Abstract

This study aims to analyze whether there is an effect of using the book of Durus al-Lugah al-'Arabiyyah 'ala al-Tariqah al-Hadisah on language skills. It investigated the students in the first grade at Darul Huffadh Tuju-tuju Islamic Boarding School Kajuara Bone. This study was a quantitative research with an Expost Facto approach by collecting and simplifying the data collected using the SPSS application in processing the data. There were two variables in this study, namely the use of the Durus al-Lugah book as a variable (X) and language skills as a variable (Y). While the population in this study was 299 students of KMI in the first grade and the sample was 20% of the population, namely 60 students. The data collection method used questionnaires, tests, documentation and observation. The data analysis used descriptive and inferential statistical analysis. The study results indicate that (1) The use of the Durus al-Lugah al-'Arabiyyah 'alaal-T}ariqah al-Hadisah book in the first grade at Darul Huffadh Tuju-tuju Islamic Boarding School Kajuara Bone is quite significant with a percentage of 65%. (2) Arabic language skills of The first grade students at Darul Huffadh Tuju-tuju Islamic Boarding School Kajuara Bone were quite good, with a percentage of 55%. (3) There was an effect of Variable X on Y in this study. The value of the variable hypothesis test, such as the value of t count, is 6.573, and the value of sig is 0.000. Thus T count is 6.573 > T table 2.00, and Sig 0.00 <0.05 = H1 is accepted. It meant that there was a positive influence and the significance of Durus al-Lugah al-'Arabiyyah 'ala al-Tariqah al-Hadisah on the Language Skills of the first grade KMI students at Darul Huffadh Tuju-tuju Islamic Boarding School Kajuara Bone. If there was no variable Durus al-Lugah al-'Arabiyyah 'ala al-Tariqah al-Hadisah then the students' language skills were -0.945. Then, the value of b (Variable X/Durus al-Lugah al-'Arabiyyah 'ala al-Tariqah al-Hadisah) was 0.266. It indicated that with every 1% addition in the learning effectiveness of using Durus al-Lugah al-'Arabiyyah 'alaal-Tariqah al-Hadisah book, the students' Arabic skills would increase by 0.266 with a percentage value of 42.7%. It means that variable X affects Variable Y. Based on the results of this study, it is hoped that PPDH (Islamic Boarding School Darul Huffadh) will maintain the use of the Durus al-Lugah al-'Arabiyyah 'ala al-T}ariqah al-Hadisah book because it is a structured and systematic book on its theme. It is very suitable for beginners who are new to Arabic and are required to be able to master Arabic as a daily language. It will be optimal if the teachers practice reasonable teaching procedures and use every medium to help the students discover the book's contents and assist the teacher in delivering the material.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of authentic assessment in Akidah Akhlak subject. Sub problem, i.e., 1). How is the authentic assessment process on the 5th grade of Akidah Akhlak subject at MIS Makkaraeng Maros? 2). How are the authentic assessment results on the 5th grade of Akidah Akhlak subject at MIS Makkaraeng Maros?? This type of research is descriptive qualitative research—the data collection is from two primary and secondary sources. The research method used interviews, observation, and documentation, while the data analysis techniques consisted of data reduction, presentation, and verification. The data validity technique is in the form of a triangulation technique. The results showed: (1) The implementation of authentic research in the Akidah Akhlak subject at MIS Makkaraeng Maros went well in the authentic assessment process, which prepared the assessment plan, carried out the assessment, and then carried out the assessment process. (2) The results of the authentic assessment have been carried out in three domains, namely knowledge competence (cognitive), attitude competence (affective), and skill competence (psychomotor). All forms of assessment on the cognitive aspect were already to the maximum. At the same time, we carried out the affective and psychomotor aspects, although only on the primary assessment technique. In contrast, supporting assessments, such as self-assessment, peer-to-peer assessment, portfolio assessment, and project assessment, have not been used by the teachers of Akidah Akhlak subject in the 5th grade at MIS Makkaraeng Maros. In conclusion, the Akidah Akhlak teacher has carried out value from the authentic assessment process with different steps in terms of attitudes, knowledge, and skills. This research implies that authentic assessment requires teachers to broaden their horizons and increase their knowledge to carry out authentic assessments with various assessment forms and many students.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of character building of students through the school literacy movement at SMP Negeri 1 Sengkang, Wajo Regency. This research is classified as qualitative research with historical, phenomenological, pedagogical, sociological, and psychological approaches. Researchers conducted interviews with teachers, education staff, resource persons, and students at SMP Negeri 1 Sengkang, Wajo Regency, to obtain data in the field. In addition, direct observations are also made on the material and stages of implementing activities. The data obtained from interviews and direct observations were analyzed by qualitative methods to determine the implementation, supporting and inhibiting factors, and efforts to overcome the inhibiting factors. The results showed that the formation of student character through the school literacy movement at SMP Negeri 1 Sengkang, Wajo Regency, was carried out integrally in implementing 15-minute habituation to reading. They responded to reading content through book reading journals, optimizing literacy facilities and a text-rich environment, and selecting reading books. The formation of his character is seen in the habituation of 15 minutes of reading. The optimization of literacy means a text-rich environment that gives birth to a character of curiosity and love to read, responding to the content of readings through book reading journals, and the selection of reading books that give birth to honest characters. The supporting factors are the positive response and good cooperation from school stakeholders, optimization of library services, and the role of parents/guardians through the collaboration of school committees.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Arabic language learning on the motivation to memorize the Qur'an students of the Imam Asy-Syathiby Islamic Boarding School, Gowa Regency. This type of research is field research, Ex-post facto, located at the Imam Asy-Syathiby Islamic Boarding School, Gowa Regency. The approach used in this study is the positivism approach. The population in this study covered high school students at the Imam Asy-Syathiby Islamic Boarding School, Gowa Regency, which amounted to 90 students, the sample in this study was 73. The data collection methods are observation, questionnaire, interview, and documentation, while the instruments used are observation guidelines, questionnaire grains, interview guidelines and documentation. Data processing and analysis techniques use descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistics. The results showed that Arabic language learning at the Imam Asy-Syathiby Islamic Boarding School, Gowa Regency was relatively good. Based on the data analysis results from 73 respondents, there were five respondents with a very high classification, with a percentage of 6.8%, and 68 respondents with a high classification, with a percentage of 93.2%. The students' motivation for memorizing the Qur'an at Pondok Pesantren Imam As-Syathiby Kabupaten Gowa is relatively high. Based on the data analysis results from 73 respondents, there are 12 respondents with a very high classification, 16.4%, and 61 with a high classification, 83.6%. Based on the analysis results, learning Arabic affected the motivation to memorize the Qur'an for Pondok Pesantren Imam Asy-Syathiby, Gowa Regency students. That is shown from the analysis of the calculation of > of the table. From the calculation of 3,512 with a significance value of 0.001 <0.05, H0 is rejected, and Ha is accepted. With a termination coefficient of 14.8% rounded to 15%, the influence between variables in the low category, the remaining 85% is influenced by other variables that are not studied, including facilities and infrastructure, environmental factors, family, personality factors, intelligence levels and individual conditions.

