Abstract

Integrating information and communication technology (ICT) in the learning process continues to evolve with various patterns and strategies, grouped into (1) e-Learning system, the process of learning that utilizes electronic devices and digital media, and (2) m- Learning, or mobile learning, the process of learning that utilizes mobile communication technology and devices. The rapid development of mobile devices, relatively easy operations, and more affordable prices, is a supporting factor in the widespread use of mobile learning to become a new alternative of learning media. These conditions encourage the formation of learning paradigm that can be done anytime and anywhere. The aim of the research is to develop the design/model of an Android-based Camcorder Simulator Application for the students of cinematography courses majoring education technology of education faculty in Semarang State University. This research method refers to the research and development (R&D) proposed by Borg and Gall (in Sukmadinata, 2016) with some modifications that have been developed by Sukmadinata. Withal, the research procedures used in this study focus on the development stages of application model/design. This step includes the following steps; (1) Model development (product design), (2) Design validation, and (3) Design revisions. The results of this study indicate that the process of developing an android-based camcorder simulator application model is done through the steps according to the research procedures, beginning with requirement analysis, then compiling competency map, material map, the main point of media content (GBIM), material descriptions (JM), flowchart and script, then design validation and product revision. Modeling camcoder simulator application is also ready for further stage of research and development. The use of an android-based camcorder simulator application is demanded in the learning process of cinematography course, especially the engineering material and the shooting procedure as it can assist students to be autonomous learners.

Abstract

This research aims to: 1) develop a virtual laboratory media as a supporter of the implementation of high school physics practicum; and 2) know the effectiveness of the use of virtual laboratories in high school physics learning. This research uses research and development (R & D) methods. The procedure for developing virtual laboratory media is carried out through: 1) field studies, literature studies, about the implementation of practicum in physics learning, interviews with teachers, monitoring of school equipment to support the implementation of physics practicum. 2) development: pre-production, production, and post-production, and 3) At this stage what is done is to study the effectiveness of the virtual laboratory media that have been developed on the level of student understanding through performance. The developed virtual laboratory media obtained a score of feasibility by material experts, media experts and students of 4.1 with good categories suitable for use in the learning process. The results of this study indicate: 1) There are significant differences in the pre-test and post-test scores in the experimental class with the sig value. 0,000. 2) There is a significant difference in the value of the post-test in the experimental class and the control class with a significance value of 0.039. Based on the results of the effectiveness test, it can be concluded that the use of laboratory media in high school physics teaching and learning activities significantly increases learning outcomes that can be used to increase the use of direct equipment

Abstract

Student learning outcomes are still low which have not been developed optimally in the learning process. Learning still emphasizes the cognitive realm while the affective and psychomotor domains of students are ruled out. The purpose of this study was to improve learning outcomes including the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains of fifth grade students at elementary school of Sukarajakulon IV. This research is a Class Action Research covering the steps: planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. Data collection techniques used were tests, observations, and documentation. Data were analyzed descriptively quantitative and qualitative. In the initial conditions students' mastery learning only reached 30%, the first cycle of student learning completeness increased to 75%, and the second cycle of student learning completeness reached 95%. The results of the study show that through Inquiry Model Based on Roaming Nature around can significantly improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research aimed to find out: how process of learning in class V SDIT Al-Hasna Klaten, How is the procedure of development learning multimedia subject of Islamic Education class V in SDIT Al-Hasna Klaten, How to effective development of learning multimedia teaching in subjects Islamic education class V in SDIT Al-Hasna Klaten. The method used method of Research and Development (research and development), process development using modification model ADDIE with Borg and gall development model. Stages of development in this study begins with (1) analyzing the needs needed in developing the Product, (2) designing prototypical product, (3) developing the product, (4) implementing the product in the field, and (5) evaluating product’s weaknesses. This reesearch used 15 samples in experimental group (five graders in A class) and 16 samples in control group (five graders in B class). Furthermore, in collecting the data, the researcher used questionnaire and achievement test as the instruments and it was analyzed using Descriptive statistic methods and t-test. The results showed that the media developed has met the worthy and qualified to be used as a learning media. It is seen from the results of expert validation of material with an average of 4.46 and has very good category. Validation of experts media with an average of 4.33 is very good category. According to the students, this multimedia is very good with an average of 4,30. In the test the learning effectiveness, it is known to the average point obtained by the experimental class is 94,66. The average point was higher than the control class 72,81.

Abstract

The evaluation of teachers’ performance is getting crucial to find out the degree of their professionalism. The education institution has to be able to figure out what factors may influence the teachers’ performance. The analysis result will be useful in developing their human resources in an optimum way which is very needed to promote the education’s quality. They need certain attention from the government and people. As the matter of fact above, the government has regulated the enhancement of educators’ quality or teachers in national perspective through the law No 20 in the year of 2003 about national education system. It is still done conventionally which has a big effect on their professionalism. This research has a purpose to set up an application of teacher performance evaluation in order to gain their performance and professionalism. It is used a method namely research and development consisting of 10 steps which are modified to result on teacher performance evaluation in line with teachers’ professionalism improvement.  The final result of development comes to the application teacher performance evaluation with computer based containing evaluation components such as; personality, pedagogy, professional, social and the overall score which enables to Improve teachers’ professionalism at the maximum point. The research result shows that the developed application has completed the feasibility requirements to be used as an application system of teacher performance evaluation process. It can be seen from the data of material expert with the average score of 4,4 as categorized very good. While the media expert validation shows the score of 4,5 with the category of very good.  According to the assessor shows that this teacher performance evaluation coming to score of 4,6 with the category of very good. At the effectiveness test, it shows that the average score of experiment class which is 82,9178 is higher compared with control class at the average score of 61, 26363.

