Abstract

This study aims to find out whether the income of oil palm farmers can meet the economic welfare of the family and to find out the fulfillment of the economic welfare of oil palm farmers in terms of income in Langga Payung Village. The research method used in this study is qualitative using the field research method. Field research is a research conducted in the field or at a research location to investigate the objective symptoms of what occurs in the location. The results of the study show that the income of oil palm farmers in Langga Payung Village is used to meet basic needs. Some farmers are looking for additional work because they feel that their income is lacking. From the perspective of Maqasid Syariah, it can be seen that the religious, physical, educational, and social needs of farmer families have been well met. Although most of the farming children do not continue their parents' palm oil business, they prefer to pursue higher education. Most farmers have also paid zakat or infaq from their income

Abstract

The self-potential (SP) method investigated leachate distribution near Rawa Kucing. Rawa Kucing is the main landfill in Tangerang that burned almost the entire area. A total of 78 SP data points were scattered throughout the study area. The SP values range from -20 to 16 millivolts, dominated by negative values attributed to electrokinetic processes. The results suggest that a highly conductive zone in the study area may have been caused by high contamination from leachate. The possible direction of leachate flow is towards the Cisadane stream, located west of the landfill. On the other hand, a quantitative interpretation of SP was conducted for two profiles, AA’ and BB’. The result shows that the vertical spreading of leachate was found at a depth of h 6,59 and 3,53 meters and H 8,10 and 4,34 meters for AA' and BB', respectively, with an angle of 28,810. Additionally, groundwater samples were collected from four sites near the landfill to assess groundwater quality using physical and chemical analysis. Based on the Indonesian Ministry of Health Regulation, most parameters indicated low contamination. Statistical analysis revealed that the groundwater near the landfill was worthy of consumption. Based on the results, rainfall during the study significantly reduced the concentrations of contaminants in leachate due to dilution.

Abstract

The dynamic nature of education necessitates inventive approaches to assessment and evaluation. This study concentrates on formulating a Scoring System aligned with Outcome-Based Education (OBE) principles, utilizing the Modular Object-Oriented Dynamic Learning Environment (MOODLE) platform. OBE prioritizes showcasing specific learning outcomes, cultivating a student-centric approach. The proposed system seeks to improve assessments through a flexible framework accommodating diverse learning objectives, employing a modular and object-oriented design. Integration with MOODLE, a widely-used e-learning platform, explores seamless implementation and user-friendly interaction. The Scoring System aids educators in efficiently evaluating student performance against predefined outcomes, fostering transparency and accountability.Key features include customizable assessments, progress tracking, and timely feedback. The study also examines the system's impact on student engagement, motivation, and overall learning outcomes, contributing valuable insights to innovative assessment methodologies in contemporary education. In conclusion, the research introduces a Scoring System harmonizing OBE principles with MOODLE's flexibility, benefiting educators, students, and institutions. The study's outcomes provide valuable implications for educators and technologists aiming to enhance assessments in the evolving education landscape.

Abstract

MSMEs have become the backbone of Indonesia economy and promote inclusive economic development. However, Indonesia MSMEs’ participation in global value chain (GVC) is still limited. The development of digital economy in Indonesia might benefit MSMEs to access resources and inputs, expand to larger market, not only domestic market, but also international market. Digital transformation in economy supports their performance, i.e., increase in market share, business innovation, and more efficient business operation. Digital economy might offer opportunities for MSMEs to become parts of GVC. Since Indonesia experienced rapid development in digital economy, in which more MSMEs utilize digital technologies, such as internet and digital platform, this study aims to observe whether MSMEs digital and technology adoption will increase their probability to participate in global value chain. Therefore, this study aims to observe whether MSMEs digital and technology adoption will increase their probability to participate in GVC. This study uses non-linear probability model (NPM) is to analyze firm-level microdata from Indonesia micro and small manufacturing firms, a survey dataset from Indonesia Statistics (BPS). There are still limited studies particularly for Indonesia MSMEs participation in GVC and their digital adoption in Indonesia. By observing large dataset from firm-level data, the result of this paper provides comprehensive analysis and empirical evidence on how technology adoption for MSMEs relates to probability of MSMEs participation in GVC.

Due to the advancement of technology, P2P lending has become a growing industry in Indonesia as an alternative credit different from a conventional bank, which also might contribute to fostering economic growth. This paper's purpose is to analyze the contribution of P2P lending to Product Domestic Regional Bruto (PDRB) in 5 provinces in Java, which are Banten, DKI Jakarta, West Java, Central Java, DI Yogyakarta, and East Java, using fixed effect panel regressions from Q1-2020 to Q2-2022 period. This paper finds a significant and positive impact of P2P lending on real PDRB growth, with a 0,0754% magnitude. Although there is a positive impact, many challenges still need to be overcome in the P2P lending industry.

Abstract

A research team at SMP Negeri 17 Medan began observing the desire of ninth-grade students to learn using the Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) method. Students from classes IX-A and IX-B, representing a total population of 25, with 8 samples taken from each class, were selected as the sample for this quantitative research study, which employed a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Tests were used as the instrument in this investigation. Both descriptive and inferential statistics were used to analyze the data. The ninth-grade students at SMP Negeri 17 Medan demonstrated a significant increase in their enthusiasm for learning after receiving Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT). This is evidenced by the fact that the average learning motivation scores increased after the implementation of the REBT method. Furthermore, the hypothesis test results reinforced these findings by showing that the experimental group had a much higher level of learning motivation compared to the two control groups. Therefore, it is safe to say that REBT was effective. It made students more motivated to learn, more confident, more enthusiastic about tackling difficult tasks, and ultimately more resilient. This indicates that the REBT approach could be a potentially effective strategy for improving the quality of learning and academic achievement of students in the school environment.