Abstract

This study examines the learning outcomes of students in moral academia subjects using jigsaw and STAD-type cooperative learning models in MAN 1 Polewali Mandar. This research is a pseudo-experiment. The samples were class XI IPA 1 and class XI IPS 2, both given treatment (treatment). Class XI IPA 1 was given the treatment of the jigsaw-type cooperative learning model, and class XI social studies two was given the treatment of STAD type cooperative learning model. In data collection, researchers used tests, observations, and documentation. The data obtained were then processed using an independent test formula of the t-test sample, with the help of the SPSS version 25 application. The results of the study obtained in the two groups through descriptive statistical analysis, the average learning outcomes of akidah akhlak using the jigsaw type learning model were = 81.25. In contrast, the average learning outcomes of Akidah akhlak using the STAD-type cooperative learning model were = 79.60. The results of the data homogeneity analysis showed that the F-value = 1.343 ≤ Ftabel = 4.10 expressed the sample data as homogeneous. For the Hypothesis test, the t-test showed that what was obtained was calculated as 1.76 < table 1.991, this shows that H0 is accepted and H1 is rejected, so it can be concluded that there is no difference in learning outcomes in classes taught with the jigsaw-type and the STAD-type cooperative-learning model class XI science one and class XI IPS 2 in MAN 1 Polewali Mandar.

