Abstract

This research aims to improve the learning outcomes of fifth grade students in the Pancasila Education subject, especially regarding norms in life, by implementing the Literature Circle learning model. This model is designed to encourage active student participation through group discussions with specific roles. The research was conducted in two cycles involving 31 students at SD Negeri 3 Sekarteja, using observation sheets and learning outcomes tests as data collection tools, which were analyzed using interpretation. The results of the research showed that there was a significant increase in student learning outcomes, where in the first cycle the majority of students got a score between 70 and 80 with 16% achieving a score of 100, while in the second cycle the number of students who achieved a perfect score increased to 29%, and all students got score above 80. Student participation in discussions also increased, with students who were previously passive becoming more active in asking critical questions and relating the material to personal experiences. Overall, the application of the Literature Circle model is effective in improving learning outcomes and student engagement, so that this model can be used as a suitable learning alternative for Pancasila Education, especially for material that requires in-depth understanding. Keywords: Optimization, Classroom Action Research, Learning Outcomes, Literature Circle

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of problem-based learning models on elementary school students' science self-efficacy. This study is a quasi-experimental study with a nonequivalent control group design using the Independent T-Test hypothesis test. The subjects of this study were 47 sixth grade students of SD Negeri 021 Sungai Kunjang. The research data were taken in qualitative form. The results of this study are the acquisition of students' science self-efficacy scores in the experimental class, namely 208 in the pre-test, and 201 in the post-test, while in the control class, the pre-test score was 183, and the post-test was 181. The results of the hypothesis test showed a 2-tailed sig value of 0.406 (> 0.05) so that H0 was accepted and Ha was rejected. This is due to the limitations of the study and the complex concept of self-efficacy and requires long-term and consistent intervention, so that the impact can be seen more optimally. The dimensions of science self-efficacy also have a strong role in forming good SSE, so that the intervention given needs to pay attention to all dimensions evenly. Abstract

The lack of engaging and interactive learning media in elementary school social science education has contributed to students' low interest and achievement, especially in understanding creative economy concepts. This study aims to develop ClassPoint-based learning media on creative economic materials. measure the validity of ClassPoint-based learning media on creative economic materials and determine the effectiveness of ClassPoint-based learning media on student learning outcomes. The method used in this research is research and development (R&D) with Robert Maribe Branch's 2009 development model, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation (ADDIE). The subjects used in this study were grade VI Saoraja students with a total of 20 students. Data collection techniques and instruments in this study through observation, interviews, learning material validation sheets, learning media validation sheets, teacher response questionnaires, and student response questionnaires. Then the data analysis technique by giving scores to the validation results and response questionnaires, calculating the percentage score of the validity results and response questionnaires, calculating the average percentage score of the validity results and response questionnaires, and categorizing the average percentage according to the eligibility criteria. Based on the data analysis, the feasibility validation of the developed media obtained 92% material expert validation, 93% media expert validation, 97% practitioner validation. While the percentage of student response questionnaire results on a small scale is 97% and the percentage of student response questionnaire results on a large scale is 96%. Based on this, it can be concluded that classpoint-based learning media on creative economic materials are suitable for use in the learning process. Keywords: Learning Media, ClassPoint, Creative Economy.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of diminishing appreciation among students with different cultural backgrounds. The research was conducted at SD Negeri 7 Manggar, East Belitung Regency. In this study, the researcher intends to review the application of the study visit method as an effort that has been undertaken by school to support the process of cultural literacy, which then serves as a response to the existing phenomenon. A qualitative approach is used in this research because it allows for a more accurate understanding of the phenomena that occur. The method used is narrative inquiry research, this method was chosen because it relates to experiences and life events. The research process is supported by using observation and unstructured interview data collection techniques. The data used was then analyzed with reference to the data analysis by Miles, Huberman, and Saldana. The research findings explain that through the process of cultural literacy by conducting study visits to traditional houses in Belitung, teachers can guide students' understanding of local cultural values, particularly the values of mutual respect and cooperation embodied in the traditional houses of Belitung. These cultural values then contribute to fostering an inclusive attitude among students in their daily lives and serve as a unifying strength amidst the cultural diversity in Indonesia.

Abstract

The Independent Curriculum is a development of the K13 curriculum that focuses on developing students' talents, potentials, and interests by digitizing learning with technology. This curriculum begins the Society 5.0 era, where technology dominates. The Independent Curriculum consists of four schools of educational philosophy, each of which has a different way of building a curriculum. One of them is the Reconstructionist philosophy. To find out what dominates the philosophy of education, the development of the independent curriculum must be reviewed from a Reconstructionist perspective. This will make it possible to determine the basis of the curriculum and its results. A qualitative method was used in this study. The primary source of this study came from scientific literature, while secondary sources came from supporting sources such as essays, papers, and interview results with teachers. The results of the study show that reconstructionism is an important component in changing the SDIT Irsyadul Ibad curriculum to the Independent Curriculum.
