Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by the low learning achievement of grade five science. Detailed criteria Minimum Value (KKM) IPA sets of 70. Among school students is 22, only 8 people (36.36%), which reached the KKM, while 14 (63.64%) who have not reached the KKM, with the average value average 63.86. This research is a classroom action research (CAR) by implementing cooperative learning model Think Pair Share (TPS). data collection instruments is the teacher, student activity sheets, and learning outcomes. Activities of teachers at the first meeting of the cycle I get a percentage of 58.33% enough category, at the second meeting of the first cycle increased with the percentage of 62.50% both categories., the first meeting of the second cycle of the teacher's activitie increase the percentage of 75.00% into either category and at the second meeting  increased again with a percentage of 95.83% is very good category. Student activities at the first meeting of the first cycle of obtaining a sufficient percentage of the category of 54.16%, in the second meeting of the first cycle increased percentage of 62.50% to the good category, at the first meeting of the second cycle increased with the percentage of 70.83% both categories. At the second meeting increased with the percentage of 95.83% is very good category. From the results of the study before action Average 63.86 increase to 67.72 in Cycle I. Abstract

Abstract: Problem of writing this essay is economic policy execution at a period leadership of Umar during ten years a period of its governance. Intention of this research that is knowing any kind of policy during a period of governance, how policy execution and what affect from the policy. Expected from writing of this essay can give benefit to writer and also to reader to add knowledge concerning Islam history specially history leadership of Umar bin Khattab. Method Research of this essay is used history method by using Heuristik stages;steps, verification, Historiografi and interpretation with data collecting use bibliography study technique. Result of from writing of this erudite masterpiece include;cover any kind of economic policy of Umar leader and how its execution for example including Policy between two fires Ramadah year, Monetary policy by printing first Islam dram money, Baitul mal independency and bookkeeping of state financial administration, management of natural resources and hisbah observation of market. From result of research can be concluded, that economic policy at a period of leadership of Umar bin Khattab caused of Umar wisdom and intellegence as leader with its ijtihad and conducted deliberation with friend. Abstract

ABSTRAKThe purpose of this research is to find out if there is significant motivational difference between accredited and unaccredited teachers who work in kindergarten in Kecamatan Marpoyan Damai Kota Pekanbaru. This is a comparative research writer limited the problem in this research based on accreditation. Writer used likert scale, and collect the data using questionaire. Population in this research is accredited and unaccredited kindergarten teachers in Kecamatan Marpoyan Damai Kota Pekanbaru. The total number is 187 teachers. To choose sample, writer used random sampling, means that writer choose the sample randomly, without lookin at the stratum. The total number is 65 teachers. Variables in this research are, X1: motivation of accredited teachers and X2: motivation of unaccredited teachers. Result shows that there is the difference. It can be seen from t hitung, which is bigger than t tabel (3.43>2.65).So Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Writer concluded that there is significant motivational difference between accredited and unaccredited kindergarten teachers in Kecamatan Marpoyan Damai Kota Pekanbaru.Keywork : work motivation

Abstract

Abstract: The aims of this research was to determine and amount of the misconception rate in X MIA class of Senior High School Negeri 8 Pekanbaru on chemical bonding. The research has been done in January-May 2017 by using descriptive method with simple random sampling to determined by Krejcie and Morgan formulas, the total of samples are 136 students. The instrument is a Three-Tier Diagnostic Test. Validating of instrument through content validity by material expert, construct validity using product moment correlation,and reliability using split half. Research result shown that the instrument was good and valid with instrument reliability value was 0,623, the percentage of students who had misconceptions 39,90% and including misconceptions medium category. Students, misconception that: (1) stability elements and octet rules misconceptions low category, (2 )drawing of Lewis symbol and structures misconceptions medium category, (3) ionic bonding and covalent bonding misconceptions medium category, (4) physical properties of ionic and covalent compounds misconceptions medium category,(5) metalic bonding misconceptions medium category, (6) polar and nonpolar covalent misconceptions medium category, (7) exclusion and failure octet rule misconceptions low category.Key Words : Misconception, Three tier diagnostic test, Chemical bonding

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to find the meaning and function of daroo and yone as the requests for confirmation in Japanese. The background to this research is the similarity between the two expressions. Data were analyzed using the theory of modality by Nitta. As the results, daroo which basically has the element of doubt as well as the meaning of a great possibility that cause requests for confirmation. As an expression of confirmation the two can replace each other depending on the degree of certainty by the speaker based on information on the proposition, interlocutor, and the situation. Daroo is difficult to replace with yone when used as a reminder. On the other hand, yone is difficult to replace with daroo when used as an affirmation of agreement or conformity with the interlocutor.Key Words: shuujoshi, modality, proposition

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe the science literacy of science textbooks for junior high school grade VII based on 4 dimensions, namely science as the body of knowledge, scienceas a way of thinking, science as a way of investigation and science and its interaction with technology and society and describe scientific literacy in practice questions the repetition on the seventh grade science book of SMP based on the 2015 PISA framework is competency and knowledge aspects. This research uses a qualitative approach with a content analysis method. The subject of this research is the science textbook class VII published by Erlangga Curriculum 2013. The research data obtained from the results of scientific literacy analysis of books using scientific literacy level analysis instruments based on 4 dimensions of scientific literacy and scientific literacy about repetition exercises using scientific literacy analysis sheet instruments based on 2 aspects of the PISA 2015 framework. Data analysis uses descriptive statistical methods. The results of data analysis showed that scientific literacy in the category of science as an investigation has the highest percentage with a score of 45.48%. The results of the scientific literacy analysis data in the multiple choice test questions show that the aspect of knowledge has a higher percentage than the competency aspect of 86.44% with very good criteria. Whereas the results of the retrial essay practice questions have a higher percentage of 61% with good criteria.KeyWords: Science Literacy, PISA 2015 Framework, Natural Science textbooks for Junior High School, Test questions on tests

