Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of work motivation on employee performance in the Islamic banking sector in Indonesia, with a case study at a Sharia People's Financing Bank (BPRS) in Pekanbaru. The research sample consisted of 37 people, taken using the census method. Data analysis used simple linear regression. The results of the partial t-test show that work motivation has a significant effect on employee performance at the BPRS (t-count = 4.477 > t-table = 2.035). The magnitude of the effect of work motivation on employee performance is 36.4% (R² = 0.364). Based on these findings, it is recommended that management strengthen the relationship between superiors and subordinates to create a harmonious work climate, considering that this aspect received the lowest response from respondents. The results of this study are expected to provide input for the development of more effective human resource management systems in Islamic financial institutions.

Abstract

Abstrak : Perubahan dalam ekonomi digital dan pola hidup kosumtif dikalangan gen Z mengahdirkan tantangan baru dalam pengelolaan keuangan personal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi dampak pemahaman financial literacy, financial anxiety, dan life style terhadap keuangan personal di kalangan gen Z Kabupaten Buleleng. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei terhadap 100 responden gen Z yang sudah bekerja atau menjalankan usaha sendiri. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis regresi berganda, uji asumsi klasik, analisis uji koefisiensi determinasi, dan uji T-test (Parsial). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Financial literacy memberikan dampak yanng positif dan signifikan terhadap keuangan personal yang berarti semakin tinggi pemahaman seseorang tentang keuangan semakin baik pengelolaan keuangannya, Financial anxiety berpengaruh negatif namun tidak signifikan yang menunjukan bahwa rasa cemas mengenai keuangan secara tidak langsung memengaruhi perilaku financial gen Z di Buleleng, dan Life style berpengaruh postif dan signifikan terhadap keuangan personal hal ini menunjukan bahwa semakin tinggi pemahaman keuangan dan gaya hidup yang terarah semakin baik kondisi keuangan individu. Berdasarkan hasil analisis yang dilakukan diperoleh hasil bahwa financial literacy, fianncial anxiety dan life style berpengaruh terhadap keuangan personal pada gen Z di Kabupaten Buleleng dengan nialai Adjusted R-Square sebesar 0,499 atau 49,9%. Pembuktian hipotesis dilakukan dengan perbandingan antara t tabel dengan t hitung pada setiap model regresi. Abstract

The purchasing behavior of environmentally friendly products is gaining increasing attention among consumers, particularly among students who are becoming more concerned with sustainability. This study aims to analyze the influence of ecolabel and price on the purchasing behavior of environmentally friendly products among students at the Faculty of Economics, Universitas Pasir Pangarain. This research uses a quantitative approach with descriptive and explanatory research types. The sample consists of 100 students selected using purposive sampling technique. The data analysis tool used is SPSS 26 with multiple linear regression methods to test the influence of ecolabel and price on purchasing decisions. The results show that both variables, ecolabel and price, have a positive and significant effect on the purchasing behavior of environmentally friendly products. The managerial implications of this research suggest that companies should strengthen clear ecolabeling and set appropriate prices to attract more young consumers, especially students, who are increasingly concerned with sustainability

Abstract

The era of globalization demands that education be capable of producing high- quality human resources who play a vital role in national development. This study aims to analyze the influence of competence and work ethic on teacher performance at SMK Negeri 2 Pekanbaru. The research employed a multiple linear regression method with a sample of 74 teachers. The results of the heteroscedasticity test indicated no signs of heteroscedasticity. Furthermore, both the t-test and F-test confirmed that competence and work ethic have a significant influence, both partially and simultaneously, on teacher performance. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 91.5% shows that competence and work ethic collectively explain a large portion of the variation in teacher performance. These findings emphasize the importance of enhancing competence—particularly in the aspect of personality—and strengthening work ethic, especially discipline, to support optimal teacher performance. The study recommends continuous training and regular evaluations to improve the quality of education at SMK Negeri 2 Pekanbaru.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of Social Media Marketing and Brand Image on Purchase Decisions, both partially and simultaneously. The research employs a quantitative descriptive analysis method, with the data obtained from primary sources through the distribution of questionnaires. The collected data were then analyzed using SPSS version 27. The population in this study consists of Kopi Kenangan Panam Pekanbaru consumers, with a total sample of 99 respondents determined using the Slovin formula. The sampling technique applied was non-probability sampling, specifically accidental sampling, which selects respondents based on coincidence or availability. Data analysis using SPSS includes tests for validity, reliability, classical assumptions, as well as simple and multiple linear regression analyses. The results indicate that Social Media Marketing (X1) has a significant effect on Purchase Decisions (Y), Brand Image (X2) has a significant effect on Purchase Decisions (Y), and both Social Media Marketing (X1) and Brand Image (X2) together have a significant effect on Purchase Decisions (Y) at Kopi Kenangan Panam Pekanbaru.

