Abstract

The treatment and packaging of wet vegetables such as mustard greens during the delivery process from farmers to consumers greatly affects the quality of mustard greens. In order for mustard greens to last longer, the right material is needed as a packaging medium for mustard greens. Good packaging for vegetables instead of plastic is banana leaves and teak leaves. In this study, we compared packaging with banana leaves, teak leaves and without packaging. Packaging treatment in the cardboard and outside the cardboard. The results showed that mustard greens treated in cardboard boxes with banana leaves decomposed within 7 days, teak leaves 5 days while without packaging for 4 days. The final temperature was 30.5 oC in the teak and banana leaf packages, while the unpackaged temperature was 29.5 oC. Mustard greens treated outside the cardboard box with banana leaf packaging decomposed within 6 days, teak leaves 4 days and without packaging only 3 days. The final temperature was 29.5 oC for banana leaves and teak leaves while those without packaging were 28.5 oC. From the results obtained, the treatment in cardboard and using banana leaf packaging has a long spoilage age.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop an e-module on liquid pressure material to remediate students' misconceptions. This type of research is development research using the ADDIE model. Data collection techniques used questionnaires for validators, teachers and students as well as four-tier diagnostic tests. The effectiveness test was obtained from the analysis of the students' pre-test and post-test results based on the four tier diagnostic test decision criteria. Based on the results of the validation of the e-module development by material experts and media experts, it was declared feasible, while the results of the teacher's response obtained a percentage of 85.71% in the very good category, the results of student responses in the one-on-one trial obtained a percentage of 92.67% in the very good category. , the results of student responses in small group trials obtained a percentage of 88.41% in the very good category. The results of the student effectiveness test experienced a significant decrease in misconceptions with an average percentage of 52%. Wilcoxon nonparametric test results show the results of z = -2,673 and Asymp.sig (2-tailed) is 0.008, it can be concluded that there is a significant difference between students' pre-test and post-test scores, so it can be concluded that the use of e-modules is effective in remediating students' misconceptions. SMP and based on the effect size value of r = 0.63, which means that the use of e-modules has a moderate effect in remediating students' misconceptions about the material pressure of liquids.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the understanding of students' concepts on the basic material of electronics based on the project based learning model. This research is a design research. The research sample was 35 electrical engineering students. Data collection is in the form of a concept understanding test. Based on the results of research and discussion, it can be concluded that project based learning can improve students' understanding of concepts in basic electronics courses, but is still in the moderate category.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: to describe online and offline learning strategies in science subjects for class VIII at SMPN 3 Pacar. The type of research used is descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The subjects in this study were educators and students of class VIII SMP Negeri 3Pacar, totaling 5 people, science teachers 2 people and also the principal. The object of this research is online and offline learning strategies in science subjects. Data collection instruments in the form of data from interviews, observations and documentation. Data were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that online and offline learning strategies. For offline learning strategies, teachers deliver lessons using strategies such as procurement of material summaries, weekly assignments and home visits. The teacher's online learning strategy uses the WhatsApp application, but it is rarely used because it is constrained by the internet network and also not all students have Android phone.

Abstract

The purpose of this development research is to produce worksheet products based on the integrated PjBL-STEM model with entrepreneurial characteristics oriented towards the creative thinking skills of students in the material of heat and its transfer. This research is a type of development research (Research and Development) using the ADDIE model. The LKPD teaching materials that had been developed were then validated by a team of experts, and then tested on class VII students at SMP N 12 Jambi City. The subjects of this research trial were science teachers, one-on-one and small group trials. From the analysis of the assessment of the two teachers, a percentage of 90% was obtained with the "very good" category, to see the agreement of the two teachers, a kappa test was also carried out with a value of 0.820 in the "very good" category. In the one-on-one test conducted on three students, it was found that the overall average percentage was 83.3% in the "very decent" category. After the one-on-one trials, small group trials were also carried out on six students and it was found that the overall average percentage was 85%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sebuah lembar kerja peserta didik (LKPD) berbasis STEM-5E Learning Cycle untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa SMA kemudian menguji validitas dari LKPD tersebut. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan R&D (research and development) dengan mengadopsi prosedur 4D Models yang mencakup atas 4 tahapan yakni tahap pendefinisian (define), tahap perancangan (design), tahap pengembangan (develop), dan tahap penyebaran (disseminate) yang kemudian dimodifikasi menjadi 3D Models dengan tahapan yaitu antara lain tahap pendefinisian (define), tahap perancangan (design), dan tahap pengembangan (develop). Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar validasi yang diberikan kepada tiga orang dosen ahli dan sembilan orang guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan jika LKPD berbasis STEM-5E Learning Cycle untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa SMA termasuk dalam kategori valid dengan nilai validitas di atas 80% dan memiliki klasifikasi yang berada pada rentang baik hingga sangat baik berdasarkan pada penilaian yang telah diberikan oleh validator ahli ditinjau dari aspek didaktik, aspek kualitas isi, dan aspek teknis.