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to improve student’s achievement on reduction oxidation reactions subject through an application of question card media in class X SMAN 10 Pekanbaru. The conducted research type is quasi experimental study using Design Randomized Control Group Pretest-Posttest. Sample of the research consisted of two classes, a class X1 as an experimental class (implemented question card media) and class X2 as the control class (without question card media). T-test was used as analysis technique. Based on the data analysis obtained t>ttable ie 2.21>1.66,meaning that the application of question card media can improve the student achievement on the subject reduction oxidation reaction in class X SMAN 10 Pekanbaru. The category improvement of student achievement in experiment class was medium category with a score gain normalized is 0,50.KeyWords: Question Card Media, learning Achievement, Reduction Oxidation Reaction

Abstract

Abstrack: This study aims to find out what aspects of change in Gondang Batak Toba tradision in the era of modernization in the village of Tanah Merah Subdistrict Siak Hulu and to know the factors that cause changers in the era of modernization Gondang tradition in the village of Tanah Merah Subdistrict Siak Hulu. As for who becomes the population in this research is the entire head of the Batak Toba language family are good christians or chatolikh. In the village of Tanah Merah totalling 1540 KK. A sample of these studies amounted to 30 KK the tecnique of data collection that is now, interview, observation, and documentation. Data analysis using Qualitative Descriptive. The result showed that the study data about shanges in Gondang Batak Toba tradition eraof modernization in te village of Tanah Merah Sub district Siak Hulu. Overall of the 30 respondents stated that many Yes. It is appropriate on the percentage of (61,67%) that aspects of the equipment in the tradition of Gondang Batak Toba have experienced changes in the era of modernization and the respondent who stated No (28,33%). The respondents starting Yes (19,2%) that the role of tradition Gondang Batak Toba native is still used in religious activities, ceremony of marriage, death, and for the party clan, and the respondents who stated No (80.8%). For the factors causes changes to the tradition of Gondang Batak Toba in the modernization of the respondents that answered Yes was (58,35%) and respondents who answered No was (41,65%). Thus it was concluded that a study about the change of the tradition of Gondang Batak Toba in the era of modernization in the village of Tanah Merah. Thus it was concluded that a study about the chenge of the tradition of Gondang Batak Toba in the era of modernization in the village of Tanah Merah Subdistricts Siak Hulu has undergone a change of modernization. This is in accordance with the benchmark. It is said to occur when the changers are at the range (51%-100%).Keywords: Change, Gondang Batak Toba, Tradition, Modernization.

Abstract

Abstract : Based on the fact that the reseacher observed in the field, that was still less of working motivation of kindergarten teacher and lack of discipline in carrying out their duties. It can be seen there were teachers still who are not disciplined in teaching, there were teachers still who often procrastinate her work, teachers leave early, teachers who still work with did not use time very well, if there was no class for teaching the teacher did not come to school. This occurred because of the assumption of the teachers that working as government officials did not have to work optimally because of salary amount has been determined in accordance with applicable government regulations. The existence of this view made there was no initiative or motivation of teachers in working. These conditions will affect the performance of teachers, because teachers lack the motivation to follow rules of school. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship working motivation Discipline of Kindergarten Teacher in Bukit Batu District, Bengkalis Regency. The population in this study was the entire kindergarten teachers in Bukit Batu district, Bengkalis Regency. There were 51 teachers from 10 kindergartens. The number of samples in this study was 51 teachers. While, in try out the researcher used 20 teachers from Bukit Raya Pekanbaru district. From the results of this research, it can be seen from Kolmogorov-Smirnov column that significant value in working motivation was (0,200) and discipline of teachers was (0,200), based on the results of the homogeneity test analysis, statistical values obtained at 0.698 and the probability value of 0,135, and the resulting coefficient of determination was r 2 = 0,451 and p = 0,000 (p <0,05), it can be seen that the effect of working motivation was 45,1% to discipline of teachers. From the analysis of simple correlation (r) obtained a correlation between working motivation with the level of teachers discipline (r) was 0,672 with a probability value was 0,000. Therefore the probability <0,05 (0,000 <0,05), then Ho was rejected. This suggests that there was a strong relationship between working motivation with discipline of teachers. The level of the relationship between the two variables were in a strong category was 67,2%.Key word: Working with the Disciplinary Teacher Motivation

Abstract

Abstrak : This research is intended to see the contribution of elasticity of wrist and hand-eye coordination with the result of free throw on male students basketball team of SMP Negeri 8 Pekanbaru.The purpouse of this research also to train student so they can do free throw with good method and maximal result. This research using experimental method with male stundent basketball team of SMP Negeri 8 Pekanbaru as the population, sample in this research is all population that contain 12 student. Instrument that has beed used in this research is eleasticity test of wirst, throw and cacth tennis ball, and free throe test, to measure shooting skill when doing free throw. After that, data counted with statistic, to examine normality with lilifors test on significant level of α (0,05). The Hypothesis of this research shows there is correlation and contrbution of elasticity of wrist and hand-eye coordinataion with free throw result. As the result of this research with statistic procedure, researcher finds conclution that is correlation about elasticity of wrist and hand-eye coordination with free throw result, with calculating result the contribution of elasticity of wrist with free throw skill is 81,00%, contribution of hand-eye coordination with free throw skill is 65,61% and contribution of elasticity of wrist and hand-eye coordination with free throw skill is 38,44%.Key word : wrist flexibility and hand-eye coordination, free throw
