Abstract

Taxes are a source of state income as much as the use of which is intended to improve the welfare of the community through the development and improvement of public facilities. Tax revenue comes from contributions generated from the community and for the community as well, this is because the results of the tax revenue are used for general financing rather than all government financing, even one of the benchmarks for the success or failure of a country's economyObjectives: This study aims to examine the factors that influence the use of e-Filing for individual taxpayers by using information technology readiness as an intervening variable.Methodology: The analysis method used a structural equation modeling (SEM) which is processed by using Smart PLS.Finding: The study's results indicate the following: Satisfaction perception has a positive impact on e-Filing adoption, whereas Perceptions of convenience, security, and confidentiality do not influence e-Filing usage. Additionally, Satisfaction perception does not affect information technology readiness, whereas Perceptions of convenience, security, and confidentiality have a positive effect on technology readiness. Furthermore, Satisfaction perception, along with security and confidentiality, positively impacts e-Filing utilization when mediated by technology information readiness. However, the perception of convenience does not affect e-Filing usage when technology readiness serves as an intermediary factor. Conclusion: Information technology readiness exerts a substantial influence on e-Filing utilization, signifying that higher information technology readiness leads to increased e-Filing adoption by taxpayers.

Panel data regression is performed while the analysis technique is processed through E-views 9.Finding The results indicate the implementation of the fixed effect model has found that liquidity in this case is the current ratio and profitability which is represented by ROE showed that variables do not affect stock returns while solvency which is represented by debt-to-equity ratio has an impact on the stock returns. The current ratio does not affect the return on equity, while the debt-to-equity ratio has a negative effect on return on equity. The current ratio and debt-to-equity ratio mediated by return on equity do not affect stock returns. Conclusion: High liquidity indicates an increase in company performance but in this case, liquidity is still not considered as a determining factor for investors in investing because investors are more focused on the use of capital and debt.

Abstract

Objectives: The objective of this research is to address subjective elements in talent management assessment in civil service organizations, focusing particularly on the Ministry of Home Affairs. By investigating the effectiveness of the Sikerja application and proposing solutions to enhance objectivity, the study seeks to contribute practical insights for advancing talent management practices.Methodology: This research employed qualitative research, utilizing a case study approach. Through in-depth interviews with key personnel and a thorough literature review, data is collected and analyzed comprehensively.Finding: The study reveals significant shortcomings in Sikerja's ability to address subjectivity in performance appraisal at the Ministry of Home Affairs. It lacks rigorous testing and is influenced by personal biases, undermining its reliability. To develop a more effective talent management framework, the study proposes adopting a Data-Driven Decision-Making (DDDM) approach. This involves establishing an independent team to analyze performance data objectively, ensuring fairness and transparency. Finally, the study recommends developing a talent management model based on Berger's concept and data for continuous improvement. Conclusion: Developing a talent management model for the Ministry of Home Affairs requires an understanding of the current situation. The review of the Sikerja application highlights its limitations; subjectivity in assessments and the lack of scientific validation in its methods, which hinder its efficacy. Therefore, the author suggests adopting a Data-Driven Decision-Making (DDDM) approach in talent management. DDDM offers a robust solution by establishing an independent data analysis team, ensuring objectivity, and identifying areas for improvement. Integrating DDDM principles into all talent management stages will establish a framework promoting objectivity, transparency, and fairness, ultimately optimizing the workforce's potential.

Abstract

Objectives: This investigation aimed to ascertain the influence of Liquidity, Capital Adequacy, and Non-Performing Loans on Financial Performance while considering the moderating role of Cost Efficiency. Methodology: This study utilizes secondary data collected through purposive sampling. 100 samples were selected based on specific criteria over 5 time periods using the EViews testing tool. The data was analyzed using Panel Data Regression with Moderating Regression Analysis. Finding: Liquidity and capital adequacy positively impact financial performance, while non-performing loans have no significant effect. Cost efficiency strengthens the positive effects of liquidity and capital adequacy but not of non-performing loans. Conclusion: Enhancing financial performance is crucial for any organization, and liquidity and capital adequacy play a vital role in achieving this goal. These factors have been proven to have a favorable impact on the overall financial health of a company. Conversely, non-performing loans appear to have a negligible impact on financial performance. However, cost efficiency can further strengthen the positive effects of liquidity and capital adequacy, but it does not have the same impact on non-performing loans. Hence, focusing on maintaining high levels of liquidity and capital adequacy, along with improving cost efficiency, can greatly contribute to enhancing financial performance.

Abstract

Objective: The objective of the study is to analyze the factors that shape tourists' environmentally responsible behavior. The proposed research model integrates norm activation theory, stakeholder theory, and a utilitarian perspective. From the norm activation theory perspective, two variables, namely awareness of consequences and ascribed responsibility, are included in the model as antecedents of personal norms. Destination social responsibility, as a stakeholder effort to promote environmental protection, can strengthen the influence of personal norms on environmentally responsible behavior. Furthermore, the utilitarian perspective in the form of perceived value, which is the benefit that tourists obtain from traveling to a destination, is also a moderating influence of personal norms on environmentally responsible behavior. Methodology: This study involved 255 respondents who had visited Yogyakarta. Data were processed using Smart-PLS to determine the relationships between variables. Finding: The results show that awareness of consequences and ascribed responsibility are factors in forming personal norms. Personal norms have a positive influence on environmentally responsible behavior. Furthermore, the data supported the role of perceived value as a moderator. However, destination social responsibility does not moderate the influence of personal norms on environmentally responsible behavior. Conclusion: The study concludes that the norms activation theory holds that personal norms are antecedents to environmentally responsible behavior. Personal norms’s influence on environmentally responsible behavior is strengthened by perceived value.
