Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 3 Halmahera Selatan melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu bentuk penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan menggunakan dua siklus dan setiap siklus dilakukan melalui empat tahap yakni (1) Perencanaan, (2) Pelaksanaan, (3) Pengamatan, dan (4) Refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas X IPA di SMA Negeri 3 Halmahera Selatan  pada materi perubahan keseimbangan lingkungan. Hasil observasi  aktivitas  siswa pada siklus I yaitu  53% yang tergolong kurang sedangkan pada siklus II yaitu meningkat menjadi 100%. Sedangkan hasil observasi aktivitas  guru siklus I yaitu 64%, siklus II meningkat menjadi 100%. Sedangkan hasil belajar siswa dengan mengunakan model  Problem Based Learning (PBL) pada siklus I sebanyak 13 orang yang belum tuntas atau sebanyak 65% yang belum mencapai KKM. Sedangkan pada siklus II hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan sebanyak 19 orang yang tuntas atau sebanyak 95%  siswa yang mencapai ketuntasan belajar, sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL)  dapat meningkatkan  hasil belajar.

Abstract

Walnuts are a native Indonesian plant that grows widely in eastern Indonesia such as North Sulawesi and North Maluku. In biology, the walnut shell is called the endocarpium and acts as a fuel substitute for kerosene. Currently, endocarpium is unused waste, so it is necessary to process it into a useful product with high economic value, in the form of briquettes as an alternative fuel. The aim of this research is to describe the use of walnut endocarpium as briquettes and to describe the results of validation of learning posters in the community. The research was carried out for 3 months, June to August 2023 and took place in the biology laboratory of FKIP Unkhair for the process of cleaning the endocarpium, drying, carbonization and making briquettes. The research results show that the endocarpium of walnuts from Makian Island can be used to make briquettes with a height of 5 cm and a diameter of 16 cm. Empirical test results show that using 2 briquettes can boil 300 ml of water in 1.38 seconds. The poster validation results are categorized as valid to very valid, and suitable for use as learning media in the community.

Abstract

The research is classroom action research which aims to improve students' mathematics learning outcomes through the application of the PBL model with the TaRL approach. The research subjects were 36 students of class X TE 3. The instruments used were observation sheets and learning outcomes tests. Data collection methods include information on student activities, implementation of actions, and student learning achievements. Student activity data will be interpreted qualitatively, while learning outcome data will be analyzed quantitatively through a descriptive statistical approach. From the research results, it was concluded that using the PBL model with the TaRL approach can improve students' mathematics learning outcomes.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to improve the process and outcomes of students’ Indonesian language learning through differentiated learning. This research uses classroom action research methods. The research subjects were students of class XI IPS I SMA Negeri 8 Ternate City, totaling 34 students. The research was carried out in two cycles consisting of planning, implementation, observation and reflection stages. Data on the process of implementing differentiated learning was obtained through observation sheets of teacher and student activities. Data on student learning outcomes is obtained from learning outcomes tests. The results of the research show that there has been an increase in the process of implementing differentiated learning from cycle 1 to cycle 2. Based on an assessment of the performance indicators for the success of student learning activities, data was obtained that in cycle 1 the good category was 50%, the category was fair, the category was 20%, and the poor category was 30%. In cycle 2, there was an increase in the success of student learning activities as seen from the achievement of the good category to 85%, the fair category 10% and the poor category 5%. From the results of the assessment of teacher performance indicators in cycle 1, it can be seen that a score of 68 was achieved in the poor category. In cycle 2, there was an increase in teacher performance which was seen from achieving a score of 90 in the very good category. From the results of the analysis of the research data, it can be concluded that the implementation of differentiated learning in Indonesian language learning can improve the learning process and outcomes.

Abstract

This research was undermined by the low level of science process skills of students of class X MIPA in high school state 6 Pontianak. The research aims to know the improvement of the skills of the science process participants learn on the material of the ecosystem. The subjects of this survey are students of class X MIPA State High School 6 Pontianak who have a total of 29 students. This type of research is a collaborative class action study consisting of 4 stages namely action planning, action implementation, observation and reflection. Data collection techniques use non-testing techniques with observation sheets. Research results show that the PBL learning model can improve the learning process science skills of the learners. This is characterized by an increase in student observation results on cycle 1 by 59% and there are cycles II by 82% with an increase of 23%.  An increase in the indicator observed by 16%, formulated hypotheses by 31%, classified by 14%, planned experiments by 24%, implemented concepts by 25%, drawn conclusions by 32%, and communicated by 19%. Based on the results of research, it can be concluded that bringing a problem-based learning model can improve the skills of science process classes X MIPA High School State 6 Pontianak.

