Jurnal Tematik merupakan media komunikasi para akademisi, guru dan pemerhati dunia pendidikan dalam perspektif kependidikan. Jurnal tematik merupakan hasil penelitian, refleksi dan kajian kritis yang aktual berkenaan dengan tema-tema pendidikan, seperti kebijakan atau regulasi pendidikan, kurikulum, inovasi pembelajaran (kajian materi, pendekatan, model, metode, media dan evaluasi belajar) dalam ruang lingkup pendidikan dasar. Terbit tiga kali dalam setahun yakni April, Agustus dan Desember. Terbit pertama kali untuk edisi April 2012. Jurnal Tematik adalah jurnal berkala ilmiah berisi tulisan yang diangkat dari hasil penelitian pendidikan dasar pada fokus aspek-aspek yang berkaitan dengan kependidikan. Jurnal tematik merupakan jurnal nasional bermitra bestari yang diterbitkan tiga kali setahun dalam bentuk cetak dan online oleh Program Studi Pendidikan Dasar Pascasarjana, Universitas Negeri Medan, Indonesia. Pernyataan ini menjelaskan perilaku etis seluruh pihak yang terlibat dalam penerbitan artikel dalam Jurnal Tematik, termasuk penulis, dewan penyunting, mitra bestari, dan penerbit. Abstract

This study indicates that a mother's employment status (working or not working) has a distinct impact on child development. Children of working mothers tend to exhibit better cognitive development, particularly in problem-solving and critical thinking skills, likely due to more structured stimulation and utilization of external resources. On the other hand, children of non-working mothers tend to have stronger emotional bonds with their mothers, better social adaptability, and higher self-confidence, resulting from more intensive maternal presence at home. Although there are no significant differences in overall behavior, children of working mothers tend to be more independent and responsible, while children of non-working mothers tend to be more compliant.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a valid and effective video-based learning media using Sparkol Videoscribe for teaching the Solar System topic in the sixth-grade science curriculum at SD Negeri 1 Lawak. The research employed a 4D development model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). Data were collected using expert validation sheets, student response questionnaires, and student activity observation forms. The validation results showed that the developed media was highly valid, with media expert validation scoring 96%, design expert validation scoring 96%, and content expert validation scoring 96.5%. Furthermore, the student response instrument achieved a score of 94.5%, and the student activity instrument scored 95.5%. The media was also considered effective based on students’ active engagement and positive feedback during the learning process. Therefore, Sparkol Videoscribe-based learning media is deemed appropriate as an alternative instructional tool in science learning, particularly for abstract topics such as the Solar System.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of the character dimension of mutual cooperation on the theme of a sustainable lifestyle for students of MI Muhammadiyah 09 Karangwungulor. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The subjects in this study were all teachers and students of MI Muhammadiyah 09 Karangwungulor. Using data collection techniques, namely observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The data analysis techniques used are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. This study uses data validity, namely source triangulation and technique triangulation. This study aims to determine how the implementation of the character dimension of mutual cooperation on the theme of a sustainable lifestyle for students of MI Muhammadiyah 09 Karangwungulor. The results of this study are that the implementation of the character of the mutual cooperation dimension on the theme of sustainable lifestyle of students of MI Muhammadiyah 09 Karangwungulor is as follows: 1) The mutual cooperation dimension has three aspects, namely the collaboration aspect, the caring aspect and the sharing aspect. The collaboration aspect at MI Muhammadiyah 09 Karangwungulor has often been seen in students. The caring aspect has also been seen and the sharing aspect is less seen in students. 2) there are three supporting factors for students to have an interest in cooperation in group work, students have implemented a sustainable lifestyle such as processing used goods into crafts. the compactness of the guardians of students in supporting student activities at school. 3) there are two obstacles, the limited number of students and there are some students who are not good at interacting.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low involvement of students in learning and the lack of innovative methods that facilitate the exploration of ideas and creativity of students. This study aims to determine the activities of teachers and students and to determine the increase in understanding of global diversity of grade V students in learning Pancasila education using the mind mapping method. This research is a Classroom Action Research (PTK) which was carried out in two cycles, with research subjects as many as 9 students. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, tests (pretest and posttest), and documentation studies. The results showed an increase in teacher and student activities during the learning process, as well as an increase in student learning outcomes in each cycle. In cycle I, learning completeness reached 67% and increased in cycle II to reach the specified success indicator. Thus, the application of mind mapping method can be used as an alternative learning strategy in strengthening the values of global diversity.
