Abstract

Abstract: Research is motivated by several phenomena, namely the lack ofsolidity between management, understanding between management and job description,coordination between OSIS coaches and student council officials, clarity andunderstanding of work programs by OSIS chairmen, and the academic andorganizational schedule arrangements that are not optimal. This study aims todetermine the effect of OSIS on the formation of the character of responsibility towardsthe student council students of SMPN 40 Pekanbaru. This research method isquantitative descriptive with data collection techniques namely questionnaire,observation, and documentation. The number of samples studied were 35 people. Basedon the OSIS variable questionnaire calculation with respondent data that answers theanswers very often added up with the answers frequently is 81.7%, which in the OSISvariable is included in the very good category. Next, the responsibility charactervariable at SMPN 40 Pekanbaru is included in good category. This is because theresults of the answers very often added up with the answers frequently amounting to71.3%. Furthermore, the results from the test of the significance of simple linearregression reveal that Fcount <Ftable, or 2,465 <4.14, thus Ho is accepted and Ha isrejected which means that the variable X has no effect on the variable Y. Therefore, thehypothesis in this study was not accepted.Key Words: OSIS, Character of Responsibility

Abstract

Abstract: The object of this research is to find the correlation between running speed 60 meters and the long jump result. In this research, the writer found that there are a significant correlation between running speed 60 meters and the long jump result. It was shown by the value of r is 0.897. It means that if the score of running speed is good, so, the score of the long jump will be good. Besides that, it means that there are a positive correlation between running speed 60 meters and the long jump result. This research use Correlation Pearson Product Moment as a method. The writer was taken the research at SMAN 11 Pekanbaru with the boy’s students of XI IPS 2 as the sample.Keywords: Correlation, Speed, Long Jump, Running, 60 meters

Abstract

Abstract : Research on the application of cooperative learning strategy word square has been done to know the improvement student’s achievement on the topic of compound’s chemical nomenclatur in class X MIA SMAN 4 Pekanbaru. This from of research is quasi-experiment research with randomized control group pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of two classes, namely class X MIA 4 as the experimental class and homogeneity test. Experiment class that ware subjected of cooperative learning strategy word square, while the control class is a class that untreated cooperative learning strategy word square . Based on the results obtained tvalue final calculation is 3,36 greater than ttable is 1,66. It can be concluded that the application of cooperative learning strategy word square to improve student’s achievement on the subject of compound’ chemical nomenclatur in class X MIA SMAN 4 PekanbaruKeyword: Cooperative Learning, Word Square, Learning Achievement, chemical nomenclatur

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe purpose of the study is to decribe the corelations of Internet usege as students’ learning device and motivation on social studies in the High School of Bina Bnangsa Pekanbaru. Samples were 53 students. Data was collected by using questionnaires, observation, and documentation; and data was analysed descriptively over the steps of scoring and tabulating, and then verified by formulation of product moment correlation. The independent variable was the internet utilization and motivation was variable Y. The results showed that the average student to respond frequently, meaning that students learn social studies demonstrate motivation when using the internet as a learning device. Through testing the correlation coefficient (r) is known that there is a relationship of 0521, and the coefficient of determination (r2) = 0.271 or 27.1%, meaning that the contribution of the use of internet learning resources to students' motivation is 27.1% while the rest is influenced by other factors. Testing the significance of correlation coefficient r can be seen from the calculation of t = 4607> table = 2.000. Based on the research result as described, it was suggested to the school principal to pay attention to the school internet facilities in order to support students’ learning activities as well as their motivation. Also suggested to teachers to be more focus on supervision over the usage of school internet facility..Keywords : Internet usage, Motivation, Social Sciences

Abstract

Abstract : The background of this research is the problem of independence of children aged 5-6 years in TK Negeri Pembina 3 Pekanbaru as there are children who have not been able to do toilet training independently, Still found a child who can not open the pants zipper, there are children who have not Can use “mukena” properly and still assisted by his teacher, still found a child who does not want to tidy up his toys after playing. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship of economic status of parents with the independence of children aged 5-6 years in TK Pembina 3 Pekanbaru. The method used in this research is quantitative research using correlation technique. The sample used in this study was 93 children. The data collection technique is done by observation sheet. Data analysis technique using scale test and statistic method analysis with SPSS For Windows Ver.22 program. Based on the result of the study of child self-reliance based on the economic status of the parents, 31 people are in high category (33.33%), 47 children with medium category (50.54%), and there were 15 children in the low category (16.13%). Based on hypothesis test results obtained there is a relationship of economic status of parents with independence of children aged 5-6 years in TK Negeri Pembina 3 Pekanbaru. This can be determined from the results of chi square test showing the significance of 0,000 <0.05.Keywords : Economic Status of Parents, Independence