Abstract

The integration of Natural Sciences (IPA) with Mathematics is an important requirement in 21st-century science education to develop students' critical thinking, creative thinking, and numeracy literacy. This study aims to analyze the implementation of integrated learning of Science and Mathematics based on the CCDSR (Condition, Construction, Development, Simulation, Reflection) model in improving the science process skills of students in the Master of Science Education Study Program, Universitas Khairun in the Integrated Science Studies course. The method used is a pre-experimental one group pretest–posttest design with a sample of 12 students in the odd semester of 2025. The results of the study showed a significant increase in science process skills (SPS) with an average N-gain in the medium-high category (0.62-0.88). This finding confirms the importance of innovative model-based science-mathematics integration to improve students' scientific thinking skills.

Abstract

Clean and healthy living behaviour is a manifestation of the reality of human life by applying learning principles to students to behave to love the school environment. The state of the environment is closely related to the process of changing student behaviour for the better. The purpose of this study was to analyse the level of student behaviour towards environmental cleanliness at SMP Negeri 7 Ternate City. The research method uses a quantitative descriptive approach, which describes data made either alone or in groups. Using data from 60 respondents from all students at SMP N 7 Ternate City, totalling 1,110 students. The technique in sampling uses simple random sampling, namely as a simple random sample without regard to strata in the population. The results showed that students' behaviour in maintaining environmental cleanliness at SMP Negeri 7 Ternate City was obtained a percentage value of 84.00% with a very caring category based on three indicators, namely: 1) indicators of always maintaining cleanliness and environmental sustainability; 2) loving the tidiness of the classroom and; 3) participant-based environmental activities

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa berkemampuan tinggi, sedang, dan rendah dalam menyelesaikan masalah statistika dan untuk mengetahui faktor penyebab siswa melakukan kesalahan dalam menyelesaikan masalah statistika berdasarkan kriteria Watson. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan metode tes tulis, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian yaitu satu siswa berkemampuan tinggi, satu siswa berkemampuan sedang, dan satu siswa berkemampuan rendah dari 28 siswa kelas X-4 SMA Persatuan Kedungpring. Setiap hasil pekerjaan subjek penelitian dianalisis untuk mendeksripsikan kesalahan subjek yang dilakukan siswa berkemampuan tinggi, sedang, dan rendah menggunakan kriteria Watson. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa siswa berkemampuan tinggi melakukan kesalahan pada kategori prosedur tidak tepat pada indikator siswa menuliskan langkah-langkah yang tidak sesuai dengan permasalahan, siswa berkemampuan matematika sedang melakukan kesalahan pada kategori prosedur tidak tepat pada indikator siswa menggunakan rumus yang tidak tepat dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan dan indikator siswa menuliskan langkah-langkah yang tidak sesuai dengan permasalahan, dan siswa berkemampuan matematika rendah melakukan kesalahan pada kategori prosedur tidak tepat pada indikator siswa menggunakan rumus yang tidak tepat dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan, konflik level respon pada kategori siswa langsung menuliskan jawaban tanpa disertai prosedur penyelesaiannya dan masalah hirarki keterampilan pada kategori siswa salah dalam menuangkan ide. Faktor penyebab siswa melakukan kesalahan adalah tidak mengetahui langkah-langkah yang akan digunakan dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan dan tidak mengetahui cara untuk mencari statistika serta salah dalam menuangkan ide. Saran bagi siswa, lebih sering berlatih dalam mengerjakan soal matematika agar tidak melakukan kesalahan. Saran bagi guru hendaknya penelitian ini bisa dijadikan evaluasi untuk mengetahui kesalahan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal statistika dan saran bagi peneliti selanjutnya agar dapat menggunakan kriteria yang lain dan menggunakan model soal yang lain seperti AKM.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe make a match menggunakan media flashcard untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar pada materi Pembagian di kelas IV SDN 21 Kota Ternate. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 18 siswa, dengan rincian 9 siswa laki-laki dan 9 siswa perempuan. Penelitian dirancang dengan desain PTK yang meliputi empat tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes, observasi dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, aktivitas penelitian pada siklus I mencapai 81,67% dan meningkat menjadi 88,67% pada siklus II. Aktivitas siswa juga menunjukkan peningkatan, dari 73,22% pada siklus I menjadi 91,08% pada siklus II. Tingkat ketuntasan belajar pada siklus I sebesar 50%, 9 siswa tuntas dan 9 siswa tidak tuntas dengan nilai rata-rata 54. Pada siklus II ketuntasan meningkat menjadi 77,79%, dengan jumlah siswa tuntas 14 siswa dan tidak tuntas 4 siswa dengan nilai rata-rata 76. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Make a Match dengan menggunakan media flashcard efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SDN 21 Kota Ternate, dengan adanya peningkatan ketuntasan hasil belajar sebesar 27,79% dari siklus I ke siklus II.
