Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to investigate the direct positive influence of interpersonal communication and peer supervision on teacher performance in elementary schools. The study aims to understand how these factors contribute to enhancing teacher effectiveness and overall educational quality. The method used in this research is a structural equation model analysis, which allows for the examination of relationships between multiple variables simultaneously. Data was collected through questionnaires distributed to elementary school teachers, and the results were analyzed using statistical software. The findings indicate that both interpersonal communication and peer supervision have significant positive effects on teacher performance. The path coefficients for the influence of interpersonal communication and peer supervision on teacher performance are 0.4148 and 0.7857, respectively, with p-values less than 0.05, indicating strong statistical significance. Additionally, the study highlights the importance of effective communication skills and structured peer supervision programs in fostering a collaborative and supportive educational environment. These results suggest that educational institutions should prioritize developing these areas to improve teacher performance and student outcomes. In conclusion, enhancing interpersonal communication and peer supervision among teachers can lead to significant improvements in teaching effectiveness. Educational institutions are encouraged to implement training and support programs to strengthen these skills, thereby promoting a higher quality of education. Keywords: interpersonal communication; peer supervision; teacher performance

This research uses a quantitative type of research design through associative causal survey research, namely asking about the relationship or influence between the independent/free variable (influence) and the dependent/bound variable (influenced). Research conducted by survey determines the value of several variables, from several hypotheses regarding the actions and characteristics of an object. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire instrument given to all. Data analysis uses simple linear regression to test how influential transformational leadership is on organizational change, and multiple linear regression to test how influential transformational leadership and lecturer commitment together are on organizational change with the moderating effect of organizational culture at the Faculty of Tarbiyah State Islamic Institute of Madura. Based on the results of this data analysis, three research conclusions were obtained. First, the transformational leadership applied by leaders at the Faculty of Tarbiyah IAIN Madura has a very significant influence on organizational change. In other words, whether leadership is transformative. The better a leader demonstrates in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Langkat Regency, the more likely it is that teachers will perform better in fulfilling their ooko k responsibilities; At Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Langkat Regency, ability (X2) has a positive and substantial effect on teacher performance (Y) with a p value of 0.000, where the value is less than 0.05, indicating that ability affects performance. In the meanwhile, the test yielded a t-statistic value of 4.092, indicating that it is more than 1.96. This implies that instructors will be able to carry out their tasks in accordance with their capacities given their current set of skills, which will impact the enhancement of teacher performance; (3) At Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Langkat Regency, motivation (X3) has a positive and substantial impact on teacher performance (Y), with a p value of 0.000, where the value is less than 0.05, indicating that motivation affects performance. Abstract

This study examined the role of supervisors in supporting postgraduate students from the students’ perspective. Through interviews with postgraduate students at two universities, the research aimed to understand how students perceive and experience guidance from their supervisors. The factors examined included meeting frequency, feedback, and guidance received by students from supervisors. The analysis identified strengths in supervisory support in these areas, as well as areas needing improvement. Results indicated quality feedback and regular communication had the greatest positive impact. However, many students desired more hands-on help with methodology and writing. The study recommends supervisor training programs focused on writing guidance and supervision skills. By implementing such programs, universities can enable supervisors to provide optimal student support, thereby improving experiences and outcomes. This research provides key insights into strengthening student-supervisor relationships

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to investigate the influence of teacher self-efficacy on teacher performance through organizational learning. The research employs a quantitative analysis approach using multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS 25 and SMART PLS 3. The population consists of 111 teachers from five schools in Sinjai Regency, from which a sample of 111 respondents was obtained through proportional sampling techniques. The findings indicate that teacher self-efficacy affects teacher performance, supporting the first hypothesis. However, the second hypothesis is rejected as organizational learning does not influence teacher performance. Lastly, the third hypothesis is rejected, indicating that teacher self-efficacy on teacher performance through organizational learning does not have an effect; teacher self-efficacy will not enhance teacher performance after reducing organizational learning. Keywords: teacher self-efficacy, teacher performance, merdeka belajar curriculum, organizational learning

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out and analyze the influence of the principal's transformational leadership on teacher performance mediated by work motivation. This research uses descriptive quantitative research with a correlational approach. The subjects of this research were high school teachers in Liquiça Regency. The sample in this study was 159 teachers, and it was taken using simple random sampling techniques. The data was analyzed using two types of analysis, namely descriptive analysis and SEM analysis. The results of the analysis confirm that (1) the principal's transformational leadership directly influences work motivation; (2) the principal's transformational leadership directly influences the decline in teacher performance; (3) work motivation has a direct effect on teacher performance; (4) the indirect influence of the principal's transformational leadership on teacher performance is mediated by work motivation. The probability value obtained is 0.007 ≤ 0.05. This means that every increase in the principal's transformational leadership will have an indirect impact on increasing teacher performance with the help of mediation in the form of work motivation.

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to see how the principal of MAS Alwasriya Johor manages the use of social media to increase students' learning interest. Social media is an online platform that allows people to communicate, collaborate, share, communicate, and build real social relationships. This descriptive field study used a qualitative methodology. Based on the survey results, in the 2022/2023 academic year, all MAS Al Wasriya Johor students were more active on social media, especially to upload daily activities and as a learning tool, although they often used cellphones during learning. I feel it is being used. The Principal took action, including prohibiting the use of cellphones during learning and ordering teachers to confiscate cellphones used during learning. This strategy was very effective, as evidenced by the reaction of students who left their cellphones in the classroom and secretly used social media during recess.
