Abstract

Zakat has a strategic role in the Islamic economic system, not only as a religious obligation but also as an instrument of economic empowerment. This research was conducted to analyze the management of zakat by BAZNAS Pangkajene and Islands Regency, especially in empowering micro businesses as an effort to improve community welfare. The background of this research is the great potential of zakat in Indonesia, which is often not optimally utilized, especially in supporting micro businesses. This research uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews with key informants, including BAZNAS managers, mustahik, and muzakki, as well as document analysis. The data collection process involved direct observation, structured interviews and literature study. Analysis was conducted inductively to explore patterns, meanings, and relevant experiences. The results showed that the management of zakat in BAZNAS Pangkajene and Islands Regency was carried out in a structured manner through the stages of planning, organizing, directing, coordinating, and supervising. This approach allows zakat to be distributed effectively and on target. Findings also show that well-managed zakat can help mustahiks develop micro-enterprises, thus contributing to their transformation into muzaki. However, challenges in community education, coordination, and supervision still require attention. The implication of this research is the need for innovation in zakat management to maximize its impact on micro business empowerment. Data-driven approach, cross-sector synergy, and integrated training program can strengthen the role of zakat as an instrument of sustainable economic development. This research provides an important contribution to the development of a more strategic and effective zakat policy.

Abstract

Character education has become an important issue in the global education system, especially in the modern era characterized by rapid social, technological, and cultural changes. This study aims to explore the integration of moral values derived from the hadith of Prophet Muhammad in strengthening character education in the contemporary education system. A qualitative research method was used with a literature study approach and content analysis of hadiths related to character education, such as honesty, justice, empathy, responsibility, and humility. The results showed that hadith as the second source of Islamic teachings after the Qur'an, contains universal values that are relevant to forming noble individual characters. These values include honesty, compassion, justice, patience, and care for the environment, all of which can be integrated in the modern education curriculum. This research confirms that hadith-based character education is able to answer the challenges of moral degradation in the era of globalization, while offering practical solutions in building a young generation with integrity, social responsibility, and noble character. The implications of this research include the development of a hadith-based character education model, increasing the capacity of educators in teaching moral values, and collaboration between schools, families, and communities in strengthening character education. The integration of values from the hadith into the contemporary education system is a strategic step in creating a harmonious, just and civilized society.

Abstract

This study examines gender education in the perspective of hadith as an effort to develop equality in formal education. The study aims to analyze the understanding of the concept of gender in hadith and its implications for formal education in Indonesia. Using a qualitative method with a content analysis approach, the study explores hadith-reports on gender, including the creation of women, conjugal responsibilities, women’s leadership, and partnership between men and women. The results show that the traditions provide an understanding that men and women are equal, albeit with different roles and responsibilities. The main obstacles in gender-related formal education are gender bias in learning materials and stereotyping of gender roles in the school environment. Islamic education plays an important role in removing these biases through contextualized and fair interpretation of hadith. In conclusion, the integration of moral values and gender education in the formal education system can create a more just and harmonious society. The implication is that collaboration between educators, policymakers and communities is needed to ensure gender equality in formal education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji representasi kambing dalam perspektif Al-Qur’an melalui analisis tafsir QS al-An‘ām/6:143. Permasalahan utama yang diangkat adalah bagaimana pemaknaan lafadz ma‘iz (kambing) dalam ayat tersebut serta relevansinya dengan konteks sosial, teologis, dan ekologis. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan tafsir tahlili dengan metode analisis mendalam terhadap mufradāt, munāsabah, asbāb al-nuzūl, serta pandangan ulama klasik dan kontemporer seperti al-Qurṭubī, ath-Thabari, al-Munīr, dan al-Mishbah. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa penyebutan kambing bukan sekadar penjelasan hukum halal-haram, tetapi juga membongkar praktik penyimpangan kaum musyrik yang menetapkan hukum berdasarkan hawa nafsu. Penulis berargumen bahwa ayat ini menegaskan otoritas hukum hanya milik Allah semata, serta mengajarkan kesadaran akan nikmat dan tanggung jawab ekologis terhadap ciptaan-Nya. Kesimpulannya, kambing dalam ayat ini menjadi simbol penting dalam narasi Al-Qur’an mengenai pemurnian akidah, penyadaran sosial, dan tanggung jawab manusia terhadap lingkungan. Kajian ini turut memperkaya khazanah tafsir tematik berbasis fauna dan membuka ruang pembahasan lebih luas tentang relasi manusia dan hewan dalam pandangan Islam.