Abstract

This development research aims to produce a valid and reliable Contextual Teaching Learning-based performance appraisal tool. The development design uses ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implementation, and Evaluation). The performance appraisal step is carried out in 4 stages, namely 1) the preparation stage: determining competence, determining scoring guidelines, adjusting teaching materials, making instrument grids and making assessment items, 2) Implementation stages: conducting expert validation tests and field tests) 3) Stages scoring 4) Reporting stage. The results showed that the Contextual Teaching Learning-based performance appraisal instrument which was validated by instrument experts obtained a total result of 85.7% with a very good category. The results of the field test by 33 students of class X MA AL Aisyah showed very high validity and reliability and obtained 31 valid items and 4 items were declared invalid. The value of rtable = 0.361 with a significance level of 5% validity test using Cronbach's alpha obtained rcount = 0.89 this proves that the instrument is in the high category. So that the Contextual Teaching Learning-based performance assessment instrument on simple harmonic motion material is feasible to use.

Abstract

Physics was one of the studies that had a wide range of abstract concepts and in order to understand those, all of the students need to involve their senses. Peth Simulation was a learning media equipped with LKPD guidelines that would help teachers to deliver the material efficiently. Therefore, this research had the purpose to evaluate the implementation of LKPD learning media using Phet Simulation in direct current electricity subject. The method used in this research was pre-experiment with data from pre-test and post-test questionnaires in google form delivered to eight samples and after that, the data would be processed by SPSS with wilcoxon calculation. The result of this research based on wilcoxon calculation was showing at sig. (two-tailed) = 0.010 < 0.5 so the hypothesis was accepted and proven that there was a significant influence with the implementation of LKPD learning media using Phet Simulation in direct current electricity subject.

Abstract

Geometry optics is one of the materials that must be mastered by students, but based on the research results it can be seen that students' understanding of geometric optics tends to be lacking. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using e-learning in teaching and learning activities, especially material regarding optical geometry to students of SMA N 1 Pakusari Jember. This study used a field survey method with direct observation in the field. This field survey took place at SMA N 1 Pakusari Jember with the implementation of observations of class XI MIPA 1 students. Based on the acquisition and suitability between learning outcomes from student learning accuracy there is 60% of the accuracy of answer questions which can be said to be quite effective by using e-learning-based learning media. web. While the remaining 40% is less effective when using web-based e-learning learning media. In addition, it can be seen from the results of the hots questions where students get quite high accuracy of answers by looking at the number of correct answers and wrong answers from students. With the acquisition of accuracy of 47% -63% of the answers and the acquisition of correct answers more than the acquisition of wrong answers. So it can be concluded that the use of web-based e-learning learning media on optical geometry material is quite effective

Abstract

This research was conducted to know the effect of applying the CTL learning model assisted by snakes and ladders media on student learning outcomes. This research is experimental research with a pretest-posttest control group design. The population in this study were all MIPA Putri MA students in Pamekasan, while the sample consisted of two groups, namely the experimental class and the control class, with a purposive sampling technique. The experimental class and control class samples each consisted of 30 students. The experimental class was given the CTL model learning treatment with the help of ladder snakes, while the control class was given the Discovery Learning (DL) model. The instrument used in this study was an instrument to test students' physics learning outcomes in the C1-C4 cognitive domain in the form of multiple-choice questions. Data collection is done through tests. Data analysis used the Ancova test with the pretest results as the control variable. The results showed that the significance value obtained was <0.001 (<0.05), meaning that the CTL model assisted by snakes and ladders media significantly affects student learning outcomes.