Abstract

This research aims to find out: (1) correlation of logical mathematic intelligence and understanding of statistic concept, (2) correlation of motivation and  understanding of statistic concept, and (3) correlation of logical mathematic inteligence and motivation simultaneously with statistic concept understanding of Madrasah Aliyah students of Grobogan district in 2015/2016 academic year. This research was correlational research, which aimed to find out the correlation independent variable of logical mathematic intelligence and motivation with dependent of understanding of statistic concept. The population were all of Madrasah Aliyah students in grobogan district in 2015/2016 academic year with total of 110 students were selected as sample. They are 58 students of Madrasah Aliyah Suniyyah Selo, 32 Students of Madrasah Aliyah Nuril Huda, and 20 Students of Madrasah Aliyah Miftahut Thulab. The analysis data used simple regression and double regression analysis. Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that: (1) logical mathematic intelligence and understanding of statistic concept of students of Madrasah Aliyah in grobogan district have a significant positive correlation, (2) motivation and understanding of statistic concept of students of Madrasah Aliyah in grobogan district have no significant positive correlation (3) Logical mathematic intelligence and motivation have a significant positive correlation simultananeously with statistic concept understanding of Madrasah Aliyah students in Grobogan district.

Abstract

Learning time reduction in SMA N 1 Narmada as an earthquake effect became thebackground of flipped-classroom implementation. The research is to: 1) analyze teacher’s preparation in implementing a flipped-classroom; 2) analyze teacher’s performance in it; 3) analyze the uses of multi media in it; and 4) suggest or recommend to enhance it. The research used qualitative method by studying teacher’s lesson plan, observing the implementation, and interviewing the teacher and the headmaster. To gain the data, the researcher used instruments like the teacher’s lesson plan, the observation and interview sheets. From the investigation, the researcher concluded that: 1) the teacher was capable of preparing his teaching and learning activities, the flipped-classroom implementation was implicitly stated in his plan; 2) the teacher’s performance in the process was enhanced. He could optimize the student’s learning; 3) multi media used, video graphics dan powerpointcould be applied well; and 4) suggestion was given to the teacher to improve his teaching performance, including to learn more about the learning models. For the headmaster it was suggested to control the teachers’ performance and conduct a teacher-parent program. Meanwhile, for BPMPK it was to be a good school-partner, especially in case of innovative learning models

Abstract

This study aimed to: (1) To determine the effect of differences in chemistry learning PBL models and models of SMT for high school student achievement in Grobogan. (2) To find out which is better student achievement with learning activity is high or low high school learning activities in Grobogan. (3) To understand the interaction model of learning by students' learning activities to the achievement of high school students studying chemistry in Grobogan. The research was conducted at several high schools in Grobogan including; SMA N 1Gabus, SMA N 1 Kradenan, SMA N 1 Wirosari. The model used in this research is experiment with 2X2 factorial design. The study design using experimental. The results showed that. (1) Differences Influence Model Model PBL with TPS on Learning Achievement in Chemistry. Results of Two-Way ANOVA analysis showed a significant difference in learning achievement chemical groups using PBL and group learning model TPS, with a value of F = 5.432, p <0.05 where student achievement in the subjects of Chemistry with PBL models better than the student who uses a model TPS. (2) Differences in Effects of High learning activities with learning activities Low toward achievement of learning chemistry. Results of Two-Way ANOVA analysis showed a significant difference in learning achievement Chemistry group of students with high learning activities and groups of students with low learning activity, with the value of F = 8.218, p <0.05 where learning achievement in the subjects of Chemistry students who have high learning activity is better than the students who have low learning activities . (3) Interaction Effect Model of learning and learning activities in relation to the achievement of learning chemistry. The result of the calculation of the Two-Way ANOVA analysis finds that there are interactions between the learning model with learning activities to learning achievement Chemistry with a value of F = 4.020, p <0.05 where the average value of learning achievement chemical group PBL models with high learning activity has the highest value of the interpretation of study with a mean of 84.41 while PBL model group with low learning activity have the lowest average value for 74.13.

Abstract

Advances in technology have driven changes in books into the digital age. Even the Indonesian government, in this case, the Ministry of Education and Culture has implemented it in the form of school electronic books or commonly called BSE. However, ebooks or BSE in schools today, still have weaknesses that should be improved. One of them through e-books in the flipbook format. The purpose of this study is to describe the use of flipbook science media in science learning in elementary schools. This research is a qualitative descriptive study conducted in class V SDN Cemara Dua Surakarta, SDN Mangkubumen Lor No.15 Surakata, and SDN Mangkubumen Kidul No.16 Surakarta in 2016/2017 school year. Data collection techniques are carried out using triangulation of data or sources through observation, interviews, and documentary studies. Data analysis starts from the stage of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The results showed that the use of flipbook science media in science learning in elementary schools can be used optimally if the elementary school has supporting facilities or facilities, such as PCs, LCDs, and sound systems as well as good teacher and student resources in the field of technology. basic computer operating skills. In addition, the use of flipbook media must be used in accordance with the learning objectives to be achieved, so that the effectiveness of the use of flipbook media can be felt optimally

Abstract

This research aims to know students’ singing skill in proper tone taught by buret in State Kindergarten School of Pembina Sragen. Buret was a music instrument created using bamboo and arraged following the music tone. This is an action research conducted in even semester of 2016/2017academic year in two cycles. By using technique of singing with buret, students can sing properly by following the buret tone. The result of this research were (1) students’ was actively engaged to sing in proper tone and followed the teachers’ instruction during learning, (2 ) the number of  students who properly followed the tone was increase at the end of cycle 2. The media of buret is proven to be an alternative medium to teach how to sing in proper tone for kindergarten scool. Teachers were supposed to be mare creative to create other media to engange their students