Abstract

The increasingly dynamic business environment requires organizations to possess human resources (HR) that are competent, adaptive, and competitive. One strategy to improve the quality of human resources is the implementation of competency-based recruitment management. This study aims to analyze the implementation of competency-based recruitment as a strategy for enhancing HR quality at PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, as well as to identify supporting factors, obstacles, and its impact on organizational performance. The research employs a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation studies. The research informants include HR managers, line managers, and newly recruited employees. Data analysis is conducted using the Miles and Huberman model through the stages of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, with data validity ensured through triangulation. The results indicate that competency-based recruitment improves the alignment between individual competencies and job requirements, strengthens a meritocratic culture, and reduces employee turnover rates. The main supporting factors include top management commitment, the use of digital technology, and collaboration between HR departments and line managers. The obstacles encountered include resistance to change and limited understanding of competency-based methodologies. Overall, competency-based recruitment has proven effective in improving HR quality and supporting the sustainability of organizational strategies in the banking sector. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of training on innovative work behavior of employees with self-efficacy as a mediating variable at the Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Office of Riau Province. Innovative work behavior is key to improving the performance of public organizations, especially in the era of digital transformation. The study used a quantitative approach with a survey method of 160 ASN employees at the ESDM Office of Riau Province using a saturated sampling technique. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4.0 software. The results showed that: (1) training had a positive and significant effect on self-efficacy (β=0.829; t=36.015; p<0.001); (2) training had a positive and significant effect on innovative work behavior (β=0.457; t=6.167; p<0.001); (3) Self-efficacy has a positive and significant effect on innovative work behavior (β=0.466; t=6.432; p<0.001); and (4) Self-efficacy mediates the effect of training on innovative work behavior in a positive and significant manner (β=0.386; t=6.181; p<0.001). The research model has very strong predictive relevance (Q²=0.931) and high goodness of fit (GoF=0.75). These findings emphasize the importance of quality training in building employee self-confidence as a foundation for the emergence of innovative work behavior in a bureaucratic environment. Abstract

The use of digital technology in the modern era provides significant opportunities for strengthening local democracy, including in the context of Regional Head Elections. This study aims to analyze the role of social organizations in strengthening local democracy in Enrekang Regency in the 2024 Pilkada. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study design, involving 10 key informants consisting of representatives of social organizations, community leaders, and digital media managers who are active in the Pilkada process. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis. The results of the study indicate that social organizations are able to increase public political awareness, expand access to information through digital media, and facilitate inclusive political discussions. However, challenges such as the digital divide and the spread of misinformation are significant obstacles in this process. This study concludes that collaboration between local governments, social organizations, and the community is crucial to maximize the potential of digital technology in creating inclusive, transparent, and sustainable political participation. The findings of this study provide a practical contribution to strengthening technology-based democracy at the local level and offer a novelty in a collaborative model for strengthening digital-based local democracy

Abstract

This study aims to explore the impact of altruistic leadership on voice behavior and evaluate the mediating role of trust in the leader, considering the significance of voice behavior as a driver of innovation and organizational performance improvement. This study focuses on the impact of altruistic leadership on voice behavior through the mediation of trust in the leader among civil servants (ASN) in Indragiri Hilir Regency. To examine the causal relationship between variables, a quantitative approach with a causal design was used. The population consists of active civil servants, with a sample of 152 respondents selected using purposive sampling to include relevant elements. The main instrument was a questionnaire that measured respondents' perceptions of the variables of altruistic leadership, trust in the leader, and voice behavior. It was found that altruistic leadership positively and significantly influences both voice behavior and trust in the leader, with trust in the leader also positively influencing voice behavior. The key finding is that trust in the leader fully mediates the relationship between altruistic leadership and voice behavior, indicating that a leader's authentic altruistic behavior can only enhance employees' willingness to speak up when it successfully establishes a solid foundation of trust, acting as a psychological buffer against potential risks. The implications of these findings emphasize the urgency for organizations to develop altruism-based leadership as a foundational strategy to build trust, ultimately supporting a participatory and innovative culture.

Abstract

study aims to determine how much influence the size of the company, liquidity and fixed asset ratio together and partial to the capital structure with 30 samples in the consumer goods industry companies in Indonesia Stock Exchange. The analytical method used is panel data regression analysis. The result of partial research is that firm size is not influential and not significant, liquidity has negative and significant effect, while fixed asset ratio has positive and significant effect to capital structure. Simultaneously significant effect on capital structure. Finally, the authors suggest to the next researcher in order to add variables and research samples. And for the company is advised to put more of its own capital than foreign capital, because the higher the foreign capital obtained by the company, the company's debt repayment rate is higher.