Abstract

Abstract: This classroom action research is aimed to describe and to investigate whether Read, Examine, Decide, Write strategy can increase the ability of SMP Negeri 1 Gaung Anak Serka in reading comprehension ability. The participants were 30 students of the second year students SMP Negeri 1 Gaung Anak Serka. The data collection technique consisted of observation, field note, and tests. The research findings can be briefly explained as follows. First, the students reading ability could be improved by using Read, Examine, Decide, Write strategy. Before the research was done, the average score of the students reading ability was only 54.7. After the research one for cycle 1, it improved to 63.2. Cycle 2, it increased up to 70.2. Second, the students’ awareness in comprehending the texts. Read, Examine, Decide, Write strategy can improve students’ reading ability. Third, the teacher was able to apply Read, Examine, Decide, Write strategy to make the teaching process effective and it also helped students improve their reading comprehension ability and more active in learning process.Keywords: Strategy Read, Examine, Decide, Write, students improve treadingcomprehension ability. Abstract

Abstract: This research is a survey research about Competence of Pedagogic Students of Primary School Teacher Education Program University of Riau. The purpose of this research is to know and describe University of Riau of Riau University. This research was conducted in Teacher Education Program of Elementary School Faculty of Teacher Training and Education University of Riau on July 2017 until August 2017. The sample of this research is student of Generation 2014 with amount of 76 respondents. Data collection techniques used is a written test technique with the instrument of this study is an objective matter about teacher pedagogic competence with four alternative answers with the number 49 questions. The analysis technique used in this research is descriptive analysis technique. The results indicate that students' pedagogical competencies are included in the "Enough" category. This is evidenced by the acquisition: The average acquisition of pedagogical competence of students is 50.51 with the category "Enough". The number of students who scored in the interval 85-100 with the category of "Very Good" amounted to 0 students, at intervals of 70-84 with the category "Good" amounted to 1 student, at intervals of 50-69 with the category "Enough" amounted to 47 students, interval 0-49 with the category "Less" amounted to 28 students.Keywords: pedagogic competence

Abstract

ABSTRACT, Problems in this study originated from the observation that the author found in the field, it has not targeted the results of shooting on goal in the Football team SMAN 1 Bengkalis. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship leg muscle strength and coordination of the ankle with the results of shooting on goal in the Football team SMAN 1 Bengkalis. The population in this study is a Football team SMAN 1 Bengkalis, amounting to 18 people using the total engineering side where all the population sampled, to obtain research data used Leg Dynamometer tests, foot-eye coordination by catching throwing the ball to the wall with the foot and the shooting into the goal. Data were analyzed by simple and multiple product moment Based on the analysis of the data found that the results obtained from leg muscle strength have a relationship with the results of shooting on goal in the Football team SMAN 1 Bengkalis. leg muscle strength have a relationship with the results of shooting on goal in the Football team SMAN 1 Bengkalis with rhitung (0.480)> rtab (0.468), the results obtained from the foot eye coordination have a relationship with the results of shooting on goal in the Football team SMAN 1 Bengkalis with means , rhitung (0,548)> rtab (0.468). There is a relationship jointly between leg muscle strength and coordination ankle against the shooting on goal in the Football team SMAN 1 Bengkalis with rhitung (0.618)> rtab (0.468).Keywords : leg muscle power, eye-foot coordination, shooting, football

Abstract

Abstract: Based on observation, the development of children in kindergarten Pertiwi Teluk Kuantan found any constraints on fine motor activities that most children are still difficulties in fine motor activities, especially folding or origami. There are some children who are reluctant to perform fine motor activities there is also a crying study results should be given to children less optimal. Because of that learning that can improve fine motor skills anak.Penelitian aims to determine the effect of origami activities against the fine motor skills Children ages 5-6 year in the Gulf of TK Pertiwi Kuantan. Sampel used in this study 15 children. The data collection techniques used are observasi.Penelitian including quantitative and kualitatif. In quantitative research collected data were analyzed descriptively presentase. Hipotesis research is found influence signifikan terhadap fine motor skills of children after conducting this origami. Hal can diketahui daari analysis results average obtained that before action is taken at 28.89% after the action in the first cycle an average yield of 40.56% of the traffic system and after the action on the second cycle of the traffic system increased by 84.35%. So we can conclude that there are differences in the fine motor skills of children significantly after conducting origami. So, the means origami activities may increase the fine motor skills of children aged 5-6 years grouped B TK Pertiwi Singingi Kuantan District Kuantan bay.Keywords: Fine Motor Ability, Activity Origami

Abstract

Abstract : This research is a developmental research which aims to produce computer based learning media of an interactive tutorial model in main value topic for 7th grade of SMP/MTs that is valid and practical. This developmental research used development model based on the teory of Borg and Gall modified by Sugiono (2011). The stages are: (1) potential and problem; (2) literature collection; (3) product design; (4) product validation; (5) product revision; (6) product tested; (7) product revision; (8) product tested in large group; (9) product revision. Product design is through two stages, that are making paper based design and then used microsoft office power point program. The research instrument used a validation sheet that was validated by three experts or validators and participant response questionnaires assessed by students. Assessment of validation data and questionnaire responses of students is done by adapting the formula from Anas Sudijono (2011). The results of the validation of three experts or validators obtained an average score of 3.31 (very valid). The product testing on 6 students of class VII SMP PGRI Pelalawan with an average score of 3.83 (very practical). Furthermore, a trial of use or trial of a large group on 22 students of class VII SMP PGRI Pelalawan with an average score of 3.46 (very practical). Thus, it can be concluded that computer based learning media is valid and practical.Key Words : Computer based Interactive Learning Media, Development, Main Value
