaktifan peserta dalam kegiatan pelatihan. Hasil yang dicapai melalui pelatihan ini sangat signifikan terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta dalam membaca Al-Quran sesuai dengan kaidah-kaidah tajwid, serta peningkatan motivasi dalam menghafal Al-Quran dengan memperhatikan kualitas bacaan Al-Quran.

Abstract

Efforts to improve the quality of community service are essential. Apart from the fact that community service is part of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, it is also one of the measures for Higher Education regarding its existence in the community. Efforts to improve the quality of community service are now being pursued by the Center for Community Service (PkM) UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung, among others, through the "House of Service" pilot. In the "House of Service," the In Tray-Training of the servants is organized. The purpose of this discussion is to find out how the In-Tray Training activities are related to efforts to improve the quality of service. This discussion also uses the In-Tray Training method. The results show several improvements, among others: First, it offers an increase in the enthusiasm for service among the academic community of UIN Bandung. Second, the service house is a vehicle for meeting the service activist lecturers to hold in-tray training to exchange thoughts, ideas, methodologies, and service experiences and synergize various programs and steps of UIN SGD Bandung servants. To encourage servants in multiple faculties and study programs to synergize more, collaborate, complement each other, and give birth to innovation and form a distinction of different models and methods of service of UIN Bandung. Third, various community service activities carried out by the academic community of UIN SGD Bandung have also been successfully documented in an archived and publicized UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung Community Service Profile book. Upaya peningkatan mutu pengabdian merupakan sesuatu yang penting. Selain karena Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat merupakan bagian dari Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi, ia juga menjadi salah satu ukuran bagi Perguruan Tinggi mengenai eksistensinya di tengah masyarakat. Upaya peningkatan mutu pengabdian itu, kini diupayakan oleh Pusat Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung, antara lain melalui rintisan “Rumah Pengabdian”. Pada “Rumah Pengabdian” tersebut diselenggarakan In Tray-Training para pengabdi. Tujuan dari pembahasan ini, adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana kegiatan In-Tray Training tersebut kaitannya dengan upaya peningkatan mutu pengabdian. Pembahasan ini juga menggunakan metode In-Tray Training. Hasilnya menunjukkan adanya beberapa peningkatan, antara lain: Pertama, Menampakkan peningkatan kegairahan mengabdi dikalangan para civitas akademika UIN Bandung. Kedua, keberadaan rumah pengabdian sebagai wahana bertemunya para dosen pegiat pengabdian melangsungkan in-tray training untuk saling bertukar pikiran, gagasan, metodologi, pengalaman pengabdian serta mensinergikan berbagai program dan gerak langkah para pengabdi UIN SGD Bandung. Sehingga mendorong para pengabdi di berbagai fakultas dan prodi lebih bersinergi, bisa berkolaborasi, saling mengisi dan melahirkan inovasi dan membentuk distingsi ragam model dan metode pengabdian UIN Bandung. Abstract

Pants convection is a home business from cloth in the village of Sukosono, Jepara. The community of mothers and teenagers are interested in entrepreneurship and work in the convection sector because they tend to be more flexible and can be done at home. A large number of workers and the production of the pants convection are not matched by management, product innovation, and marketing strategies. This resulted in a buildup of products, but reduced market demand. This service program aims to assist business management, as well as increase the creativity of workers in creating innovations, branding, and marketing methods so that confectionery products can compete in the market. Partners in this service are pants convection entrepreneurs in the village of Sukosono, Jepara. The method of this community service was Asset Based Community Development (ABCD), starting from the step of discovery, design, dream, define through a survey on the community. Then the step destiny through training, assistance with product brand design and marketing, then step reflection through monitoring and evaluation. The results of this assistance show that the community has an awareness of the importance of product innovation, branding, and improving the marketing system. In the product aspect, this assistance resulted in innovative pants made of woven materials, product brand logos with the name of clothing houses, and marketing through marketplaces.