Abstract

Meningkatnya angka cerai gugat yang diajukan perempuan di Indonesia menunjukkan adanya dinamika sosial sekaligus problem perlindungan hukum dalam praktik peradilan agama. Meskipun berbagai regulasi telah mengatur hak-hak perempuan pasca perceraian, implementasinya di lapangan masih sering mengalami kendala. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi perlindungan hukum terhadap hak-hak perempuan dalam perkara cerai gugat di Pengadilan Agama Makassar Kelas 1A. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode yuridis normatif dan yuridis empiris. Data diperoleh melalui studi dokumen, wawancara mendalam, dan observasi lapangan, serta dianalisis menggunakan model interaktif Miles & Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlindungan hukum terhadap hak-hak perempuan pasca perceraian telah diatur dalam berbagai peraturan, antara lain Undang-Undang Nomor 1 Tahun 1974, Kompilasi Hukum Islam (KHI), Surat Edaran Mahkamah Agung (SEMA) Nomor 3 Tahun 2018, dan Peraturan Mahkamah Agung (PERMA) Nomor 3 Tahun 2017. Pengadilan Agama Makassar Kelas 1A menerapkan strategi perlindungan melalui mekanisme penahanan akta cerai dan pemberian hak-hak seperti nafkah iddah, mut’ah, nafkah madliyah, mahar, dan hadanah. Putusan-putusan pengadilan, seperti perkara Nomor 1655/Pdt.G/2024/PA.Mks dan 760/Pdt.G/2023/PA.Mks, mencerminkan komitmen yudisial dalam menjamin pemenuhan hak-hak perempuan. Namun demikian, implementasi perlindungan hukum dihadapkan pada berbagai kendala struktural dan kultural, seperti rendahnya pemahaman hukum, minimnya penggunaan mekanisme eksekusi, serta keterbatasan akses terhadap bantuan hukum. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa perlindungan hukum belum sepenuhnya efektif dalam menjamin keadilan substantif bagi perempuan pasca perceraian. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan upaya penguatan literasi hukum, sosialisasi regulasi, dan pemberdayaan perempuan melalui sinergi antara lembaga peradilan, akademisi, dan masyarakat sipil.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas perspektif Al-Qur’an mengenai kecerdasan manusia. Setiap disiplin keilmuan memiliki definisi dan pengklasifikasiannya tersendiri terkait konsep kecerdasan, demikian pula Al-Qur’an memberikan penjelasan yang khas dalam memaknai potensi tersebut. Fokus penelitian ini adalah menguraikan hakikat kecerdasan, perspektif dari berbagai bidang keilmuan, serta relevansi konsep tersebut dalam konteks kekinian. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian kepustakaan (library research), melalui pendekatan tafsir, filsafat Barat, filsafat Timur, dan neurosains. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kecerdasan merupakan anugerah yang sekaligus memerlukan usaha untuk dikembangkan. Dalam kajian psikologi dikenal antara lain kecerdasan intelektual (IQ), kecerdasan emosional (EQ), dan kecerdasan spiritual (SQ). Sementara itu, Al-Qur’an menyebut beberapa istilah yang terkait dengan dimensi kecerdasan manusia seperti al-ʿaql, al-fu’ād, al-qalb, al-hilm, al-lubb, dan al-fiqh, yang masing-masing memiliki fungsi dan kedalaman makna berbeda. Temuan ini memberikan pemahaman bahwa kecerdasan merupakan potensi dasar manusia yang harus ditumbuhkan dan diarahkan guna menghadapi perkembangan zaman yang semakin maju dan kompleks

Abstract

This study explores the intersection between Qur’anic interpretation and the global sustainability agenda through the framework of Green Qur’anic Hermeneutics. By re-examining the revelation within the moral horizon of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), this research seeks to demonstrate that the Qur’an not only provides theological foundations for ecological ethics but also offers a comprehensive spiritual framework for environmental sustainability. Employing a qualitative and interpretive method, the study conducts a thematic analysis (tafsīr mawḍū’ī) on selected verses related to environmental balance (mīzān), corruption on earth (fasād fī al-arḍ), stewardship (khilāfah), and moderation (wasatiyyah). These concepts are contextualized within SDG pillars such as clean water, climate action, sustainable consumption, and life on land. The findings reveal that the Qur’anic ecological discourse anticipates modern sustainability paradigms by emphasizing moral restraint, accountability, and the unity of creation under divine order. Moreover, the integration of hermeneutical reflection and environmental ethics provides a new epistemological orientation for Islamic scholarship: from textual exegesis toward eco-ethical praxis. The study concludes that Green Qur’anic Hermeneutics contributes not only to the development of Islamic eco-theology but also to the global effort in realizing SDG principles through faith-based ecological awareness. This approach strengthens the dialogue between religion and environmental science, positioning the Qur’an as a living guide for sustainable civilization.