Abstract

This paper talks about how implementing human resource management improves the quality of lecturers at the University of Muhammadiyah Parepare. The research method used is descriptive research that is analyzed qualitatively. Data sources are obtained from leaders, bureau heads, deans, lecturers, and documentation. The results showed that: 1) the system and process of implementing human resources related to lecturers, carried out professionally and under applicable regulations and regulations; 2) the quality of lecturers in terms of distribution based on faculties and study programs has not been evenly distributed; 3) efforts to improve the quality of lecturers carried out include further study studies, integrated learning, research, scientific forums, scientific publications, communication forums, mastery of information technology programs, parent programs or internships, and other supporting activities; 4) supporting and inhibiting factors for improving the quality of lecturers in general, including leadership, individual motivation, limited budgeting, and lecturer welfare.

Abstract

The goal of this study was to provide an explanation for how moral akidah teachers at private MTs in Buol Regency were able to help pupils develop their character. The research method applied is qualitative research, the approach used is a psychological approach The informants of this research are the head of Madrasah, teacher of Akidah Akhlak, teacher of Al-Quran Hadith, and other general teachers. The data is collected through observation, interview, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. While testing the validity of the data is done by triangulation. The findings of this research indicated that although the Akidah Akhlak teachers at MTs Swasta Busak Buol Regency did an excellent job of developing their students' character, character development is still subpar and not at its best. The approach of habituation of everyday activities and spontaneous activities, example, and extracurricular activities used at MTs Swasta Busak Buol Regency to create student character Supporting elements at MTs Swasta Busak that help students develop their character include a dedication to the stringent enforcement of Madrasah laws and time management. Then, the limiting factor is made up of two elements: external ones, such teachers' lack of participation in activities, and internal ones, like the community's and the Madrasah's surroundings, particularly parents, who are not cooperating. The character development will have a major impact, if the Akidah akhlak teacher is prepared to develop students' character in a way that is appropriate for the subject matter. The second implication is that if the teacher of Akidah akhlak exercises management skills with regard to both classes and students as well as using various methods in accordance with the characteristics through character building, there will be an efficient process for fostering the character of students. The third implication will result in significant changes if madrasah leaders consistently carry out quality development activities for teachers, particularly Akidah Akhlak teachers, through coaching and training.

Abstract

This study describes the effect of microteaching learning to manage classes of international trainees of Tarbiyah and the Teacher Training Faculty. This quantitative type of research was conducted on 13 students with a non-probability sampling technique, namely a saturated sample, where all members of the population were sampled using a questionnaireand documentation checklist as a research instrument, to obtain data that was processed and analyzed by statistical techniques, both descriptive statistics, and inferential statistics. Through data analysis, it was concluded that the results of testing data on the effect of microteaching learning to manage classes of international trainees were indicated by a low category or a weak relationship of 0.275 and significant at 4.179 with a contribution percentage of 7.6. %, while the remaining 92.4% is influenced by other variables. The ability to manage classes of the international trainee can be applied well through microteaching learning according to existing theories, but because the results have a low/not strong effect, it is necessary to improve or look for other factors that can improve the teaching practice abilities of an international trainee.

Abstract

This paper discusses the relationship between Industry 4.0 and Islamic Perspectives. The fourth Industrial revolution is substantially the following stage in the digitization of the manufacturing sector. It provides a new approach of doing business and new sources of creating value. Industry 4.0 involves big data analytics. This will expose to information including sensitive or undisclosed information. As a syumul deen, Islam outlines the rules in shariah law and the purpose is described in Maqasid Shariah. The main purpose is to create the goodness and to prevent the harm. It includes five principles which are protecting deen, protecting life, protecting mind, protecting generation and protecting wealth. As an inventor or user of technology, these five aspects should be considered before making any resolution, so that the digital products and data-based services comply with the Islam guidelines.

Abstract

Among the factors that can improve the quality of one's faith is the knowledge that based on the correct epistemology. In this case, the information received by the mind is inseparable from the performance of the senses as the first perceiver capable of receiving sensations from sensory objects. By using the comparative descriptive analysis method, this paper aims to determine the concept of senses according to Ibn Sina in processing knowledge and its influence on faith. The discovery in this paper is that the concept of the senses is described by Ibn Sina as perfecting the function of reason in achieving knowledge with its performance in the form of a process of receiving sensory perceptions by external senses which are channeled to the internal senses so that humans can witness and contemplate the existence of God in achieving the truth that affects the quality of faith. In this case, it can be seen that Ibn Sina's concept of senses is different from the West which makes the senses the main source of knowledge without involving revelation.
